Of course it is. I plan to make a lot of money off my association with you someday.

Oh, wait. Here he comes.

Morgan.
I’m sorry, Dad, but you don’t know her like I do.
You don’t know what she’s capable of.

Let’s go.
Stalking cases present a lot of challenges to law enforcement.
Offenders don’t adhere to predictable patterns.
No one knows what they’re gonna do next.
And tracking a potential suspect 24/7
takes up a lot of man-hours,
and, quite frankly, we don’t have the resources.
The law clearly states that we can’t do anything to Morgan Pierce
unless he threatens her life.
Actually says he’s gonna kill me?
Yes.
Ms. Cooper, please just go home and get yourself some rest,

[Morgan] You gave me HIV,
and now I can never have children
or get married.
Do you have HIV?
No. Does he?
I don’t know. How would I know that?
How could they just let him out? I don’t know,
but I’m trying to figure that out.
What about a restraining order?
I’ve been talking to my lawyer, and he says... Absolutely.
Department policy is to suggest a restraining order.
But...
But based on what I’ve seen,
I’m not so sure I’d recommend it.
70% of all stalkers will violate their restraining order,
and if this guy Morgan is really starting to spiral,
you don’t want to provoke him
or make him angry enough to prove that he’s above the law.
Okay, but if she gets a restraining order, he has to stay at least,
I don’t know, like 1,000 feet away from her, right?
It’s more like 50 feet, maybe 100.
It’s all up to the judge.
But in reality,
it’s unlikely we get there in time to stop him,
and I personally just don’t think it’s worth the risk.
You’ve been through this before obviously,
so tell me, what happens next?
I mean, how long do I have to live like this before this guy gives up on me?
Honestly, it could be a long time.
I don’t believe this is happening.
Have you considered moving?
Absolutely not. No.
Toni and I just started paying mortgage on that house.
I mean, both my parents are buried here.
This is my life.
He can’t just take my life from me.
Then at the very least, I’d stop engaging him altogether.
What do you mean?
On the phone, in person, ever.
Any response, no matter how small,
is enough to permanently position you
at the center of your stalker’s obsession.
Simply talking to him, even to rebuke him,
could be perceived as a form of encouragement.
Doesn’t this guy have a record? Couldn’t you use that to...
Yes, as a matter of fact, Morgan does have a record,
but unfortunately it’s been sealed,
and I need the court’s permission to open it.
Sealed? What does that mean?
The case may have been dismissed,
or he might have been a minor at the time of the incident.

I think you’re beginning to understand that now.
I’ll encompass you.
Keep you wrapped up.
And I will always be there, Casey.
I will always be here.
[beep beep]
I called our congressman today
and the FBI and the CIA.
The CIA?
Okay, well, that was kind of a long shot.
What’d you find out?
That unless he’s a terrorist, there’s really not much they can do.
Hmm. Unless he threatens to kill me.
Right. Well, thanks for trying anyway.
I think you should talk to someone.
I don’t know. Maybe a doctor could...
You think I’m losing my mind?
No.
No.
I think that you are under an unbearable amount of stress,
and you can’t keep pushing this inside of you.
It’s okay to admit that you’re scared.
I can’t stop thinking about him.
He’s everywhere.
I see him even when I close my eyes.
I know.
Well, that’s why you need to talk to someone.
You’ve got to get this horrible man out of your head.
Casey, you need to get help.
Please get some help.
The captain called back about Morgan Pierce.
Yeah. I’ve been trying to get access to his file.
Well, he said to stop asking, and he doesn’t want to have to tell you again.
[door closes]
That’s not gonna happen.
Okay. Ooh, pretty pink.
Hey!
Hey. I see the Christmas decorations are in full swing. Yeah.
I’d give you a hug, but I’m a little tied up here.
So how was it? Did you like your therapist?
I did.
And do you feel better?
Eh. Merry Medicated Christmas, everyone.
What are you doing here?
Did Casey tell you to kill me?
You need to take your medication, Morgan.
I don’t want to.
It’s not a suggestion.
Tongue up.
All right.
Get some sleep.
She’s the dangerous one, not me. She can’t fit into my clothes.
Come and get it, kiddies. Let the festivities begin!
Can we open gifts before we eat?
Me first.
Let’s do it. Uh-oh. [laughing]
Merry Christmas.
Oh, cash. You should have.
Oh, money, money, money.
Just be quiet and open it.
What is it?
It’s a gift certificate.
For an alarm system for your house.
Well, that really lightens the mood.
I should work on my timing.
Oh, Annette.
You don’t need to buy me lavish gifts.
Well, I don’t know. Diamonds are always appreciated.
Stocks are very thoughtful as well.
Property. Okay, okay.
You guys, let’s open another gift.
Oh, yeah. Let’s do that. Great idea.
I’ll run to the car really quick. Go, go, go.
This is yours. Big bow. Thank you.
And this one is yours.
And it’s purple. So festive.
[Annette] Your favorite color. I know.
[Annette] Let’s start Casey’s stack of presents.
She’s got a lot.
Right, I shall wait with you until Toni gets here.
No, come on, Trey. You should go on your date.
Toni will be here any minute. She’s never late.
Listen, I don’t want my problems to interfere with your life, too.
Wanting my best friend to be safe is not an interference,
but having to visit you in the hospital, that would seriously mess with my schedule.
I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have said that.
Oh, come on. It’s okay. It’s funny.
No, it’s not.
Lisa’s still here. I can always hitch a ride with her.
Go. Please? Would you please go on your date?
I don’t know... Please. Come on! Before I kick you to the car.
Go. All right, all right.
Adiós, mamacita. [blows kiss]
Bye.
Hey, girl. What are you still doing here? [cell phone ringing]
I’m waiting for Toni. I’ll see you later. Hey, Toni. Where are you?
Hey, babe, I’m so sorry. Someone slashed my tires.
I’ve been on the phone with the tow truck company for 20 minutes.
Are you okay? I’m fine.
But get Trey to give you a ride home.
Trey’s gone. Wait, where are you?
I’m outside waiting for you.
By yourself? What are you doing?
Look, let me call you back, okay?
Hey, Lisa, hold up!
Detective Leary, it’s me, Casey.
I think Morgan slashed Toni’s tires.
I... Oh, God, he’s here right now.
Call me back right away.
[breathing heavily]
[phone ringing] [gasps]
[ringing]
It’s Toni and Casey. Please leave a message after the beep.
[beep] [breathing heavily]
[Morgan] I like what bruises do to your body, Casey,
the way that you turn blue in the sun.
I’d run you over if I saw you in the street.
And then, maybe then you’d finally understand.
I’m going to help you, Casey,
but I’m going to help you by what I’m not going to do.
I’m not going to actually tell you I’m going to kill you
or tell you how I would kill you.
No official threats. Nothing at all. [car door closing]
[sobbing] Leave me alone. [car drives off]
I’m not going to do anything that will let the police Why can’t you leave me alone?
Stop me from stopping you. [sobbing]
Not now, not ever. [sobbing]
You’ll never get away with what you have planned, ever.
You should kill yourself, Casey!
You should kill yourself right now.
[crying]
Casey, sweetie, is this decaf?
Oh, crap. I’m so sorry.
Oh, it’s okay, it’s okay. No big deal.
Hey, you wanna take a break? No, I don’t need a break.
I’ll just make him a new one. I can help you.
No, I don’t need help. I can do it. It’s fine.
I’ll just make him a new one.
You sure about quitting?
Yeah, I think so.
It’s just too hard for me to get home at night.
I’m not sleeping enough to work three jobs.
Did you at least tell the detective about the letters and the blood?
Yeah, he knows. And?
Casey, there’s got to be something that can be done. What am I supposed to do?
I change my phone numbers. He finds them.
I sneak out the back, and he’s waiting for me.
I stay at home, and he just sits outside.
I’ve tried everything, but until he actually threatens to kill me...
Sometimes I wish he would. Just kill me and get it over with.
Don’t say that.
You can’t let this guy ruin your entire life.
Too late. He already has.
[shower water running]
[crying]
[door opening]
[crying] Oh, my God.
[water stops running] Case? Okay.
Come on. Get up. [grunting]
[sobbing]
[crying]
Casey? What happened?
Did you see him outside again?
I couldn’t... I couldn’t breathe.
Yeah, it’s okay.
[sobbing]
Hey, remember when we were kids, I was afraid of everything?
Heights: check.
Monsters in the closet: check.
Spiders? Definitely a check.
I’m still not a fan of the arachnid.
But, Casey,
you are so strong.
After your dad died and your mom got sick,
you were the one that took care of us.
You made sure that everything was gonna be okay.
And when your mom got cancer,
she said that it was you that gave her the strength to fight.
Do you remember that?
[chuckles] I mean, even now, when I see a spider,
I freak out, and you’re the one that takes care of it.
Because you’re so strong.
[sobbing] And we are gonna find a way
to set you free.
Do you hear me? I promise.
I promise that.
We have to do something. She’s not eating.
She’s not sleeping. She had to quit a job!
Added financial strain is not making this better.
I hear you, Toni, I really do,
and I know you’re scared.
Every time I try to find anything out about this guy,
I get a door slammed in my face.
This Morgan Pierce is very well connected,
and those connections clearly know something worth hiding.
Okay, so what are we supposed to do?
I’m going to ask a friend in Homeland Security a favor,
see if she can help me get any information on this guy.
Okay, and until then?
Until then, I’d suggest you take
whatever steps you’re comfortable with,
by whatever means necessary to protect yourself.
Toni?
Toni, he’s outside.
This is enough.
Toni, what are you doing?
Oh, my God, where did you get that? I’m not doing this anymore.
Toni, stop it. Stop it. Wait.
Sorry. I thought you saw me.
Stopped by to give you an update.
You okay? Yeah. Come in.
[whimpering, whining]
Casey, can you change out the board for me?
I’d rather not, if that’s okay. I’m good back here.
You know, I’ve got that little weekend house just sitting up there empty.
Why don’t you take some vacation time?
You’ve always loved it up there.
I can’t. Why not?
You and Toni can head out tomorrow,
and then Trey and I can join you on Saturday,
and we can celebrate the Fourth of July and have a barbecue.
What do you say? I, well, I don’t...
I’d have to talk to Toni. Good, it’s settled.
Can I talk to Toni and I’ll let you know tomorrow?
Call me tonight and tell me yes.
Casey, is that you? I’m home!
Hey, Toni. Yeah?
We’re leaving town.
Will you relax? He’s not behind us.
It’s impossible that he knows where we are right now.
Wish I could believe that.
Okay, well, then do. It’s fine.
Look, I have Detective Leary’s cell phone programmed into mine.
I’ve asked Trey to spend the night at our house. He’s gonna make it look like we’re home.
And I brought the gun. We’re totally covered. Trust me.
I guess so.
What? I’m checking my lipstick.
You’re not wearing any lipstick.
Wow. This is amazing.
[Toni] Hey, you got the keys, right?
The only place I get cell phone reception
is in the driveway.
How do people live like this?
Oh, I don’t know. I guess they unplug.
You know, go to the country to relax.
It’s really beautiful, but I don’t know. I think maybe we should go back home.
Annette never told me that there weren’t any phones in the house,
and I think it’s too dangerous to not have cell phone reception.
Casey, he doesn’t know where we are.
And besides, I picked up some Wi-Fi from the neighbors.
We’ll be fine. We don’t know that.
Okay, well, I’m gonna go downstairs and unpack,
and when I get back, let’s go get food, do something fun.
Hey, sound like a plan?
Yeah, I guess.
Good, great. Yay.
[crowd cheering]
[horns blowing]
[Casey sighs] I have to admit, it’s really nice to be outside.
I know, right?
Maybe we should find some country boys
who will show us their equipment.
Tsk. [chuckles] [chuckles]
No, but seriously, we should find some fireworks.
Yeah, maybe we should.
Oh, come on. You don’t have to look that surprised.
Sorry. It’s just... It’s been a while since we’ve done something normal.
Yeah. Well, maybe we should get out of a town a little more often.
Maybe we should.
[firecrackers popping]
[laughing, screaming]
[laughing]
Oh, my... [clears throat]
That was normal. [laughing]
Normal reaction.
[sighing]
Hey! Put this on.
And this.
[Toni] Hurry up!
We don’t wanna miss the fireworks!
[paper rustling]
Wait, Case, before you come up here, grab my sweater.
Oh, my God. He’s here.
It’s okay. Case, hold on.
I’m gonna call Detective Leary, okay?
We never should have left. There’s no service.
Damn it! Okay, don’t move!
How could he have found us?
[keypad clicking]
[screaming]
No!
The red water hides the ink. I get it now, Casey.
Casey, come on! It’s drowned in blood, Casey.
Not buried but blood! Leary’s on his way!
He’ll never make it in time!
We gotta lock ourselves in... Stop!
Stop.
[Casey] Where did he go?
Maybe he left.
[screaming]
Shut up! Shut up!
[Toni crying] Shut up!
See what you’ve done, Casey?
Do you see what you’ve made me do? Shh!
Shh! No, no! Shut up!
[whimpering]
Now other people get hurt!
You’re causing the casualties now! [Toni yells]
Let go of me! No!
Shut up! No, shut up, shut up!
Shut up! Shut up! [Toni crying]
If she’s unconscious, then she’s free!
Just like if you’re conscious,
still they can’t be free.
[whimpers, gasps] Shh.
[Morgan] Shh.
You see the address here?
It’s the same as the day we met.
It’s fate, Casey.
It’s bookends. It’s book... [Toni grunts]
[Toni grunts] No! Shh.
No!
Shh. Quiet now. [Morgan] No.
[deep exhale] It’s time to kill the spider.
[Toni gasps, whimpers]
[grunts, gasps]
What’s the frequency now, Morgan?
[laughing]
What’s the frequency of this bullet gonna be
when it erupts in your frontal lobe?
You hear me?
[sobs] Shh.
[laughing]
Murder’s a commitment, Morgan.
[Toni crying]
I’m not afraid to say it like you.
I’m gonna kill you.
I’m gonna blow your brains out all over this place.
Now let her go. Let her go!
[Toni whimpering]
[gasping, panting]
Shh. Shh.
Get out of my house now.
Get out!
[gasping, gagging]
[sniffles]
Come here.
[whimpering, crying] Shh, shh.
I’m sorry.
[sobbing, gasping]
Shh.
Shh.
[Toni gasps] [siren wailing]
How’s she doing? [EMT] Actually, she’s fine.
It’s just a superficial cut, so it’s not really even deep enough for stitches,
and her windpipe is clear, just superficial bruising.
Are multiple lacerations enough for you, Detective?
Or attempting to choke her to death? Will that do the trick?
Strangling should suffice. [sighing]
So that’s it, then. You can pick him up, right?
All right, here’s the deal. Morgan indeed does have a connection to a big shot.
He uses his mother’s maiden name of Pierce,
but his father is Richard Steele,
as in Lieutenant Governor Richard Steele.
Which is why you couldn’t get access to his files. Until now.
We finally got a court order to unseal Morgan’s arrest record,
which includes public drunkenness, domestic disturbance,
and most recently illegal possession of a handgun.
Conveniently, no charges were ever filed.
So his father has been protecting him this whole time,
getting him out time and time again?
Well, he’s not gonna do it again.
We woke up a judge, we got the arrest warrant signed,
they’re on their way to pick him up now.
How you doing, Toni?
Just peachy.
And you?
For the first time in a long while,
I can honestly say I’m fine.
[sighs] Yeah.
Thanks for telling me.
Yeah.
[phone beeps]
[Morgan] What...
What are you doing? Why are you touching all my stuff?
You’ve gone too far this time, Morgan.
I won’t be able to protect you.
You don’t understand.
Everything that she’s put together.
There’s silos and bunkers.
And all...
All the people that she’s killed.
She takes people’s, people’s teeth
and she, she hides them.
Stop it, Morgan. Just stop it.
This is what happens to you when you don’t take your medication.
They’re coming to get you...
and I’m not going to be able to stop them.
Not this time.
Why?
She got to you. She told you to do this to me.
This is not you, Morgan. This is your disease.
Yes, it is,
And I’m going to kill you, Casey, if you don’t shut up!
[groaning]
[grunting]
Morgan!
[Trey humming]
Hey. Anyone care for a celery stalk?
Annette, that’s an awful joke.
Also got some nuts, some fruitcake.
[laughing]
And some brie. Mm.
Why brie? I don’t get it.
It’s not a joke, honey. I love brie.
Think they got him by now?
Uh, so, what do you think the police will find
when they go into Pierce’s house for the first time?
An altar dedicated to me, of course.
Yes, and pictures of you everywhere with candles burning.
Christmas lights on the altar and rose petals.
Rose petals? Really?
Yes, in the shape of a heart. Oh, nice.
Somebody’s been reading too many romance novels, and that’s all I gotta say.
[knocking]
Come on in, Morgan!
[Toni] Casey! Ha ha!
Oh, come on, you guys. Lighten up.
[Annette] That was a good one.
The house is surrounded by cops.
Nothing’s gonna happen.
Hey, Detective. How’s it going?
We don’t know where he is.
All his father would say is Morgan just disappeared.
And you believed him, after his father got him out time and time again?
We’ve still got the APB out on him.
We’re going to monitor his father’s house 24 hours a day until we find him.
I don’t know what else to tell you.
Well, thanks for letting us know in person.
I can assure you we’re doing the best we can.
I know you are, Detective,
but, frankly, it just isn’t enough anymore.
Thanks for stopping by.
[Annette] Where’s Casey? I think she’s writing.
Upstairs. Trey, would you go up and check on her?
Hey. You all right?
Fantastic.
Not much of a party, huh?
It’s okay. Everybody understands.
Nobody understands. I don’t even understand anymore.
They’ll find him. You have to believe that.
Mm-hmm. No, no, no.
It’s different now, Casey.
They all understand how dangerous this guy is,
so the police are going to be with you every step of the way.
Heck, I’m gonna move in downstairs, so there’s not gonna be one moment
that there won’t be somebody there to protect you.
Thank you, Trey. Truly. For everything.
If someone had told me a year ago that...
I would spend my days hiding in my living room and shaking when the phone rang,
I would never have believed it.
I thought I was the kind of girl that hit first
and asked questions later, but Morgan changed all that.
No one can give me back my sense of safety in this world.
I’ll never walk down a street again without wondering if I’m being followed.
But I will keep walking,
and, after all I’ve been through,
I finally see there is a victory in that.
Maybe Morgan is gone for good.
Or maybe the next time you see me will be in one of those shocking news reports.
"Girl Has Her Head Blown Off. Story at 11:00."
Look, you can feel bad for me.
You can tell yourself that it could never happen to you.
That’s where you’re wrong. I was just like you.
I might even be stronger than you,
and it happened to me.
I was forced to face my own vulnerability,
which made me realize that my family...
my amazing friends...
are what got me through the toughest times.
Morgan Pierce has been a constant shadow of fear in my life,
and only by telling my story
can I force him out into the light.
Only by speaking my truth can I set myself free.
Well, that and a complete overhaul of the system,
but... for now the truth will have to do.
Detective Dominic Leary, please.
Leary. Detective Leary,
this is Richard Steele.
I’d like to talk to you and Miss Cooper.
Now, I asked you here today to apologize for my son.
Um, thank you.
But also for you to understand
that Morgan suffers from paranoid schizophrenia.
Now, we... that is his mother and I, before she died...
we did everything we could to find the help for him privately.
Which was really hard because, as you know, we’re always in the public eye.
The thing is, Morgan is a really nice young man
when he’s on his medication.
But he skips taking his pills,
and then everything, well, just starts to go haywire again.
See, Morgan needs medical help.
He doesn’t need to be locked up with a bunch of criminals.
He’s a sick boy, not a bad boy,
and he needs to be in a place where people can regulate his medication.
Your boy is a 25-year-old man.
I am asking you as his father
to drop the charges that you’ve brought against him.
Excuse me? Why would I do that?
Well, [laughs] I mean,
after all, he hasn’t actually harmed you, really.
And you did encourage him at the beginning with your flirting.
Okay, that’s enough. No, no, no.
I can see how that could be very attractive.
You know, I mean, all the attention that you got.
You can’t be serious.
A young woman, single,
no children, no boyfriend.
I mean, that could be very exciting, right?
But the thing is, we’re talking about a life here, Miss Cooper,
and you need to put your issues aside and realize that.
See, Morgan needs... no, no, no...
Morgan deserves...
your compassion.
Ugh.
It’s so obvious that you’re doing this
for your political ambitions.
Morgan was getting help.
You’re the one that got him out.
You knew what he was capable of, and you still let him ruin my life.
Oh! [chuckling] Come on now.
That is so dramatic, Miss Cooper!
But tell me something. What exactly did he do to you?
What, he took a few pictures of you.
He sent you some harmless mail.
The rest of it...
the medications, the panic attacks,
that was all you!
All right, I think we’re done here.
You have no idea what he’s done to me.
What he’s taken from me.
What I can’t ever get back.
I waited every day for your son to try and kill me.
Do you have any idea what that’s like?
Please, Miss Cooper, Morgan would never have hurt you.
Morgan did hurt me over and over again.
And I’ll be damned if I drop the charges.
Because I know that once he’s detained, he’ll finally get the help that he needs,
that he deserves.
Because he’s the one with the problem, not me.
You’re gonna regret this, young lady.
I wonder what your wife would say about this.
Do not talk about my wife!
How she would feel about how you’ve allowed him
to terrorize me every day of my life for the last year.
Oh, that’s...
You cannot give me my time back.
I will never walk down the street again without looking over my shoulder,
wondering if someone’s gonna try and hurt me.
You can’t give me my peace of mind back.
You know, Morgan may be sick,
he might need help, he might not know what he’s doing, but you do.
With that smug look on your face,
you know exactly what you’re doing.
My only regret is I can’t lock you up in there with him.
[scoffing, chuckling]
Annette, you’re worse than me.
I’m sorry. I just can’t focus. I hate this time of day.
Oh, Roger, just leave it there. I’ll take care of it.
[clears throat]
Oh, thanks.
Take care of yourself, Casey.
I always do.
Okay, I’m gonna go now.
Okay. You okay?
I’m good. Yeah.
Bye.
Sorry, we’re closed.
Every day he leaves. Did you know that?
He never... He never leaves.
It’s that coffee.
I’ve watched that cop leave to go on his break
across to the liquor store
to go to bathroom for 20 minutes!
I’ve watched you. I’ve seen you here.
I’ve never left you, Casey.
And I never will! I will never leave you!
Morgan, I know that there’s a part of you that knows
I’ve never hurt you.
I’ve never hurt anyone.
When you’re gone, everyone will know!
And your stranglehold will be no longer!
Stop moving!
Just hold still.
Why? Why, Morgan? What are you going to do?
What do you mean when I’m gone? What are you going to do?
I’m going to kill you, Casey.
Hands up!
Get your hands out of your bag and up in the air.
Hands up, now!
[shouting]
[Morgan grunting]
Ah! [grunting]
Casey, don’t let them hurt me!
[screaming] Help!
Let them help you, Morgan.
[sobbing]
You okay?
[crying]
Casey, you were so brave!
So, brave! Oh, baby!
[sobbing] Oh!
We got him.
[Annette] Thank you, thank you.
[crying] [Leary] You did great.
[laughing]
Do you prefer a little refreshment?
Oh, no. No, thanks. I’m still on duty. Uh-oh. Cha cha cha.
Oh, come on. Take a day off, Detective. Drink it.
All right. I’ll take one.
Thank you. Thank you.
I don’t understand why I wasn’t invited
to watch this whole thing go down.
You? I wish I could have been there
to give that weirdo a few kicks.
Oh, don’t feel left out.
I’m surprised that he fell for it, to be honest.
That was all Casey.
She knew that he couldn’t resist the pattern
of the 50-minute window we left for him every day.
Well, I’ve become an expert at all-things-Morgan.
[laughing, shuddering]
I’m just glad nobody got hurt.
Yeah. Cheers to that.
I got a message from the captain.
The same captain who was so helpful earlier.
Oh, yeah, that guy. Love him.
Yeah, he wanted me to apologize to you on his behalf.
Finally! Good.
And also wants you to meet with the department
about setting up a threat management unit
"whose primary mission will be to provide access to advocates,
"attorneys, judges, law enforcement officers,
"and prosecutors to ensure that protective orders are issued,
served and enforced throughout the state."
I understand if you’re not up to it, though.
No, I can do that.
I don’t want what happened to me to happen to anybody else.
But tell your captain just because I’m helping out
doesn’t make it right, what happened to me.
Copy that.
Annette, is this from our centerpiece?
Maybe.
[laughing]
[Annette] It’s minty. Eww!
Your friends are crazy! [laughing]
I’m going to be lonely without you following me around all the time.
Oh, I think you’ll manage. [chuckles]
And besides, you could always call me.
If you wanted.
You know, if you ever need something, you have my number.
That’s all I’m saying. Hey.
Thank you.
I was just doing my job.
And you’re very welcome.
Hey, Leary. You know, this could make a pretty good story one day.
The young detective who comes to the aid of a distressed damsel
when nobody else believes her.
Could be good. Does he save her in the end?
No. She saves herself.
