Previously on the Amazing Race Canada Heroes Edition...
- Yeah! - Jakarta!
Indonesia!
...eight teams raced through Jakarta, Indonesia...
- Go, go, go! - This is the furthest
I've ever travelled in my life.
...where the competition instantly heated up.
Hawt. H-A-W-T, hawt.
- Whoa! - Wow.
The detour had teams snuggling up
with their new best buds...
- Oh, he's giving me a hug! - U-turn.
...and a blind double U-turn had teams getting
a little sneaky.
We don't have to put our picture up.
Classic line, we're not here to make friends.
...forcing Todd and Anna and Martina and Phil
to do double duty.
Oh, no!
- Taxi! - Come on!
The race for first had Nancy and Mellisa
hot on the heels of the cheerleaders.
That way!
Ultimately, Leanne and Mar beat out the athletes
once again.
We've been neck and neck, and we love it.
The entire time. We love it.
The roadblock gave Courtney and Adam a serious headache,
and frontrunners Todd and Anna never got the upper hand...
You are the last team to arrive.
...eliminating them from the race.
Now, seven teams remain as they race to win
the all-new 2018 Chevrolet Traverse Red Line,
a once-in-a-lifetime trip for two around the world,
a quarter of a million dollars cash,
and The Amazing Race Canada.
This is Indonesia,
and here in the heart of Jakarta
is the serenity of Merdeka Square
where seven teams will begin the fifth leg
on The Amazing Race Canada Heroes Edition.
Leanne and Mar won the last leg of the race...
Yes!
...and will depart first at 12:08 am.
Route info.
Fly back home to Canada!
After a short trip abroad,
teams must now travel back home to Canada
where they'll touch down
at Toronto's Pearson International Airport.
- Bye, Indonesia! - Bye, Indo!
It feels absolutely phenomenal.
With two wins under our belt so far,
I have so much confidence that we can actually win this.
First! Yes!
Fly back home to Canada.
Right on, back home!
For a couple of country bumpkins,
we navigated our way pretty good through Jakarta.
Let's go.
We've been in the middle of the pack
for the first four legs.
We need a number one finish.
This leg is our leg.
Home, baby!
Ah!
Fly back to Canada!
On the last leg, there was a blind U-turn,
and we chose to U-turn Todd and Anna.
A strategic move, and because of that,
we've had our best finish yet.
The U-turn is part of the race.
You're supposed to use it if it's there.
- Ready to rock? - Yup.
Our race has been pretty consistent.
The pressure, it's there but it hasn't cracked us.
Sibling bonds are flexible like that,
like even under pressure, they can flex
a lot before they break.
Going home!
Let's go!
We're starting this leg in sixth place,
and we're happy about that because we got U-turned,
we survived it, and we're still in this race.
Hi, can we take this taxi?
I think we're stronger than we thought we were.
Oh yeah, uh-huh.
Canada, here we come.
We are starting in dead last.
Enough is enough is enough of last place.
It's not where we belong.
Jakarta International Airport, please.
I think our jobs as a nurse and a firefighter
are helping us in that way, keeping us positive.
We almost thrive under pressure.
Alright, alright, alright.
Look who's here!
We made it!
We made it.
We've noticed that the team that's missing is actually
Todd and Anna.
It scares me seeing top competitors go home.
It can happen to anyone.
You take a wrong turn, you don't read your clue properly,
it can happen like that.
They were right behind us.
It was like a footrace to the mat.
- Wow. - Wow.
Teams are now travelling nearly 16,000 kilometres
over the Arctic to Toronto, Ontario.
When they land, they'll load into the all-new 2018
Chevrolet Equinox True North Edition,
where they'll find their next clue.
Go, go, go. Hold hands.
- Hold hands. - There they are.
Let's read, Mar, let's read.
Route info.
Take the Chevrolet Equinox
to where it was assembled in Canada.
The Chevrolet Equinox has been assembled
at the CAMI Assembly Plant in Ingersoll, Ontario
since 2004.
Teams must now determine the location of CAMI Assembly,
and drive themselves to the 2 million square foot facility,
being careful not to confuse this assembly plant
with any other Chevrolet plants in Southern Ontario.
Hey, question for you.
We're looking for the Chevrolet Equinox
assembly line centre.
Looking at 300 Ingersoll Street.
Write that down, Ingersoll, Ontario.
Ingersoll.
And that's CAMI Automotive?
Yeah, C-A-M-I.
Let's go. Let's go.
Let's rock and roll.
Yeah, Chevrolet Equinox made in Ingersoll.
Some of them are made in Oshawa,
but Equinox is made in Ingersoll.
I would not be surprised if somebody ends up in Oshawa.
We are headed to Oshawa
to the GM plant.
Head east towards Oshawa.
Just stopped for directions,
and now we're just heading out all the way to Oshawa.
Oshawa.
We made it.
CAMI Automotive. That's it right there.
And there's a sign-up board there.
Oh, my god, we're the first team there.
Oh, let's go!
Number one, baby!
Just for dramatic effect.
- Looks like we're here. - Yes!
Based on the order of arrival,
teams will be admitted to the CAMI Assembly plant
in five-minute intervals, starting the next morning
at 9 am.
Top three, baby! Ow-ow-ow-ow!
GM Oshawa Assembly.
Oh, another car's here.
Oh, two other cars are here.
I am very confused as to where we are supposed to go.
It says to where it was assembled in Canada,
so maybe this isn't where it was even assembled.
Hm. What are we thinking?
I have a feeling this isn't it.
I think you're correct.
Do you guys have a phone we could borrow?
Ingersoll, Ingersoll...
Uh, Ingersoll is another hour and 45 minutes
past Toronto on the other side.
Oh.
We have headed east.
We now need to head west.
Ingersoll coming up, baby.
Oh, you did it, guys.
The remaining four teams are now arriving
at the sign-up board, two hours later in Ingersoll.
We're in last place, always.
That sucks.
Route info.
It's time to go door-to-door.
The hardworking men and women of CAMI Assembly
have been building world-class vehicles since 1989,
and this year, they celebrate an impressive milestone,
as they rolled the five-millionth vehicle
off the line.
Assembling any Chevrolet vehicle is no small task,
and in this challenge, teams will get a taste of the detail
and precision required.
After watching a silent demonstration,
and using the instructions provided,
racers must follow the 19 steps required to correctly assemble
one Chevrolet Equinox door unit.
Once they meet Chevrolet's exacting technical
and quality standards, and pass the door assembly test,
Gary, the plant manager, will give them their next clue.
- Ready? - Yeah.
It looks like it's totally naked,
like the first step.
We have to build the Equinox door,
which entails putting on the weather stripping,
attach a mirror, do all the electrical.
There were a lot of steps.
- Okay, ready? - Yeah, let's do it.
I'll grab the weather stripping.
I forget already what I'm supposed to do.
This doesn't really look right.
Well, I don't know.
Time to build a car!
Okay... this one's me, that one's you.
This one's me.
I'm doing the first one. He's doing the second.
I do third, fourth, so we have a sequence like that going on.
Good job.
GM cars are all about a detail.
Details matter, fact.
This part on top first.
I'm a high-school Home Ec teacher,
and this challenge we have to do step by step,
just like a recipe.
It was this, right? Like dah, dah, dah.
Yeah.
You can't go from step 1 to step 5 to step 12
to make your key lime pie.
You've gotta whip that cream.
Come on, little guy.
Good job.
This is super simple.
It makes all the sense in the world.
I'm gonna be good at this.
I've ripped my truck door apart
I don't know how many times.
The steps aren't hard at all.
I'm gonna do what I can to help,
and just look adorable in my overalls.
Ha-ha.
Check, when you get a sec.
- Incorrect. - Oh, no.
That's fine. I know exactly what's wrong.
There we go.
Check, please!
Incorrect.
Okay, dude, something's incorrect here.
They're forgetting one important part.
You need to plug the cable into the mirror.
There's nothing I can see that's wrong with it.
Let's just take it all apart, and do it all again.
We think that's good. We're gonna get a check.
Check.
Correct, go see the plant manager.
Yes! Let's go!
Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha!
Ha-ha, ha!
Oh, they're done.
Alright, we're good, we're good.
Don't worry about it.
You're big, eh?
Here's your next clue.
Thank you so much.
Route info.
Drive yourselves to Stratford, Ontario.
Once there, find the Festival Theatre
and search outside for your next clue.
Teams must now make their way to the quaint and beautiful
country town of Stratford, Ontario,
famous around the world for the Stratford Festival,
which now draws over half a million theatre-lovers
each year.
You know how to get to Stratford?
It's on the map.
You do that end first, and then we'll go this way.
Perfect. Thank you.
1, 2, 3, 4, 5.
Weather strip, plastic piece, three bolts, outside, inside.
Last but not least, yup.
Okay, we've got this.
We don't you to question, but you will.
You will be.
Okay, check, please.
- Incorrect. - Okay, thank you.
It's this weather stripping.
Incorrect.
Let's go check the demo one more time, babe.
- No, we are good. - Incorrect.
Okay, let's go look at the demo real quick.
Okay.
What's on top, black or white?
The top one was black, the bottom were grey.
- I made a note of that. - Good.
- It's black and silver. - No, I think that's...
It's black and silver, so take it off.
It's black on the top, silver on the bottom.
Okay, listen to me.
That is because it's been off and on so much.
It's just been taken off and on, and the paint has come off.
Okay.
You are good. You are good.
Can I get a check, please?
- Correct. - Yes!
Woo!
Check, please!
- Correct. - Yes!
We're leaving in second.
Full tilt, baby.
We arrived in third,
- we leave in third. - That's great.
But we're coming for first place!
Yes.
Incorrect.
Okay.
Now I'm starting to panic.
No idea what our problem is at this point.
I have no idea.
We've gotta take it all apart.
We've gotta take it all apart.
- Yeah. - Do it all again.
We have no idea what we're missing.
Oh, my goodness!
How did we miss that?
Correct.
Woo!
That was a stupid mistake.
Should have plugged in that mirror.
Stratford is like an acting--
like, a theatre town.
Okay, so what am I looking for?
I'm having a little trouble right now
with navigation.
It's annoying because we got out first,
and we're not always the best with navigation.
Romeo, Romeo, where art thou, Romeo?
Oh, Festival Theatre.
Okay, let's go! Where is it?
Where is it? Where is it?
Oh, there it is.
Roadblock.
Who wants a fighting chance?
In this roadblock, one team member will get to pick a fight,
16th-century style.
After suiting up in period costumes,
racers will partner with a fight director,
and learn an intricate and technical stage
combat fight sequence.
Once they are battle ready, they'll take to the stage
to put their skills to the test.
When they've mastered the sword and fought the good fight,
they'll receive their next clue.
- I'll do it. - Okay, let's go.
This theatre looks so cool.
When thrusting, it's straight ahead.
- Like this, or like this? - Right.
For this roadblock, I need to learn a series of steps
using my sword, in order to attack,
and also learn how to defend.
- Okay. - Okay.
En garde.
There's the clue box.
I want a fighting chance.
I'm gonna do this roadblock.
Oh.
- Teach me your ways. - I will.
Doing a sword fight onstage has me so excited.
The two things are en garde, and the last is, aah!
Alright? You die.
- Okay. - Okay!
You're gonna kill me.
That's the whole thing.
This fight sequence ends with me dying,
getting sliced open.
- Aah! - Exactly.
We are the last three teams
left here at the Chevy challenge.
We've got this, girl.
Yeah.
Check, please.
Complete. You can go see the plant manager.
Woo!
Drive yourselves to Stratford, Ontario.
Justin Bieber, here we come.
This has to go this way.
It was the bolt.
There, I get it now.
- Complete. - Oh!
Stratford, straight north of here.
Complete.
We have to get there as fast as we can.
Okay, let's rock and roll.
- There it is. - Look at that thing!
Roadblock. Who wants a fighting chance?
- I'll do it. - Do it.
No, don't leave me.
Costumes, oh, my god!
I have minimal sword experience.
I have a baton, but I don't really wave it around like that,
so we'll see.
- I step, stab. - That's correct.
That looks like a theatre.
Yeah, it does. It has to be.
- Yo, right here. - Yeah, yeah.
Who wants a fighting chance?
I got it.
We left the Chevrolet challenge in first,
and now we're in fourth. I'm frustrated right now.
Who wants a fighting chance?
Well, I guess it better be me.
En garde!
Around...
One by one, different teams start showing up.
I'm like, I gotta get this. I've gotta nail this.
- Okay? - Yeah.
This is our chance to move ahead in this race.
My brother's gonna rock the challenge.
Hai-ya, hai-ya, en garde!
En garde.
Too slow.
Okay, a little faster. Okay, sure.
- Thank you, though. - Woo-hoo!
Good job, Phil, good job!
Okay, shall we?
Yes.
En garde.
Blah.
I'm dying.
I think you're gonna have to take this
a little more seriously.
Okay. I'm just gonna keep trying.
Is it this highway that's like
on top of us right now?
I literally have no idea.
I feel like we are completely lost.
There's the clue box. I see it.
Yeah, roadblock.
I'll do it, yeah.
Hi! Anyone; I don't care.
- Hi, let's go. - I like to kick butt.
I was raised with three brothers.
I can be a little rough and tumble around the edges,
so I'm excited for this.
5...
6.
Oh, okay, okay.
Let's go again.
Come on, you can do it.
You can do it, Phil, you can do it Phil.
En garde.
Ah!
- Let's do it again. - You've got it, Phil.
Oh, my gosh, I'm doing it faster now,
but I can't remember the choreography.
Okay, we're ready to go again.
En garde.
I'm just not getting it.
Oh! Let's do it again.
I can't remember the choreography.
Come on, come on, come on.
En garde.
Augh!
Come on, come on.
Yes, yes.
Fantastic! Great job, guys, that time.
Yeah!
You did a great job, Phil!
- Thank you. - Detour.
Pedal or package.
This detour will give teams a chance to participate
in a favourite Stratford summer tradition,
or try its most famous treat.
It's their call, Pedal or Package.
Package requires teams to make their way
to Rheo Thompson Candies, a Stratford staple since 1969.
Once here, they'll take to the factory floor,
where they must correctly package 10 boxes
of assorted mint smoothies,
and 10 boxes of assorted fruit jellies.
Using these finished packages for reference,
racers must pay close attention to detail, both inside and out,
making sure each box has been dressed with the proper stickers
and ribbons to make it ready for sale.
When all 20 boxes have been perfectly packaged,
Mark will give them their next clue.
Pedal requires teams to make their way to the Avon River,
where they'll use these paddleboats to collect six
emoji puzzle pieces scattered along the banks of the river.
Once all pieces are collected, teams must solve the puzzle
to reveal their next destination...
Queen of the Square.
Package?
- Okay, let's go. - Package, okay.
We're leaving in first place.
I crushed it! I crushed that last challenge!
I love acting!
En garde.
Yeah, baby!
Thank you, thank you! Can I give you a hug?
Oh, you sure can.
- Thank you so much. - Awesome.
- Okay, let's do package. - Okay.
We are headed to Rheo Thompson Candy Store.
We didn't see Mar and Leanne.
Mar and Leanne were the only ones not there?
Yeah.
Sir, I need help with directions.
I needed to turn right off of Ingersoll onto Vansitart.
That's right down there. Take a right.
It'll take you right out there.
- Thank you so much. - Yeah, you're welcome.
I have a feeling we're in dead last.
I do not want to go home.
A lot of kids look up to us.
I just don't want to... let them down.
If we win The Amazing Race Canada,
we are donating proceeds back to the anti-bullying
in the community programs that we're involved in.
Holla-ah!
We just want to be able to give back to them.
I see it. I see it right there.
Who wants a fighting chance?
Me. Participate in a sword fight.
I did.
I did stage combat in university.
It's stage sword fighting!
Stop, push, around.
This is very simple to pick up.
Repetition is perfect for me.
I'm just gonna keep doing it over and over,
and I feel like I can jump ahead.
From the top, please, a couple of times.
Absolutely.
I'm gonna try one more time.
I feel about a six out of 10.
It's better than half.
Lookin' fierce.
En garde.
Oh, no!
Nice focus.
- Gonna give you a pass. - Woo-hoo!
Thank you!
You want to go pedal on the boat?
Yeah, pedal boat. That might be fun.
- Okay, let's do that. - Okay, let's do that.
Alright, let's go. Ready?
That was amazing.
Where is it?
Is this it? Rheo Thompson.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Hi, there.
Gonna box some chocolate and jelly.
For this detour, we need to package and label
correctly 10 boxes of chocolates,
and 10 boxes of jellies.
So you're using the white ones.
- I'm using the black ones. - Okay.
Are you gonna separate them first?
I guess.
I think they were separated.
Let's just go back and check.
I think they're separated.
- They're separated. - Yeah.
We have this huge wrapper paper,
and we think we need to detach
each and every single one of them,
and correctly wrap each jelly and each chocolate.
Arrr!
This will take forever.
I love candy, so I'm excited about this.
How are you doing there?
I'm good. How are you?
I'm not doing so good here.
Why? What do you need?
See this? My hands are not very big.
- Will you help me? - Do it with this.
Oh, look at you!
He's like a candy or chocolate guy, or something.
Ah!
Yes!
I'm just so proud of my man for figuring this out!
I think we're gonna be quiet about our discovery.
Just do your own thing. Do your own thing.
The lead that we had is disappearing
- right before my eyes. - Yes!
I'm sorry.
Oh, that looks like it's gonna be right there.
Yup. Evon Boat Rentals.
Ahh!
Just have to get six clues, and then we come back.
And we're off.
Like a herd of turtles.
You saw what they look like?
Well, they're like that.
We'll go right at it, and I'll just grab it.
Let me stretch here.
Nice!
Once we start collecting clues,
we realize that they're all gonna spell something,
but we don't know what.
Yeah, nice. Yoink!
So, what words have a D in it?
"Dove." Dove minus the D.
Of. Queen.
Queen of...
These seats aren't made for tall people,
I'll tell you that much.
We can wrangle up some of these geese.
They'll just pull us.
En garde.
Good job, honey!
I think...
I'll give you a clue.
Yeah!
Awesome.
- Thank you. - Detour.
Let's pedal. We're gonna pedal.
Yeah, one more time. Thank you.
I do have this perfectionist image about myself
that I really try to live up to.
Okay, and all the way down to my knee.
- That's it. - One more time
at that speed, please.
I've just tried to be perfect my entire life,
so to fail, that to me is terrifying.
That's great!
Okay. Well, again.
En garde!
Here it comes. He's got it.
Aah!
Beautiful acting.
What would you like next... a clue?
Yes, ma'am!
There you go.
- Okay, pedal. - Pedal, let's go.
Ah!
Okay, very top.
En garde!
Oh!
- Well done. - Oh, my god.
Nice to see you onstage.
Thank you!
Package. Let's go!
Yes!
I feel good about not being in last.
We've never been this far behind in the pack,
so it's little nerve-wracking.
Again. Thank you.
Okay, can we go from the top of the second section?
Top of the second section?
Thank you, and then we'll go over it
like 10 times in a row.
Again, sorry, from the top of the second.
Again with the second one, please.
From the very top. Sorry.
One more time, thank you.
Can we do that again?
We've never been this far behind in the pack,
so it's a little nerve-wracking.
Here we go.
I'm good. Let's go.
En garde.
Oh!
How about a clue?
I'd love that!
This has been my dream, to be on this stage.
- Well done! - So this was amazing!
Go get changed! Hurry!
Okay, I'll go get changed!
We're gonna pedal.
We have to pedal our hearts out.
- Is this the last one? - Yeah.
T. T...
Plus H-E is "THE."
Queen of the, the Queen of the Green?
We decide that the puzzle says Queen of the Green.
What does that mean?
I'm wondering if Queen of the Green means anything to you.
- No. - No problem.
We'll try and ask someone else.
Kwame and Dylan just showed up.
We're gonna get in here, rock it, and get out.
Simple as that.
Back, back, back.
Why is it going so slow?
Because it goes slow! It's not a motorboat.
I think you gotta use your arms, man.
Use both.
Don't worry about the steering right now.
Don't worry about steering?
Oh, whoa, whoa, whoa.
Hey, Dyl--
Whoops!
Rough.
Ooh, good workout for my quads.
Ah! Slowly.
One puzzle piece.
Forward, move on.
Gonna do this quickly because there's a couple teams
ahead of us, and this is our chance to catch up.
We want to get the heck out of here first.
We want to score our first number one spot,
which would be great.
We just need to make one more chocolate box.
You're like thebomb.com, you know that?
So we have all the jellies ready,
the rest of the chocolate's ready,
but this one last step, the label and the ribbon,
has to be just perfect.
It goes out like that,
and then there's a sticker on the left.
I wonder how meticulous they are
about this sticker.
Do the best that you can, okay?
Shoot, I'm sorry, babe.
That is okay. It's okay.
Calm down.
- Queen of the Green? - Excuse me.
Do you have a phone?
- Go right ahead. - Thanks so much.
Queen...
of... the square.
It's Queen of the Square.
Stratford City Hall.
We found out that it's actually Queen of the Square,
not Queen of the Green.
I'm hoping that's the right place.
It's gotta be.
The girls are catching up to us.
- What? - They're catching up.
Kwame's looking back at us.
- We're coming for you! - Woo!
Yo, how are they catching us?
Oh, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa!
Really, bro?
Push with your legs.
Hi, boys.
It's nice out today, isn't it?
Oh, man!
We suck right now.
Chocolate for you and me.
We're just like trying to do it as fast as possible.
Can we get a check, please?
I'm proud of that work.
One of these boxes is not correct.
You got all the chocolate ones checked, right?
Yes. Oh, this one right here.
Oh.
We're close. We're close.
Princess plus he.
I don't get it.
Blue bird minus the D.
Queen blueberry tea?
I wonder if it's that big thing right there?
City Hall.
Um...
Let's just go in.
We run into City Hall...
and Jon is there?
Why?
Let's go for our backpacks.
Backpacks!
And we sprint back to our Equinox.
Stratford City Hall, nicknamed Queen of the Square,
is a national historic site that today will act
as the fifth pitstop
on The Amazing Race Canada Heroes Edition.
The last team to check in here may be eliminated.
Welcome to Stratford, Ontario,
home of the world-renowned Stratford Festival.
Thank you!
Taylor, Courtney,
you two are the first team to arrive.
And as a result, you have won a trip for two
- to London, England. - Oh, my god!
I never expected to be first, and this is amazing.
- We're team number one. - Number one!
How you doing?
Just a little tense 'cause I want to get this done.
So far, we've done two.
Two of 20. 10% there.
Can we get a check, please?
- Thank you. - Congratulations.
- Queen of the Square. - Is that it?
Yeah, let's go find someone.
We'll find someone who will help us.
Oh, that is atrocious.
This is my bad. I do apologize.
Check, please.
Congratulations.
Yay! Thank you so much!
Thank you very much.
Queen of the Square.
- What? - Okay.
Okay.
Do you know where Queen of the Square is?
Across the street, hang a left...
Do you know where Queen of the Square is?
- It's right over there. - Thank you, sir!
Bye, puppies.
We gotta arrange these in order
to find our next clue.
Dove, green...
Green tea.
T-B-I-R, minus the D.
Bir... It's bir-something.
Minus the D in dove...
The wing is the same colour as the...
Is that green or teal?
Get it over.
Okay, fast. Ready?
We're still in last,
so we have to pedal as fast as we can,
and get out of there.
Do not peck me.
Don't peck, please.
On one side of the detour,
we are in last place with the chocolates.
We've only seen two other teams.
We don't know how the other side of the detour is going.
I'm gonna hope that their challenge is
more difficult, and it's taking them longer.
We're just hoping to stay alive right now, to be honest.
We're just hoping to stay alive right now,
- to be honest. - Yellow, orange.
- There you go. - Okay, candies are done.
Okay, come on. Let's go check the stickers.
Hard!
Last one, last one.
Why doesn't this thing have a motor?!
We have to arrange them in the proper order.
Squared?
What's minus D?
It's minus D, or is it dash D, or is it duh?
You don't know that it's minus D.
Is this Queen of the Square?
Do you want to go in?
Yeah, I think we should.
Oh, my gosh, it's Jon!
- It's Jon! - What?!
Come and join us, you guys!
Martina and Phil, Courtney and Adam,
all four of you need your backpacks.
Oh, my god, oh, my god!
Go, go, go.
Come on, sweetie.
- Hurry. - Gotta push it.
Come on, come on!
There you are, you two.
- Bring it over! - Ah, ah!
That's it. There you go.
Courtney and Adam, you are the second team to arrive.
And, Martina and Phil, you are the third team to arrive.
- Thank you. - Congratulations, you guys.
We were so close to second.
It's just like ahh, Jon!
We were wondering if you might be able to help us.
Okay.
It looks kind of like a love bird.
Yeah, that's what I thought.
- It's not a dove. - It's not a dove?
It doesn't have the right shape for a dove.
And there's a Princess Street on the other side of the river.
Princess Street?
Let's give it a try. Princess Street.
It's the only lead we have.
I don't know if it's queen. I don't know if it's princess.
- I know, like... - Argh!
Okay, let's just start saying it out loud.
Looking at that is doing nothing for me.
And I legit feel like I'm gonna pass out.
This is a toughie.
Oh, and the boys are right behind us.
Keep going. Just keep going.
- You guys stuck? - Yeah.
You too? Yeah, no idea.
Yo, I don't trust them. Let's follow them.
The boys are drafting off us again,
just like the water.
They're leeches.
Is this open, this tourism thing?
Let's check it out.
Oh, come on, you guys.
Hi, how can we help? You're looking to go somewhere?
We are. Can you help us with a puzzle?
Absolutely.
Shoot, they gone, bro.
We lose Nancy and Mellisa.
Now we're wandering around with no clue where we're going.
- In here? - Yeah.
Then some people tell us they saw other teams
going into a building.
Jon's there on the mat.
You guys feeling a little light?
Yeah, I think so.
Give me your bags.
I'm wonder if queen and square would be--
the Queen of the Square is our City Hall building,
which is right across the street.
That would be my best bet for you.
I'm sorry if I'm wrong. Come back.
I'll keep thinking about it.
No, I love you! Thank you so much.
Oh, you go!
Right here, right here, right here!
'Atta girls! You're thinking now!
Dylan, Kwame,
you're the fourth team to arrive, gentlemen.
Congratulations, boys.
We'll make some room for the ladies here.
You leeches, you.
Horseshoes up their ass.
Yeah.
Nancy and Mellisa,
you are now officially the fifth team to arrive.
Congratulations, ladies.
Good job, you guys. Good job.
I have absolutely no clue what this is.
We're wondering if you'd be able to help us.
My daughter's really good at this stuff.
It's the City Hall.
You are literally the best.
You're the best. Thank you.
Thank you. Thank you all.
I have a feeling we are in dead last.
Okay, and these are done.
Perfect. Ready for a check.
Congratulations.
Queen of the Square?
- Let's go. - Okay.
We are done!
Leanne and Mar, ladies, I can't check you in
because you're a little light.
Oh, my god.
We need our backpacks.
- Go this way, Leanne! - This way!
We're not going home!
Excuse me.
We're looking for Queen of the Square.
It's at City Hall.
- At City Hall? - It is, okay.
Should we just run it?
We need our bags.
Oh, yeah. Let's go.
Leanne and Mar, ladies, you're the sixth team to arrive.
Congratulations.
Oh, my god.
Oh, my god, we're not, we're not done.
We just didn't want to let down the kids.
We're doing this for so many kids in Toronto,
and we didn't want to let them down.
There's so many schools that need this bullying program,
and so many schools that can't afford it,
and we just want to give back any way that we can.
This is our everything.
This is what we've been working for, for four years,
so to hear that we're the sixth team is so good
because if you're not last, you can still be first.
This is such a reality check to us
that this is anyone's race.
We've been sitting comfortably.
You can't sit comfortably.
You are never safe, ever.
Zainab and Monica, ladies,
you are the last team to arrive.
What happened out there today?
It's so much harder than it looks, all of it.
I mean, we made it almost halfway, I think.
That's pretty decent.
From the other side of the world to right here,
that was one of the longest legs in Amazing Race Canada history.
And it ain't over yet. Ladies, here's your next clue.
You're still racing.
Rip and read! You got more to do.
What?!
Make your way to Canada's largest city, Toronto, Ontario.
Ladies, you know where you're headed.
See you at the next mat.
Thank you! Oh, my god, Jon!
Another second life?
We're still in the race.
Oh, my god!
Next time on The Amazing Race Canada Heroes Edition...
- We're goin' home! - Brrrrap!
Teams keep racing and join the masses in Toronto...
We have to take public transit.
What's TTC?
...where a roadblock has teams
trying to get ahead of the pack.
If it doesn't fit, force it.
Man mentality.
A detour has teams dancing to their own beat.
We came to slay, baby.
And a double U-turn...
We've been U-turned and it sucks.
...causes some soul-searching.
We don't have to use this,
but I also don't want to lose the race.
My heart is saying don't, but...
We gotta play dirty.
But my head is saying absolutely.
