Donald J Trump is back in the White House.

But this time, he's doing it his way, conducting his presidency

entirely in front of the TV cameras.

As he plays the starring role in the greatest political

soap opera in history, it's the first TV show that

affects all our lives and the whole world is watching.

This is gonna be great television, I will say that.

Last week there was a terrible event with the appalling

assassination of a high-profile political figure and close

ally of Donald Trump.

As the news broke, people across America were clearly

shocked and devastated.

So, this just happened.

We just found out that Charlie Kirk got shot.

It's BLEEP awful.

And is he dead?

Murdered for having a different opinion from somebody else.

Yeah.

Different ideology from somebody else.

Charlie was a patriot who devoted his life to the cause

of open debate and the country that he loved so much.

This is a dark moment for America.

It was eight months ago that Donald Trump returned to power.

And on the day after his inauguration, he went to church.

As a country, we have gathered this

morning to pray for unity, as a people and a nation.

Without unity, we're building our nation's house on sand.

Mr President, millions have put their trust in you,

and as you told the nation yesterday, you have

felt the providential hand of a loving God.

In the name of our God, I ask you to have mercy

upon the people in our country who are scared now.

There are gay, lesbian, and transgender children

in Democratic, Republican, and independent families,

some who fear for their lives.

And the people, the people who pick our crops

and clean our office buildings, who labour in poultry farms

and meat packing plants, who wash the dishes after we eat

in restaurants, and work the night shifts in hospitals,

they may not be citizens or have the proper documentation,

but the vast majority of immigrants are not criminals.

They pay taxes and are good neighbours.

I ask you to have mercy, Mr President, on those

in our communities whose children fear that their parents will be

taken away, and that you help those who are fleeing warzones

and persecution in their own lands, to find compassion and welcome here.

Our God teaches us that we are to be merciful to the stranger,

for we were all once strangers in this land.

Sir, this next executive order, pardons and commutations relating

to events that occurred on January sixth, 2021.

It's his first day in office.

He's signing an executive order to set free all the people locked up

for rioting at the Capitol when he had to give up

the job the last time.

So, this is January 6th, and these are the hostages,

approximately 1,500, for a pardon.

So, this is a big one.

Anything you wanna explain about this?

We hope to get 'em...

We hope they come out tonight, frankly.

Should there be punishment for the people

who assaulted law enforcement officers that day?

Well, I will say this, they've been in jail

for a long time already.

I see murderers in this country get two years,

one year, or maybe no time.

Now he's got a second crack of the whip, he ain't waiting

for approval from Congress.

He's gonna use his presidential authority.

And Donald is signing more executive orders on his first day than any

president in history.

Mr President, what was it like walking

into the Oval Office this evening?

What a great feeling.

One of the better feelings I've ever had.

What's this one?

Why don't you say what I'm signing?

The first item that President Trump is signing is the rescission of 78

Biden-era executive orders, presidential memoranda, and others.

In his first three weeks in office, he signs

63 executive orders, laws he believes will make

America great again.

I'll sign an executive order to ban men

from competing in women's sports.

I wanna make this a really good signature.

President Trump saying he wants to deny funding

for what he calls improper ideology.

Next, this is an executive order relating to the

use of paper straws.

They break, they explode, they don't last very

long, like a matter of minutes.

Sometimes a matter of seconds.

It's a ridiculous situation.

Are you not gonna comply with it?

I'm complying with state federal law.

Of course, there are some voices of dissent.

You better comply, otherwise you're not getting

any federal funding.

Every state - good, I'll see you in court.

I look forward to that.

That should be a real easy one.

And it don't take long for folks to get real riled

about Donald's way of doing things.

We will not accept authoritarianism.

What situation is the country in?

You're in a dictatorship.

Think about this next time you're stuck in traffic.

But Donald don't mind the criticism.

I was saved by God to make America great again.

You remind me of the great Roman emperor,

Constantine the Great.

I didn't know that was going to happen, but I'll take it.

And ask any Caesar how to rule an empire,

they'll all tell you the same thing: keep your barbarians at the gates.

This next executive order, guaranteeing the state's

protection against invasion, based on the current crisis

at the southern border.

It invokes various executive powers relating to the ongoing invasion

at the southern border.

So, there's definitely one order that matters

to him and all those folks who voted for him.

People have wanted to do this for years.

Stopping illegal immigration and kicking out folks who have

no right to be here.

It's going to happen, has to happen, or we're not gonna

have a country left.

Governor Noem, please stand and raise your right hand.

And for this particular battle, he needs

a trusted lieutenant.

..will be the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth.

in 1990, Kristi Noem was crowned South

Dakota's "Snow Queen."

Then, after her daddy Ron died following a grain bin accident,

she took over the family farm.

She once shot dead her 14-month-old puppy,

Cricket, for being disobedient.

Now she's protecting America from illegal aliens.

I think when people first heard my name

nominated for the Department of Homeland Security,

maybe thought it was a little bit of a surprise, like,

"Oh, I didn't think about Kristi doing that job."

But I knew that it

needed to have someone in the position that would do

what the President promised the American people,

would be strong enough to do it, and follow through,

to make sure that we're protecting our communities

and America, and would be able to stand up and communicate

to the American people what we were doing and why we were,

because it's what they asked us to do.

Kristi and Donald have a plan.

They've scored a great deal with a small country 3,000 miles

away called El Salvador.

If you're a suspected criminal and you don't

have the right paperwork, this could be where you're headed.

Kristi's come to check out the facilities.

..here at Cecot today and visiting this facility,

and first of all I wanna thank El Salvador and their president

for their partnership with the United States of America,

to bring our terrorists here, and to incarcerate them,

and have consequences for the violence that they have

perpetuated in our communities.

Kristi's deportation flights to El Salvador

are already under way.

And there's plenty of room.

Reminds me a little of The Squid Game except there's no

grand prize at the end.

If you come to our country illegally,

this is one of the consequences you could face.

You will be removed, and you will be prosecuted.

This facility is one of the tools in our toolkit that we will use

if you commit crimes against the American people.

This is a very important room, very powerful room.

It's a sacred place.

The only question is, will I gold leaf the corners?

You could maybe tell me - my cabinet could take a vote.

Donald's been spending time rummaging in the White House vaults,

A one-termer, but he was a very good president.

George Washington, right behind the light.

And then you have Dwight Eisenhower.

He was the toughest president, I guess, until we came along.

He was very strong at the borders.

Very, very strong.

You may be wondering how Donald is stacking up

against all those presidents of the past.

Some folks think he could be one of the greats.

Others are less than impressed.

And at the northern border, a rebellion has been brewing.

This guy, Attorney General for Washington State,

is fighting back against one of those executive orders

from a court in Seattle.

What we're facing right now is a Trump

administration breaking the law, violating the United

States constitution.

And he ain't the only one.

From Washington to Oregon, Arizona to Illinois.

Judges from all around the country are starting to block Donald's

executive orders and it's on the news.

A federal judge issuing a new nationwide order blocking

President Trump's attempt to end birth right citizenship.

We're standing up to protect our citizens

from an out-of-control president, who wants to be a king.

President Trump, we are watching you.

In Illinois, we don't take kindly to threats,

and in Illinois, we fight back.

This isn't just about Illinois.

It's about every American having the right to be heard.

Now is the time for fighters to be bold, unflinching, and fearless,

as we stand up for our democracy.

And Donald ain't amused.

In recent months, we've seen a handful of radical left

judges effectively try to overrule the rightful powers

of the president, and we've been hit with more nationwide injunctions

than were issued in the entire 20th century together.

Think of it, more than the entire 20th century, me.

Donald's Press Secretary, Karoline Leavitt, has already fired

a shot to cross the bows of the press corps for how

they've been reporting.

Good afternoon, everybody.

I would like to address an extremely dishonest narrative that we've seen

emerging over the past few days.

Many outlets in this room have been fearmongering the American

people into believing there is a constitutional

crisis taking place here at the White House.

But in fact, the real constitutional crisis is taking place

within our judicial branch.

Quick newsflash to these liberal judges who are supporting

their obstructionist efforts: 77 million Americans voted

to elect this president, and each injunction is an abuse

of the rule of law, and an attempt to thwart the will of the people.

Kristi Noem has been out on the road.

And today she's on patrol with US immigration and customs

enforcement, or ICE.

You're gonna go home.

And you're gonna get prosecuted.

She's aiming to arrest over 1,000 illegal aliens every day.

Everybody who's in this country that's committing crimes

and has broken our laws and is here illegally,

we'll be sweeping them up faster than we ever have before.

I have three kids.

Then go deal with the consequences of breaking the law here.

Give them a good example of being a better person.

We are now coming after you criminally.

That means we can come into your home and get you,

charge you, and remove you.

You might think these people would have some rights

but to bypass all that, as well as those portraits,

Donald had found an old wartime law in the vaults from 1798.

The Trump administration must work to bring back a Maryland

man who was mistakenly deported to prison in El Salvador.

On March 12th, my husband Kilmar was abducted

and disappeared by the Trump Administration.

A 29-year-old man with no criminal convictions has

wound up in El Salvador.

It seems he might have connections to the notorious MS13 gang.

That shouldn't be enough to get him deported but as far

as Donald's concerned, it is.

Kilmar Abrego Garcia is an illegal

alien, MS13 gang member, and foreign terrorist.

And just this morning, it was revealed through Maryland

court documents that Abrego Garcia's wife petitioned for an order

of protection against him for two instances of domestic violence

in May of 2021.

President Trump is confident that he's got evidence that connects

Garcia to the MS13 gang.

You can see the president holding a photo

of the man's tattoos.

Apparently, his tattoos link him to MS13.

But...

See there, M-S-1-3.

They've been added on the computer to show what they think

each tattoo means.

Seems like someone forgot to tell Donald and he thinks M-S-1-3

are actual tattoos.

Your government sent him back to El Salvador,

and now the Supreme Court has upheld an order that you must return him

to facilitate his return to the United States.

This is a MS13 gang member.

He said he wasn't a member of a gang, and then they looked

and on his knuckles, he had "'MS13'.

At the White House, Karoline's been tackling one of Donald's oldest

bugbears for a while now - journalists that don't play ball.

the White House Correspondents' Association, has long dictated

which journalists get to ask questions of the President

of the United States.

Not any more.

This administration is shaking up Washington in more ways than one.

That's what we were elected to do.

As I have said since the first day behind this podium, it's beyond time

that the White House press operation reflects the media habits

of the American people in 2025, not 1925.

A select group of DC-based journalists should no longer

have a monopoly over the privilege of press access at the White House.

Asking the President of the United States questions

is a privilege that unfortunately has only been granted to a few.

It is not a legal right for all.

The old-style media are persona non grata.

In fact, Karoline is even banning journalists who she believes ain't

sticking to the facts.

There's even rumours that Donald ain't happy with the number

of deportations and wants arrests ramped up.

They are not legally allowed to take her.

We are here to prevent that from happening.

At Fort Bragg, Donald's busy rallying the troops.

What you're witnessing in California is a full-blown assault on peace,

on public order and on national sovereignty carried out by rioters

bearing foreign flags.

Generations of army heroes did not shed their blood on distant shores,

only to watch our country be destroyed by invasion

and third-world lawlessness here at home, like is happening in

California.

As Commander-in-Chief, I will not let that happen,

it's never gonna happen.

Under the Trump Administration, this anarchy will not stand.

We will not allow federal agents to be attacked,

and we will not allow an American city to be invaded and conquered

by a foreign enemy.

I've deployed thousands of National Guard troops

and hundreds of Marines to protect federal law enforcement

from the attacks of a vicious and violent mob.

We will not be deterred, and the mob in Los Angeles will not

succeed, so help me God.

REPORTER: President Donald Trump is deploying some 2,000

California National Guard troops to Los Angeles.

The clashes came after immigration agents caried

out a series of sweeps.

Donald's decision to deploy the National Guard is getting

pushback from elected leaders across the country including

California's Senator, Alex Padilla.

The vast majority of protesters and demonstrators are peaceful.

They're passionate about defending fundamental rights.

Sadly, there are folks who will exploit the situation -

so the vandalism, the violence, that has no place.

For months Donald's been cooking something up.

He's spending $30 million on a parade in Washington DC to mark

he has at his disposal.

he is firing Fed Governor Lisa Cook.

This is the first time a President has fired

a Fed Governor in the central bank's 111-year history.

That includes enemies past and present.

After what they did to me, and whether it's right or wrong,

it's time to go after people.

REPORTER: He's purging the federal government of people

he considers disloyal.

And if you criticise Donald, the FBI could even come knocking.

REPORTER: FBI agents searching the home and office of former

ambassador John Bolton.

Of course there's been a little civil unrest,

but there's plenty who have always backed Donald to the hilt.

He's being responsive to the problems that

Americans are facing.

The White House has become a very different place

since Donald came to power, and it's not all

through interior design.

This name change is not just about renaming.

He's decided to rename his defence department.

We're gonna go on offence, not just on defence.

We're gonna raise up warriors, not just defenders.

They're part of the Trump administration's push to bring

so-called new media into the White House.

This is the first day where a sitting president put

America's working class first.

As America continues to know what President Trump is doing

a dictator, he's a dictator."

A lot of people are saying, "Maybe we'd like a dictator."

Heading out to golf one morning, Donald clocked just how many

homeless folks there were.

And as if that wasn't bad enough, remember this guy?

REPORTER: The 19-year-old former Dogestaffer known as Big Balls

was beaten by a violent mob of minors in the nation's capital,

in a popular part of town, according to police.

Big Balls attacked just blocks from the White House?

Donald was having none of it.

A former member of the Doge staff was savagely beaten

by a band of roving thugs, after defending a young woman

from an attempted carjacking.

He was left dripping in blood, he thought he was dead,

with a broken nose and concussion.

Can't believe that he's alive, he can't believe it.

I'm announcing a historic action to rescue our nation's capital
