Qiushui!

Qiushui!

Xiao Qiushui!

Aren't you afraid of death?

The Power Gang ruined my family.

Death means nothing to me now.

Xiao Qiushui, I know you're eager for vengeance.

But in your current condition, you can't possibly fight them.

Even if I die trying, I'll make them pay.

If we lend you our power, you might stand a chance against them.

But we're both affected by gu poison.

Transferring energy would infect you too.

- Yes. - It'd corrupt you with gu poison.

Masters, I'm already a broken man.

Even if I'm to be poisoned, I don't care.

But Qiushui, once we transfer our power,

it'll feel like having your bones ground to dust.

I'll endure any pain for revenge.

I beg you to grant me your internal energy.

- Well then. - Well then.

Useless.

Borrowed internal energy?

Interesting.

(Father's jade pendant?)

(He said the pendant never leaves him if he's alive.)

(Are my parents...?)

(Liu Suifeng.)

Where are my parents?

Where are my parents?

Liu Suifeng, today you die!

This boy's resilience is unbelievable.

Our conflicting internal energies

flow through his meridians seamlessly.

If he survives, his potential's limitless.

Indeed.

Tianzheng, this boy shows no gu poison signs.

Xiao Qiushui had no internal energy for gu to latch onto.

Liu Suifeng is a martial world calamity. He must die.

Master!

Master! Master!

Longhu, what're you doing?

Master, I can never repay your teachings,

but I owe the Power Gang my life.

Longhu, I'll kill you!

- Baoxiang, forget it. - Master.

He's been your senior disciple for years.

- Punishment shouldn't come from you. - Master.

Longhu, have you repaid your debt to them?

Yes.

Good.

Life or death settles all accounts.

This exorcises your inner demons.

Today I clear my debt to them.

Now I repay my debt to you, Master.

How could this happen?

I didn't expect that even Hengshan Sect's Lady Mo

works for the Power Gang too.

How did Daxi's martial world fall so low?

we've secretly competed our whole lives,

yet we'll die together.

What's happening?

Liu Suifeng of the Power Gang plotted to kill Masters Tianzheng and Taichan.

Qiushui. Qiushui, where are our parents?

Speak! What exactly happened? Where are our parents?

Yiren,

Feng Lang is Liu Suifeng.

It's all my fault. I trusted the wrong person.

I doomed our parents. I doomed Huanhua.

What?

Isn't Feng Lang your friend? How could he be Liu Suifeng?

I was blind. I was blind to befriend an enemy!

I befriended an enemy!

What? What did you say?

Enough! Qiushui never intended this.

Yiren!

Qiushui!

Qiushui!

What are you doing?

Kaiyan,

ask him why he let a wolf into our home,

befriending Liu Suifeng to get our parents killed

and reduce our family to this state!

What?

Our parents are dead?

Qiushui, what happened?

Kaiyan, it's all my fault.

Young Master, are you alright? Xiao Qiushui showed no mercy.

Xiao Qiushui lacks such capability.

He couldn't have wounded me without borrowing two masters' energy.

Move!

I've long heard of your name, the mysterious White Phoenix.

I didn't expect you

(White Phoenix, Power Gang) to be Hengshan Sect's White-Robed Guanyin.

Thank you for today's assistance.

Had she delayed any further, you'd be dead.

Save your thanks for our gang leader.

Were it not for his favor for you, I'd never risk exposure to save you.

Tend to your beloved yourself.

What nonsense...

Song Mingzhu!

I'll handle Hengshan Sect affairs before reporting back.

Why will White Phoenix risk returning with her cover blown?

Longhu repaid Power Gang and then his sect with death.

Let's hope White Phoenix doesn't follow that path.

Don't you trust White Phoenix?

My thoughts matter not.

Two major sect leaders are dead. We've fulfilled our leader's orders.

Yet the Hero Token remains elusive.

Let's go back. Xiao Xilou and Sun Huishan still hold secrets.

(Heaven finds its clarity. Earth attains its stillness)

Well?

Even Liu Suifeng's efforts yielded nothing.

The Hero Token indeed isn't with the Xiaos.

Then it must lie with Power Gang.

Qiushui,

after having your martial arts crippled,

I'm guessing

You should be cautious.

Okay.

Masters Tianzheng and Taichan's bodies...

They were taken back to Central Plains by their disciples yesterday.

What about Mr. Qu?

The Qu sisters are overwhelmed by grief

and are resting at the post station with his remains.

They all died helping our family.

I should be the one seeing them off.

Don't worry, Qiushui. I'll handle the Qu family affairs.

Please make the trip then, Qiu.

Qiushui,

But they fear Power Gang might return.

So they'll come collect bodies in two days.

We can't wait two days in this heat.

They fought and died for us.

How could I sleep without proper burial rites?

Qiushui, we'll help you.

Father, Mother, I don't know

if I'm worthy to call you that.

(Spirit Tablet of Sun Huishan)

(Spirit Tablet of Xiao Xilou)

Because I'm not really Xiao Qiushui.

Your son Xiao Qiushui

is supposed to be an upright martial hero.

I've fantasized countless times

about becoming the protagonist of a martial epic.

But when the moment came,

I realized I'm utterly unworthy.

Mother, do you know?

When I first entered this world,

I thought I could save everyone.

(Spirit Tablet of Sun Huishan)

I considered myself so clever.

Knowing the story's plot in advance,

I believed I could change everyone's fate.

Yet I changed nothing.

It was just my arrogance.

I was so prideful and conceited.

Now I've made everything worse.

The original Xiao Qiushui

would never have his martial arts destroyed.

If he were here, he could have sought revenge.

But I've ruined even that.

I'm a complete failure.
