Previously on the Amazing Race Canada Heroes Edition...

Mexico, baby!

...five teams raced to Mexico City...

Ole, ole!

Mexico!

...where a video message from their heroes

gave teams an emotional lift.

Hi, Mom.

This one's all about heroes,

and you know how you're a hero to me.

That's the motivation I honestly needed right now.

A roadblock launched Dylan and Kwame

into an early lead...

- Let's go! - My new favourite sport.

...but bounced Courtney and Taylor to the back of the pack.

I'm very frustrated at this point.

A face-painting detour

proved to be a walk in the dog park for some.

We gotta make up some time here.

Oh!

And the melodrama at the telenovela

allowed Dylan and Kwame to get their act together,

and pushed them over the top

into their first win of the race.

Ha!

- Okay, stop. - That's them there.

Oh!

A dramatic three-way race to the mat...

Come on! Run, run, run!

- Oh... - Oh!

...sent Nancy and Mellisa home.

I have a new family member.

It's been an absolute pleasure.

Now, four teams remain as they race to win

the all-new 2018 Chevrolet Traverse Red Line,

a once-in-a-lifetime trip for two around the world,

a quarter of a million dollars cash,

and The Amazing Race Canada.

This is Mexico City, Mexico.

Today, the largest Spanish speaking city in the world

will act as the 10th starting point,

as four teams race for a spot in the finale,

and a chance to win

The Amazing Race Canada Heroes Edition.

Dylan and Kwame won the last leg of the race...

Ha!

...and will depart first at 8 am.

Fly back home to Canada,

and land in Fredericton, New Brunswick.

Teams will now fly from Mexico City

to the provincial capital Fredericton, New Brunswick.

Once home to a British garrison...

Order!

...the area's connection to the roots

of the Canadian military remain strong,

as CFB Gagetown lies just outside of Fredericton.

Let's go.

- Going home, baby. - Feeling this.

- We're feeling this right now. - We're going home.

For the first time, we're starting in number one, baby.

This is the semi-finals. Guess what?

We peaked at the right time.

And we're gonna conquer, simple as that.

Fredericton, New Brunswick.

Yeah, back to Canada!

Taxi!

Leg 10, double digits. Wow.

Who would have ever though, man?

But it happened.

We are thankfully going back to Canada.

It is where we run our strongest legs.

It is.

Even though we've won four legs,

we don't feel like we have any sort of advantage

over the other teams. It's anybody's race.

We know we have to fight for our spot in the finale.

- Let's run and find a taxi. - Alright, let's...

There's tons of taxis coming this way.

- Is there? - There was.

There's only room for three teams in the finals,

and we are gonna squeak our way in there.

- Oh, yeah. - We are like cats.

We have 9 lives!

All teams are now traveling close to 5,000 kilometres,

via Toronto, back to Canada,

where they'll touch down in Fredericton, New Brunswick.

Let's go! Let's go!

- Let's go. - Taxi, taxi.

We are headed to Officer's Square.

Yeah!

When they arrive, they'll make their way

to the Officer's Square in the historic Garrison District.

Fire!

Here, teams' powers of observation are put to the test,

as they take in the Royal Canadian Regiment's

iconic changing of the guard.

Racers must watch two seemingly identical ceremonies,

one taking place here at Officer's Square,

and another a few blocks away, in front of the city hall.

Guard!

They must spot the one difference.

At Officer's Square, the guards take an extra step.

Once racers think they have the answer,

they must inform the commander,

who will give them their next clue.

Fire!

Hoo!

We'll probably need you here for a bit.

You don't mind waiting for us?

Thanks, Mike.

Halt!

Left! Turn!

Open order!

March!

Twisting right!

Watch which way they turn their heads.

- Okay. - Watch their legs,

if they're forward.

My brother is highly meticulous and organized.

I just watch everything, who's moving when,

which arm or which leg they're moving.

Right! Turn.

March.

Okay, let's go to the other one.

- City hall is this way. - This way, this way.

You want to take the taxi?

- Yeah. - City hall.

Yeah, city hall.

- Okay, come on, Phil. - Okay.

Guard open order!

March!

Guard with fix bayonets.

Fix bayonets!

Over here.

A good little jog, eh?

Yeah.

Repel!

Yes, I spotted it! Let's get a check.

Come on, Nuna! Push it!

Phil and Martina took off.

Hi.

After the repel at Officer's Square,

the men in the back row take three steps forward,

where at city hall, they take two steps forward.

Congratulations.

Thank you!

Detour. Fit of Fly.

Teams must now make their way

to the Canadian Forces Base Gagetown,

the second largest military base in the country.

This detour will give teams a chance to experience

what it takes to train like the brave men and women

of our armed forces.

It's their call, Fit or Fly.

Fit requires teams to join the ranks,

and put themselves to the test,

as they complete a race version of the military's annual

force fitness exams.

- Halfway there. - Augh!

Racers will need to learn how to correctly perform

a set of four physically demanding exercises:

20-metre rushes,

sandbag lifts, intermittent loaded shuttles,

and a sandbag drag.

Only one racer can complete this set of exercises

at any given time,

and both racers must correctly perform all of them

in a combined time of under 18 minutes.

If they fail to follow any of these rules,

they'll fail the challenge, and they'll both have to start

the process over from the very beginning.

Once teams have proven themselves to be force fit,

one of the instructors will give them their next clue.

In Fly, racers will climb aboard the state-of-the-art

Griffon helicopter full-motion flight simulator.

After a short demonstration, they will take the controls

and take off in a simulated flight

over the city of Montreal.

Armed with a map, they will have only five minutes

to locate the Bell Centre, and land on its roof.

Once they touch down,

Major Derochers will give them their next clue.

And teams must choose wisely,

as this is a limited stations detour

with only two spots available at both Fit and Fly.

Let's do Fly.

We're gonna go to the Canadian Forces Base.

- As fast as you can. - As fast as you can.

- We're in a race, right? - We're in a race.

Cavalry repel!

- Okay, are you watching? - Yeah.

I'm paying attention to the drummer and the gun,

and Dylan's paying more attention to the steps.

Okay, let's try it.

When the men in the front go down on one knee,

the gentlemen behind them have more steps at Officer's Square

than they do on the other side.

- Yes. - Let's go Fit.

Cab, cab, cab! Over there!

Let's go! Play to win!

499, you're cleared for takeoff.

10-4.

Simulator, flight simulator building!

- Hi. - Hi.

We're excited.

You've got a strap here.

That is your seatbelt.

You're gonna need it for this ride.

Being inside the simulator seems super real.

If you are not feeling good,

you've got a motion sickness bag right here.

Like, this is legit.

Okay, I'll drive. You navigate, okay?

Okay. We're ready.

2, 1... Go.

Yup.

Go up.

What's going on?

- How do I go back? - The other pedal.

Push the left pedal 'cause we're spinning right.

You're pushing it so much. Just be super gentle.

- Okay. - There's the city.

I want to go higher.

Instead of going higher, just go straight.

I'm trying. It's not like I'm not.

Left pedal. You're doing great, Phil.

Oh, god.

Oh, shoot.

This is hard.

Practice makes perfect.

Looks like we're pulling up.

Hey, yo... This is gonna be fun.

Let's do it!

Alright, guys, welcome to your fit test.

Read the boards.

One of you has to do the entire thing, all four components,

and then the next person goes, all four components,

- combined time of 18 minutes. - Okay.

Going into this physical challenge,

we feel confident because this is our strong suit.

Is this 15 right, 15 left, or 15 each?

Lift each sandbag 15 times.

So 30 total.

But there's a lot to remember,

and if we miss any of these rules,

we have to start the entire course from the beginning.

Can we just focus on our details?

We don't want to do this twice.

- Okay, 18 minutes? - 8, 15, 10,

and then 20 metres. Alright, let's go.

On my count.

Let's go, brother!

3, 2, 1, go.

Just move, baby! Just move, baby!

Nice work. Keep going, keep going!

Keep going! You're good!

Details, details.

How was that?

That's a fail. Do it again.

Christ! I just went 15!

I was supposed to do each bag 15.

That's okay. I'm not tired yet.

I'll do it next time.

Okay, now I think I've got it.

The back rank takes three steps forward at Officer's Square,

but only two at City Hall.

Congratulations.

Okay, we'll do Fit.

I think I know.

Is it after the reform the amount of steps that they take?

Three steps here, two at City Hall?

Thank you so much.

Can we hop in with you?

Is the car still there?

- Yup. - No, no.

They're trying to take our cab.

Fitness? Let's go.

No, I'm with Courtney here.

That's our cab!

Sorry, guys.

Loyalty.

Mike, you are a gem.

- Here we go. - Sweet.

It doesn't feel good to be in last.

We're not used to being last.

Ah!

This is really hard.

- Oh! - Oh, shoot.

- Do you want me to try it? - Yeah, maybe you try.

Here, you hold it. Okay, here I go, okay?

Just to there.

- Here? - Yeah.

Yeah, good, Nuna, good. This is awesome.

Where am I going?

Go more to the left, I think.

It's gonna be in between these buildings somewhere.

It's gonna be in between

- these buildings somewhere? - Where is this?

Where is this?

We might be like right on top of it.

Back up a little bit so we can see forward.

I don't know how to back up.

- Oh, okay. - Hold on.

Just hold on.

- Time's up. - What happened?

- Five minutes. - Oh.

- We'll do it again. - Yeah.

This must be it here.

Still okay to wait?

Thank you. Hope nobody's gonna steal him.

"Perform the next trip around the cone without the sandbag."

We chose this detour because we're thinking that

this is something that we might be able to excel at it.

We've trained for it, and we're both fairly fit individuals.

Finish strong. Finish strong.

There you go.

That's a fail. You have to read the board.

Details are tough.

It's tough to remember when you're...

when you're going so hard.

Do you see anybody there?

Detour is full?!

Crap!

Fly some helicopters?

I don't imagine I'm gonna be good at it.

Like I'm not good at video games, you know?

If we stay here, we have to wait for Dylan and Kwame

or Courtney and Adam to finish the challenge.

We gotta read that board, memorize it,

I think, and then go run the course.

That could take a while.

Being in last place right before the finale,

we're freaking out.

We just gotta make a decision now.

I don't know what to do.

Detour is full?!

You wanna go fly some helicopters?

We just gotta make a decision now.

We're in last place, and every second counts.

We could be waiting here a long time,

so we're gonna switch.

At least we're doing something

at the helicopter simulator,

instead of just sitting there like... just waiting.

- Good job, babe! - Let's go, man!

Let's go!

15! Good job, babe.

- That's it? - Yeah, good job.

That's a fail. Go read the board.

15 each side.

Each side? Oh, boy.

Hey, you've been through worse!

You've been through worse! Let's go!

- Now you got it! - There you go!

That's right.

Fail. You need to read the board.

You gotta run right after.

There it is.

Yeah, all the way straight. Perfect.

Cool!

Look at that thing. It's huge.

We have like 30 seconds. It's over there!

- Where! - To the right.

To the left, to the left. 12 o'clock, 12 o'clock.

- 12 o'clock, 11 o'clock. - Shh, shh...

But you see it, right? Do you see it?

Okay, land it.

I don't know how to land it.

Slower, slower, slower.

- I'm trying, I'm trying! - Slower, slower.

I'm trying.

- Oh, we did it! - Yes, yes!

- We did it! - Okay, stop, stop.

Oh, no, what happened? What happened?

Time's up.

Oh, my god, I'm sorry!

No, Nuna, don't worry about it.

You're good.

Hey, guys. How's this going?

Oh, it's going.

It's okay.

We made a couple mistakes early,

but we fixed what we need to do.

He's gonna get it this time. Then it's my turn.

Okay, you got it. You got it.

My body is done right now,

but I'm just thinking back to my childhood.

I was raised on a naval base in Ghana, West Africa.

Just started thinking about my father, who was in the navy,

and my grandfather, who was in the army,

and I want to make them proud.

There we go.

Let's go, baby!

All the way!

Keep going! Keep going!

Keep going! Keep going!

Come on!

Feeling good. Feeling great.

Sometimes you gotta pick up the shovel and work.

Simple as that.

Let's go!

Let's do it!

My lower back. Ah!

Don't listen to your body, man!

You don't feel nothing! You're strong!

You're powerful! Let's go, baby!

The kids are watching you!

Northern Elite's watching you!

Fort McMurray's watching you!

Let's go, man! Let's go!

You got this! Let's go!

Get across that line! Let's go!

Keep pushing! Keep pushing!

Don't stop till I tell you to stop!

Keep going! Push!

Push, push, push, push, push!

Let's go! Let's go!

Let's go! That's what I'm talking about!

Alright!

Let's hit the hardwood for another faceoff!

Canadians have won for than 1,000 medals

at the Paralympic Games since first competing in 1968,

including several podium finishes

in wheelchair basketball.

In this faceoff, teams will go head-to-head

as they compete in a game.

Yeah! Woo!

With the help of one of these players,

who can pass but can't block or score,

the racers will hit the hardwood for a 15-minute

half-court game of 3-on-3 wheelchair basketball.

The team with the most points at the end of the game,

will win the faceoff,

and three-time Paralympic gold medalist Dave Durpo

will give them their next clue.

The last team will have to wait out a pre-determined penalty

before they can keep on racing.

Thank you, guys!

Thank you for everything you guys do!

This is the Amazing Race Canada Heroes Edition,

so to be able to do this challenge

with our Canadian Armed Forces cheering us on,

that was special.

- Thank you! - Come on!

Oh, we didn't make our cab wait for us.

There's a cab right there.

How are you doing, sir? Can you take us somewhere?

I'm with Adam and Courtney.

Oh, can you call us a cab, then?

I'll call you one, yes.

- Thank you. - What an idiot.

Okay, babe. Good job.

Two loaded!

Yeah, I do lifting at work.

I lift patients, but Adam is 10 times more fit than me,

and he is gassed, so I'm a little bit nervous.

My bladder hurts the most.

I gotta pee so bad.

Past the line, right.

Yeah.

Good job, babe! You're killin' it!

Fail.

No, no, no, no, no.

Babe, all the way behind the line!

That's exhausting.

You want to switch this or what, babe?

Okay, why don't you go while I rest?

Well, I don't want to screw this up.

I think she can do it, but not more than once,

so you gotta perfect it.

Okay, so do we go look at the sign or what?

Let's make a decision here.

I'm not sure I'm capable of this,

but Dylan and Kwame are gone.

We don't know where the other teams are.

At this point, it would be a huge risk to switch detours.

There's limited stations at both places.

Yeah, so I think we're stuck here.

Alright, I'm gonna give it a try.

You got this, babe.

Alright, I'll keep an eye out for the Bell Centre,

- okay? - Okay.

I feel good navigating this.

It's how we ran our whole race,

and I think Tay probably feels better in the game-boy spot.

Try not to crash into anything.

Dude, you're killing it!

All my down time, I tend to play some vids,

some video games with the fellas.

I'm not sure if it's gonna help me, but...

Probably won't hurt.

No, it's not gonna hurt.

Okay, let's come around more to the left here.

Oh, it's right there.

- Did you see it? - Yeah.

Sweet. Just keep banking, keep banking.

It's lower.

Good! Good job.

So close.

So smooth.

Whoa, whoa, easy.

Easy.

Landing definitely isn't the easiest.

Almost there.

A-ha-ha!

First try! That was wicked!

- Congratulations. - Thank you so much!

Oh, my god. They got it.

How did they get it on their first try?

Ay-yay-yay-yay-yay!

- See you, guys. - Good job, good job.

- See you later. - Bye.

Faceoff. Basketball, okay!

Dude, you killed that!

I want to know how much those cost,

because imagine putting one of those in your basement.

Yeah, he's right there.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, there's our cab.

We're hoping you know how to get to UNB.

- Yeah. - Let's go.

4, nice.

- Oh! - 5.

I'm exhausted, I'm sweating,

but we want to get to the finale,

and the pressure is all on my shoulders right now.

One more, Courtney!

That's it, girl! Yes!

Babe, babe, more! Breathe!

That's it! Let's go, baby!

Keep pushing, okay? That's it, baby!

You got this!

That's it. Little light trot, light trot.

Babe, this is the last one.

I need you to really dig deep on this one!

It's tough.

Pick it up from your chest.

Just lean, babe.

That's a fail. Start again.

Fail?!

We're switching detours, then.

Oh, we're gonna switch detours, I guess.

That's such a piss-off!

I don't even know what I did wrong!

You didn't pick the bag up like this.

I thought she was gonna give it to you

because you were dying.

I don't think I can do that.

I don't think I can lift that thing up.

Okay, then we're done. Let's move on.

Aah! I hate this.

- Do you have that clue? - No.

It's in my pants. I'll be right back.

Go!

Hurry up!

The University of New Brunswick?

Yeah, really cool.

I think we're the first team here, which is cool.

Oh, my... this is not gonna be easy.

Sorry, sorry.

I've never been in a wheelchair,

and I don't know how to play basketball.

Oh, god.

I love this faceoff coming up.

It's us against them, man, and we're all fighting for a spot

in the finals right now.

Some people crack under pressure.

We thrive under pressure.

I'm feeling this right now.

Okay, right here.

Dylan and Kwame walk in.

We're gonna get slaughtered.

No way.

Those guys have arms bigger than my neck.

Dribble away from me!

Court.

Oh, my goodness.

Yes!

Yeah, dude!

- Shoot that. - Woo!

Tay!

Woo!

That's what I'm talking about!

I had no idea Taylor was a baller.

Come on, Martina.

- Whoa! - Yes!

- Oh, what happened? - Too fast.

Okay, we'll try it again.

I can actually get the helicopter off the ship

and towards the Bell Centre.

We did it! We did it!

- Oh! - We crashed.

But I'm having the worst time landing it.

Slow down, slow down.

Augh! Oh.

You have to do a U-y.

- I have to do a U-y? - Yeah.

Talk to me.

I'm just feeling like really car sick.

How do I make it stop spinning?

Your feet. It's your feet.

Oh, god.

Oh, what am I doing wrong?

Is the flight simulator over here?

There's still cabs here, so that's good.

We know Taylor and Courtney have left,

and Dylan and Kwame have already left,

so it's just again,

race to the back of the pack between Phil and Martina,

and myself and Courtney.

Hopefully, we can just get this done quick.

Court, get on him.

I got Dylan.

No, that's your shot, that's your shot.

I can't go.

For this faceoff, my physical abilities

are not gonna beat Dylan and Kwame,

so I have to fight differently.

No, no, no!

And make it really hard for them to play this game.

Hey, Dyl, your position!

Oh, my god!

Take that shot. Take that shot.

Oh!

Oh, my god!

Yeah, Tay.

Yes, Tay!

That's game. Red wins.

Yeah!

Good game, boys.

Congratulations, guys.

- Here's your next clue. - Thank you.

Alright, let's go, let's go! Roadblock.

Who thinks a picture is worth at least one word?

Teams will now make their way

to the Beaverbrook Art Gallery.

This provincial gallery, located in downtown Fredericton,

is host to a collection of work by Canadian Indigenous artists.

For thousands of years,

the Wolastoqey have lived along the banks of the Wolastoq.

Their history and stories

are preserved in paintings just like these.

Here, racers will find these six paintings,

along with their titles and descriptions in both

English and Wolastoquey.

Racers must listen carefully to the questions of this elder,

asked in the Wolastoquey language...

...to figure out which painting corresponds

to each of the questions.

Once they've correctly identified all six paintings

by their Wolastoquey title,

Imelda will give them their next clue.

- Yeah, I'll do it. - Tony, hey!

We just played Dylan and Kwame at basketball,

and against all odds,

- we won! - Wow!

- Yeah! - That's amazing!

Yeah, it was-- like, it was amazing!

It's frustrating knowing we could have left in first,

and now we've gotta wait till another team shows up.

Okay, where am I going, babe?

So the building is brown with a big grey roof.

I think we've gotta go this way, love.

- Which way? - To the right.

I'm just kind of trying to get a good look

for what we're looking for.

I'm still just not being able to find this.

That's it. Time's up.

- Oh, that's frustrating. - Sorry.

I'm like directionally challenged.

Oh, are we here?

Do you mind waiting again, sir?

- No, not at all. - Okay, thanks.

They're going to ask me six questions

about the Wolastoquey exhibit.

You'll answer each question with the title of one of

the six pieces of artwork.

Welcome to our beautiful territory.

Her questions are in the Wolastoqueyik language,

and they are incredibly hard.

Hm.

I'm realizing that the beginning of each question

is the same.

But the last words in each question are different.

Wolastoq. Wolastoq.

She's using words that I think

are gonna be in these descriptions.

Wolastoq...

Wolastoq...

Boom.

Wolastoq is in the painting called Oqiton.

Hello again.

Oqiton.

I'm nervous because I don't know what's going on

in there.

Okay, slow down. Slow down.

Touch back. Touch back.

- Touch back? - Yeah.

Oh, no. Oh, yeah!

Yeah, yeah, yeah! We did it!

We did it! Oh, no.

Oh, ***!

Oh, my god, what's happening?!

Oh, my god!

Oh, no!

Oh, we almost landed.

I need a bag.

Yeah, I do.

- I'm so sorry, Phil. - Oh, god.

- Argh! - God!

- Hi, again. - Hello!

I feel sick.

Like, I feel like car sick or helicopter sick,

whatever you want to call it.

I'll get it. I'll get it.

I feel like puking.

Oh, we're so close.

I'm sorry, Phil.

I'll go really gentle.

- Oh... - Oh... oh.

Oh, my gosh, babe! This is difficult.

Now they're coming out.

Okay, I'll get it. I'll get it.

You'll do it.

I am one with the helicopter.

I am the helicopter.

Oh, up a little bit.

Just a touch.

We got this. We got this.

Yeah, we got this.

Remember to push it down.

Oh, my god! Please, stop!

Why didn't it stop?

Oh, we did stop! We stopped!

Oh, my god, yes!

We stopped! We're on the building!

Finally!

We just left Adam and Courtney back there,

and we're on our way to our next faceoff.

Everybody wants to make it to the final leg,

so we just need to power through this and win.

We want to head to the west.

- Is that it, right ahead? - Yeah, that's it.

Okay, the approach now is just getting in line.

Oh, god.

- Oh! - Oh, boy!

Is that it? We good?

- You did it! - Yes, woo!

Faceoff... oh, god. Let's do it!

Mike, I just flew a helicopter!

That's alright, you know?

Yeah!

Yo, where are these guys?

Hi!

Phil and Martina just showed up.

The plan is simple.

Win.

I don't know what I'm doing!

Aah! Aah!

Oh, shoot!

Okay, hard defence now.

Defence! Defence!

Aah!

Geeze Louise!

We left the detour in last place,

which doesn't matter to us.

We've perfected battling for second-last place,

- I guess, eh? - Yeah.

It's right there. Entrance, go left.

Good job! Good job, Phil!

Yeah!

Yeahhh!

That's game.

Yellow wins.

- Here's your next clue. - Thank you.

Appreciate it. Roadblock.

Who thinks a picture is worth at least one word?

You do.

Dylan and Kwame beat us. It was an old-school beat down.

So now we have to play Courtney and Adam.

This is the last game of the faceoff, and whoever loses,

they have to wait a time penalty.

We cannot afford to lose another game.

Play!

Okay, I think it's this.

Kci Wotomakon, Sacred Pipe.

Yeah, let's try.

Hello.

Kci Wotomakon.

I'm sorry, that's incorrect.

Okay.

Ooh...

Feeling good. Feeling great.

Time to be great.

There are six art pieces.

I have to know the name of each art piece,

and I'm gonna be asked questions about it.

Let's try it.

Oh, Kwame's coming out.

Yeah, get it, girl!

I have no idea what she's saying.

But I realized there were certain words she was saying

that stuck to me.

If I can remember these words,

and identify them with the pictures, I'll be good.

Wolostoq. Wolostoq.

I might sit down on the grass, close my eyes,

and send him some positive vibes.

I need one more.

Oh, it's this one!

Kmiluwanen.

Kmiluwanen.

- Congratulations. - Thank you so much.

Thank you for honouring our language.

Awesome.

Woo! Dude, I'm so proud of you!

Make your way to Government House

and search the grounds outside for Jon and your next Pitstop.

Teams must now search the city to locate Government House,

home of New Brunswick's Lieutenant-Governor,

located on the banks of the Saint John River.

The first three teams to check in here

will earn a spot on the final leg,

with a chance to compete for the ultimate prize,

as they race to win The Amazing Race Canada Heroes Edition.

The last team to check in here will be eliminated.

Warning, the last team to check in will be eliminated.

Right on! We did it!

We're in the finale!

- Congratulations. - Yes, thank you.

Oh, my god, I'm gonna barf.

Can't wait.

Babe! Babe, babe, babe!

We're in a fight for a spot in the finale,

and this is intense competition.

Oh, no! Get it-- oh!

Right behind you! Oh!

- Oh! - Is this a bad chair?

No, I'm just going hard.

It's basket for basket.

They get a point...

We get a point.

Get it up, yes!

It couldn't be any more close.

Here. And then... hey!

Red ball.

- Sorry, Martina! - Good block, babe.

Babe!

You've got it.

Throw it up, Phil.

Yeah!

- Play deep. - I'm deep, I'm deep.

I'll stay with her.

Oh, I'm sorry.

- Oh... - Here, here, here...

Yes! Woo!

Shoot.

Come on.

Get on it, babe!

Aah!

No!

Give it!

- Holy smokes. - Tie game.

Sudden death.

First team to get the next basket wins.

This is do or die right now.

Since red was here first, red ball.

Thanks.

Right now, the finale is on the line.

We need to win this game.

Play!

Babe!

You've got it. Go, Phil.

Square yourself.

Square yourself, Phil. Square yourself.

Come on, babe! You got it!

No, no, no, no! Get it!

First team to get the next basket wins.

This is do or die right now.

Play!

- Babe! - Square yourself, Phil.

Square yourself.

Come on, babe! You got it!

No, no, no, no! Get it!

Oh...

Aah! No!

Babe... Babe!

Babe, you got this! You got this!

Yes!

- Congratulations. - Thank you so much, ref.

Thank you so much. Okay...

- Roadblock. - Am I doing this or you?

You're on a roll today.

Okay. I'm doing this roadblock.

Beaverbrook Art Gallery.

I feel like I let my sister down.

It's okay. Don't worry about it.

It's all good, man. It's all good.

It's hard to take.

One more shot and we would have won it.

It's just hard.

There he is!

Come on, you two, bring it over!

Hello.

Welcome to the beautiful city of Fredericton,

- New Brunswick. - Thank you.

Thanks.

Taylor, Courtney, you're team number one.

Yeah!

You have won a trip for two to Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Oh, my god!

You guys are in the finale!

One in three chance!

I can't believe... Honestly, I can't believe it.

- See you at the finish line. - Thank you.

Canada, we'll see you in the finale.

- Good job. - Finale!

Focus. I gotta focus.

Kei Watomakon.

The Sacred Pipe.

This is normally Courtney's area,

but I'm gonna do my absolute best.

Babe, you're really great at memorizing.

You're not giving yourself enough credit.

- You've got this, babe. - Hey, bro.

What's going on, buddy?

Bro, this is not easy.

I've gotta be a little bit... smart on this.

This challenge isn't as hard as it looks.

It's pretty easy to match these English descriptions

to the paintings.

It's the Talking Circle, and it's good to unburden ourselves

as well as listening.

He'll be okay.

Let's open it up. Ooh, roadblock.

Yeah, I'll do it.

Come on, man. You got this, baby.

Okay.

Chuwapon.

Kci Wotomakon.

Kmiluwanen.

Good job. Good job.

Yes, sir!

Let's get this. Let's get it.

Warning, the last team to check in will be eliminated.

To the finals! Oh, my gosh!

Yo...

I'm sick of fighting for our lives, honestly.

I'm frustrated.

Attempt number one.

Ready to go, I think.

Thank you very much.

The Talking Circle and It's Good To Unburden Ourselves

As Well As Listen.

Try again.

Oh, boy.

I have no idea what I'm doing at this challenge.

The thing that makes me nervous is Phil and Martina.

They are like... so good at stuff like this.

They're probably gonna come and go, just like that.

Come on, Nuna. Every second counts.

Okay, let's go.

My sister is good with words.

She talks a lot.

So hopefully that helps her with this challenge.

The answer to each question will be in the title--

will be the title.

So the answer... is just the title.

Oh, my god. Okay.

I've been learning the description of these paintings

in English, when I'm supposed to be learning the titles

of these paintings in Wolostoquey.

I have to repeat that word back?

Oh, geeze.

Oh, baby!

Come on, boys! Bring it in!

Here we go.

Ah!

Dylan, Kwame...

you're team number two.

Ah, ah, ah! Hwa-hwa!

- Aah! - There it is.

Gentlemen, you are in the finale.

Let's go. We're going to the finale.

We know we gotta handle our business,

because this is beyond us.

There's a bunch of kids out there

looking to us for motivation.

It's been the driving force this whole time,

and nothing's gonna change it.

Yes, sir!

Let's go!

Ha!

Okay, hold on. Ah...

We have been fighting so hard in this race,

and we're not giving up yet.

I just hope that we can pull through and make it.

Okay. I'm gonna try it.

Kci Wotomakon.

Wiwonuwehstuhtimok.

Nutalsuwikuwam.

Ckuwapon.

Try again.

Three more.

Everything's at stake right now.

I want to get to the finals,

so we need to get out of here ASAP.

Okay, let me try it.

Wiwonuwehstuhtimok.

Kci Wotomakon.

Kmiluwanen.

Oh, shoot, I don't know it.

Chawekon...?

- Cha... - Sorry.

- Try again. - Argh!

Okay, come on, Martina. You've got this.

Okay, I'm gonna go again.

I see Adam making an attempt.

Ckuwapon.

Oqiton.

Kmiluwanen.

Thank you so very much.

- Congratulations. - Yeah, babe!

Oh, my god, he just got it.

Government House, as fast as you possibly can!

- Good job. - Thank you so much.

I love you.

Must be really hard on her,

knowing like we're in last place right now.

I'm very proud of my sister.

She's not a quitter.

She's not gonna quit now. I know that.

Come on, Adam! Come on, Courtney!

- Hustle in, hustle! - Aah!

- Hi! - Hello.

Welcome to the beautiful city of Fredericton,

- New Brunswick. - Thank you very much.

Courtney, Adam...

you guys are team number three.

- Yes! - Oh!

You are in the finale!

- We made it! - Aah!

I just can't believe it.

We've kind of skimmed by every single time, but I'm so proud.

I'm, like, so honoured to be here.

Winning the race would be the cherry on top of everything.

Feeling a lot of love, a lot of gratefulness,

and a lot of excitement.

Courtney and Adam, we'll see you at the finale.

- Thank you so much. - Thank you.

Let's go! Let's go!

Martina, Phil...

you two are the last team to arrive.

Oh, shoot. It's okay.

It's okay, Phil.

I am sorry to tell you this,

but you have been eliminated from the race.

It's okay.

We made it pretty far.

Well, a lot farther than I thought.

I was hoping to only get to leg three to appease him.

I'm so proud of my brother.

He worked so hard, and he pushed me to become a better person,

so I'm so thankful for this.

If you want to go fast, you go alone.

If you want to go far, you go together.

Before we began this race,

I don't think she had a lot of self-confidence,

but when you're put in a position

where you have to do something to survive in this race,

she stepped up to the plate and knocked it out of the park,

over and over again.

I've done things that I never thought I would ever do

in my whole lifetime.

I realize now that I can do anything

with my family by my side.

I love you, Phil.

- You're the best. - I love you too.

You've done this race proud.

You've done yourselves proud. You've done your families proud.

And I know Canada is super proud of you.

It was like the ride of my life.

The best time.

Martina and Phil, all the best in the future, you too.

- Thank you so much. - Take care of each other.

Bye. Love you.

Bye.

This was so much fun!

Yeah, seriously.

Next time on season finale

of The Amazing Race Canada Heroes Edition...

- Here comes the chopper. - Let's go!

Let's get it!

- Oh, my god! - This is amazing!

Make your way to Banff National Park.

Yeah, baby!

The final three battle it out.

This is the finale, and we're ready to win this.

- Yeah! - Yeah, boy!

- This is it. - Woo!

This is the championship game.

28K, buddy!

Woo!

Everybody else has won a leg.

- We need to win a leg. - Keep on pushing.

Coming first is the only thing that matters.

Coming second is just first loser.

This is the leg that counts.

- Let's go, baby! - We're close!

- I know we're close. - Ya, ya, ya, ya, ya!

Get to the finale.

Win the finale.

- This is the finale. - Jonny boy, we're coming!
