[A Forbidden Marriage]

[Episode 24]

[Seclusion Valley]

There's a mark on your hand, Sect Leader.

Is that something you should be asking?

After everything that's happened,

you actually still want to make up with Shengyue Sect.

Qing,

you've disappointed me greatly.

Is it that I've disappointed you

or that you have been affected by Biluo Valley's Six Harmonies Divine Art

and now take orders from them?

Biluo Valley has sinister intentions.

The missing children case in Yangliu Town

was Biluo Valley's doing.

What happened in Yunyin Village was also pinned on us by Biluo Valley.

I just never imagined

that you'd stoop to colluding with them.

Nonsense.

Stop making wild guesses.

The mark on your hand...

is fading.

What mark are you talking about?

Lu Jin has been practicing the Six Harmonies Divine Art.

Those struck by his palms

will have a mark left on them.

When the mark festers,

bones rot and pus flows,

leading to a miserable death.

But you haven't shown any symptoms.

Instead, the mark is barely visible.

You've been bewitched by that witch from Shengyue Sect,

and now you're talking nonsense.

Fine,

I'll help you come to your senses.

Stay in there and reflect on yourself!

[Saintess Hall]

What? The Shengyue Token is the Moon Blade?

Yuan Yingxing,

are you kidding me?

Yao Fu said she's sick

and she needs both the Sun and Moon Blades to cure her illness.

You actually believe

such a lie?

I think she's truly clouded your judgment.

Lingyin said

she'll die soon.

She's always full of schemes.

If she really needs them,

why doesn't she come get them herself?

Why does she keep trying to sow discord between us?

Yuan Yingxing,

how many times has this happened?

Why do you always choose to believe her

instead of me?

Yue,

that is not a lie.

She said that after taking Lingyin's Compliance Pill.

She stayed with me before

and married Yang Qing

just to get both the Sun and Moon Blades.

Fine.

Even if all this is true,

is it really worth it for someone

like her?

Why should we care whether she lives or dies?

She killed me once

and has deceived you countless times.

Is giving up the Sun and Moon Blades for someone like her

worth it?

Worth it or not, what difference does it make?

I can't just stand by and lose her.

If something happened to Yang Qing,

would you act the same way?

Don't you dare compare her to Yang Qing.

She's not worthy.

Have you really made up your mind?

The Sun Blade is the Alliance Leader's Token.

The Moon Blade is the Shengyue Token symbolizing the status

of our sect's chief.

Something so precious—

you really want to give them to her?

As you said,

it's just a symbol of status,

without much practical use.

We might as well use it to save a life.

Since when do you care about human life?

Yue, tell me,

what will it take for you to help me?

The Sun Blade belongs to Yunmen after all.

Yang Qing only entrusted it to me temporarily.

If something goes wrong...

If something goes wrong,

I'll take full responsibility.

Is she really that important to you,

more important than Shengyue Sect?

If Shengyue Sect is gone,

I could rebuild it.

But without her,

I don't know what I would become.

Thank you,

Yue.

You said

the Sun and Moon Blades could save your life.

What are you thinking about?

I...

Since you've got them,

hurry up and leave.

Don't stay here and bother me anymore.

Yuan Yingxing.

Why is it you?

I've already given you the Sun Blade and Moon Blade.

What are you doing here?

Do you have a death wish?

I...

I can stay for a few more days.

How unfortunate for you,

having to live like this for a few more days.

That's not what I meant.

What are you doing now?

I don't have what you want now,

so you don't need to pander to me anymore.

Yingxing,

do you still remember

how we first met?

You were bathing in the hot spring in the back mountain.

I pretended to sneak into Shengyue Sect to get your attention.

Yes,

and I actually fell for it.

I thought you were a spy from Yunmen

and wanted to tease you a bit,

but little did I know...

I'm sorry.

I shouldn't have let my obsession

lead me to hurt your feelings.

What's the point of saying all this now?

Don't expect to get my forgiveness

before you leave.

Yingxing,

I'm not saying all this

to get your forgiveness.

I just want to tell you

that I love you.

What did you say?

I said

I love you.

Actually, I've loved you for a long time,

but for various reasons,

I couldn't tell you,

nor was I able to express it.

Yesterday,

after thinking about it for a long time,

I still felt I needed to tell you how I feel.

If this troubles you,

just be troubled for a few more days.

For the next few days,

let's get along well,

okay?

You said it yourself.

During the next few days,

we must be together at all times.

[Seclusion Valley]

Mr. Yang.

As long as you agree to marry me,

Sect Leader Feng will surely release you.

I've already married Wangyue.

I will never marry you.

You can divorce her.

Do you really want to stay here in darkness

for the rest of your life?

Thank you for your kindness, Miss Lu.

I appreciate it.

However, in this life,

Wangyue will be my only wife.

Wang Yue is a witch from Shengyue Sect.

What's so good about her?

How am I inferior to her?

No matter who she is,

she is my wife.

Fine, Yang Qing.

Then I'll be direct.

Biluo Valley will soon lead all the sects

to besiege Mount Yin and attack Shengyue Sect.

By that time, I will kill that witch personally

and bring her head before you.

If she dies,

let's see how you can remain faithful to her.

Junior Yang.

Senior Wang.

Are you alright?

I'm fine.

The sect leader has been acting strangely lately.

He's actually taking orders from Lu Jin.

Something must be wrong.

You need to leave quickly

and investigate this matter.

We can't allow Yunmen

to become a pawn of Biluo Valley.

But what about the sect leader?

Don't worry about that.

I have my ways.

By the way,

I've told Jiang Yan and Shang Huai

to wait for you at the foot of the mountain.

Take them with you,

so you can look after each other on the journey.

If you let me go like this,

what if the sect leader blames you?

Don't worry.

Yun and I owe you a great deal.

Chief Lu's bloodlust knows no bounds,

yet the sect leader obeys him.

I'll never support this.

I heard from Murong Xuan of Yanmen

the Six Harmonies Divine Art was created by the ancestors of Shengyue Sect.

It's ruthless and vicious,

turning practitioners bloodthirsty enough to turn against their own family.

Chief Lu is obsessed with destroying Shengyue Sect,

probably because he's worried that since the Six Harmonies Divine Art

was originally created by someone from Shengyue Sect,

they might still have some records of the technique.

Only by eliminating Shengyue Sect

can he secure his invincible position.

A hundred years ago, Yunmen's founding master

once found a way to counter this skill.

Do you know anything about that?

I only heard

our founding master used the Alliance Leader's Token,

the Sun and Moon Blades, to defeat the enemy.

But... I've returned the Sun Blade to the sect leader.

I'm afraid it's now in Chief Lu's hands.

The Sun Blade I handed over was fake.

I'll take care of the Sun and Moon Blades.

Lu Jin has become a great threat to the martial world.

If the martial world falls into his hands,

the consequences would be unimaginable.

We must stop him quickly.

Come on.

Let's leave quickly.

I was wondering what rat snuck into Seclusion Valley.

This truly proves that no matter how vigilant you are,

you can't guard against the enemy within.

Wang Yuanhao,

I've always known you're a hypocrite.

Your surrender was just an act.

Now, you're trying to help Yang Qing escape,

and I've caught you red-handed.

What else

do you have to say?

Junior Yang,

you leave first.

I have nothing to say!

Those who harm the people—

anybody has the right to kill them!

Qing,

take this scroll

and leave!

Feng Xingyun,

don't forget

you were struck by my Six Harmonies Palm.

Without me transferring inner strength to you,

you will certainly die!

I, Feng Xingyun,

would never stoop

to colluding with a scumbag like you who's been practicing

the evil Six Harmonies Divine Art!

Qing,

Lu Jin has mastered the evil Six Harmonies Divine Art.

The way to break it is on the scroll.

Remember,

Lu Jin must be killed!

Leave!

Yunmen's disciples

would rather break than bend.

We should make it our duty to help the people.

We practice martial arts

only to save people from suffering

and fight against injustice.

Got it.

[Yunmen]

I've gathered you all here today

because I have important news to announce.

Yang Qing has betrayed us by joining Shengyue Sect

and personally killed his master and Elder Wang.

How is that possible?

-It can't be true. -Yeah.

How is that possible?

How is that possible?

I have both witnesses and evidence!

What else is there to say?

This is indeed Mr. Yang's sword,

but based on just a sword alone,

how can you be sure that Mr. Yang is the killer?

-That's right! -That's right!

Chief Lu,

don't you think you're making a hasty judgment?

That's right.

God knows if you took his sword yourself.

Chief Lu,

murder is a serious crime.

Drawing a conclusion so hastily...

Stop arguing!

You're giving me a headache!

This...

You people from Yunmen are defending Yang Qing!

Are you his accomplices?

Yeah.

So what if we are?

I asked you guys here today

to call upon all of you

to join Biluo Valley in eliminating the evil!

Yunmen can't even properly manage

its own internal affairs.

And it even has a traitor who's colluded with Shengyue Sect!

Naturally, Biluo Valley should take on this responsibility

to eliminate Shengyue Sect.

Only then...

Only then can the world be at peace.

[Wangyou Pavilion]

Go ahead.

What's the situation now?

The sect leader and Senior Wang were killed

by Lu Jin while trying to save me.

This...

It's not your fault.

It's not your fault.

No one could have imagined

that Lu Jin would have such treacherous ambition,

willing to practice the evil technique

just to dominate the martial world.

Go on.

Lu Jin framed me for the deaths

of the sect leader and Senior Wang,

led Biluo Valley's disciples to take control of Yunmen,

and tricked the other sects into allying with them.

They plan to destroy Shengyue Sect soon.

This puts us at a severe disadvantage.

Is there no way to get

the other sects to stand on our side?

I still don't have the evidence

to prove Lu Jin is practicing the evil technique,

so it's very hard to make the other sects believe us.

But it doesn't matter.

I've already found a solution.

As long as we break the Six Harmonies Divine Art,

the other sects will naturally see

Lu Jin's true colors.

Junior,

the Six Harmonies Divine Art

isn't something that can be easily dealt with.

Right now, it's just the few of us.

It won't be easy to fight against Biluo Valley's overwhelming forces.

Yuan Yingxing has agreed to join forces with us.

We won't be fighting alone.

Senior, don't worry.

I won't let the sect leader and Senior Wang

die in vain.

Mr. Shen,

evil can never prevail over righteousness.

At worst, we'll fight to the end!

Yes.

Fight to the end.

We can do this!

The chief of Biluo Valley

[Tianyu Palace]

is leading all sects to surround us at the foot of the mountain,

demanding our surrender.

I see.

Keep watching them down the mountain.

Yes.

I didn't expect them to come so soon.

I thought we had a few more days.

Chief Yuan.

Lingyin,

keep a close eye on the saintess.

I'll go deal with them.

Yes, Chief.

Will Yuan Yingxing surrender or not?

Father,

there's no response yet.

Petty Shengyue Sect.

He won't come out?

Does he really think I have no way to deal with him?

Guards.

Chief Lu,

what are you going to do?

Pour oil.

Set the mountain on fire.

[Shengyue Sect]

So the righteous Biluo Valley

has resorted to such despicable tactics as arson?

Lu Jin,

you've been practicing the Six Harmonies Divine Art.

You think you can keep it hidden?

Many people in Biluo Valley died suddenly.

Can you explain that

in front of all the other sects?

A few months ago,

the missing children case in Yangliu Town

and the rove beetles in Yunyin Village—

Miss Lu, do you dare say those things

have nothing to do with Biluo Valley?

I...

Chief Lu has been practicing an evil technique.

He's changed completely,

confusing right and wrong

and harming the martial world.

That kind of evil technique—

who else but you could have conceived it?

You demon, you're slandering me!

Yang Qing,

you betrayed us and joined the evil sect.

You killed your master, Sect Leader Feng, and Elder Wang.

And now you're helping this demon falsely accuse me!

Fellow heroes!

Don't listen to his slanderous lies!

Kill Yang Qing,

avenge Sect Leader Feng,

destroy Shengyue Sect,

and restore the world to peace!

Kill! Kill! Kill!

Lu Jin,

stop.

Stop harming innocent people.

Isn't that... Isn't that Murong Xuan?

Yes, Murong Xuan.

Murong Xuan?

So, you still remember me.

Then you must also remember this.

Back then, I tried to stop you from practicing the evil technique,

so you destroyed Yanmen in revenge,

forcing me to flee with the few surviving disciples

to Mount Yin!

Is that true?

You're talking nonsense!

Nonsense?

Lu Jin,

do you know that practicing the Six Harmonies Divine Art

causes black veins to appear?

If you have nothing to hide,

take off your clothes

and let everyone here see

whether you've practiced it or not.

I'm the chief of Biluo Valley

and the acting alliance leader!

Taking off clothes in public

would be utterly inappropriate!

That's right.

Chief Lu,

if you don't dare to do this, just say so.

Don't make excuses.

Chief Lu,

take off your clothes and show them!

After all, it's a minor faction that has joined the evil sect.

How dare they accuse the Central Plains martial world of practicing an evil technique.

I don't believe his nonsense.

Chief Lu, show him!

Show him! Take off your clothes!

He's a mere traitor!

How can you believe what he said?

He's trying to sow discord

and damage our morale!

Master Murong.

Master Murong.

From today on,

I'll be the alliance leader!

And Biluo Valley will dominate the martial world!

Those who defy me will be killed without mercy!

Did you hear the alliance leader clearly?

Is there anyone not convinced?

I'm not convinced!

Who else is not convinced?

Lu Jin!

You've gone mad!

You want Qingcheng Sect to submit to a demon like you?

Never!

Today, Qingcheng Sect

is going to eliminate the evil and uphold justice for the people!

Kill!

Stop!

Xuanxuan!

Lingyin!

Chief!

Chief Yuan.

Don't speak.

Hurry! Check on him!

Yes.

Chief Yuan.

Chief Lu has mastered the evil technique.

With that strike from him,

I have no more than 45 minutes

before I die.

Impossible!

Chief Yuan.

Actually, you're a good chief.

Don't let Lu Jin...

harm anyone anymore.

Master Murong.

Master Murong!

Yuan Yingxing,

go get the Sun and Moon Blades now

to break Lu Jin's Six Harmonies Divine Art.

Then let's see how arrogant he remains.

I heard Biluo Valley has sent people to surround Mount Yin.

You just focus on recovering.

Petty Biluo Valley is

nothing to fear.

Then why are you here now?

I missed you,

so I came to check on you.

Are you... leaving soon?

What if I take the Sun and Moon Blades by force

to make you stay?

You know I can't stay.

If I stay here, I'm as good as dead.

Then promise me

that no matter where you go,

you won't forget me.

Yingxing,

are you hiding something from me?

No.

Say it—

you'll never forget me.

Okay.

Pinky swear.

I will never forget you.

So?

I will kill Lu Jin

and give everyone closure.

Did he mean he didn't get the Sun and Moon Blades?

It must be because of that wicked woman again.

Giving us closure?

How exactly?

Forget it.

Let's go find Yao Fu.

Let's go.

Where are you going?

Has Yuan Yingxing changed his mind?

So he asked you to take back the Sun and Moon Blades?

I wish he had changed his mind,

but he'd rather sacrifice himself

than let anything happen to you.

Let's put aside our grudges for now.

But

do you have the heart to let him die for you?

What did you say?

Lu Jin has mastered the evil technique.

Now, only the Sun and Moon Blades

can break it.

But...

he said the blades are crucial to your safety

and you'd die without them.

So he gave up.

Chief has never changed his mind,

because he's gone down the mountain to his death.

How can a dead man change his mind?

Yingxing!

Yingxing, are you alright?

You're such a fool!

If I hadn't come,

would you really die for me willingly?

Yao.

Why did you come?

Didn't I tell you to go back?

Just wait a little longer.

After they defeat Lu Jin,

I'll get you the Alliance Leader's Token.

No.

The martial world is in such chaos.

Yang Qing may not be able to restore order without the Alliance Leader's Token.

Why should I care about the martial world?

I only want you.

Yingxing, I don't have much time left.

Let me go.

I don't want you to see me dying.

Take good care of yourself.

-Remember our promise. -Yao.

I won't let you die.

You'll be fine.

Yao.
