the all-new 2019 Chevrolet Blazer RS,

a once-in-a-lifetime trip for two around the world,

a quarter of a million dollars cash,

and The Amazing Race Canada.

Today, this city at the top of Lake Superior

will act as the starting point as four teams battle it out

for a spot in the finale of the Amazing Race Canada.

We have four wins so far,

and we felt bad for the other teams,

so that's why we gave them some wins.

Dave and Irina won the last leg of the race...

Located just over 90 kilometres northwest of Halifax,

Wolfville in the Annapolis Valley is known for its delicate

micro-climate that's perfect for apple orchards and wineries.

And we're gonna try to break this tradition

of going down after you win,

and gonna try to win the next two legs consecutively.

We are top four, which is crazy,

but even better than being top four is being top three

and having the opportunity to win The Amazing Race Canada.

As athletes, we have been through so much.

We've both been through so many injuries,

but we worked hard and came back,

even though doctors told us it couldn't be done,

and we are so determined to represent Canada

at the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo,

and that's what strength is to us.

We've eared our right to be here.

Being able to survive in this race with Anthony

just shows that we are a strong team.

overlooking the Minus Basin in Grand Pre.

When they arrive, they'll search the grounds for their next clue.

Been here a couple of times to teach some martial arts.

The Tangled Garden transforms herbs and fruits

into jams and jellies made from all-natural ingredients.

First, racers must search the garden

for these seven herbs.

Once they've identified them,

they must correctly match these jams and jellies

with the herb that was used to make them.

Once they've tasted success,

and correctly identified each herb,

Beverly will give them their next clue.

After running around the garden for like seven

different herbs and it's...

In this detour, teams will get a chance to experience

one of two activities

that will really get to the core of their skills.

Puck or Apples.

Puck requires teams to make their way

to Acadia University campus,

and search for the Andrew H. McCain Arena.

Once here, they'll hit the ice and test their skills

at the face-paced Paralympic sport of sledge hockey.

Yeah, woo-hoo!

Once here, teams must suit up,

and get strapped into these two-bladed,

specially designed sleds, or sledges.

Then, they'll hit the ice for some team practice.

When they're ready to attempt, they will each have to skate,

pass, shoot, and score a goal in this sledge hockey drill,

all in under one minute.

Once they've completed the drill and scored on net,

Hilary will give them their next clue.

Teams that choose Apples will be working on a completely

different type of core challenge.

Oh, yeah.

First, teams must make their way to Noggins Corner Farm Market,

just outside of Wolfville.

In this detour,

teams will have the arduous task of sorting

12 different varieties of these very similar looking

Annapolis Valley apples.

Teams will have to sort through this giant bin containing

an assortment of apples to correctly identify

these 12 specific varieties.

Once all the apples have been successfully sorted, separated,

and are ready for sale, Caroline will give them their next clue.

If you choose the wrong detour,

it could get you eliminated.

Using the truck's next-generation

rearview camera system, teams will first reverse up

to five clues that each spell out a stanza of the lyrics

to the famous East Coast anthem,

"Farewell to Nova Scotia."

When all the lyrics have been transcribed and placed

in the correct order, teams will then hitch their trucks

to this trailer filled with cases of beer and deliver it

to the Church Brewing Company in downtown Wolfville.

Here, they'll hit the stage,

and perform their rendition of this famous folk tune.

Once they've serenaded these locals,

they'll receive their next clue.

We never got the chance to travel in our own country.

We've travelled all around Europe, Asia,

and now we notice that Canada is really beautiful.

I just love discovering our country like that.
