Frankfurt am Main

Thank you very much.

Bun!

Jana...

- Do you have a problem, honey? - you are boycotting my project.

And you made me drink chili.

Adam, you know very well that Bender is gay,

And you took me to a strip bar!

Why don't you want to buy?

You could kill me!

nelegi?

Las-m!

- Hey! What is happening here? - Nothing.

In my office! Now!

It is very edifying

when talking about those in the third person.

- There's no reason to... - It doesn't matter!

From what Jana tells, I can only understand

for your old friend, Moldovan, you want to lower the price.

It's not true.

Damn liar!

252, v rog.

And tighten things up. The guards are on their way.

Stai puin.

Listen, my wife threw me out of the house.

i?

It is possible that because of this he was a little displaced.

But you know how I work. 4.8, what the hell!

You haven't lost your dignity yet. Keep it. Please!

Dignity? Do you know where it is?

- Gabriel, we need Adam. - Down there, at the entrance.

At the checkpoint, my dignity remains there when I enter here.

Come on, give it a chance. I need a sales person.

- Jana, Jana... Jana, las. - Yes, enter.

Adam...

- Success! - Yes.

Pa!

Head up!

When we enter the hard phase, we find a replacement for Adam.

Is there anything else?

Come on, get to work! We still have a lot to do.

Mulumesc.

Mulumesc.

Episode 4 OLD DEBTS

When do you give me the evidence?

In three hours.

- Bun dimineaa! - Bun dimineaa!

Who would be the most convincing head of the investment department

of the bank ranked third in the world?

Gabriel Fenger vs Christelle Leblanc?

I-am vzut pe Khano pi pe Ties Jacoby impreun.

At midnight. Very familiar.

S zicem c Credit International i Deutsche Global Invest

would prepare a merger in secret. Then, you would compete with them

directly with Fenger for the position of head of investments.

You want to discredit Fenger, and I should help you.

When you want a special position, as a woman...

- You have to choose special keys. - I've always wondered...

- What do you really want from me? - Show me what you got.

You can not.

- The evidence does not serve the purpose. - Let me judge. Good?

The evidence is overwhelming. It doesn't just discredit someone's reputation,

but put people in prison. I owe you

because he helped me with the risk loans.

But if you want to do it to Fenger,

you have to think about something else.

These do not only harm Fenger.

But new, everyone.

What do you want?

Don't you sit down?

I want to apologize.

Why?

ncerc s-mi ndrept viaa...

What do you want to apologize for?

Because I didn't follow the rules,

fiindc i-am fcut ru.

What does this mean?

Eu...

... I met someone. A very important person for me.

I don't accept his apologies.

I'm here because I didn't go to the police.

But I don't want to calm his conscience.

Stay as miserable as you are.

Car-te!

Mulumesc.

Okay, so we disagreed. Leipzig will be completely sold out.

- The bank does not withhold anything. - We manage to do this.

That's great! Finish your meal, I have to answer.

Sure.

Jean-Claude! Allow me to explain. No, no, everything is set up.

He may be loathed, but more often than not, he's right.

For example, when he convinces people to live the values.

Don't you think I'm acting out of conviction?

Did you sell your values out of conviction?

- That's what I've always admired about you. - Yes?

The ability to lie to yourself.

To have such a job, and you think it's about values.

When Silver Mountain is found out, Khano will not suffer.

But you and me.

Rule number one: if no one is advantaged by the fact that they are,

will not be found.

I would dig up the dead.

in Global's accounting.

When they find out that Jana wants her nose...

Dismissal without notice. But because the evidence is...

That will do. I just have to give him the right job.

Manama, Bahrain

Bridge Water Associates. Alo!

No, she will call you.

I'm afraid Mr. Walker no longer works for us.

Silver Mountain, BSC. What can I help you with?

Silver Mountain aparine lui Deutsche Global Invest. E adevrat?

Sorry, sir. Who would you like to talk to?

With nobody. I just want to know if Silver Mountain

eo sucursala Deutsche Global Invest.

I'm sorry, sir. I can't help you in this regard.

A good day!

Thank you very much.

I spread the sails and leave behind the world I knew.

I'm doing it. Everyone has such a phase.

A crisis, when you question everything and wonder...

- What does it all mean? - did you find an answer too?

There is no answer. And we have to accept that.

Any search for meaning ends in two ways, either you fall,

either you resume your old life...

- and try to be happy. - So there are only two options?

When you started working, being young, many years ago,

my father had so much money that you wouldn't have had to work.

Shall I disinherit you, so that you have a meaning in life again?

- The classic threat in our family. - and you?

Avei prini bogai? Ce spunei?

Should Luc be poor? Would he be happier?

- What should we do with the money? - You don't have to answer.

- It's one of his rhetorical questions. - Why? She has an influence.

Yes. A very positive one, if you haven't noticed yet.

Donai-i.

I know many people for whom it is a big deal

to afford him something. That's why it seems to me

that there is nothing sadder than having so much money locked up in accounts

And he cannot reach his goal. To make people happier.

So we come to the topic of our meeting.

Our lawyer succeeded: you can work again.

You can end the charade and become yourself again.

You had fun with the housekeeper,

now it's time to be an adult again!

Does he understand French? I had no way of knowing.

Sunai-m!

Silver Mountain, BSC. What can I help you with?

- I got your message. What happened? - Someone called and asked him questions.

- Who? - He didn't say his name.

- A journalist? - I don't know.

A ntrebat direct dac Silver Mountain e o sucursal.

Alo! Dle Sydow!

Frankfurt am Main

Bun, contiincioaso!

Come with me.

where are we going

What is this?

In the 80s, the first floor was called "Aisbergul".

Because cocaine was stored here.

Few know it exists. Take a seat.

I'm sorry, I don't have a sofa.

And why would you want this?

Fiindc...

... I live here. What do you see here... this is me.

Good.

And I wanted to show him what you can become.

Thanks for the warning.

I have a friend.

Sigur. Yes.

We were expecting a more charming flirtation from you.

Yes, my skills are different.

What happened to the intelligent banker woman

which do i remember?

Car accident. A long time ago.

- It should be! - Yes.

Good night!

Not.

Bestow.

Voiceover by Noah Weisz.

I was thinking about it from here.

Why exactly this?

Because the cultural center will be built here.

With a minus?

Adic... cu liniu?

Peter-Schultheiss-Strasse?

Habar n-am.

The street is shorter than the name.

Not...

"Schultheissstrasse" ar fi...

Please, that would make sense. Without me, the street would not have existed.

Okay then, Schultheissstrasse, no line.

- Bun! - Bun dimineaa!

- Hello! when are you coming back - Soon, Flo. Very soon.

- Ct de curnd? - Curnd, curnd?

- I miss you. - me too.

- I really miss you. - It's not true! Mind.

- A zis "sst". - Ba da, ba da!

- Sure. We miss you very much. - Lie...

Are you accusing me of something?

From the outside, there is no clue

to support such an assumption. He asked directly

dac Silver Mountain eo sucursal a lui Global.

I was very careful. My collaborators found out nothing.

Who do you have to pass by?

if you want to get information about Silver Mountain?

- Hello! Take a seat. - Thank you.

I want the name of any person, no matter how insignificant,

who behaved suspiciously in this building.

- Good. What are you actually looking for? - Don't ask stupid questions...

- To pass the time. - I do not do that.

If you find out you're protecting someone, Mohammed...

- Mr. Schwarz, I'm not protecting anyone. - You will suffer the consequences.

The guards are already coming to confiscate your phone...

- and the computer. - What the? You have no right to do that.

You are hiding something. It can be felt from a great distance, even against the wind.

Either tell us something now, or your career is over

in the entire financial-banking field.

Yeah, okay, so...

- Did someone come twice... - Are you welcome?

Someone presented himself to me twice.

Jan Liekam.

He wanted to know something about the projects sold.

He wanted to download data for Fenger.

Something from the main data center.

What projects?

Cred c...

- Earnings. - Rahat!

Let it be clear that this threat is not just a word of mouth.

There will be no postponement of the finalization of the contract.

I am waiting for the bank to take over

unsold parts, to meet the deadline.

"Vino pe teras."

If your bank postpones the deadline, the municipality will sue you.

Thank you, Mr. Schultheiss, for your strategic honesty.

We will succeed. Goodbye!

I don't want to discuss. The woman spied here.

It makes no sense, man.

I need three skilled lawyers, and I'm making his life hell.

What do you want me to do to him? He threatens her every week

that he is not allowed to talk to anyone about anything

what she probably doesn't even know? Jana is my most important person.

Privete!

Isn't the resemblance incredible?

- i Leo a noastr was unpredictable. - Las asta.

- He was unpredictable. But... - Don't start with that, okay?

But... She was more ambitious than us. and it was louder.

He was always one step ahead of us. That's why I loved her.

And I wanted it. But this chick...

Aceast Jana!

You loved her because she was mine, right?

- Zu? Leave it alone. - Now I see the similarity.

Both of us...

We don't take any risks. Did you understand? in our common interest.

Is that why you waited with the transactions until my arrival?

Abia ncep, i vnzrile ctre Silver Mountain

were they already prepared? You have been waiting specially

to include me in this story, right?

That's exactly what it was. I've been waiting to get you into this story

And so I can fire her, because I'm jealous of you!

Good. I take care of Jana.

Do it, otherwise others will do it for you.

What's up guys? And do you have a break? Jesus!

you come with me Now!

What did you want to download to the data center?

Answer immediately.

Good. I didn't download anything. I was with some colleagues in a bar

And they told something about a project.

I wanted to know what it was about. I think it's normal

like when I start working somewhere...

- About what project? - I don't know anymore...

His name was Quaestus! What did you want to download?

- I wanted... - Stop lying!

- Why Quaestus? - They won't even let me talk.

Because you lie! Good?

I didn't download anything. I just informed myself.

You will never receive any post again.

You only have one chance. You must tell me the truth

and I believe you.

Deci ncepe.

Say!

Someone asked me for information.

Cine?

But I didn't tell him anything.

Cine?

Christelle Leblanc. Mi-a pus entrebîre despre Questus

And he asked me to check them. But I didn't do anything.

I did not download any information and cut off contact with her.

- Why did he want this information? - I don't know that.

The matter seemed so suspicious to me that I did nothing.

Damn you!

This matter is being investigated. And during the investigation you won't do it

nici mcar a single step n banc.

- Gabriel, I didn't do anything. - What the?

Eti o...

Gabriel...

Leblanc wanted the information,

because CI and Deutsche are preparing a merger.

Just a minute, okay. One damn minute.

- mi pare ru, dle Khano. - n regul, Sarah.

You told me there would be no merger in the next two years.

That was my condition to work here.

We have no choice.

How advanced are the negotiations?

I'm ready.

Don't want to...

Let it go. Download yourself.

tiu. Tu i Khano l favorizai pe Fenger.

Christelle, you know how much I appreciate your work.

Everyone has their own strategy.

It took me a while to figure out yours.

Most bosses are alpha males, the absolute number 1.

You do not.

You are the eternal number two. Although you are the boss.

But accept this. You make a virtue out of being number two.

Maybe we'd better continue our meal, Christelle.

You didn't understand the compliment.

I admire you.

You are a master at molding your partners in the same way

That none of them become a danger to you.

I also appreciate your passive aggressiveness.

And the subliminal insults that make arguing pointless.

However, it's wrong to think that I, automatically...

- I favor Fenger. - There is a reason.

he is afraid of me

Kidding. The decision has been made.

Mr. Liekam, I'm Meissner from Compliance.

I have to watch over you.

From now on, I will accompany you everywhere.

If it seems unpleasant to you, as I think it does to me...

- Good. I have to go somewhere. - No problem.

Jana?

- Can you speak? - Yes. What is it?

It was discovered that we had done the investigations.

I am now under surveillance.

A guy accompanies me everywhere.

Comfortable!

Why don't you come all the way to Luxembourg, so we can talk quietly?

Good.

I have three children, Jana. And this job is...

mi pare ru.

And that's why you couldn't even prevent me.

Puin i pas

that we are friends.

Puin i pas?

No, Jana, not her, but they were sitting there and...

I... Jana! Jan!

Luc?

Jana?

I want to talk to you. Shall I come up?

- I'm going down. - Good.

It's strange when a man has so much free time.

At first, I was overwhelmed.

Luc, I don't believe you for a second that you don't need this.

Then you can't imagine how sorry I am

that I behaved so badly with you.

Sure. Now you have behaved yourself, try to become better.

- It sounds strange, but that's exactly how it is. - You are the biggest bastard...

That I ever met.

I did all the dirty work and was always humiliated.

tiu.

You let them fire me because of your mistakes.

When someone like you gets better, there's always a trick in the middle.

You're only doing it for yourself.

And this action only encourages damned narcissism.

- Okay, that's it. You're right. - That's all?

But I have nothing to do with your firing.

My dad saved his ass, and you didn't even know.

The personnel asked you to be fired.

- For various mistakes... - ... that you made.

My father protected you and fired me. Nothing.

Am neles.

Dad flew to New York that day.

"Big Daddy" was on the plane. It has nothing to do with your firing.

and neither do I.

Jana?

Chosen in 2011 "European Banker of the Year", Christelle Leblanc

receive the "Positive Influence Award"...

- Al revistei "Business Affairs". - Isabelle? Putei citi normal?

"Still from the late 90s, Christelle Leblanc avenat,"

"within the French external information service DGSE,"

"an economic offender."

"Today, it deals with sustainable financial products, to reciprocate"

"ncrederea clienilor i a societii n investiiile bancare."

Delete that with DGSE.

Secret services always have a negative connotation.

- No matter what you did there. - the whole passage or...

You should go to an orthodontist.

Very beautiful.

Do I accept as is?

You had back pain. It's not good

to always sleep on the floor.

- Yes, Mom, but... - They'll be back.

They were very bad.

Dad, do you always eat alone? It's extremely sad.

I'm not alone at all. It seems that the whole European Central Bank is here.

Dle Sydow?

O clip...

Pardon!

Richard, from Financial Supervision. We don't know each other yet.

- Are you new? - A surprising change...

I'm the new boss of B6.

Would like to meet soon. we try

to improve the European surveillance mechanism.

- together with the ECB. - With pleasure.

Establish a schedule.

Good.

It would be...

M rog...

- We will talk. Bon appetit! - and you, too. Coming soon!

Voiceover by Noah Weisz.

I wanted to tell him that I conclude the contract in a week

I'm done with this crap. You heard?

I have to finish this

then, I resign, before the bastards fire me.

I'm coming back. I want you and Flo and I want you

let's have a common home and...

... I want some kind of job in Luxembourg. and i know

that I will get it with your help. No more Global and CI.

I no longer want. It's a sick world.

Eu...

I just wanted to tell him that I miss you.

I have to finish this, then I'll be back.

I want to return to you.

- Take some filling. - Good.

Rsuceti. Aa...

- Are you waiting for someone? - Not.

Hello! I'm Jana Liekam, a former colleague of Luc's.

Is here?

And. Intrai.

What brings you here?

The next situation: it's about Leipzig 2025. And I need you.

- Would you like a glass of red wine? - Everything is well set up.

The customers are eager, but we have little time.

It is about something huge, worth 4 billion.

And I don't want to risk it. I need a sales person,

to shove something down the client's throat that he might not want.

I need one with a parrot like you.

I didn't just say it like that. I no longer want.

Luc, come on, it's one of the most profitable projects in Europe.

Good for you...

The ateptm. From gndete-te.

But not too much.

Sorry for the trouble. Bon appetit!

Pa!

- Everything in order? - Yes. Yes.

Please answer me honestly.

Why does he like Fenger?

It's awesome. He has humor. He has a contagious enthusiasm.

Does that excuse him for being a criminal?

He and Sydow signed over the sales to Silber Mountain.

They are criminals, Jana.

Let's talk about you...

Do you want to return to CI?

You just have to give me the evidence.

He wasn't always honest with me. Why would this change in the future?

It was a mistake to treat you from above.

So...yeah.

Good. Who fired me at CI?

Cunoti "Casa Morii"?

It is near CI.

in the center of the city. Where there are many offices.

Some appear in CI. That's where the people from the bank end up

he doesn't need it anymore. People who have dedicated their life and enthusiasm to the bank

there are cousins in small, unworthy offices.

When the merger takes place and Fenger becomes the new head of investments,

I will no longer be of use to them. I will be sent

on a councilor position in Casa Morii,

where bones catch mold until they voluntarily, early, retire.

Then find something else. Someone like you always gets a job.

You'll figure it out soon

that this system is dominated by men.

I told them to fire you. I was planning to contact you that evening

And they get a job at Global.

But you came, you burst into my office... and I thought...

An ambitious female banker, who looks like her

with Fenger's deceased fiancee, I might be able to help

to get solid material about him. That's all.

- this is the truth. - What is your limit?

What happens if I don't give you the evidence?

- Why should you... - What else are you blackmailing me with?

Does your friend work at... Private Wealth?

Customers like him, but he's...

Common? He's not a genius like you.

A couple of phone calls from me,

And he will no longer have any client or any job.

That's how it started.

I hope we part tonight, my friend.

There was once a competition at our school.

Who can copy best.

I was the only one who didn't want to copy, because it seemed to me

that it is equally stressful and risky to copy

how simple it is to study for the test and take it. That's what I thought.

The teacher watched us closely. We all had equal chances again.

Our entire discussion is now on my cloud.

Why do I like Fenger?

He does not need to copy. It is simply good.

That's why I take care to remain my boss.

He left?

You must write me some words for tomorrow.

I did not prepare the exhibition about aphids.

Hello, I'm talking to you!

M asculi?

"He's common. He's not a genius, like you."

"A couple of phone calls from me,"

"And I won't have any more clients or jobs."

can't you sleep

He could send me back to work.

With a different attitude, of course.

And this job would no longer have anything to do with my father.

They want me because I'm good. I was good.

But you told me that you don't want to set foot in a bank anymore.

What destroyed you?

It will destroy you again.

Of course we are in a hurry, but you will not find any deception.

Let your parents check it out

And talk to our agents. Good.

We can do so...

Scuzai-m.

- Here you sit. - Thank you very much.

- Good morning! - Good. Now we have a chance.

- What are you doing? - Thank you.

I'm here.

I know the last two weeks have been hard.

That we all stayed a little with our families.

But you have to give everything you can, because otherwise we don't succeed.

You need to start filling out the order book.

In parallel, we have discussions with clients, and we advise.

We do everything simultaneously.

- in eight days, we finalize the contract. - Luc, can we make it?

Let me unfold. Let go of the soul!

napoi treab!

- Poft bun! - Mulumesc.

Good day!

The meat is not right.

- What's wrong with the meat? - Look at her a little.

It's way too small.

- He would like another piece. - Are you kidding me?

He wants a normal one, like the others.

Mulumesc.

Luc is not leaving willingly. I want my son back in Luxembourg.

- You have to fire him. - Gabriel...

The Leipzig team gives us a lot of trouble.

If you are going to fight for her, tell us.

It should be! I forgot that we have a 4 billion project to finalize.

How could someone be so stupid as to forget something like this?!

His mind is still. Thank God we have Liekam and Jacoby!

Gabriel...

Is right. We have to finish with Leipzig first. after that,

We fire them both. You will get your son back. Don't worry.

You need to clarify everything as soon as possible regarding the children.

Don't let her fool you. Do you already have a lawyer?

Yes. Mom, the little one hasn't been born yet.

Head up! Your brother has come to his senses

And he accepted the money. Is here. Shall I give him some?

Toni, this is Adam on the phone.

I don't see any other solution in connection with it.

You know people who solve something like that.

You have gone crazy?

You have no idea what's at stake for me.

I can't help you anymore!

You will stay away from this. I learned

how people are manipulated without them realizing it.

- and if it doesn't work? - I tell him one thing...

I won't act like I didn't hear what you said.

I won't let you pass the measure in such a state. Clear?

I have never been here.

Not!
