but the choices you make in that chair

they are yours to make

and what comes after

that is yours to live with.

Some decisions you will

Why does that make
it feel so much worse?

All I can say is

having empathy for your
adversary is part of the job.

It's either given or it isn't.

recognize us or they didn't care.

Whatever journey they had been through
