Everybody loved Hogan growing up because he was Hogan.

but the thousands outside the ring. They can be involved.

They can feel that energy.

[man 1] He has an ability to read a room like nobody I've ever seen before.

Even though that room may be filled with 20,000 people.

I saw grown adults in the front row crying and screaming when Hulk was down.

The people related to Hulk Hogan.

He made wrestling so entertaining.

So exciting.

This is going to be a special match for my mother, brother.

I think what attracted me to Hulk Hogan when I was a kid,

the hair, you know, the mustache, the yellow and red.

He looked, you know, like a street sign.

It just, it was very visual.

When the going gets rough,

all I do is reach out for those thousands upon thousands of Hulkamaniacs, man.

He peaked at a time when wrestling was transitioning into the mainstream.
