[A Forbidden Marriage]

[Episode 7]

Miss Lu,

could you please take Miss Yang and Uncle Zhang

somewhere safe?

I owe you one.

Yang Qing, I...

Go!

Come with me!

Yang Qing!

Did Tong...

get killed by that lunatic just now?

No, he wouldn't.

The one who tried to kill me just now

was the Fire Hall Master from Shengyue Sect.

He was...

He was after me.

Besides, the Shengyue Sect forbids its disciples

from harming women, children, the elderly, or the weak.

Tong's disappearance

shouldn't have anything to do with him.

Then where is Tong?

No, I must go find her.

Uncle Zhang.

We've searched everywhere we could.

Searching aimlessly now would be pointless.

Please stay home.

I've already sent other disciples of our sect

to gather information.

If Tong's really gone,

what's the point of me, an old man,

living alone?

No, I have to find her.

Uncle Zhang!

Miss Lu, put down your sword.

Yunmen will see

the disappearance case through to the end.

Uncle Zhang, I'll go with you.

But Mr. Yang,

your injuries...

I'm fine.

It's getting late.

Let's split up and search.

All right.

You two stay here

and wait for us.

I want to go with you.

You don't know martial arts or the way.

What if you run into the Fire Hall Master?

He can't hurt me.

Mr. Yang is right.

You'd only be a burden if you went.

You should stay here and wait for us to come back.

I'm skilled in martial arts and lightness techniques.

I'll go help.

You? Come on.

Grandpa, I'm back!

Grandpa!

Grandpa!

I'm back!

Tong!

Grandpa!

Are you okay?

Are you alright?

I'm fine.

That's good.

Qing, Wangyue, you're here to see me?

Alright, let's go inside.

Tong, you're finally back.

Come, I'll make you something delicious.

Thank goodness Tong is safe.

Otherwise I...

You can't run around like that anymore.

Or else what?

You're just a village girl who knows nothing,

yet you dare to talk big.

What's wrong with being a village girl?

Yang Qing likes having me, a village girl, by his side.

Enough.

It's getting late.

The Fire Hall Master probably hasn't gone far.

I also need time to recover from my internal injury.

We'll stay here tonight.

Miss Lu, thank you for your help today.

If there's nothing else,

please head back early tomorrow morning,

so Chief Lu won't worry about you.

I promised Mr. Jiang

I'd take good care of you.

If I go back alone,

it might not be appropriate.

Don't worry and go ahead.

Jiang Yan certainly won't do anything to you.

I won't leave

unless I personally

escort Mr. Yang back to the inn.

You? Escort Yang Qing?

With your martial skills,

he'll be the one protecting you.

That's still better than a village girl who knows nothing.

You...

Alright.

This place is a bit rough.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

Mr. Yang,

you're severely weakened and need nourishment.

I made some pork rib soup for you.

Thank you, Miss Lu.

It's too salty. Take it away.

Yang Qing can only eat light food right now.

Miss Yang, why are you here

to see Mr. Yang so late at night?

If I hadn't come,

how would I have known

just how shameless some people are?

Yang Qing is injured and needs to rest early.

You should head back.

Go.

Mr. Yang,

-I'll bring you some soup another day! -Just go!

Yang Qing,

I have a question for you.

In Yunmen Sect, is it forbidden

for people of different generations to be together?

I suppose so.

You suppose so?

Give me a clear answer.

In our sect, we value ethics and strict seniority.

Any two people

of different seniority levels

are not allowed to be together.

But it's not absolute.

Some people just enjoy pushing boundaries

and testing how much others can tolerate.

I think

that's quite interesting.

How can you find that interesting?

You mustn't think it's interesting!

You're the pillar of Yunmen,

a model of righteousness—

how could you have such terrible thoughts?

Even though Lu Xuanxuan isn't from your sect,

in terms of seniority, she's still your junior.

You absolutely must not fall for her.

If you do,

you would bring shame to Yunmen.

So you think that

she and I...

Why are you laughing?

I'm being completely serious here!

Don't worry.

I just find it interesting.

I never said I wanted to break the rules

and just let loose.

That's right.

If you want to like a girl,

there are plenty of options—

like...

Like me.

Don't worry.

I've never had these

unrealistic thoughts.

No need to use yourself as an example.

Just pretend you didn't hear the first part.

But you can think about

the second part—me.

Miss Yang,

could you consider letting me off?

You think about it, and I'll think about it.

Let's think about it together,

okay?

Not okay.

Last time you said

I stirred up your feelings.

Of course, I can't give up.

Really?

Did I say that?

You must have dreamed it.

No.

Last time when you were drunk, you said that deep down, you already…

Words said drunk

can't be taken seriously.

When I was drunk,

I even told our sect leader I liked him.

What?

You actually like that old man Feng?

That's disgusting!

Miss Yang,

what's wrong?

Why the long face?

The disappearance case hasn't been solved yet.

Yang Qing can't eat or sleep well every day,

so of course I'm upset too.

It was my fault.

I insisted Mr. Yang go find Tong.

It wasn't.

It was our bad luck.

Yang Qing is injured right now.

I originally wanted to lure the Fire Hall Master away

and let Yang Qing leave first,

but he refused to let me go.

Exactly.

You don't know martial arts.

What if you had fallen into the hands of the Fire Hall Master?

Wouldn't that be perfect?

If I had ended up in his hands,

he would definitely have panicked.

As long as he joins up with the Yunmen people

and saves me before I get hurt,

he will definitely start caring about me.

Just saying.

Uncle Zhang, don't take it seriously.

The fish has taken the bait.

Young Chief.

What is it?

I have something important to report.

Say it.

The caravan carrying the offerings

will reach Biluo Valley within a day.

Okay. Be careful.

The Chief said

you're to personally escort

the offerings back.

If I leave suddenly,

who's going to keep Yang Qing occupied?

We'll depart tonight.

By the time Yang Qing realizes,

the offerings should already be back in the valley.

Okay then.

I'll go with you.

Oh right,

have you heard of the Fire Hall Master of Shengyue Sect?

His name is Mingyang.

He's extremely skilled in martial arts.

He was the only one to escape when Shengyue Sect was wiped out.

Since then, he's been saying

he wants to avenge Wang Yue, the Witch,

and sees all martial sects as enemies.

You cunning village girl!

She may look kind,

but she's full of tricks.

She let me hear all that on purpose,

just to use my feelings for Yang Qing

to send me to my death!

If anything really happens to me,

there's no way she's getting off easy.

Which village girl dared to set you up?

I'll kill her.

No need.

If there's nothing else, you may go now.

Yes.

Tong, go play outside.

I need to talk to Wangyue.

Well, Wangyue, I'll go play outside then.

Go ahead.

Miss Lu has left.

Really? That's wonderful.

Do you dare say you had nothing to do with it?

Why are you talking to me like this?

Are you blaming me for this too?

This morning when I went out,

I found this letter at the door.

I've heard about your injury recently and have been very worried.

How serious is it? Are you alright?

After much consideration,

I've decided to lure the Fire Hall Master away on my own.

Please take care and wait for good news.

She went to distract the Fire Hall Master—

what does that have to do with me?

Sure, it might seem like a coincidence.

But when it involves you,

it's not.

You think I made her do it?

Just answer my questions.

Did you deliberately bring up

the Fire Hall Master to her?

No.

I told Uncle Zhang.

Maybe he told her.

You're not one to gossip.

So why did you mention it to him?

Because I felt like it.

Didn't you tell her yourself?

Yang Wangyue!

I know you two don't get along.

Then just stay away from her.

You knew exactly how skilled Mingyang is in martial arts.

You knew Miss Lu is no match for him.

Yet you still pushed her to her death.

You treat life like it's nothing.

The moment someone crosses you,

you strike like this.

I'm so disappointed in you.

You're ruthless and cruel— unworthy of trust.

Have I not restrained myself enough?

Have I not tolerated her?

You know perfectly well what I'm like.

So why didn't you help me drive her away?

Yes, it's all my fault.

How could I not have thought of this?

How could I ever have believed that

you wouldn't kill on a whim?

How could I...

how could I...

ever have trusted you?

You want revenge for her, don't you?

She's probably

already been killed by the Fire Hall Master.

Go ahead and kill me!

Just go.

[How I Got My Husband]

Qing,

Shengyue Sect is not a kind place after all.

Fu was careless and got captured by Shengyue Sect.

We haven't heard from her since.

You must not put yourself in danger.

My martial arts are better than hers.

Most people in Shengyue Sect are no match for me.

Once I get there,

I'll do everything I can to retrieve

the Moon Blade that fell into their hands.

Besides,

rumors about me and that witch

have been swirling around the martial world.

If Shengyue Sect

is truly using this to brew some grand conspiracy,

I must get to the bottom of it.

Just...

be careful of that witch.

Don't let her fool you.

If you weren't so determined to go,

I'd never let you wade into this mess.

The Moon Blade was lost years ago.

Someone has to retrieve it

before it's used by those with ill intent.

As for the witch…

rest assured, Sect Leader.

I won't fail Yunmen.

Alright.

Yang Qing?

I never thought

Do we have a deal?

Deal.

Then you shall be called...

Shanxiu.

Shanxiu?

Are these...

the Lu family women went to Yunlong Temple to pay respects but encountered bandits.

Unexpectedly, the Lu family

accusing them of losing their virtue.

They even forced them to kill themselves to uphold their honor.

One of them, not thinking clearly,

killed herself on the spot.

Why were you looking at me like that just now?

Are you new here?

What?

You were surprised I'd save people?

He's mute?

Yue,

what are you going to do about this?

They were probably too ashamed

to admit they were taken by a few bandits,

so they blamed it on Shengyue Sect.

I didn't expect saving them

would bring me so much trouble.
