It couldn't

the same telescope
that took these pictures.

an hour away from it
when radio contact was lost.

I take it the S.O.S.
came out of that blur?

This shot here was
just taken a few hours ago.

It's relatively small
and located in and area
we've had little activity in.

If it wasn't for Lindy's signal
we'd probably still miss it.

that wormholes open
and close like a door.

through space-time,

an entrance to a room
sitting next to us,

or more accurately,
next to the moon.

For as long
as the door remains open,

distant space

distortion patterns

that explain why we're only
now receiving Vegan 4's S.O.S.
