Today, the land of the living skies

will act as the starting point for six teams,

as they continue the adventure of a lifetime

on The Amazing Race Canada.

Anthony and James won the last leg of the race,

and will depart first at 3:29 am.

Route info. Fly to Toronto, Ontario.

Once there, board a bus to your next destination.

Teams must travel from Saskatchewan back to Ontario,

where they'll touch down at Toronto Pearson

International Airport, and then board a bus

to a mystery location.

Anniversary!

We got married during the Vancouver marathon.

We wanted to do something fun and different.

So today we're gonna be racing in our tuxedos.

James is my missing puzzle piece.

We fill in each other's strengths

and weaknesses really well.

Our goal is to be on the first bus.

as our reminder that when we are struggling,

we must remain persistent in what we're doing.

more than 2,200 kilometres from Saskatoon to Toronto.

When they touch down, they'll race to this signup board

to get on one of two buses carrying three teams each.

Here they'll be able to stock up on an assortment of Clif Bars

to keep them energized along the race.

from Toronto to an unknown location

on one of two buses departing 10 minutes apart.

And the windows of each bus have been blacked out,

leaving all teams in the dark about their next destination,

Kitchener-Waterloo.

These twin cities are the centre for technological innovation

and higher learning.

Once known as Berlin, Kitchener-Waterloo is host

to the second largest Octoberfest celebration

in the entire world.

We're on our way somewhere we don't know,

headed west right now.

Not knowing where we're going

definitely adds to my stress.

This race is just stress for me.

We're excited because we're on the first bus.

We need the extra time. We have a Speed Bump.

The fact that we are here in our home province

feels pretty good.

It's no fun when you don't know where you're going,

and this whole race has been that way,

so life is a surprise, man. Have some fun.

I'm kind of used to not having any control

because of said person.

I have no idea where we are, when lo and behold,

on one of the buses I see "Kitchener-Waterloo."

Here we are in Kitchener.

A whole new ballgame.

Teams must now head to The Museum,

a 55,000 square foot interactive and playful space

to find Spectrum, an exhibition that explores

the wonderful world of colour.

Once here, racers will have a ball,

as they dive into this massive pit

containing over 30,000 green balls,

one team member at a time.

When they've retrieved one of these 12 red or yellow

race coloured balls, they'll receive their next clue.

The Museum, let's go. Let's go!

- Let's go! - They're all ahead of us.

In this Detour, teams will get a chance to experience

an old-school celebration or a new school innovation.

Teams that choose beer fest will make their way

to the Concordia Club, which has been

at the centre of German heritage in Kitchener-Waterloo

for over a century.

- Prosit! - Prosit!

Teams will choose a table of 10 guests,

and take their individual beer orders.

Then they'll hit the taps to pour the drinks

while their guests get up for a dance.

When the guests return from the dance floor,

they'll all sit in different seats,

and racers will need to ensure that all 10 dancers

get their exact drink order.

Once everyone has been served a proper brew,

Bear the Mayor will give them their next clue.

In robot quest, teams will make their way

to the University of Waterloo and search

the E7 Engineering Complex that houses the Robohub.

My battery is now fully charged.

In this Detour, racers will push each other's buttons

as they work together, and communicate complicated

instructions to navigate their male robot

through this obstacle-filled maze.

One racer will operate the robot from the Robohub,

while the other racer is stationed

in another part of the building, next to the maze.

The racers close to the robot will give robot control

instructions to their partner, who cannot see

what is happening, via the only means of communication,

a walkie-talkie.

And once teams start, they cannot switch positions.

My battery will soon need recharging.

Once their robot reaches the finish line,

Calisto here will give them their next clue.

to create vehicles that will revolutionize the way we drive

for generations to come.

In this Speed Bump, Trish and Amy are going to experience

the future, as they take part in the auto drive challenge

in this autonomous driving Chevrolet Bolt EV.

The team that arrives first will have the advantage

of picking which one of these Dempster's signature plates

to recreate.

First, teams will have one minute to visually study

this complicated dish.

Then, without the help of a recipe,

they'll have 15 minutes to use these ingredients

to perfectly recreate every exacting detail of the dish,

entirely from memory.

For the team with the perfect recreation,

they will win the Faceoff and can continue with the race,

while the losing team must wait for another team to arrive,

before they can wrap, roll or bake again.

on either side, in order to determine

the distance the ball drops.

Once teams find the value for D, in a range between

41 and 49 feet, they'll receive their next clue.

as they race to the seventh Pitstop of the race,
