Once upon a time...
Well, this IS a story.

So, once upon a time
there was an unusual fairy.

Normal fairies never leave
their wands behind.

But this fairy was so careless
that she left her wand...

...at her best friend, who promised
to take good care of it.

The fairy unfortunately had an
arch-enemy called Black Troll.

The troll once propose to
the fairy, but she said no.

He then took an oath to
take revenge.

He promised to ruin the small
kingdom protected by the fairy.

As said, the fairy had left
her wand with her friend.

One morning she went to town
to take part in a christening.

She flew over the magical
streams in her kingdom.

The capital was as small as
a little village.

Most were still asleep when
mailman Gustaf went to work.

His cantankerous wife
told him not to waste time.

Gustaf answered that he
never waste time.

It was against his principles.
And off he went.

Well, he needs to stop and
say hello to the barber Foxy.

And also have a refreshing
glass of wine in the tavern.

They talked about the big
party and the market...

...and about the carnival people
that would arrive soon.

That same morning, inventor
Franz decided to try his new...

invention, so it was important
to wake up in time.

And as he only could
invent went he dreamt...

...he invented an alarm
made out of water.

He called it the alarm shower.

It can be bought at your
local watchmaker.

Gustaf drank his wine
and wanted another one...

...but he was a bit scared
of his wife, so he left.

All the while, the village
had woken up.

All letters were delivered.

And they said that a relative
would arrive by train...

...at 11:30 to join the party.

Mr Julius' trade was to
post proclamations and news.

He was wide awake,
reading an old paper.

His wife opened the shutters
and BANG!

The sun streamed in and
awoke his family.

Oh dear! People said that
the Julius had too many kids.

And that wasn't nice to hear.

Mrs Julius really tried to give her
kids the best upbringing possible.

Each child had received
a careful schedule.

"There is a right and a
wrong way of doing things."

Mr Franz contributed
with his knowledge.

"With more children, the more
you have to give"...

...the couple said with a sigh.

Gustaf glanced at Lindqvist,
the local carpenter.

He looked worried.

He was making an ironing board,
which he was going to...

...give to the beautiful
seamstress Lucidor.

He loved her with all his heart.

Gustaf realized that his
presence and the letter...

...couldn't get Lindqvist's
attention, so he left.

Maestro Ericson was
a cool cat.

He was the fairy's
music professor.

He was teaching the
young student Charlie...

...so the mail man just
left him the letter.

The letter was from his
cousin, the poet Per.

He announced his
arrival to the village.

Per was walking in the woods
towards the train station.

Time really flies when you feel good.

He knew that, but he
didn't care.

Cause he was a true poet,
who loved nature.

A waterfall tempted him
to cool of in the heat.

Nature's wonder made him
forget about the train.

The train never waits
for one man.

Today the train went a bit
faster than usual.

It was packed with festive people
on their way to the party.

And the driver was in
a hurry to meet Katja...

...the seamstress Lucidor's pupil.

The compartments were
packed.

The young men and women
gazed outside the window.

And their eyes twinkled
with impatience.

The poet Per suddenly
heard the train.

It roared and almost
howled at him...

...as if it was his fault
that it was late.

"Hurry Per! Hurry Per!"

Per realized that he was lost.

But then he saw a sign
that showed the direction.

A train either runs or stops.

Per wasn't on the platform
when the train stopped.

Per chased the train
like a mad man.

It was like chasing a dream.

And his dream was leaving him.

Per increased his speed.
He must reach the train.

Luckily August the scout
passed the tracks...

...and the train pulled to a stop.

"Jump aboard", said
the engine driver.

"In a minute", said
August the scout.

While they talked,
Per got on board.

People who ride trains
can do lots of stuff.

Read, play, think or eat,
but the most important is...

...to get a seat and defend
it at any cost.

But wait...

The Black Troll had a
diabolic TV equipment.

He could see everything
in the fairy's kingdom.

He saw the train in the woods,
towards the village.

He also looked at the village,
where Gustaf was meeting Lucidor.

Lucidor was getting
her beauty sleep.

A bumble bee danced around
and awoke her.

She got up and opened
the window...

...and heard another
kind of music.

It wasn't the usual music.

The song teacher was
her closest neighbour.

Sometimes it doesn't
sound very beautiful...

...but today it sounded
wonderful.

Today was so extraordinary,
that the kids forgot their home work.

At recess labour turns
to amusement.

And the amusement
as just begun.

Maestro Pretentious,
a famous painter,

was painting a portrait
of Mrs Anderson.

Julius drove is crane,
created by Franz the inventor.

He was busy posting
posters about the party.

It was as good
as it could get.

And the carnival people
were slowly arriving.

But something was wrong.

The Black Troll was observant
in his dungeon.

And he saw the caravans
on his monitor.

"Ah, I got an idea!",
he muttered insidiously.

"Hocus Pocus"

Which ment
"Hocus Pocus, lets begin!"

The Black Troll left his
secret dungeon...

...and mingled with the carnival
people, disguised as a baker.

That's when the misery started.

Fred the photographer
were late because...

...he constantly needed to
take beautiful pictures.

The train had finally
arrived at the village.

Per looked outside his window
and saw a poster of Barbara.

She was the star of
the puppet theatre.

Per fell in love.

And beyond all wonders...

...the image on the poster
winked at him.

"Impossible, I'm dreaming",
Per thought.

But he threw her a flower,
which she easily caught.

"There's no doubt, she
encourages me!", Per thought.

Per was shaken when he
went to visit his cousin Ericson.

Maestro Ericson was teaching
his pupil Charlie.

They played the song of the fairy.
A top secret song...

...that held the key to the
box with the fairys wand.

Per was delighted, but as he
couldn't stop thinking about...

...Barbara, he wanted to
freshen up after his trip.

The train was already
entering the village.

Per went out and
mingled with the people.

There were alot to look at.

Everything from the big balloon
to the dare devils.

But Per had only one
thing on his mind.

Barbara. Barbara.
In person.

Fred came last but came
with such speed...

...that he almost ran
over everybody.

Everybody is an exaggeration.
The beautiful people...

...were still at the barber,
getting more beautiful.

"Oh no, ladies. It's
not enough to suffer..."

"...to be beautiful. You have
to die for it!"

"You will be beautiful.
Just wait and see."

"Just a little patience.
So, so. That's it!"

While this was happening,
Lucidor's pupil Katja...

...boiled with anger.

Her fianc� waited anxiously.
But before she could leave...

...she had to finish a
blouse for Mrs Anderson.

And Mrs Anderson tried on
hat after hat...

in front of Lucidos,
who was ready to kill her.

A couple of guys played pool,
while they waited for the party.

Julie's oldest son was very
good, but today was not his day.

Per was still crazy
in love and went to...

...Ida and Irma, experts
on love and relationship.

"1, 2, 3, 4, 5.
Tonight, tonight."

"1, 2, 3, 4, 5.
Oh, I see a blonde."

"A blonde!"

"There is no doubt.
It's Barbara"

Barbara had given him a smile.
It wasn't just a game.

Oh, no. The elusive smile was
also a promise.

She stood by the window
and smiled at Per.

But the Black Troll, the demon,
looked at her with evil eyes.

He hated love as much as
he hated the fairy.

The Black Troll pretended
to be a baker.

And he had conjure forth
lots of treats.

But he didn't care about business.

He wanted to lure Charlie,
who couldn't say no to treats.

But Charlie wasn't there.

People gathered around Fred.

Mrs Anderson, who was
known to exaggerate,...

...stated that she say
a bird flew out of the camera.

Just as he took the picture.

"Nosy Parker!"

As Charlie didn't show up
at the baker's booth...

...the Black Troll went
out looking for him.

The shooting range?
Charlie wasn't there.

And not at the tombola wheel.
He was gone.

He didn't even show up to
watch the dare devils.

Barbara performed her show in
the little puppet theatre.

After the show, Per came
to congratulate his star.

He was filled with delight.

And then they went to
watch the fire works.

Finally the evil wizard found
young Charlie.

Look how cunning he was
to lure Charlie to his booth.

Who can say no to
a lollipop?

There were pyramids of
candied fruit and mountains of...

sugar candy on the shining
and rotating counter.

But when Charlie reached
out to take a praline...

...a cover dropped and
covered the sweets.

And there was a piano.

"Play the tune you have learned.",
said the Black Troll.

"Play the song of the fairy
and I'll give you all the treats."

"But you have to play first"
"Play!"

"Play!"
"Come on and play!"

"Play the song of the fairy."

It can't be dangerous,
Charlie thought.

The wand is here and,
the baker will leave tomorrow.

If he plays the tune,
it will be in another country.

That's what happens when
you forget to keep a promise.

As the party continued,
Per celebrated his...

...engagement with Barbara.
Charlie sat at the piano...

And just like that,
the secret was in the open.

Charlie was tied down
so he wouldn't move.

The Black Troll hurried
to Maestro Ericson...

...who left his door unlocked,
as he didn't expect a thief.

When the Black Troll
took the magical wand...

...luck turned to misery
and sorrow.

Come dawn, the village looked deserted.

Maestro Ericson took
care of Barbara.

The poor girl had turn to stone.

Per cried by her side.

Per went to seek the advice
from an astrologer.

The astrologer said,
"In order to restore happiness..."

"...you must defeat wind, earth,
fire and water."

"You must also free an innocent
creature from the dark forces."

"The Black Troll has got
the fairy's wand."

The Black Troll let out an
evil laugh in his dungeon.

Ha ha ha!

Nobody can take away his
magical wand.

On his monitor he saw the
big balloon lift up into the sky.

Per and Maestro Ericson
was sitting in the basket.

"Hocus Pocus",
said the Black Troll.

He had super demonic
thingumajigs.

He pulled a secret lever...
...and swish!

A secret hatch opened up.

Out of the hatch came
a remote controlled rocket.

"Fantastic. Ha ha ha!"
"A direct hit!"

He was so pleased that he
didn't see the 2 parachutes.

When they awoke from the fall,
they thought they were doomed.

They landed on a dreadful place.

They landed by a monster,
who was the troll's faithful servant.

Per thought that it was
best to get cracking.

The monster sat on
his throne and enjoyed...

...the thought of eating
poor Charlie.

"He's a real snack,
perfect for a monster"

But Per, who came to be known
as Per the Brave...

...didn't hesitate a second.

He jumped the monster.

The cloth covered the monster,
and Per freed Charlie.

Charlie had learned a lot during
his time in the prison.

At the gate they found
the monster's vehicle...

...which was half mole,
and half fish.

Poor them. The journey
was troublesome...

...among whirling water streams
until they reached surface.

The place they arrived at
was inhospitable.

A giant spider lived here.

Behind impenetrable sticky web
stood the innocent...

...little creature that Per
promised to free.

The giant spider didn't have
time to say any famous last words.

They say that love has wings.

Love can therefore
take you anywhere.

Carried by wings of love, they came
to the kingdom of the doves.

The doves were daughters
of the good fairy.

The moon shined above.
The night was peculiar.

Take a bath and you'll become
invulnerable, said the doves.

Then we will show you
which road to take.

Our three friends were
very tired.

But did as they were told.

"The dark forces can't hurt
you anymore", said the doves.

In the morning they went
to the Black Troll's mountain.

Ericsson decided to stay behind.

Per and Charlie went directly
into the dungeon.

The Black Troll was waiting.

"Ha ha ha!"
"My little friends!"

"So here you are."
"I will turn you into stone!"

But? What's going on?

Why didn't they turn to stone?

"It doesn't seem to work."

"I will try it on a bird."

"But it should work..."

"It's peculiar that I can't
turn them into stone."

"Let's see. Don't get nervous"

"Turn to stone!"
"Turn to STONE!"

The troll was so angry
that he waved the wand...

...carelessly and...swish!
He himself turned to stone.

At that moment, the fog
that covered the village...

...dissolved and arose
to the sky.

The wand was returned
and placed in its box.

Per saw the beautiful
Barbara come alive.

The flowers blossomed
everywhere.

Everything was reborned.

At the end of this story...

...our unusual fairy turned
to a normal fairy.

And she never left
her wand behind.

Not even to a reliable friend.
