little shaving cream there and a little

bit in there.

Let's go ahead and just do a couple
little small pushes to get the shaving

into there.

I think it's actually really working.

I'm shocked.

We went for a solid yard without the
sound of death screeching forth from

But why does the hack work?

Breaking down the hack.

The enzymes and other proteins, along
with the fats in the milk, work into the

tools. Today we celebrate one of those
simple household items that truly has

Aluminum foil.

Got a fork but need a spoon?

Wrap a piece of foil around the time.

Yeah, we know it looks crazy, but eating
pudding with a fork, that gets more

stares. All -star.

Ball up a sheet of foil and scrub those
crusty leftovers right off. All -star.

When Pinterest inspiration strikes and
you want to rearrange your living room,

just slide foil under the furniture,
shiny side up. It makes it easy to drag

your couch around the room.

To stop your clothes from static
clinging together, toss a ball of

into the dryer with a load of laundry.

Stack several pieces of foil together,
then slice through them to sharpen dull

scissors. It'll take about an hour, but
you'll have sharp scissors.

To turn AAA batteries into AA's, ball up
a little piece of foil and wedge it

between the battery and the negative
terminal. If you fill the gaps, your

should turn on and you'll never have to
leave the couch again.

To help boost your Wi -Fi signal, fold a
piece of foil into a rectangle, then

bend it into a parabola and put it
behind the router. Now you can tweet

hack that you can't live without.

Some people just can't get their acts
together.

But that shouldn't be your problem. To
protect yourself, you need an act line

defense against the walking disaster.

The walking disaster is the kind of guy
who's... Always spilling things, you

know, like right on your cell phone. But
there's a hack for that. Just toss it

into a plastic bag filled with uncooked
rice and let it sit there for 24 hours.

The rice will absorb the wetness, making
your phone fully functional once again.

The walking disaster is also a total
parking disaster.

So make your garage disaster -proof by
attaching a small ball to a string and

hanging it just above the driver's side.

to mark exactly where to stop before
disaster strikes.

The walking disaster is one of those
people who have a million keys but can

never find the right one.

Well, you can help him figure it out by
color -coding them with nail polish.

And if that doesn't work and he keeps
locking himself out, try this.

Loop a rubber band over the outside
handle, then loop it back over the

handle. It'll keep the door from
latching and the walking disaster from

constantly ringing the bell.

To the hacker, one man's trash is
another man's treasure.

Today I've got three old milk jugs, some
tools, a brush, and some paint.

So let's get hacking.

Put a couple holes in the cap, like so.

And you, my friend, just made a watering
can.

Huh? That's a hack.

You can also use a milk jug to make a
gardening shovel.

All you need is a sharpie, a cutting
implement, some scissors as well. We are

going to cut around here.

Puncture the jug with your cutting tool,
finishing it off with a scissor.

Perfect for a scoop for some raisin
bran. Then just do a little trimming as

needed.

Oh, I know, skeptic.

Kevin, there's no way you could shovel
with that monstrosity that you just

built. Oh!

That's a repurposed milk carton. You can
get in there all day.

Scoop some gelato, scoop some soil,
whatever you want.

Last but certainly not least.

Time for our final hack.

Let's say you're doing some remodeling.
Maybe you're painting a house. You want

a place to store that brush.

So let's cut a hole in this milk jug so
we can store the paint at the same time.

Cut on in.

Paintbrush stands right there.

Take your paint.

Oh, look at that.

Milk jug.

Who knew?

The best part about sports is not the
game, it's eating and drinking in a

parking lot. So, let's tackle some tips
on how to hack your tailgate.

What's scarier than a hungry fan?

Twelve hungry fans.

Here's how to make a lot of food and
fast.

Fill an empty beer cooler with boiling
water, drop in some corn, and in just a

few minutes you'll have a dozen ears
ready to eat.

To help keep all of your condiments
contained, just pack a muffin tin.

When was the last time you made muffins
anyway? Yeah, never.

If you've got a bug problem, find some
coffee filters. Just flip them over the

lip of your cup, poke a hole in the
middle, then act like it's totally

drink beer with a straw.

Your hands are full? Well, don't drop
your drink.

Use a magnet!

Attach one to a beer koozie, then attach
the koozie to your car, and do not

forget to take it off before you drive
home, because the cops frown on that

of thing. Oh, and your dentist asked us
to tell you that if you forgot your

bottle opener at home...

Please don't use your teeth.

Just pop the top with a latch inside
your car door.

And lastly, if you forgot the grill,
just grab a tin can.

Cut slits lengthwise halfway down. Fold
the slits open so you have a bowl shape.

Lay aluminum foil over the top. Add some
charcoal. And finally, put a small

cooling rack over the whole thing. It
doesn't look pretty, but it doesn't have

to. It works.

Congratulations. You just hacked your

Our test subject, clamshell blister
packs on batteries and razors.

Apparently, you take a can opener, you
clamp it down on the side, and just

twist, and it should cut right through
the side of the blister pack. Okay.

Clamped, yeah? Clamped.

Got it locked.

Yeah, there you go. Is that cutting into
it? Yeah.

Do you want to try it? Yeah, let me give
it a whirl.

I feel like I'm just chewing it up now.

It's really simple.

You can get the edge off. I think it'd
be better to open it this way.

Hey, look at that. We have batteries.

This is sloppier than I hoped this would
look.

I agree. I think other packaging is
going to be easier because it has a

more room on the edge. There's a little
more clearance. Okay, I'll try this.

Give it a whirl. I'll open up my lady
razors.

That's a one and done kind of situation.

Boom. Watch out.

This one's so much easier. You can crank
it open and get to shaving your chin,

ladies.

So depending on the packaging, a can
opener is actually a great hack.

It worked. It worked. It totally worked.
Yeah.

So I went camping and got bit by a bunch
of mosquitoes.

Now what?

No problem.

Hold a warm metal spoon against your
skin for several minutes, and the bite

stop itching.

Well, I'd like to eat some soup, but my
spoon's all tied up, keeping my bug

bites from itching. So, now what?

Settle down.

Make a new spoon by folding the lid from
a yogurt container.

Now my yogurt's going to go bad because
I just used the lid as a spoon.

Now what?

I got this.

Freeze leftover yogurt in ice cube
trays, and then use the cubes later to

smoothies. Yeah, but I need to make ice,
and my ice cube tray is full of yogurt.

Now what? No worries. Hack an emergency
ice cube tray using an egg carton and

some aluminum foil.

Yeah, but I have a bunch of leftovers I
need to wrap up, and all my aluminum

foil is being used for an ice cube tray.
Now what?

Would you relax?

Use a shower cap to make a reusable
cover for bowls and colanders.

Just make sure it's a clean shower cap.
I don't want to get my hair wet in the

shower, but now my shower cap is being
used to keep a bowl covered, so.

Now what?

So, hack a shower cap using a plastic
bag. I need to bring some groceries to a

dinner party, but I just used my last
plastic bag to keep my hair from getting

wet. So, now what?

Okay, use a laundry basket for easily
carrying groceries and other items.

Oh, that's not a bad idea.
