MISTER: The last team challenge,

I'm glad that we had that, you know, talk.

Yeah.

Just get everything out in the clear and,

you know, let's just really focus on

the tasks that we are assigned. You know what I'm saying?

Mm-hmm. Thoroughly.

MISTER: The last team challenge,

a lot of emotions came out.

But I think it was a-a needed discussion, so coming up

to today's challenge, the score is one to one.

Our strategy is to see if we can implement

our communication skills again

and get this win.

Just take our past mistakes into consideration

to make our next challenge better.

SERGIO: Synethia, how you feeling today?

-Feel good. -Yeah?

SYNETHIA: The fact that I had to punch out,

it didn't make me sad

or anything because

I still get to compete with you guys.

-So we can still win money. -You trust us to make you

-some money? -Right.

SERGIO: I love your attitude.

ALY: Jorge,

I'm kind of interested to know about like

how you grew up and stuff

'cause you're super mature for your age,

like you're a year younger than me.

My father passed when I was 12 years old

in a tragic accident.

I'm the big brother, I have a little sister.

And I kind of had to grow up

kind of a lot faster than most people.

-Yeah. -I had to step into that role

as the man of the house.

It was really hard trying to figure out,

you know, who I was.

I had to worry about my sister and my mom,

and my goal the whole time was just to, you know,

be there for them.

We've endured a lot together.

Tough circumstances make, you know, stronger people.

-Yes. -Oh, yeah.

I see a lot of stuff

that needs to be planted.

SERGIO: I already hear Phil.

SERGIO: "Start digging."

I'm glad you've got your wet weather gear on

because you might've noticed it's raining.

[laughter]

I look like Curious George right now in this outfit.

KEOGHAN: Welcome to Devil Mountain Nursery.

They got a million trees here.

The tree-growing business is a billion-dollar business

here in the United States.

Today you guys are going to be pulling trees for an order.

There's a total of 40 trees listed on this work order.

-Whew. -Ten different species.

Wow.

The names are either Latin or Greek.

-[laughter] -There you go.

I'm not so good with the Latin names.

But I know somebody who is.

It's my dad, he's in the garden right now in New Zealand.

He's worked a lot with plants.

He's an agronomist. I'm gonna give him a little call.

Hey, good morning, Dad.

JOHN: Well, it's good morning to you,

just as it's good morning here.

-Say hello to my dad. -[cheering]

[all greeting]

Dad, I was wondering if you could give the

proper pronunciations of these plants that they need to find.

The ten different species.

JOHN: Now, your first one

is ficus nitida.

And it's related to the rubber tree.

The next one is interesting.

It's olea, "Little Ollie."

Which means it's a member of the olive family.

Yeah, Dad, just the names is good.

Of course, well adapted to Mediterranean climate

-such as California. -Yep.

Very drought resistant.

[laughs] We're never gonna get these names.

-[laughter] -JOHN: The next one is

lagerstroemia.

-Okay. -JOHN: The next one is

The New Zealand Christmas tree.

along with a little trailer on the back.

Make your way to the loading dock.

Over at the loading dock, you will see

a plot that shows where all the different

species of trees are.

Figure out what lot your tree is in.

You're gonna be pulling 40 trees.

Got to fill that out that work order

as fast as you possibly can.

Pull your trees, take them to the loading dock,

tie everything down,

and as soon as the driver moves the truck back,

the job will be done.

-[whoops] -Awesome.

You know what's on the line today.

-Yes, sir. -Oh, yeah.

At the loading dock, we want to make sure

that things are running properly,

so we have Aaron, who is here from the nursery,

the director of operations here in Southern California.

Aaron, you've gone through the nursery already

and selected the trees that they need to pull.

AARON: Correct, yeah.

They'll all be marked with a red tag.

The red tag will indicate

the team name

as well as the genus and species

of the tree you're looking for.

Get together, figure out who's gonna be the crew boss

and we're gonna get this job done in the rain.

-MISTER: Yeah. -ALY: Yeah. -JORGE: Yes.

I want to nominate Beth as crew boss today.

Okay, I can do that.

BETH: As an electrician on board the ship,

I have to follow very detail-oriented

diagrams and drawings.

This is definitely in my wheelhouse.

Make sure that you're communicating

every time that you pull a tree.

LARRON: I'm gonna be the crew boss today

if y'all are comfortable with that.

I'm incredibly comfortable with the organization

and details that is gonna be involved in this.

I felt on the last team competition,

I tried to speak up a couple times, but...

nobody listened to me.

We find one, we figure out what the name is,

where it is, how many of them that we need.

I want to prove to my team that I do have the skills

to compete in this competition.

Everybody line up at the top of the road.

-LAURA: Whoo! -KEOGHAN: There they go.

-Okay. -LARRON: There you go.

Just be mindful-- mindful of your trailer.

The way that I'm dividing up the team today

is we're gonna have two teams of three.

We're gonna have Jake, Renée, and Mister on the truck,

and then me, Laura and Ilima in the Kabuto.

We're going to divide and conquer

by even and odd numbers,

so we have a list of ten, um, different plants

that we have to get and the quantities of them.

My team is gonna take the odds,

Jake's team is gonna take the evens.

JAKE: So the directory, it's got thousands of trees on there.

Tristania laurina.

These pens aren't gonna write.

My pen won't write either.

JAKE: Today, in this challenge,

we're given, uh, pens,

it's pouring raining out.

I need anything dry to write on.

We-- I can't write on anything.

All of a sudden, I kind of look down and I'm like, well,

the material on the inside of my jacket

will stay dry.

So, I wrote down, um,

the numbers of the plants, what areas they were in.

What was that last one?

JORGE: Today, we have a list of 40 trees and plants.

You have to really figure out what numbers

are where in the lot of the nursery.

We're comparing them to a map that they gave us.

I'm telling you, write on this.

BETH: Yeah, yeah, yeah. He's got it.

We need to go to 109 and 311.

Radio's on.

KEOGHAN: Already on their way

to start picking up trees.

They've got to get a total of 40 trees.

We're still in 502, so...

SERGIO: Look for the red tags that say Dirty Hands.

We're out and about, searching,

it's like an Easter egg hunt for trees.

I mean, the place is massive, you know?

It's like football fields of trees.

We're a little mind-boggled.

-What's your location? -ALY: 312.

BETH: 312 is number ten on your pick list.

The first impression of the challenge

is that we're gonna be really spread out.

And we're split up in teams of three.

So, it was important that everybody knew

what their job was.

You need to do number six, it's in 310.

Roger that.

ILIMA: 109's right here.

No, I know, we need a second, okay?

LAURA: Yeah, yeah, yeah.

They got different ones all mixed in here.

It's definitely difficult to find these trees.

You got tags all over the place.

You might see some tags, but that might not be your tags.

They might be Dirty Hands' tags, they might be another

customer's tags in there.

Where are you, baby?

-What are we looking for? -Schinus molle.

You know, nine out of ten of us

couldn't pronounce any of these names.

Maferaria. Tuscarara.

Cenus... Pholium...

Malonia... Phona...

Foli-minus.

Lagerstroemia, sunna, something-or-rather.

Metro... Just metro, metro... Something.

[laughs] I can't.

Those are lager-stramis.

-ALY: I got one. -SERGIO: I'm coming around,

SYNETHIA: The trees had to be

anywhere between 50 and 60 pounds apiece.

The soil was soaking wet, it was drenched.

So, that was adding

more weight to the plant.

-JAKE: How many you got? Two? -Two.

Renée, she never quit.

She drug trees

that were seven, eight foot

and had them out and ready. She was just

doing a heck of a job.

Come here! Listen, I got ten already.

Now I'm at lagerstroemia.

We do not have schinus molles.

We've already got four, okay?

Larron is staying very calm as a crew boss

through the entire challenge.

We got to find schinus molle, find schinus molle.

Guys, we got to go back.

We're gonna drop these off and find the next ones, okay?

MISTER: You know, we're all kicking into another gear

So we should be good.

-JORGE: Sergio come back? -BETH: Yeah, they, they...

We were just checking everything off.

And we're pretty confident that we have everything that we need.

KEOGHAN: Frantic work right now from both teams,

they realize what's on the line.

will be taking the lead

in the overall team competition.

me and him are gonna go get them.

I know exactly where that is.

KEOGHAN: Savage Crew leaves

in their truck as Dirty Hands

comes back with what looks like their final load.

BETH: All right, okay, I need to count. What do we got?

When I get back with our final load,

I realize, you know, we're short.

There's supposed to be 40.

-Anybody got that? -BETH: Yeah, that's number 311.

You guys told me that you guys had got it already.

Somehow, someway, the communication

got broken down.

That's all we need.

We got to get it done and get it done now.

Ahh!

Like, I'm having a really hard time.

Because we already thought we had 40.

KEOGHAN: Both teams have one

species of tree to pick up.

-ALY: 311 is here. -Keep your eyes peeled.

What is that? It says Dirty Hands on it.

Oh, we're down there.

KEOGHAN: They've left some teammates behind so they can

start working on tying things down.

Both teams have got to get their

trucks underneath these massive tarps,

drop the tarps down, wrap them up,

first team to get it through this loading bay,

out for delivery wins today's team challenge.

Who's gonna be the first to get back to the loading dock

with their final trees?

What the hell? Where are they?

It's getting down to the last few minutes of this challenge

and I'm feeling like it's gonna be incredibly close.

Uh, "Savage Crew." Boom.

You can spot red real easy.

-Look, they're still looking. -You just cut.

You just cut, I'm gonna bring the truck up.

now we need to make sure

we work as a team, finish getting everything up,

tied down, to be able to pull through and get that tarp on.

and it feels just absolutely amazing.

We had a really rough time, uh, last challenge.

But this team challenge, it was the complete opposite.

I know I could've done a better job,

uh, leading.

It's my fault for not checking.

But instead of following through with what my gameplan was,

I let other people say,

"Hey, we already did that,"

when it wasn't done.

And that is 100%, you know, my fault.

I have a tendency

to let other people push me around instead of

me being the leader that I know I am.

I do believe that

I definitely have what it takes to win Tough As Nails.

I just started my business a year and a half ago,

during the pandemic. I mean, for me to take that chance

with three kids in college,

it was like a big deal for me.

That's why I believe I'm here,

is because I'm a part of not giving up,

working your-your ass off just to get where you are.

I want to make my family proud

and I do not want to go into overtime.

I definitely have to get this challenge done

'cause I don't want my boys to be like,

"Come on, Mom, you're embarrassing us."

[laughter]

SYNETHIA: I'm gonna be your cheerleader on the side.

To give you guys lots of encouragement

You're gonna be my co-commentator today.

Welcome back to Devil Mountain Nursery once again.

Here at the nursery,

one of the things that they're doing

is constantly moving the trees

from one planter box to another.

Today, your job is you are going to be moving a magnolia

from a 15-gallon bucket

and to then put them into a planter

just like this right here.

So, when the work whistle blows,

you are going to build the three by three planter.

All the tools you need to get the job done

are laid out on your work bench.

You got a finished example to look at here.

There are no plans.

Got to look, see how it's constructed,

and put it together yourself.

Aaron is back. And he will be making sure that

every planter box is built properly

before you replant your magnolia.

Now, Jake, you won the first individual competition,

got a prize of $2,000 cash.

-Tell you what we're gonna do. -That's it.

I want you guys to be super competitive.

And I want to reward you for all your hard work.

So, today, we are increasing the reward of your win...

we're fixing up a cabin

that we've had since I was about two years old.

I would measure the actual box, lay out everything,

pre-nail everything.

I just put them in just a little bit.

That way,

when it comes time to put them through,

I can just go boom, boom, boom,

straight down the line,

and finish off one piece.

I have never actually put together a planter box.

But I have fixed many things around my house

doing carpentry stuff, so...

I'm gonna try to take those skills and bring them over.

JORGE: You build a planter box.

And then you have to band it.

As a concrete form setter,

banding is something I do all the time.

So, you know, today I'm confident.

KEOGHAN: Jorge is flying,

rolling out his second band.

Sergio, cinching up a band on his box.

SERGIO: I got off to

a really quick start.

I actually had my box built first.

So I'm like, yeah.

Check.

Aaron, give Sergio a check.

SERGIO: Three grand, baby. Come on.

KEOGHAN: It's not good, Sergio.

Go back to the finished example and have a look.

and that's when I realize that I'm quarter of an inch

to a half inch off

on all of my corners.

KEOGHAN: Has Laura identified her mistake?

I think so, I hope so.

KEOGHAN: Larron wants a check.

KEOGHAN: Everybody, pay careful attention

to the finished example.

If you make a mistake,

you're gonna have to rip everything apart

And I realized that, on my corner,

I had the notches flipped

with the side that doesn't have notches.

All I had to do was flip them.

So, now, I got to hustle,

I got to get this done.

I don't want nobody

to even come close to me.

KEOGHAN: Renée starting to assemble two sides of her box.

taking a clear lead from everybody.

He's the only one that has his assembled correctly.

He was very dramatic about it.

MISTER: My box is complete,

in my eyes.

I have no idea.

ELLERY: I'm looking to see

And I'm not seeing it.

I pounded in them nails in all them edges.

I'm getting very frustrated.

So I'm trying to look at the example planter,

see what I did wrong.

I cannot find it.

I moved them all, got them lined up.

I wanted to set it on fire

and-and burn it right to the ground, honestly.

KEOGHAN: One hour and 20 minutes into this job, everybody.

What did Jorge do that made him right?

ALY: I look over at Jorge and I realize

that I did not put

a big enough overlap on my boards that had my notches.

So, I knew what I had to fix.

Kick these over and then you're golden.

[grunting]

We got a thumbs-up for Jorge! And he's our winner today.

JORGE: It's an overwhelming feeling, you know?

It was my first win.

KEOGHAN: Great work today.

That $3,000 is gonna go to a nice wedding for us.

KEOGHAN: Remember, two of you are going into overtime.

What did Jorge do that you are not doing?

I have no idea.

LARRON: I look at the finished crate

and the only difference

that I can see is that the slats

are on the left side of each panel when it's upright,

versus mine were on the right side when it was upright.

I figured that was the mistake I had made.

-Check. -KEOGHAN: Aly looking for a check.

Wow, our young competitors are showing the older ones up today.

Everything's falling apart.

KEOGHAN: Look at young Aly go!

That's what was wrong with it.

I don't see it.

Blowing my mind.

I started taking my bands off,

all of a sudden I make this move,

a fire starts in my back.

[groaning]

Years ago, I had a back injury.

And usually I don't have any issues,

but I'm in major pain.

Sergio's struggling, oof.

-He's in pain. -[Sergio groans]

-I hope he's okay. -JORGE: Sergio, keep moving, man.

SERGIO: The pain just took over.

I couldn't even stand.

KEOGHAN: Sergio's come to a standstill.

KEOGHAN: An hour and 45 minutes into the job.

Jorge is the only one to have got the job done.

[groaning]

Sergio still struggling with his back.

Can we have the medic look at Sergio?

SERGIO: I'm frustrated, I'm in pain.

I'm thinking, "What can I do to make this go away?"

-[groans] -It's heartbreaking, you know?

SERGIO: I'm thinking I'm tapping out.

I have no choice.

The pain is unbearable.

KEOGHAN: Sergio, you hang in there.

[gasps]

Just got a cramp that won't go away.

Laura looking for a check.

AARON: All four corners are perfect.

Okay, we got another, uh, complete winner box here.

She gets her planter box done.

I'm hearing, "Check, Laura's done."

RENEÉE: Now I'm very frustrated,

but I knew that Jorge was done.

So I did look at Jorge's box

and noticed that the grooves

for the boards had to be on the left side.

My head was like, "No."

Oh, stop doing that.

[grunting]

-[moaning] -KEOGHAN: Mister very frustrated,

MISTER: Oh, my Lord.

This is the longest wood project I've ever been on.

KEOGHAN: Aly carrying this magnolia.

Yes! Nice move, Aly.

Larron puts his magnolia in.

[grunting]

[straining]

KEOGHAN: Aly has her stencil out.

Looking for a thumbs-up and she'll have second place.

And Aaron, do we have a thumbs-up?

We got a thumbs-up.

[cheering]

ALY: I know I'm not winning money,

but it was a confidence booster for me.

-Done. -Aaron, there's another check for Larron.

SERGIO: I hear people close to finishing.

Yes! [whoops]

SERGIO: I don't want to go into overtime.

-[exhales] -I got to keep it together.

I need to finish.

Sergio not giving up, he is back in the game.

-That's right! -KEOGHAN: Sergio! -[cheering]

SERGIO: The fire in my back doesn't compare

to the fire I have in my heart for my brother.

My brother passed away February of 2021.

Unexpectedly.

He had bilateral pneumonia.

He went to the hospital and the last three words

he told me was, "I love you, brother."

Never saw him again after that.

He never came home.

We're all still trying to pick up the pieces.

And right now I can hear my brother saying,

"Bro, keep pushing, keep pushing."

He gives me the strength. Come on, brother.

JORGE: That's right, Sergio. Keep pushing, man.

KEOGHAN: Two hours into this job, everybody.

That's why you're hurting.

-Whew. -Mister struggling.

Doing a dissection.

Renée, don't you give up.

-LARRON: There we go, Jake. -[cheering]

KEOGHAN: She'll be the fifth to finish, safe out of overtime.

-Let's go, Beth. -[whooping]

We got a check with Mister.

-Not... Not good. -KEOGHAN: Thumbs-down for Mister.

MISTER: Hardest part about this planter box:

doing it over.

[crashing]

KEOGHAN: Oh, Mister has a complete and utter collapse

of his planter box.

Scratching his head, thinking,

"How do I get this job done today?"

MISTER: I'm getting in my head.

SERGIO: Don't let it defeat you, Mister.

KEOGHAN: Jake moving on to his stencil.

JORGE: Here we go, Jake.

Don't stop, you got it.

Look at Jake moving.

-Whoo! -KEOGHAN: Jake gets the job done.

LARRON: Good job, Jake.

Two of you going into overtime.

SERGIO: I'm looking at this box and all of a sudden,

I was like, "Oh, shoot."

Put the damn thing on the wrong side.

I finally figured it out.

JORGE: Keep moving, Sergio.

Good job, man.

SERGIO: I fix what I think is wrong.

He's thinking about his brother today, you know that.

SYNETHIA: Come on, Sergio!

Check.

-Yeah, Sergio! -Yeah!

KEOGHAN: All right, the comeback kid

is getting a check.

-Has he got it done right? -You got it, Sergio!

[cheering]

KEOGHAN: And a thumbs-up for Sergio.

Moving on to planting his tree.

-[cheering] -Nice job, man.

ALY: Keep going, Sergio.

Ellery's getting a check.

All right, we're good.

KEOGHAN: And Ellery gets his planter box done.

Let's get your magnolia planted.

-Can I get a check? -I'm starting to get a little frustrated.

My forearms are burning from smashing in all these nails.

I'm just pushing myself through it.

All right, we're good.

And I'm not going into OT today.

KEOGHAN: Sergio is stomping down his soil.

ALY: Yeah, Sergio!

Highly motivated to stay out of overtime

and do this for his brother.

[cheering]

-It's all you, baby. -This whole challenge,

-it was mind over matter. -Get over here, man.

-SERGIO: I don't tap out. -ALY: I'm so proud of you. -Thank you.

I'm here, I'm standing, and I finished.

We were all rooting for you, you know.

KEOGHAN: Only four of you left.

Renée just keeps on working, she does not give up.

ELLERY: I had just came off

an overtime.

I'm gonna make sure that I don't go back

to another overtime.

Ellery's good.

Ellery gets the job done.

ILIMA: Dang, man.

I'm in the last three.

You know, I can hear my kids telling me,

"Mom, you got this."

KEOGHAN: Ilima spraying on her stencil.

And Ilima gets the job done.

[cheering]

MISTER: I'm just kind of reflecting on what went wrong out there.

I kind of got in my own way.

I'm in overtime with my teammate.

Renée is, you know, a very hard worker.

She is definitely not to be underestimated.

-Man. -One of us is gonna have to clock out.

Kind of heartbreaking.

JAKE: Come on, you got a spot there.

RENEÉE: I did keep plugging away.

Then time just lapsed.

Mister is very strong.

And I do have to dig deep and find something

that's gonna give me an edge over him.

Way to not give up.

Hey, way to not stop, guys.

Big day today. There was a

stumble today, Renée, for you.

Attention to detail.

You're trying to go fast because you see

Jorge has put his tray in, I'm like, "What?"

-You know, then, you know... -[laughter]

You never stopped. And, Mister, what happened with you?

My box just started falling apart.

-Oh. -And then I fell apart, so...

KEOGHAN: Both of you have a chance

to fight your way back into this individual competition.

Everybody ready for overtime?

-Yeah! -All right, let's get to it.

RENEÉE: Going into overtime,

I'm planning on coming out ahead.

I'm a fighter, I'm not gonna stop.

I know that there's a lot of people that underestimate me.

But I definitely want to show that I'm strong.

And show that I know what I'm doing.

And I'm not gonna lose today.

MISTER: Earlier today, I almost gave up.

I do put a lot of pressure on myself.

But I just need to stay focused and just

get out of my own way.

I think it's my duty to think about my family,

you know, back home--

the reason why I came.

This is just one of those moments

that it's all on the line.

So, I'm not punching out today.

[cheering]

Welcome to overtime.

Now, your job today

is you are going to be repotting some plants.

Using these machines right here, when that work whistle blows,

you have to identify four different plants.

You're gonna find a board next to your work areas that have

a number of plants identified

with photographs and their Italian names.

You'll find the plants in these piles right here.

You need to get six of each.

Once you have properly identified all 24 plants,

bring them over to your canning machine

and begin recanning them.

What'll you do is you'll take some soil, put it into

one of the bigger pots and repot the plants.

Move them along the conveyer belt and then load them

onto the trailers.

Once you have all 24 plants on your trailers,

the first of you to start up your engines

and pull out of here will stay in contention

for the Tough As Nailstitle.

If you are last, you will be punching out.

Aaron is back to oversee your job.

Ready to get to work?

-Ready. -Yes.

To your workstations.

On the work whistle.

[work whistle blows]

[cheering]

ILIMA: You got this, guys.

MISTER: You have to find

four species

of different trees and bushes

in a group of

60 other trees, by picture.

KEOGHAN: Mister's lined up six of his Little Ollies.

LAURA: Good job, Auntie Renée.

[cheering]

KEOGHAN: That's it, Renée.

RENEÉE: As a mason, I do this at work all the time.

I know what an olea is and I know what a magnolia is.

I want to pick those first and then

I'm just gonna try to look at the leaves and figure out

-the other two. -You guys got this.

ILIMA: It's very difficult to watch your two family members

compete in OT.

I mean, they're both pot for pot.

Let's go, baby, let's go.

-[cheering] -Focus on you!

KEOGHAN: Mister and Renée, neck and neck.

-Can I get a check? -AARON: Yep.

You got seven of the Little Ollies.

So you got to put one back.

-KEOGHAN: We good? -AARON: Mister's good.

MISTER: Now that I have all these plants and trees,

I can just focus on replating them in the new buckets.

Then I'll load them up on my trailer until I'm done.

-We're good over here? -We're incorrect here.

You need the arbutus marina.

[cheering]

KEOGHAN: Come on, Renée, you got to fix that mistake.

RENEÉE: I picked up the wrong plants.

I got to, like, start really moving.

KEOGHAN: Mister's already started repotting his Little Ollies.

Plenty of time, Renée.

KEOGHAN: Come on, Renée, you can still do this.

-SYNETHIA: You got this, Mister. -JORGE: Come on, Mister.

KEOGHAN: There you go, Renée. Okay.

Renée with 24 of the plants.

AARON: You're good, you're good to go.

[cheering]

KEOGHAN: Recanning begins.

-She's two pots behind. -ILIMA: Let's go, Mama, let's go.

RENEÉE: Mister is a little bit ahead of me.

So I have to pick up the pace, right now.

[cheering]

KEOGHAN: Stamping down that soil.

And she's going all the way to the end of her conveyer belt.

There you go!

Dude, she just ripped that out.

RENEÉE: I'm trying to do three things at once.

Pick up the plant, grab the pot, put it down, and hit,

and then start patting down, then I put it in again.

So, you know, you get into a rhythm.

-[cheering] -ILIMA: Go, Renée!

KEOGHAN: Mister's got two, he's working on his third.

MISTER: I'm tunnel vision, it's just me, dirt and a bucket.

And that's all I'm doing.

KEOGHAN: There are right there.

Let's go, let's go.

KEOGHAN: She's tied it up.

Mister with four done, Renée working on her fifth.

[cheering]

You only get one shot.

KEOGHAN: Renée has gone slightly ahead of Mister at this point.

[cheering]

MISTER: I'm sweating

like all get-out.

I'm just trying to move my feet

and hands as fast as I could.

LAURA: Keep up the good work!

Ooh, she's got a lot of soil in that one.

Yeah, I did.

KEOGHAN: It made it very difficult

for her to get her root system

down into the pot.

ILIMA: Slow and steady. You got this, Mama, you got this.

KEOGHAN: Mister rolling four plants down the conveyer belt.

ALY: Let's go, Renée.

Let's go, Mister.

ALY: Mister put four plants

across on the trailer

and had to do that to fit everything.

And Renée didn't take that into account.

She had them three across.

ILIMA: You got this, Mister. Don't lose it.

Don't lose your plant.

-SERGIO: Whoa, whoa. -[others exclaiming]

ILIMA: You got this, Mister. Don't lose it.

-Don't lose your plant. -Whoo! -Whoa.

-[others exclaiming] -ILIMA: Good catch, Mister.

KEOGHAN: Renée sliding her fourth magnolia onto the trailer.

Mister working on his fifth magnolia.

They're going plant for plant at this point.

But she's got to make room on her trailer.

She's got to get six more plants on there.

Looks like she's running out of room.

She's gone three wide instead of four.

Come on, Renée, you're still in the game.

KEOGHAN: Oh, did she slide them over nicely?

Renée making room.

Four plants left for Renée.

[cheering]

And there's four left for Mister.

LAURA: Come on, get on them, Renée. Keep working...

JORGE: Let's go, keep moving.

SERGIO: Are you kidding me right now?

My hands are sweating watching.

-[groans] -[cheering]

KEOGHAN: Mister wants it bad.

Renée, you want this?

RENEÉE: Oh, my God, this is like so close,

so I'm trying to go even faster.

Ahh!

-Go. -JORGE: There you go, Mister.

KEOGHAN: Mister with two more to get onto his trailer.

MISTER: We're neck and neck.

I'm pushing it.

LAURA: Keep working on you, Renée.

Keep working on you.

MISTER: I get my last one on there, it barely fit.

KEOGHAN: He gets it on.

-Mister, up onto his truck. -[cheering]

-LAURA: You got this. -SERGIO: Fire it up, baby.

[engine idling]

ALY: Let's go, baby!

[cheering]

KEOGHAN: Mister moves his trailer across the line!

Bring it in, Mister. Bring it in.

LAURA: Come on, Mister.

Oh, he's gonna be proud of that.

MISTER: Going into OT,

I wanted to get out of my own head.

And I'm just so happy.

And excited.

LAURA: Here we go, Renée, finish it up.

ILIMA: Great job, Renée.

KEOGHAN: It's been a tough day emotionally.

You were getting really disheartened, but, uh,

you showed that you have true grit.

It's a lot on the line, man.

What is on the line for you?

A legacy.

I feel like if I lose,

my family won't look at me the same.

Do you really believe that?

No, but... that's what I put on myself.

[laughter]

Why have you put that pressure on yourself, Mister?

I just feel like it's my duty to... to keep the family going.

My parents raised me right.

Uh...

My dad had, um...

a heart transplant a couple years ago.

And, uh...

just for him to still be living here on earth is, uh,

is a blessing.

I-I just can't let him down.

So, I put it all on the line for him.

To see my dad dwindle in his health was very heartbreaking.

I don't know what I would do if he would...

would've passed away.

I didn't come here to punch out today.

and I'm not giving up on you.

But, you know, I just want my kids to know life isn't easy.

or you have a little smile through these hard bumps,
