So I came out when I was 17.

At the time, I came
out, like, on Facebook.

And I had-- I remember it
was a meme like, true life,

I'm bisexual.

And so I posted that.

A lot of times, gays come out
as bisexual or even planning

on being bisexual
because they're actually

scared to fully be themselves.

So for me, I never wanted
to come out as bisexual.

I was just trying to get
my foot through the door

as being gay.

So I-- as just growing into
being me and being myself,

I started exploring into girl
clothes, just being myself.

On top of me being a bad kid,
skipping school, smoking weed,

doing what I
wanted to do, being

rebellious, being feminine
and being flamboyant

was just a lot.

And so after I graduated, my
mom was like, you got to go.

I just seen the
different struggles

of what we have to go through.

I'm grateful that me and
my mom are in a place

that we're in
today, but she was

the reason why I was homeless.

This is going to
show that you just

have to love your
kids unconditionally,

no matter if they're straight,
trans, bisexual, green or polka

dot, because being
rejected from your parents

just because of who you love
is so heartbreaking and

so dangerous.

Can you tell me the turning
point for you when you realized

that you-- you have
healed enough to be able

to go and talk to your child?

Because a lot of
times in community,

we never hear the messaging
coming from the parents, right?

But would it look like for you?
