She had only been a Christian for a
short while, less than a year.

I met her when a friend from work
invited her to church.

Everything about the Lord was new to
her.

But I could tell that something had
piqued her interest, and I knew that the

Holy Spirit was at work.

I was thrilled when one morning, just at
the close of service, she made her way

down front to make her commitment to
Christ.

And once that commitment was made,

Not only did Jesus become her Lord, but
her life.

Now, Sally loved her friends and family,
especially her husband, Jim.

She was always praying for them and
looking for an opportunity to share the

gospel with them.

Life doesn't always work out the way
that we want it to or the way that we

that it should.

And I don't have any easy answers for
tragedies like this one.

But I do know that Sally is, right now,
the happiest she's ever been.

If you look around here, you can
literally see scores of tombstones and

markers.

Since this is a church cemetery, we can
assume that most buried here were

Christians.

Inevitably, some were not.

Someday, maybe soon, Jesus will return,
and these buried bodies will be raised.

some to eternal life, and some to
eternal punishment.

But we are so grateful that Sally will
be among that first group. Amen?

For as much as it pleased Almighty God
to take the spirit of Sally Bragg, we

therefore commit her body to the ground,
