In 2019, Brandon Fugal,

the owner of Skinwalker Ranch,

invited me to meet with him

and his team
in Salt Lake City, Utah,

to see if I would be interested
in joining

their investigation
of the property.

BRANDON:
Thank you for coming together.

This is the most unique
science project of its kind.

TRAVIS:
I was intrigued
by all the crazy rumors

about paranormal
and UFO activity there,

but I was also struck

that someone like Brandon
would be involved

given his background.

That sounds exciting

-and maybe even
a little bit scary, right?
-Right.

I'm Brandon Fugal,
chairman and owner

of the largest commercial
real estate enterprise

here in Utah.

I'm also an investor
and cofounder

of other enterprises
involving technology,

but I am looking
for the nature of the universe

and asking
some of these core questions.

Are we alone?

I truly believe
that Skinwalker Ranch

is a place
where some of these questions

may be answered

or at least better understood.

Well, so, one question I have is

why is it called
Skinwalker Ranch?

What is the-the lore of it,
right?

Well, it's a phenomenon
is what it is.

-It goes back hundreds of years.
-BRANDON: Native Americans

talk of shape-shifting
demonic entities

called skinwalkers
that take on the form

of a-a large
werewolf-like creature

and also a number
of other shapes.

Wow.

It turns out
that in the 19th century,

members of the Indigenous Ute
and Navajo nations in the region

had a bitter feud,

and the Navajo cursed the land,

giving rise to the legend

of evil, wolflike shape-shifters
known as skinwalkers.

But that was only the beginning

of what people
have claimed to experience

on and near the ranch.

As early as 1911,

newspaper reports

profiled strange noises
in the basin,

and the homesteaders

started seeing
unexplained phenomena.

And by 1979,

there were
a lot of UFO sightings

in the basin being documented.

And then the Sherman family,

in 1992,

acquired the property
and were witness

to some of the most disturbing
events on record.

Cattle mutilations.

We're talking

very surgically precise
dissections

of these cattle.

Wow.

BRANDON:
In 1996,

the reports
of the Sherman family

led billionaire Robert Bigelow
to acquire the property

and to commence an unprecedented
scientific study.

Bigelow came in with his team,

National Institute
of Discovery Science or NIDS,

that transitioned

to Bigelow Aerospace
Advanced Space Studies,

which was funded
by the U.S. government

and kept highly confidential.

In 2016,
I purchased Skinwalker Ranch

and assembled our team to carry
this investigation forward

into the next level.

The team members I met that day

are great guys

and are very diversified
in their skill sets.

Bryant Arnold,
also known as Dragon,

runs security

and was initially
quite a skeptic

of all the phenomena.

Jim Morse, the ranch manager,
does a lot of community outreach

to those who've also had
strange experiences.

Erik Bard serves
as the principal investigator

at Skinwalker Ranch, and he has

a wide variety
of scientific knowledge.

-THOMAS: We've noticed

that when we bring

new people onto the ranch,

the ranch behaves differently
than it normally does.

It's just a place, right?
I mean...

And then there's
the ranch superintendent,

Thomas Winterton.

Back in 2016,

he found out firsthand

that a legend warning
never to disturb the ground

on Skinwalker Ranch
might have some merit.

I had been warned not to dig
on this ranch,

which I thought
was absolutely ridiculous.

So I paid zero attention to it,

and I ended up

getting very, very sick,
hospitalized.

I had fluid that separated
the fatty tissue from my skull,

and to this day,

my doctors still haven't come up
with an explanation.

TRAVIS:
I was intrigued enough
to accept Brandon's invitation.

But I got to tell you,
I figured there had to be

a logical,
scientific explanation

for all the reported phenomena.

Within my first hour there,

the guys took me to see
the three-square-acre mesa

known as Skinwalker Ridge.

So, is this where the glow was
from the video?

That's right. There's about
a 500 to 600-footlong section

of this mesa.

TRAVIS:
It was a spot

where Erik
had previously captured video

of a possible UAP

and a large section
mysteriously illuminated

in the middle of the night.

You ought to check
your TriField meter,

see what it's doing.

I'm getting a little tone
from it.

-ERIK: Whoa.

TRAVIS:
Let me see that thing.

Whoa, whoa, it's gone up.

Incredibly, we suddenly detected

potentially dangerous spikes
of RF radiation

at the ground level...

Let's go up the mountain
and see what happens.

...and then even more
up on top of it.

-Oh!

And it's shifted now. Now it's
coming from that direction.

So, I get my biggest readings
when I'm like this, looking up.

TRAVIS:
We continued detecting
more RF radiation spikes

across the ranch.

It's coming from up there.

TRAVIS:
And incredibly,

they all pointed to one spot:

a zone
about a mile above the ranch

at a location
that has come to be known

as the triangle.

So, we are ready to launch.

To find out
what could be going on up there,

we fired rockets containing
radiation and GPS sensors

up at the triangle
from the helipad

right by the command center.
Ignition.

-Holy smokes!
-Oh, yeah!

SEGALA:
Look at the cows.

[mooing]

BRYANT:
That's crazy.

Never seen that before.

-THOMAS: Look! Look, look, look!
-ERIK: What is that?

-What is that?
-TRAVIS: We got...
We got something. Hold on.

It was stunning.

A UAP not only appeared
in the sky

but the cattle on the ranch

seemed to sense it
before we did.

-THOMAS: It's gone.
-And then
just a few weeks later,

something
truly disturbing happened.

-[flies buzzing]
-What in the world?

There's no cat tracks.

There's no sign of struggle.

-KANDUS: In the middle
of the day.
-It's just dead.

I saw her this morning,
but she was alive.

TRAVIS:
Right near that same area,

one of the young, healthy cows

suddenly died.

-Look at this.
Feel-feel my phone.
-Look at this.

It's going vibrate to mute,
vibrate to mute like crazy.

Holy crap.

When we went to investigate,

both Thomas's and Kaleb Bench's
phones went haywire.

My phone starts freaking out

whenever your TriField goes off.

I don't have any control
over my phone right now.

-Gee, look at that.
Look at this. Hey, is it...
-Is it still doing it?

Is it five? It's 18.

It just jumped to 18 just then.

And another dangerous spike
of radiation

registered on our meters.

Oh, wow.

We need to get out of here,
guys.

We had no explanation
for what happened to the cow

or what caused the radiation.

But then we met
with Linda Moulton Howe

to review surveillance footage
that captured the cow's death.

We were shocked by what we saw.

THOMAS:
Is that black object the cow?

ERIK:
Yeah, that's it, Tom.

The cow is right here.

What we'll do is

go forward very slowly
and watch what happens with her.

-Now, you see the cow
starts to get up.
-HOWE: Yeah.

ERIK:
So, here,

I can't help but also notice

that there's something
happening here.

-TRAVIS: Oh, whoa. Look at that.
-BRANDON: Yeah, there it was.
Up there.

Look at that.

The moment
that that object appeared

above the cow,

the cow was reacting.

Yes.

THOMAS:
What was this craft

doing out there,

and why at the very time
this cow was dying

was this craft seen in the sky?

BRANDON:
We very well
could have prevented

a full-blown cattle mutilation
from occurring.

-Yeah, it's a possibility.
-It's a possibility.

I feel strongly

where there are mutilations,

where there are UFOs,

you're going to find

that there are magnetic
anomalies. They go together.

Wow.

I think
we're dealing with portals.

I think we are dealing
with advanced technology

that has been hidden.

I didn't know what to think
of Linda's theory

that the cow's death,
the radiation spikes or the UFO

could be related to portals.

But we experienced much more
along those lines

at a location
known as Homestead Two.

And there, we didn't have
to worry about the cows.

We had to worry about us.

-Erik, are you doing
something at 1.6?

TRAVIS: Over the past three
years, one of the places

on Skinwalker Ranch
where we've seen and felt

the most bizarre phenomena
happen

is at Homestead Two.

It was built in 1905
by John and Emma Myers,

who lived there
and raised cattle,

but it's been abandoned
since the 1930s,

and I've come to understand why.

I was looking
around the homestead

with a fellow scientist,
Dr. Jim Segala,

and became very curious
about an old covered cistern.

What the crap is that?

It's filled with something.

SEGALA:
Seriously polluted.

I don't know,
I got a little bit of a headache

or something happening.

I don't know where it came from,

but as soon as I lifted
that lid,

I was overcome with dizziness
and a headache.

Maybe we should check
our dosimeters or whatever.

SEGALA:
Yeah.

-[beeping]
-TRAVIS: Holy cr...
Mine's beeping.

-Your max dose rate
is about 120?
-Yeah.

-It's 120-something.
-That's pretty high.

TRAVIS:
Turns out

I got hit with radiation
that was equivalent

to about 20,000
airport security X-rays

all at once that left burns
on my hand and my face.

TOM:
So, how does it feel right now

to be back here?

It's a little...
I'm a little nervous,

-not, not...
You know, to be honest.
-TOM: Yeah.

TRAVIS: Another disturbing
incident happened in 2020

when a local resident
named Roland McCook

told Jim Morse
and ranch caretakers

Tom Lewis
and Kandus Linde

about an experience he had

many years ago at Homestead Two
while hunting on the property.

ROLAND:
We were looking for tracks.

We noticed
there were human footprints.

And I followed

the tracks, and then
all of a sudden it turned

from human footprints
to a big dog tracks.

Like a wolf.

And it came out. Red eyes.

Probably, like, eight feet tall.

Whatever it is
doesn't belong here.

Roland's story
sounded incredible,

but he was so sincere about it.

Did he really encounter
a skinwalker?

We don't know,
but what happened moments later

was definitely real.

Hold on.

-Yeah. You okay? Hey.
-Mm.

TRAVIS:
Just like what happened
to me and others,

Roland was clearly affected
by a strange energy spike

or something
we still don't understand

at Homestead Two.

Around that same time,

retired Army Colonel
John Alexander,

one of the principle
investigators

who worked for Robert Bigelow,

not only shared a crazy story
of his own

but also offered a theory

of what is causing the phenomena
at Homestead Two.

JOHN:
One of the things that really

stand out in my mind

is that, uh,

the observers
are on the ridgeline,

uh, to the north

and looking down
upon Homestead Two,

and they see a-a spot of light

that expands.

And something came out,
about six-foot tall.

I would say

the area is a portal.

PETE:
This piece of gear
I have with me is

a SLAM-based scanner
called a Hovermap.

TRAVIS:
To test Colonel Alexander's
theory, we invited

technologist Pete Kelsey out

to help us conduct
an infrared lidar scan

of Homestead Two.

ERIK:
Okay, I'm gonna go
inside of this.

I'm gonna poke my head
back here.

I don't mind telling you
this place is creepy.

TRAVIS:
Well, let's
kind of walk through it

and see if we see anything.

-Oh, wow.
-Whoa, what is that?

THOMAS: I mean,
that's not a data point, right?

There should be a lot more
data points right there

with the two rooms.
I mean, you walked in there.

TRAVIS:
Something odd happened here.

What happened
to all this data right here?

Where is it?

Can't explain it.

TRAVIS:
It's like there's data missing.

The SLAM scan lidar data
is showing

the foliage and the outlines
of the buildings,

but where we should be seeing

the inside of the main house,

it's just a black hole.

-How you doing, Ariel?
Good to see you.
-How you doing, brother?

TRAVIS:
When the scientific approach

left us with only more questions
about Homestead Two

and the theory
of a portal existing there,

we invited Rabbi Ariel Tzadok

to try
a more unorthodox experiment.

[Ariel praying]

TRAVIS:
While Rabbi Tzadok
performed an ancient prayer

that was supposed
to open portals

to other realms, we monitored

with our spectrum analyzer

and a thermal
night vision camera.

[finishes prayer]

TRAVIS:
Erik, come here a minute.

THOMAS:
You seeing something?

ERIK:
I have not seen this
do this before.

TRAVIS:
It shouldn't have changed
that drastically

all of a sudden.

The FLIR imagery
completely changed.

It's like the canopy
of the trees was superhot.

And then everything underneath
it where the house is...

Look at it.
It's just completely cold.

A circular vortex

with a 20-degree
temperature drop

appeared in front of
the abandoned house

right where Pete Kelsey's data
showed that black hole.

And then
when Erik further analyzed

the thermal data, we saw
something even more startling.

I don't know what to make of it,

but I want you
to see this thing.

It only happens once.
It's very fast.

-I want to see if you notice it.
-THOMAS: Okay.

-Whoa.
-Oh! Whoa.

-What was that?
-Right there. That.

BRYANT:
Why is it cold?

Yeah, if it were an animal,

-it would be hot.
-BRYANT: It would be hot.

I don't know
what to make of that.

TRAVIS: It's one thing
to hear stories of portals

and strange entities
at Homestead Two,

but what we saw just didn't
make scientific sense.

Could it really be possible
to open a portal there?

So, maybe take
about a foot off first,

and we look at it.

Yeah, that sounds good.

Yeah.

TRAVIS:
Well, just this year,

as I like to put it,
we poked the nest

a little bit harder to find out.

First, Thomas Winterton moved

some earth with a bulldozer
near the homestead.

ERIK:
Hey, Bryant.

I want you to see this.

We've got a couple flavors of
strangeness going here, Bryant.

-Look.
What the actual hell is this?
-BRYANT: What?

TRAVIS: And suddenly, Erik
detected a dangerous spike

in gamma rays.

-We got to get
those people out of there.
-Okay.

ERIK:
That-That's not good.

-THOMAS: What's wrong?
-TRAVIS: What's up?

Erik pulled the data.
There was a spike at 3,400.

-3,400?
-BRYANT: 3,400.

Everybody out of here now!

Everybody out.

All right, here we go.

Later that night,

we launched a rocket

to see what else
we could stimulate

and again were stunned
by what happened.

[static crackling]

Erik,
are you doing something at 1.6?

I'm not broadcasting.

THOMAS:
What are you seeing?

TRAVIS:
A signal.

For the past three years,
we've often detected

an RF radiation signal
of 1.6 gigahertz,

but this time,
it was accompanied

by a weird audio signal.

That's a communication signal
or something.

It wasn't a satellite
that we were picking up,

so the question was

what might have been trying
to communicate with us?

What's going on, Erik?

ERIK:
Yeah, I've got
something to show you.

TRAVIS:
Several hours later,

Erik captured something
near Homestead Two

with a surveillance camera

that might have offered
an answer.

BRYANT:
What the hell is that?

-ERIK: It could be... Uh-huh.

the trail behind it.

It leaves a trail behind it
as it goes.

ERIK:
Sure.

TRAVIS:
In one night, one span there,

we see a strange
communication beam,

and then we see this thing.

Is there a connection?

You've captured a UAP
on camera here, Erik,

and we don't know what it is.

The mystery
of Homestead Two continues.

We're not sure what to make
of the UAP, harmful radiation

and possible
portal activity there,

but it almost pales
in comparison

to what we've seen
at the biggest UAP hot spot

on the ranch: the triangle.

TRAVIS:Of the numerous
Locations on Skinwalker Ranch

where our team has seen UAP

and detected
the highest radiation spikes,

the most compelling
and unsettling

is that zone a mile high
above the so-called triangle.

The triangle
is right in front of us.

CAMERON:
We should be approaching

a point for
the first turn to the west.

TRAVIS:
In 2020, Erik and I wanted
to take extended measurements

of GPS, gamma ray

and RF radiation data
in that zone,

so we convinced
Brandon Fugal's brother Cameron

to fly us in Brandon's
helicopter up through it.

All right, I've got
the six o'clock position

at 2,500-foot radius.

So, I'm showing radar altimeter.

Showing we're only 40 feet
above the ground right now.

That's not good.

But as we approached our target,

something really scary happened.

[alert beeping]

TRAVIS:
Whoa, weird.

CAMERON:
So something could be under us.

40-something feet under us.

It showed something under us,
at 40 feet below us.

What the hell is
40 feet under us?

-I don't get it.
-Holy crap.

I'm going to show you a few
clips that I've put together.

Okay.

We didn't know what
the heck Cameron's radar

was sensing below us,
but then later

we reviewed the footage recorded
during the experiment.

CAMERON:
Oh.

-TRAVIS: You see that?
-Oh, my gosh.

Yeah, look at that. God.

TRAVIS:
Some kind of shadowy UAP buzzed

the helicopter
from multiple angles.

It made us all wonder
just how much our safety was

in jeopardy
while we were up there.

That only made us more intrigued
about what the triangle had

to reveal to us, so in 2021,

we invited
former U.S. military veterans

Jeremy McGowan,
Gary Voorhis and Jason Turner

to the ranch.

Gary and Jason had been
eyewitnesses

to the infamous
Tic Tac UAP encounter

that was documented
by the U.S. Navy in 2004.

And today,
all three guys are members

of an investigative team
known as UAPx,

which privately studies

the phenomena
all over the world.

Well, their visit got
bizarre from the start.

stricken with a severe headache.

the spectrum analyzer.

Yeah, we got to get
to the spectrum analyzer.

THOMAS: Having experienced
something similar, obviously

the first item is to
get him to safety,

and see if we can stop
what is happening.

We've got that 1.6 thing.

Yeah, but we're clearly
getting that signal.

I don't know if it was the ranch

responding to those guys,
but we detected

the 1.6 gigahertz RF spike
at the same time.

All right, Jason,
everything is running right now.

All right, everything's running.
We're good.

TRAVIS:
Thankfully, Jason recovered.

So we headed out to the triangle
where the plan was to launch

rockets equipped
with scanning devices up

through the mile-high zone

while the UAPx guys
monitored the skies with

their specialized
UAP detection vehicle

known as OSIRUS.

All right, here we go.
Rocket is going hot!

Smoke to pop.

Five, four...

three, two, one...

You got to be kidding me.

Oh, [bleep].

TRAVIS: The rockets
functioned just fine,

but during each launch,
OSIRUS inexplicably shut down.

It was like
something was purposely

preventing them
from collecting data.

But what could do that?

-Hey, look, UAP right there!
-Yep.

-I see it!
-Yep, there it is. You got one.

Yep, there it is right there,
right there!

TRAVIS:
The UAPx guys all said
they hadn't

seen anything
like it since the Tic Tac.

You got to be [bleep] me.

TRAVIS:
The triangle
would remain our target

in the following weeks,
and while it would

continue
to reveal possible answers,

it also presented
a lot more questions.

Dragon and I are gonna take
a rocket

out there and set it up
in-in this spot,

and launch it
right underneath where we are.

You guys try and capture
it through the telescope.

-That make sense?
-Yeah.
-Yes, sir.

-Okay.
-All right. Let's go!

After the UAPx experiment,

we invited a team of astronomers

out to focus high-powered

telescopes up through the
mile-high zone at the triangle.

The plan was to launch
rockets to stimulate something

above the triangle,

while the telescopes zeroed in

on the anomaly's exact location.

Hey, Bryant, Travis.

-You guys ready for launch?
-Yeah, we are, Erik.

-Please stand by.
-CHUCK: Give me a moment.

I'm having trouble getting my,
uh, computerized mount aligned.

What is the function
that you're trying

to do that it's not doing?

Uh, when we, when I first
set up the mount,

-I have to aim it
at a couple of stars.
-Uh-huh.

And that builds the model
of the sky in the computer.

It's not letting me do that.

TRAVIS: But just like with
the UAPx team, the telescopes

wouldn't function and only when
they were aimed at the triangle.

We need to launch
this rocket now.

Three, two,

one, ignition.

I thought that could mean

something was happening
so we launched the rocket.

All right.

[cattle mooing]

Uh, the cattle are acting

very abnormal.

I'm getting something
on the 1.6.

TRAVIS:
Sure enough, the cows started
acting up, Erik detected

the 1.6 gigahertz RF signal
on the spectrum analyzer...

-Look at this one right here.
-What the hell
is that in the sky?

-To the south.
-There it is!

CHUCK:
That thing is big and spherical!

TRAVIS: Yes, it is! It's got
a black dot in the center of it.

What in the crap?

And then we saw the biggest and
most clear UAP to that point.

The triangle showed
once again that it might

hold a key to the secret
of Skinwalker Ranch.

-And, of course,

we soon revealed
even more compelling clues

and possible answers.

As you're aware, we've
seen some really weird stuff.

-Yeah, you sure have.
-And so...

we thought we needed
a much larger rocket that can

go up through the triangle

and with a lot of instruments
on it.

And at the same time have

multiple very large
lasers focused

on the spot, uh, as well
as a scanning laser system

focused on the spot while we
have all of our instruments

and cameras
and everything looking at it.

I mean, everything
we've got and used

in the past, we would use
in one big experiment.

It sounds like you are proposing
something on a grand scale.

Yeah.

-Stand the booster up here.
-Yep.

TRAVIS:
In 2021, we threw everything

but the kitchen sink
at the triangle

in an effort to find out
what the secret

of the mile-high zone was.

We projected three
high-powered laser beams

and broadcast the 1.6 gigahertz
communication signal

up through the anomalous zone.

And then launched
a nine-foot tall rocket

equipped with GPS
and all kinds of energy sensors.

BRYANT: The anticipation
and hopes are so high

for this experiment,

we'll be able to either
stimulate or see something

that could really lead us
in a direction

to figuring out what's
actually going on.

What was that bend all about?

It caught
dramatically to the north,

so it couldn't
go up through the beam.

The launch was perfect
and the rocket was heading right

for the target zone above
the triangle, but suddenly,

something up there
we couldn't see

deflected it way off course.

I swear it looked like something

hit it and it shot north.

Because it was going
straight up and then just, boom!

Yeah, Erik, go ahead.

We couldn't believe what we had
just seen with the rocket,

me and Brandon something

he captured
on his surveillance camera

that was even more perplexing.

for it to be a satellite.

This thing is really
clipping along.

It disappeared.

TRAVIS:
What did it disappear into?

It's not cloudy.

BRANDON:
That's insane.

Erik clearly captured
a UAP ascending

from the direction of the mesa

that approached
the mile-high zone

above the triangle
and then simply vanished.

That's down below the mesa.

I don't know
if I'm seeing what I think

I'm seeing, or not.

BRANDON:
Is it a portal?

Are we seeing portals open?

TRAVIS:
I didn't know if Brandon could
have been onto something

given all the bizarre energy
and visual anomalies we had

documented above the triangle.

And I wasn't sure what

the connection
to the mesa might be.

But earlier in 2021,

me, Dragon and Cameron Fugal
conducted another

experiment in Brandon's
helicopter above the triangle...

CAMERON: We're 1,600 feet
above the ground.

TRAVIS: ...that showed
another possible correlation

between the two sites.

Winds are just up to
five knots out of the southeast.

And you can see the triangle
off to the side there, Travis.

TRAVIS:
Yep, yeah. I'm watching.
I've got eyes on it.

Yeah, I've got the-the triangle

immediately
beneath us on the left side.

Yep.

All right, so I'm gonna drop
this GPS right now.

TRAVIS:

Hoping to pinpoint the anomaly

in the mile-high zone,
Dragon and I dropped several

GPS devices
down through the triangle.

Dropping multiple payloads,
let us know what you get.

Yeah, we're right over,

We were
dropping multiple bottles,

one after another after another.

TRAVIS: We threw out
the last 20 GPS trackers

just hoping they'd
be able to get good data.

Packages dropped. Packages away.

What I want to show you
are the two separate

GPS data payloads.

All right, now let me explain
what you're looking at here,

you can probably guess.

These, uh, blue cubes
that I'm using

represent the position
of the GPS payloads.

This is where things
start getting strange.

These blue cubes appear
to be 50 feet,

70 feet below
the surface of the mesa.

It looks like
you smashed into the mesa.

What the heck?

How?

It was incredible.

The GPS devices
that we dropped from more

than a mile up in the air,

showed data at
a specific spot inside the mesa.

None of us knew what
that might mean at the time,

but a few weeks later,
a former investigator returned

to the ranch and
gave us a possible answer.

What's it like coming back?

It's pretty
surreal actually, you know.

It's kind of like being back
home a little bit, you know?

'Cause I have a lot
of experiences out here.

You know, I lived and breathed
this property for six years.

TRAVIS:
In 2021, Chris Bartel,
an Airforce veteran

who once ran security for Robert
Bigelow on Skinwalker Ranch,

paid us a visit that would
lead our investigation

of the mysterious mesa
in a shocking new direction.

So, October of 2010,
I found some big prints

on top of the mesa,
canine prints.

Here, take a look at this.
You can see here.

Look at those,
look how deep those go down.

-Look at that.
-Oh, my gosh.

So that's about
three feet between step?

CHRIS: Mm-hmm.
That's a very big canine.

Seeing this picture,
you can tell by both

the size
and the stride that we're

talking about
a very large animal.

It makes me think about
the legend of the skinwalker.

I'll never forget this.

Because it has been replaying in
my mind forever, since this day.

Out of that ditch I hear

a god-awful guttural howl growl.

The animal
jumps out of the ravine

over the berm and travels west.

This thing was probably
the size of a donkey, black.

We get around that corner there,

it's-it's gone.

-Wow.
-The next day we came back.

There was an area
I found on this mesa slope

and it led to this open cavity,
uh, it looked like a cave.

TRAVIS:
Now we had heard all kinds
of rumors about caverns

leading to underground bases

and even spacecraft
being hidden in the mesa.

So, when Chris said he tracked
this terrifying creature

to a massive cave,

Thomas and Kaleb were eager
to check it out.

CHRIS:
Oh, yeah.

I'm pretty sure this is it.
Or it looks like it.

THOMAS: You can tell that
at one time it was a lot larger,

and it's collapsed down
in on itself.

You can tell
that this whole area,

-it looks like a sunken-in area.
-Like it was all caved in.

-CHRIS: Yeah.
-THOMAS: Yeah.

TRAVIS: The massive cave
entrance that Chris said

was there more than ten years
earlier during the Bigelow era

was now covered
by huge boulders.

It seemed fishy to us,
so after confirming

with a demolition expert
that the cave-in seemed

to have been created on purpose,

we wondered
what could be in there

that someone might
have tried to keep hidden.

So we decided
to drill and find out.

-Come on, sweetheart.
-[machinery clacking]

THOMAS:
We can hear the drill bit,
down below, punching.

Copy you.
They must be into something

really solid that's
carrying the vibration well.

Yeah, I'm up against something
pretty hard right now.

TRAVIS: We hit
an obstruction that the drill

could not penetrate.

[rapid beeping]

Now, what am I getting?
What is all that?

I don't know,
it's a lot of noise.

Oh, wow.

TRAVIS:
And at the same time,

Erik began detecting
the mysterious 1.6 gigahertz

RF communication signal.

Hey, Bryant, Tom, you copy?

Yeah, I got you. Go ahead, Erik.

We've got

an RF spectrum analyzer,
which is a receiver,

that seems to be broadcasting

instead of just receiving.

That's not good.

Well, just have
a listen at this.

[beeping]

Are you okay?

No.

TRAVIS:
Whatever the drill hit
seemed to stimulate

the RF signal and then caused
Tom Lewis to become so sick,

we had to rush him
to the hospital.

Thankfully, he recovered.

But the mystery of what
could be inside

the mesa was about
to become even stranger.

Wow, look at all the metal.

I cannot believe
there's that much metal in this.

I mean, look how much
of it there is.

TRAVIS:
The obstruction turned out
to be a 400-foot wide

metallic object...
and shaped like a dome.

The possibilities of what
that meant seemed unbelievable.

So Erik and I
had the metals tested

at the University of Utah.

ERIK:
Now that's interesting.

We understand that there
was trace elements

of, uh, europium
and tellurium in the sample?

Yeah.

-TRAVIS: Yeah.
-ERIK: Well, that's interesting.

That's actually
very interesting.

Knowing that there
is a huge, dome-shaped,

metal object made
from the same materials used

on spacecraft
buried deep in the mesa

means our investigation
of that spot is far from over.

But believe it or not,
that might not be the strangest

thing we've discovered in
that area on Skinwalker Ranch.

he was gonna meet us

just at the trail head up here.

Hello.

TRAVIS: I'll admit
that the evidence of UAPs,

strange creatures and
even interdimensional portals

on Skinwalker Ranch,
is still hard to believe.

In 2021,
Navajo historian John Dover

met with ranch caretakers
Tom Lewis and Kandus Linde

at a nearby location
known as McConkie Ranch

to explain that the Indigenous
people of the region have been

documenting these types
of phenomena for centuries.

This is one place of
a whole bunch of places

that have petroglyphs
that were put on these rocks

-a thousand years ago
or even earlier than that.
-TOM: Mm-hmm.

Here is the most interesting
one that I've found so far,

is this spiral right here.

Some archeologists tell me that

this spiral could refer
to some kind of a portal.

-A portal?
-Yeah, a portal.

The ancient pictographs
John showed Tom and Kandus

at McConkie Ranch
were incredible,

especially the one
he believed to depict a portal.

Because there is
a megalithic formation

of boulders on the mesa
next to Skinwalker Ranch

that looks eerily identical.

So this spot
is some sort of mound.

JOHN:
Absolutely amazing.

We have basically
a spiral that's been

put into this ground here.

And as we've seen today
at McConkie

and maybe here,
that spiral is indicative of...

A portal,
a dimensional rift, an opening.

It was definitely
intriguing that John Dover

believed a portal
might be what that formation

on the mesa
was meant to represent...

Spinning up.

...but later in the year, when
we had technologist Pete Kelsey

perform an aerial photogrammetry
scan of the ranch,

the feature
he detected right above

that spiral of boulders
was beyond incredible.

ERIK:
Look at this structure.

This phantom structure
that's sticking up in the sky.

What would cause it to
do that if that's up in the air?

That's the question.

I want to show you something

at another location
that we've visited

that is part of this survey.

-Okay.
-Okay?

TRAVIS: This is right above
the petroglyph area, right?

-ERIK: Yes, it is.
-Just on the edge
of our property.

-Right.
-ERIK: And you'll recognize
the stone circle here.

TRAVIS:
Yep.

ERIK: And the feature
that I want to show you is

actually very close
to this stone circle.

-BRYANT: Oh, there you go!
-ERIK: There you go.

So let me spin us around.

-I notice a couple
of things here.
-Oh, now, look at this.

ERIK:
And you may observe
the same thing I have.

TRAVIS:
Yeah, so line those two up
and where are they pointing?

ERIK:
This feature, this artifact,

the largest stone that
was part of the stone circle

and that prominent thing
that's jetting up,

you know, further to the south.

You have three points in a line.

THOMAS:
Wow.

ERIK:
Well, we owe it to ourselves

to follow up on every data
anomaly that we come across,

particularly when
they're as prominent as

the ones we're looking at here.

TRAVIS: We still
have a lot of questions

about what is truly behind
all the phenomena

we and many others have
experienced on Skinwalker Ranch.

So this team is only more
determined to keep investigating

the key sites on the property

including Homestead Two...

the triangle...

and the mesa to finally
get some answers.

ERIK:
Frankly, everything
about this ranch baffles me.

We may have begun
to penetrate the surface

of the mystery at the ranch,
but we've also discovered

that the mystery is
potentially infinitely deep.

As mysterious events continue,
so also will this investigation.
