indisputably, that's as fine a specimen
of horse flesh as ever I laid eyes upon.

They'll come, all right, as the pilgrims
come to Mecca.

Yeah, but what kind of pilgrims?

Touts, bookmakers, confidence men?

Them too. There'll be an undesirable
element no matter what business you

in. As long as the races are
scrupulously run.

What does it matter?

It's just not people pouring into Scalp
Lock. Not just horses, but money,

friends. Spending money.

They'll need food, shelter, recreational
diversions. Oh, sure.

Ben's looking to turn a buck. But just
remember, it's his money that trickles

down the drain if this venture fails.
