Numerical Tools Solution walkthrough.

As a quick reminder,

Ethan reached out because he needs you to help validate

some high level stats about our products and customers.

So in the Solution Preview,

I've added in all of the answers in bold,

but let's head over to Power BI

and check these out for ourselves.

All right, so our first question is,

what is our average product cost, right?

And so from the Product Lookup Table,

we want to head over to our Product Cost column

and Transform, Statistics, Average,

and we get 413.66 if we round to two digits there.

So that checks out.

Up next, how many colors do we sell our products in?

So we're gonna head over to our Product Color column,

Transform, Statistics.

And then again, here,

we want to count the distinct values within this column,

right?

And we get 10, which again,

that aligns with what we saw in the solution preview.

Next, how many distinct customers do we have?

So for this we're gonna head to the Customer Table.

And our Customer Key column

is going to give us the unique number of customers.

So from here, Transform, Statistics.

And then again, we're gonna count distinct.

And we get 18,148, which looks good.

And then our last question here

is what is the maximum annual customer income?

So we'll scroll over to our Customer Income field,

and then we will use our maximum function here

to get that value, and that is 170,000.

Perfect.

The last piece here was to return all of the tables

to their original state.
