has been co-opted into making
the case for WMDs in Iraq

and ignoring calamity in New Orleans

when it's not preoccupied
by Lindsay Lohan and Britney Spears.

And when you consider how critical a
free press is in a democracy like ours,

it's particularly loathsome.

But you wanna know
what's really loathsome?

Trying to convert
your justifiable outrage

into a personal financial windfall.

If Sam Russell were that concerned
about the state of the media,

he wouldn't have quit.

He would have stayed on

and worked to change the system
from the inside

rather than running to you
for a handout.

It could go either way.

Then it won't inconvenience them
to go our way.

Even if they rule for us, there's
