So for stimulation, you're basically

injecting the hormones
by yourself at home, it's very easy.

So basically,
you’ll be given the medication until you fall sleep,

but not like the general anesthesia
that you may experience in the operation theatre.

In the very short time of anesthesia

that you will be having, we will put in

the ultrasound probe and then there will be
a needle on top of it.

- So we will go through the vagina.

How do you know?

The needle will basically go through the vagina

and into the ovaries,
and then we will collect the eggs.

So under the ultrasound guidance,
we will know that we are actually

inside the follicles

and then the fluid collected in the test tube,
we will pass to the embryologists.

So they will check if there is any eggs
under the microscope.

So basically the whole procedure, it will
last around 10 to 12, 10 to 15 minutes.

- It won't last long.
- That’s good.

Okay? But because you are under the monitor
of anesthetic care, you have to be at rest

for 2 hours after.
And then after 2 hours, you're good to go.

And then we will see about how
many eggs there are, and let you know the day after.

And if it's all good, you can actually freeze them.

What if it's not good enough?

- Does she have to do it again?
- Yeah.

We will have to do another cycle.

So you won't know if the eggs are good
until you draw them out.

Yes, we have to look under
the microscope we can't see them with the eye.
