[A Forbidden Marriage]

[Episode 22]

[Tianyu Palace]

Is there some hardship you cannot speak of?

If there is,

I can trust you once,

or even twice.

Whatever it is, I won't blame you.

Speak!

Talk to me, Yao Fu!

Just a few days ago, you were all tender with me,

and the next moment you married Yang Qing!

Did you ever speak a single truthful word?

What do you want me to say?

That Yunmen forced me? That someone pressured me?

I can say that,

but would you believe it?

You've betrayed me again and again!

Yao Fu.

Just you wait.

You'll stay here until you die,

never to see the sunlight outside again.

Senior Shen!

Junior Yang.

The dungeon in Biluo Valley

has been opened,

and the prisoners have been rescued by them.

By now,

they should be on their way back to Mount Yin.

Yang Wangyue.

How exactly has Yunmen ever wronged you?

Everything you've done has been a slap in Yunmen's face!

And she even dares to claim she has feelings for you.

If she had even a shred of conscience,

she wouldn't have dragged you into such a predicament.

I'm the one to blame.

Our top priority now is to retrieve the Sun Blade.

When it comes to knowledge of Mount Yin,

besides Junior Yao, I know it best.

How about we split up?

Alright.

Greetings, Chief!

Please spare me, Chief!

Please spare my life, Chief!

The Six Harmonies Palm is truly miraculous.

Its power is absolutely astonishing.

Once I master this divine skill,

the martial world

will be mine to command!

Father, your might is unmatched.

Earlier, you exposed that witch.

You shall be credited for that.

Well done.

It's a shame that Yunmen was useless,

letting that witch escape.

I'll definitely track her down

and tear her to pieces!

That witch doesn't matter.

What matters is that

you must help me reclaim the Alliance Leader's Token.

Understand?

Yes.

I'll definitely retrieve the Alliance Leader's Token.

Mingyang has been quite reliable this time.

Fortunately, everything was prepared in advance,

so it's fairly thorough.

We still cannot afford to delay.

Let's depart immediately.

I have an idea.

Let's split up.

Qinglai City is the only route to Mount Yin,

and now Yunmen and Biluo Valley

have already stationed heavy guards at all four gates

with strict inspections.

I'll draw them away at the north gate.

Once the guards there are distracted,

you must quickly disguise yourselves as a merchant caravan with the Guardian

and leave the city,

From Yangliu Town, take the secret passage back to Mount Yin.

This plan could work,

but it's too dangerous.

Fortune favors the bold.

We went through so much to rescue them.

We can't let them be captured again.

If we must do this,

you can't be the one to go.

Mingyang and I will go.

I'll disguise myself as you.

No, you can't go either.

You should go with Saintess

and take everyone back to the Shengyue Sect.

I'll go distract them.

You'll distract them?

I'm afraid once you go,

it'll turn into an all-out fight.

Enough.

Yue.

I'll take Mingyang and disguise myself as you.

This is the safest approach.

I can use poison, and Mingyang can fight.

Don't worry. We won't be the ones at a disadvantage.

Look at them.

They've suffered so much in prison.

Their bodies won't hold out much longer.

Hurry and take them away.

But...

No buts.

In the time we're wasting, you could have already covered miles.

Yue,

could you bear to see them escape one danger

only to face death again?

Lend me your silver hairpin.

With a veil upon my face,

I should be able to pass through without arousing suspicion.

You must be careful.

If you can't win, just run.

This was a birthday gift from Yang Qing.

Why do I get the feeling

you're still a little reluctant to part with

the gift that scoundrel gave you?

Who said I'm reluctant?

I've long wanted to throw it away.

[Yixiang Roast Chicken]

[No entry for members of the Shengyue Sect or dogs]

Manager.

Where's your boss?

So many people want to see me every day.

Just send away those who aren't important!

You...

It's really like surging waters flooded the Dragon King temple.

I didn't even recognize our own people.

What brings

you two

to my humble roast chicken shop today?

It's an honor to have you here.

Such an honor indeed.

I noticed the sign at your door earlier, which says...

The servants are ignorant.

I've told them countless times

not to hang such signs at the door,

yet all they do is brush me off.

It wasn't me.

Why are you still standing here?

Go change that sign at the door right now!

Yes, Boss.

I'll change it right away.

Useless thing.

I believe you're not just here

for that sign at my door, right?

You should already know that

Saintess has rescued

the four Guardians and the eight Vanguards

imprisoned in Biluo Valley.

And now,

we need to distract the guards at the north gate for Saintess.

Do you have any good ideas?

This...

I'm merely

the owner of a small roast chicken shop.

How could I possibly...

Well, Fan Hao.

Saintess allowed you to open this roast chicken shop

as a cover for gathering intelligence.

If I'm not mistaken,

the Shengyue Sect provided your startup capital, right?

And now look at you,

treating this chicken shop as your main business,

completely addicted to running it, huh?

To be honest,

who would have thought this chicken shop would be so profitable?

It's enough for me

to live a comfortable life.

This is much better

than being a hall master in the Shengyue Sect.

I don't care if you're genuinely running this business or just for show.

You must first make sure the sect matters are handled properly.

Of course.

That's for sure.

Please.

Here you go.

Thank you.

Mr. Jiang, you've been following me for quite a while.

What's your purpose?

How did you know my surname is Jiang?

Everyone knows

you're Jiang Yan, disciple of Yunmen.

Miss Ling?

Why are you here?

Water Hall Master, your poison

is indeed as silent as ever.

Impressive.

Of course.

[Qinglai City]

Listen up!

Jiang Yan is now in our hands!

If you want him to live,

let us pass immediately.

Not a chance.

Very well.

Mingyang, kill Jiang Yan!

Got it.

You wouldn't dare!

Anyway, it's a life from Yunmen I'm dealing with.

Why wouldn't I dare?

You...

Old Man.

I'm giving you two options:

either let your Yunmen disciples

die with us,

or let us pass.

I'll count to three,

or I'll kill Jiang Yan.

Three!

[Shengye Casino]

Two!

Fine.

Don't hurt Jiang Yan.

I'll let you go.

Does my word mean nothing anymore?

[Shengye Casino]

Let them pass!

[Qinglai City]

After them!

Let's go!

-Let's go! -After them!

Don't move.

Behave yourself.

Miss Lingyin, stop pretending.

I know it's you.

That's Junior Yang's hairpin you're wearing, isn't it?

It was Mr. Yang's gift to her.

So what if you figured it out?

You want to capture Saintess?

Not a chance.

It won't be that easy

for you to escape.

It's not just us,

there are other sects

from Biluo Valley after you too.

No matter how many people there are,

we'll kill every single one of them.

I'll start with you if I have to.

Wait for me here.

What are you trying to do?

Our goal now isn't to escape,

but to buy more time for Saintess.

Now that we have Jiang Yan,

Yunmen won't just stand by and do nothing.

I'll go see them and talk things over.

If I can stall them,

we'll hand Jiang Yan over to them.

Keeping him with us would only slow us down.

Be extra careful.

Try to lead them to our meeting point.

I'll find a way to back you up.

Okay.

Do you have any questions for me?

You can ask anytime.

As long as I can answer,

I won't lie to you.

Let's split up.

Shang Huai,

take some disciples and pursue in this direction.

The rest of you, come with me.

-Yes! -Yes!

Mr. Shen, I have some thoughts.

Go ahead.

My family raises horses,

so I can read their tracks.

Look,

these hoofprints

are quite different from those we saw miles back.

These are shallower and more chaotic.

So,

there was likely no rider on the horse.

And since this horse just gained its freedom,

the chaotic tracks make perfect sense.

Therefore, they must have separated from their horses

to deliberately lead us in the wrong direction.

So you're suggesting

we should pursue in this direction?

Exactly.

Alright.

They can't get far within these few miles.

Let's search carefully.

Let's go!

-Yes! -Yes!

-Stop! -Stop!

Fire Hall Master.

Hand over Jiang Yan and the witch immediately.

Beat me first if you can, then we'll talk.

Still defiant even at death's door.

Take him down!

What's this?

You've been poisoned with Ghost Scent.

You should know how powerful

this Ghost Scent is.

No one but me can cure it.

You're not Yang Wangyue.

You're the Demonic Healer, Lingyin?

Demoness.

You actually dared to impersonate Yang Wangyue!

Your poor eyesight

is hardly my fault, is it?

Shang Huai, how could you

mistake her for Yang Wangyue?

You're truly useless, causing nothing but trouble.

When we go back, reflect on your mistakes in seclusion.

Unless there's a good reason, you're not allowed to leave the mountain!

Mr. Shen.

She's wearing Yang Wangyue's silver hairpin,

so I was briefly misled.

I was wrong.

Enough.

You still have time for idle chat?

Better think about

whether you'll even live to make it back.

Demoness, hand over the antidote immediately!

You want the antidote?

That can be arranged.

Just obediently follow me back to Mount Yin.

I know that besides you,

there are others who want us dead

and are hunting us down.

The best way to ensure our safe return to Mount Yin

is for Mingyang and me to disguise ourselves as Yunmen disciples

and blend in with your group.

So I'll have to trouble you, Elder Shen,

and you young heroes of Yunmen to accompany us on this journey.

After all, during your last raid on our sect,

you didn't get a proper tour.

Why not enjoy a proper visit this time?

How does that sound?

Don't even think about it.

Going to your territory at Mount Yin

would be walking straight into a trap!

I'd rather die here

than let Yunmen suffer such humiliation!

Mr. Shen.

We mustn't.

This Ghost Scent poison is extremely potent.

We've been poisoned by it before.

At that time,

all our fellow disciples couldn't channel our energy,

and we gradually lost our sense of smell and taste.

Mr. Shang certainly speaks from experience.

If I hadn't given you the antidote last time,

you would indeed have gradually lost all five senses.

Why was I so kind-hearted last time

to cure you?

If I hadn't,

Mr. Shang, you would probably be blind by now.

Mr. Shen.

We can't take this lightly.

The Demonic Healer's techniques are...

Shut up!

Mr. Shang,

what do you think?

[Yixiang Roast Chicken]

[No entry for members of righteous sects or dogs]

They are indeed resting here.

This roast chicken shop is a meeting point for the Shengyue Sect,

[Yixiang Roast Chicken]

It's actually a secret passage to Mount Yin

that only members of the Shengyue Sect know about.

They've been inside for 15 minutes.

and catch them by surprise?

but if you couldn't convince those righteous sects

to release our people,

I would take matters into my own hands.

I'm sorry, something unforeseen has happened.

I thought I could handle it properly.

Is marrying Yao Fu what you call handling it?

Gaining my trust

only to crush it completely,

I don't know why this happened,

but Wangyue, trust me—

I had no inner strength back then,

which is why I was easily affected.

But what about you?

would you also fall victim so easily?

Don't think I'll believe you

just because you make up some excuse.

Wangyue.

After all, I betrayed your trust.

Have you heard?

The Shengyue Sect is about to be restored.

I have.

That Chief Yuan

is quite something indeed.

He was once utterly defeated by other sects,

but now,

he's making a comeback.

That's a good thing.

When the Shengyue Sect wasn't around,

many problems arose.

Children went missing in Yangliu Town,

causing quite an uproar.

They say bandits took them,

but I don't buy it.

How could mere bandits be that skilled?

Even when Yunmen came, they couldn't solve it.

In the end, the case was just hastily closed.

If the Shengyue Sect were around,

Right. That's right.

You've all perked up your ears, right?

Did you hear that?

I mean, Elder Shen,

could you stop going on about righteousness

and the common people all day long?

It's useless.

Nobody buys it anyway.

They think

your Yunmen is inferior to our Shengyue Sect.

They think you're unreliable,

Yuan Yingxing is more capable,

and that you just don't measure up.
