Previously on the Amazing Race Canada Heroes Edition...
Go, go, go! Go!
Six teams headed to PEI...
Prince Edward Island!
...where a roadblock scrambled their menus,
and their minds...
Argh!
...but gave Courtney and Adam
their very first lead in the race.
I am the word scramble master!
Ooh, ooh!
Nancy and Mellisa experienced an emotional
speedbump...
I had breast cancer,
so I have a personal connection here.
...and a couple of bumps along the way.
Tell me what to do,
because that's what you like to do.
They still managed to fight their way from last
to win their very first leg.
Ugh!
A potato farming detour had teams digging deep...
Oh, my back hurts.
Come on! Oh, my god.
...and while it looked like Dylan and Kwame
might be in peril...
We are dead last.
- Ahh! - ...it was Leanne and Mar
who faced their own personal limits...
I'm so claustrophobic!
...forcing them to take a penalty.
Leanne and Mar, you have been eliminated from the race.
Now, five teams remain as they race to win
the all-new 2018 Chevrolet Traverse Red Line,
a once-in-a-lifetime trip for two around the world,
a quarter of a million dollars cash,
and The Amazing Race Canada.
This is Prince Edward Island.
Here, on the sandy shores of Canada's smallest province,
five teams will begin the 9th leg
of The Amazing Race Canada Heroes Edition.
Nancy and Mellisa won the last leg of the race,
and will depart first at 8:53 am.
Fly to Mexico City!
Home to over 21 million people,
Mexico's capital has an abundance of impressive
architecture, and a unique blend of indigenous
and colonial culture.
And today in Mexico City, teams will run through the streets
of the largest city in North America,
as they fight to stay in the race.
Right on! Mexico!
To the airport, please.
We had a major breakthrough on the last leg.
It's the first little bit of conflict that we've had
in this entire process, and we overcame it.
It's been an up and down rollercoaster this whole ride.
Dos cervesas, por favore.
We are going to Mexico, baby!
I think we really have been conditioned
being at the back of the pack.
We've had that pressure.
It's so much different than being at the front.
Eye on the prize, babe.
Fly to Mexico City, Mexico,
the oldest capital city in the Americas!
Oh, my god, fun!
We actually get to go to Mexico City,
which is super cool.
Okay, I've only been to the resorts.
After the last leg, we're gonna make sure that we
stop and take a second before we start running around like
chickens with our heads cut off.
- Andale, andale. - Andale!
Taxi! Taxi!
- Are you Korean? - Yes.
Please hurry.
Mexico City! Bucket list, here I come.
I love Mexican food and Mexican people.
Oh, oh! Yes, I do.
Ole.
Fly to Mexico City!
Let's go! Woo!
I've always wanted to go.
We almost got eliminated last round, but our focus is forward.
We know we're capable of a number one spot,
but we haven't shown it yet.
Travelling to a foreign country puts everyone back on
an even playing field.
Yes, sir.
Hey, how you doing today?
What's your final destination today?
- Mexico. - Mexico City.
Let's go to Mexico.
Hasta Luego!
Teams are now travelling nearly 5,000 kilometres
southwest to Mexico City, Mexico.
Once they touch down, they'll make their way
to the Monumento a la Revolucion in Plaza de Republica,
the majestic arch that commemorates
the Mexican Revolution of the early 20th century.
Once here, teams will ride an elevator
to the top of the monument where they'll receive
a very special clue from home.
Mexico City!
Yee-haw!
Arriba.
Ole, ole!
Mexico!
Monomento a la Revolucion.
- Thank you, sir. - Gracias.
Ola!
I think we're the first team here!
We're heading up the monument in first position.
- Gonna see the view. - Yeah.
Oh, are they in the elevator already?
- Yes. - This is fun!
This is pretty cool. Look at this.
Oh, wow. Oh, my goodness.
What is this?
Okay, ready?
It's a home video.
I'm already gonna cry, and I don't even know who this is!
Hi, Court and Tay.
A message of love and encouragement from your dad.
I know we don't think of ourselves as heroes
when we're out on the job, but let me tell you, you are.
You're both awesome.
- Oh! - Aah!
Adam, ever since you were a little guy,
you loved to make people smile.
You both have true hero souls.
I can hardly wait to see you guys with the win.
Now, listen carefully.
Make your way to Fronton, Mexico,
and search inside for your next clue.
Fronton, Mexico.
- We love you! - Fronton, Mexico.
Fronton, Mexico.
This building right here?
Right ahead.
There it is, right there.
Let's go, let's go.
Is that it right there?
What's up?
There we go, guys.
Roadblock.
Who wants to live the hi-life?
In this roadblock, one team member will get the scoop
on Mexico's popular sport, jai alai.
Jai alai is played by hurling a rock-hard rubber ball,
using a handmade wicker scoop known as a cesta.
One racer will enter the court,
where they must correctly land one serve.
To do so, the racers must stand behind the service line,
and hurl the ball.
The ball must directly hit the front wall,
and then bounce back, and land between lines 3 and 5
for the serve to be in play.
The racers will have three throws per attempt.
Once they ace their serve...
Ludo will give them their next clue.
Okay, sure.
I want to live the hi-life.
Oh, what is this?
This might be the strangest sport I've ever seen.
Ah! Ah!
- Oh! - Hi, Mom!
I hope you're doing well. We miss you.
Hello, Mellisa, it's Dad.
We love you and we miss you very much.
Oh, how wonderful!
Fronton, Mexico.
You'll take us there?
- Yeah. - That was cool.
That was awesome.
The ball travels at an insane speed.
I have to serve the ball, hit the wall,
and then have it bounce between 3 and 5.
I'm good to go.
Okay, I didn't nail that.
Good rotation, Court.
Ugh...
Ugh! I am never gonna hit that wall.
Alright, Court, it just takes one.
Sorry!
- Okay. - You got this!
Uh-oh.
Oh, no!
Not doin' so hot at all.
What's going on?
The Amazing Race, man, that's great.
Wow.
We get the message from home.
It's from one of the kids we coached, Tola.
Tola's a special kid to me.
This one's all about heroes,
and you know how you're a hero to me.
You know, I really didn't have a dad growing up,
so you were my father figure.
The reason why I try to be a role model
because I want to be that person that I needed growing up.
I grew up in Toronto,
and I almost steered into the wrong direction.
I didn't have many positive male influences,
and that's what I needed in my life.
That's honestly why I do what I do.
You know, you're a big hero to me,
a big hero in the community.
He's definitely gonna be something successful
in the future, and it makes me so proud
because I know that I've been an influential part in that,
and that's all I want to be.
That's the motivation I honestly needed right now.
- Right here? - Yes.
We could have easily walked over here.
Oh.
Who wants to live the hi-life?
I got it.
- I'll do it. - Go for it.
There you go, constable.
- Oh! - Oh.
Good power, though.
The two Courtneys are ahead of me.
Oh! Uh-oh.
- Watch out! - Sorry!
No! Ugh!
It's okay, babe.
Ahh!
I've been doing worse every time.
This could be a chance to catch up.
I'm up.
Let's get this money, bro.
I have confidence in him.
Oh, shoot!
Ahh! Shoot!
Just a little bit more, man!
Ahh!
I was close.
Oh, he's close.
He's not there yet, but he's close.
Surprise!
Hi, Phil. Hi, Martina.
We love you. We miss you.
Seeing my wife and my baby daughter is really special
because I actually took six months off work
when Amy was born,
so I was with her every single day,
and to be away from her for this long,
without having that contact with her,
it's so hard.
She's grown up so much already.
Go, super Seal Siblings!
Oh, my gosh, it's like the best to see family
when you're away from home!
Okay, I can do it.
Okay, Mel, three tries!
Yes!
Yes! Good girl!
Good job, Mel!
This time's a charm.
If I can get this right here, and get out of here,
we can get a big lead.
Let's go, baby!
I'm feeling good about this one.
Let's go!
Jai alai, my new favourite sport.
That's my dude.
Dylan just got his throw.
Dammit.
Detour.
Muertos or Mercado.
In this detour, teams will have to choose between
two iconic Mexican traditions.
Muertos or Mercado.
In Mercado, teams will make their way to the world's
largest market, which processes over 30,000 tons
of fresh produce every day
and is home to 2,000 businesses.
If it's eaten or produced in Mexico,
you'll find it at Central de Abasto.
Using the shopping list provided,
teams will search the laneways to locate these four
marked stalls to purchase the following ingredients:
cilantro, green chilli peppers, onions, tomatoes, and limes.
Once they find and correctly combine the ingredients
to make a tasty pico de gallo,
Diego will give them their next clue.
Mexico City's most popular holiday, Day of the Dead,
or Dia de los Muertos,
is a celebration where family and friends gather,
and paint symbols called calaveras on their faces
to remember and honour loved ones who have died.
In Muertos, teams must make their way
to the Fuente de los Coyotes.
Here, they'll select two Day of the Dead designs,
and perfectly paint an exact replica of their chosen design
on their partner's face.
Once Claudia the makeup artist feels their face painting jobs
are worthy of celebrating the dead,
she'll hand over their next clue.
Muertos.
Let's go!
Taxi! We're leaving in first place.
Hopefully, we can keep it smooth sailing to Jon.
Just trying to stay really relaxed at the wrist.
You got this.
Yes! Yes!
She got it! Oh!
Yay! I'm so proud of you.
We're gonna do Mercado.
Central de Abasto, a location in the market.
I feel like Captain Hook.
Aye-aye!
- Have fun. - Okay, have fun.
- Have fun with this. - Ola, ola!
Como estas?
Oh, oui, oui!
Technically, you don't have to be an athlete like
Mellisa or Dylan.
You just need the correct technique.
So my technique is sante, sante, sante,
which means loosey-goosey, and--
Bonito, bonito.
I don't know what I'm doing.
And then you do a skippety-skip,
and you toss that sucker across the room.
Oh, good job, Nuna!
Good job!
Oh!
Yes!
Oh, my...
- Oh! - Oh.
That was good, though, Nuna.
My confidence is growing.
A little better.
No!
Argh! I don't know.
I'm still figuring this crazy utensil out.
Courtney and Taylor are still here.
Courtney and Adam are still here.
And I just really need to get this next.
Use everything you got, everything you've got.
Sante, sante, bonito, bonito.
Argh!
- Yeah! - Yeah!
Yeah!
Yes, yes!
Gracias, amigos!
Let's do Muertos. Okay, let's go.
Eduardo!
Gracias, gracias. Rapido.
I think I closed my eyes when I threw the ball.
And then there were two.
And then there were two.
Argh!
I'm gonna die here.
I'm with you, girl.
It's a battle of the two Courtneys,
and I don't want to be standing there by myself.
Oh.
All good, Court!
I'm starting to panic.
Hey, what's the penalty for roadblocks?
I don't know if I'll get this.
Stay calm.
It's a battle of the two Courtneys,
and I don't seem to be picking this sport up very quickly.
Oh, my god, that was close, babe!
So I've got my height.
It's just my aim I need to work on... whew!
It's alright.
I think I'm getting worse.
Babe, you've got this!
Yeah, baby!
Woo!
- Let's go, go, go. - Okay.
Detour. Muertos or Mercado.
- Let's do it. - Okay, let's go.
Muertos.
It's just me now.
That's okay.
Only 20 more feet.
It's nothing.
We're headed to the Muertos.
We need to get to the Fountain of the Coyotes.
- Yo, yo, right here. - Gracias.
I see a fountain.
Coyote, coyote.
Ola.
Gracias. Okay, let's go.
We have to paint each other's face,
and it has to be a Day of the Dead mask.
- I'll do this one. - Okay, you do that one.
- Okay. - It's gonna tickle.
- Are we close? - Yes.
Right here, sir.
Oh, my gosh.
This is huge.
Oh, right here, right here.
- Ah, right there. - Si!
Hey! We're here to see you.
Pick a station back there.
Here's our shopping list.
We have to go and find all the ingredients
in pico de gallo,
so we have to find all these different stalls.
So, let's go get our cilantro
and small green chillies.
Oh, I-19. This is I.
- What number do we need? - 151.
- Oh, my god. - I know.
It is way down there.
Holy moly, this is hard!
This market is absolutely huge.
Holy moly.
Do you see any numbers?
Oh, maybe we should have picked the face painting.
Gato! Habla Ingles?
The key to this detour is not making any mistakes.
Yeah!
Check, please.
Hey, hey! Let's go.
Now it's my turn. I gotta paint Dylan's face.
Woo-hoo!
Wow!
Martina and Phil just arrived.
I love makeup,
and this is gonna be fun
because it's just like Halloween.
Okay.
Oh, this is it here.
- Okay. - Is this the fountain?
There's the fountain right there.
Go quick.
- Hola. - Hola.
Adam and Courtney just arrived.
The pressure's on me.
The problem is his moustache is an issue right now for me.
Babe, we gotta make up some time here.
We're gonna work together here.
We're gonna go at the same time.
It's just a little bit distracting, though.
Sorry. You do your thing.
Almost there.
I'm just like not getting any better.
I feel terrible.
I just can't figure this out.
Head up, Court. You're doing good.
It's tough to see your sister our there, you know,
just get down on herself.
She's a born leader.
She is that person that I can look up to.
She can take so much pressure on her shoulders
and still be that leader.
Take your time. You got her.
Can you go like this?
That's pretty close.
It's like the way for kindergarteners.
That's okay.
I saw a guy do underhand in the NBA once.
Okay. Higher, higher, higher.
That was her best throw. She got about four feet.
It might be here, though...
Oh!
We're outty!
Let's go!
Detour.
Detour, finally something we do together.
- Muertos? - Yeah.
Gracias.
Was it fun at the beginning at least?
No. It was not fun at all.
You always look so pretty with makeup on.
Yeah, am I wearing this to the wedding?
You can be prettier than me at our wedding, babe.
I think that's it. Check, please.
- It's okay. - Yeah?
- Okay, let's go. - This is a good challenge.
It's a very quiet challenge compared to other ones,
and my sister's just talking the whole time.
- The big eyes... - Nuna, stop talking.
Stop talking, and let the artist do his work.
You can use bigger brushes.
Stop, okay?
I think I'm done. Check, please.
I'm dead serious right now.
Hey!
Route info.
Luces, camara, accion.
Teams must now make their way to the fashionable
and upscale neighbourhood,
and locate this residence.
Accion.
Once here, they'll find themselves on the set
of a classic Mexican telenovela.
Of course.
Complete with melodramatic acting, over the top villains,
and outrageous plot twists,
telenovelas are Latin America's famous serialized TV dramas.
First, each team mate must choose a character
and memorize their character's Spanish dialogue...
...then perform the scene with the rest of the actors
as the cameras roll.
When the director feels he's captured the passion
in their performance, he'll give them their next clue.
- Let's go! - Let's go, baby!
Taxi, taxi!
Let's just keep it goin', baby.
Habla Ingles? Habla Ingles?
Excuse me... Do you know where this is?
- Gracias. - What is your name?
- Mary. - Mary?
- Ah. - Yes!
We find Mary to help us with this challenge.
Thank goodness!
Gracias.
Are we getting close, do you think?
Local 151.
- Right here! - This is it?
- Gracias. - Awesome.
We need a handful of cilantro.
And 10 chillies.
Perfect.
Gracias.
Now we need to find tomato.
Do you know where they are?
Are they?
- Yeah. - That's so kind of you.
- Gracias. - Thank you.
Thank you.
Does it say we're supposed to go to some fountain?
This is bad.
Our cab driver has asked four people for directions.
Our cab driver is so lost.
This guy has no idea where he's going.
We just left the last challenge last,
and our cab driver is lost.
This is extremely frustrating.
Internally I'm panicking.
I don't want to go home, and especially
because of a cab driver.
This is bad.
Yeah, Mexico City traffic is crazy.
Gracias.
We arrive at the Mexican soap opera challenge.
Let's do this!
Time do 'dis acting 'ting, eh?
That's the worst accent!
In order to get our clue,
we need to perform a scene
with two other soap opera stars.
My character is Humberto.
I'm angry the whole time by the fireplace drinking whiskey.
Julio and Sylvia are in love,
and Julio pretty much came back from the dead.
My character is a man named Julio.
He has a thing for Sylvia, who's Constanza's mother,
so he's revealing their deep and dark secret
that they had a love affair.
We get the script, but guess what?
It's in Spanish.
Oh...
Let's practice from the top till there, to that part.
Okay?
- Alright, we're good. - Yeah, we're good.
- Want me to help? - Let's run!
They are gonna be so far behind.
Nobody else is there.
We're the only ones at this challenge, honey!
Okay, I need help.
Excuse...
Excuse, gracias.
We found our ingredients, and now we need
to start chopping.
I've made pico de gallo several, several times.
Piece of cake.
We're gonna hustle up and get this done.
I feel like our teamwork and communication
is great today.
Did you do the chillies already?
I thought she had a Slapchop in her bag.
- Wow. - Done.
That helped the look of it.
- That looks good. - Where's the chips?
Check, please.
- It's okay. - You like it!
Nice, nice! Thank you.
Luces, camara, accion. Ah!
Let's just, you know, plug through it all and get 'er done.
I'm doing pretty good here.
I'm getting close.
I'd say I'm about... 80% done.
That's higher than any mark I got in high school.
- Ha. - Okay, check, please.
Become actors in a telenovela.
- Let's go! - That sounds like fun.
I've done acting since high school.
I know my sister talks way more than I do,
but it's time to share the spotlight.
There it is right there.
Through these arches, I think.
Turn the other way.
Uh-oh, Court and Taylor are here.
- Hola. - The pressure's on.
Gotta do this fast.
Oh, gosh, really?
That's okay. It's okay.
Have you guys seen anybody else here?
Martina and Phil left.
Dylan and Kwame left.
Check, please.
- Thank you so much. - Awesome.
- Thank you so much. - Thank you.
- Awesome. - Let's go!
- Let's go! - Taxi!
So we are muchos, muchos last.
Maybe someone else's cab will get lost.
How much time?
It's hot in here.
Ha!
I think I got my first line.
I think I'm getting close.
- Okay, let's go. - Let's go!
- I'm gonna be Julio. - I wanna be Sylvia.
Okay.
No, Julio.
Telenovela is like a Mexican soap opera,
and I love it!
Ahh!
Martina.
This is fun.
Okay. Let's just try it.
Yeah, let's try it.
Julio, there's Julio. Ola.
So that's your first mark.
You start walking when I say "accion," right?
- Okay. - Your whiskey.
I hope it's not real whiskey.
Is this water?
Accion.
Oh, no, no!
We got a little bit through the scene,
and I think if we nail down a couple more points,
I think we're good to go for another.
Let's go practice.
Ahh!
My character is Sylvia, the mom,
who is also sleeping with the daughter's boyfriend, Julio!
Accion!
Ah, I forgot my line!
Shoot.
The hard part is memorizing the Spanish.
Ahh!
Accion.
No, no!
We're gettin' there.
I think a little bit of our timing was off.
The dog is literally on a skateboard.
Oh, my god, look at it.
If we can get this really quickly,
we can keep ourselves in the game.
Check, please.
Get out of the way, dog coming through.
What a cute little dog.
Yay! Thank you so much!
Yeah, I've seen crazier things happen in a comeback.
Traffic is slow.
The traffic is super slow.
I think we're pretty close here.
This gentleman seems to know.
Right here, right here. We're here.
- Gracias, senor. - This'll be us right here.
Nancy and Mellisa left the jai alai second,
and now we've completely caught up with them.
Where is the wardrobe truck, do you see it?
- Ready? - Yup.
So, I'm Sylvia.
I am the wife of Humberto.
Adam is Julio.
I love you and your daughter.
I'm the wife. You're the daughter.
- You look really pretty! - Yeah... thank you.
- I like your earrings. - Like my red lipstick?
- Yeah, it looks good! - Okay.
Oh, gosh. Okay.
Let's get on this, love.
We know our lead's gone.
No, no!
No, no.
- Bien. - Si.
We haven't won a leg in the whole race.
Hold on.
This is our leg. We can't let it slip.
No, Julio!
I don't even know what I'm saying.
We've got a little more of the timing,
so I think we're good.
Okay, let's go.
Bienvenidos. Accion.
- Woo! - Let's go!
Ho-ly!
Route info.
Make your way to Alameda Central
and search the park for Jon at your next pitstop.
Teams must now make their way to Almeda Central,
a lush tree-lined park that is one of the oldest parks
in the western hemisphere.
Today, this urban oasis in the heart of Mexico City
will act as the ninth pitstop
on The Amazing Race Canada Heroes Edition.
The last team to check in here may be eliminated.
The last team to check in may be eliminated.
Let's go. Thank you.
Thank you. Thank you.
Thank you. Gracias.
Taxi! How you doing, sir?
You know how to get to there?
Yeah? Yeah, let's go.
So we gotta... we gotta go to see Jon!
This could be our first win, baby.
Let's go! I'm lovin' this.
We gotta get this.
There's Dylan and Kwame.
We show up to the telenovela challenge,
we see Dylan and Kwame leaving,
and all the other teams are still here.
Nobody looks that confident.
Ola!
Julio! Julio has arrived.
Do you have a strategy for memorizing the lines?
- Kind of. - What is it?
I need help.
Oh, like, I don't really.
Okay.
I'm just gonna read 'em all out.
- Okay. - Do we want to try one?
- Okay, let's go. - No, Julio.
Oh wow! This is amazing.
Babe, I don't feel good about this.
Action.
Oh, no.
No, no.
That was quick.
Okay, this moustache is coming off.
We only got about a second in,
so we're going to try that again.
Stage fright.
No, no!
You've gotta have fun with this because...
uh, it's the only thing that's gonna get me through.
Stand you up.
Okay.
Should we give it a try?
Action.
- No, no! - I blanked.
I looked at that guy with his big brown eyes, and I froze.
It's intimidating, for sure.
Let's go. Let's go.
Do you see him?
Yo, over here.
Let's go!
Ah! Good!
Welcome to Mexico City.
Yay! Thank you.
Dylan, Kwame...
- you're team number one. - Yeah!
- Finally! - Ha, ha, ha!
As winners of this leg of the race, gentlemen,
you're going to Sydney, Australia.
Woo!
Let's go!
Today was an emotional day.
We got words from people back home
that just truly inspired us, and gave us the fire today
just to keep on moving forward.
The words we've been waiting nine legs to hear--
Dylan and Kwame--
You're team number one!

That was fast.
Martina and Phil just left, so no, no, no.
Action.
something, something--
Oh, no.
Oh, man, I'm not feeling good about this.
Adam's struggling with his lines a little bit.
It's now us, Nancy and Mellisa,
and Taylor and Courtney.
Anything I can do to help, love?
Do you want to practice with me or anything?
No, I'm just going through it in my head, sorry.
Okay.
Are we ready?
We're here with Courtney and Adam, and Mellisa and Nancy.
Do you want to do it?
Yeah.
Accion.
Cut, cut, cut!
That's tough.
Accion.
Oh...
No. Cut, cut.
I've got a problem on the one line.
I just can't memorize it.
Just as soon as I open my mouth, it stops coming out.
Alameda Central.
Rapido.
Okay, hold my hand!
I am. There's Jon!
- Yeah! - Jon!
- I see Jon! - Jon!
- Ahh! - I see Jon!
Welcome to Mexico City.
Gracias.
Martina, Phil...
you two are team number two.
Thank you.
Second place feels great.
Dude, we could actually win this,
and that blows my mind.
Gracias, Mexico!
Accion.
- Whoa! - Oh, my god!
Nancy and Mellisa, sounds like they got their clue.
So, it's not good for us.
You guys have got it.
We did so incredible.
Gotta hurry.
- Oh, hurry, hurry. - We've gotta hustle.
So now it's us and Courtney and Adam.
Again.
So stress levels are pretty high.
Accion.
I'm hoping they didn't get it.
And I'm hoping we can just do this real quick.
No!
Muy bien. Muchos gracias.
Ah!
Sounds like they're screaming in there.
Sounds like maybe they got it.
Let's get the heck out!
Okay, come on.
Warning, the last team to arrive maybe eliminated.
Okay. Let's do it.
Accion.
We're leaving in position number four,
but five is right behind us.

Excellent. Thank you very much!
Thank you! We're gonna run!

and we need to go.

This is for you if you get us there fast.
- Fast, fast! - As fast as you can.
- Yes. - Soon, soon.
Fast, fast, fast.
Yeah, the other two teams are right behind us.
Go, go, go, go!
Okay, pass these guys.
- Pass these guys, Go, go, go! - Go, go!
I'll give you 500.
Yeah, fast, fast!
Courtney and Adam are like in the car in front of us.
Oh, this is stressful.
This is intense.
Argh!
Go, go, go! Go!
Oh, that's them there!
Oh, no! They just turned left.
Okay, well, we just split, so who knows?
It's all good. It's all good.
Alameda Central, it's right here.
- Okay, stop, get out. - Stop, stop.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah!
- Welcome to Mexico City. - Gracias.
Taylor, Courtney...
- you're team number three. - Yeah!
How did we get team number three?
- Good job. - Oh, my god!
This leg of the race was an emotional rollercoaster.
Today taught us that even when you know you're last,
you can't give up.
You always have a chance to make up for your misfortune,
and thankfully today we... we got a chance to do that.
Right there. There it is.
Stop, stop, stop!
Is that the park right ahead?
- Right there? - Yes, yes.
Okay, let's go. Let's get out, let's get out.
- Do you see, babe? - Run.
Over here. What do we see?
- I can't see. - Do you see it?
- This way. - I think it's back here.
Babe, we're still looking for the mat!
Do you see anything?
I got it! I got it!
Courtney and Adam...
you're team number four.
Nancy and Mellisa...
you are the last team to arrive, ladies.
I am sorry to tell you this,
but you have been eliminated from the race.
- Oh... - No.
It's okay. Honestly, it's okay.
- It's good. - I'm sorry.
No, don't be sorry.
I think we did awesome, and it was so fun.
The key to success was just letting it all hang out.
Fun without reserve is what I always say.
Sure, we had some struggles along the way,
but our relationship has evolved.
Nancy and I came into this
with no pre-existing relationship.
I have a new family member, like I can't even say just a friend,
like she's somebody who is so special to me.
Ladies, thank you for being on the race.
- You've done Canada proud. - Thank you.
We'll see you down the line.
- Thank you. - Bye, guys.
- Love you. - Love you all.
It's been a pleasure. It's been an absolute pleasure.
Next time, on the Amazing Race Canada Heroes Edition...

Keep pushing! Don't stop!
Hurry up!
...and has some teams spinning out of control.
Oh, my god! What's happening?
The final faceoff keeps the wheels in motion,
as racers give it their best shot...
- Get it, babe, get it! - Oh...
...and a roadblock has teams at a loss for words,
