As she telephoned the police, the attack
was resumed, this time at the rear of

the house.

And the man whom Lynn Walker has
confirmed in her statement she knew as

Knowles broke in through a side window.

And on photograph five and photograph
six.

He attacked Lynn Walker in her kitchen.

And then...

chased after her holding a kitchen knife
as she escaped via the front door.

Fingerprint examination of that knife
revealed two clear prints and computer

identification produced an exact match
to one Eric Fowler, aged 42.

I tell you that following this attack on
Lynn Walker with a knife, an officer

was assigned to investigate the case,
Detective Sergeant Babington.

Any unilateral actions taken by Michael
Walker outside of Detective Sergeant

Babington's inquiry would be unofficial
and contrary to good and proper police

practice, however understandable they
might be.

Nevertheless, that Thursday evening,
about five o 'clock, you'll hear that

Michael Walker visited the address of

appointment to the very top echelon of

married, even be tempted

to do what the Crown has suggested?
