My name is Cameron Turner.

16 years ago, my dad was an astronaut on a mission to intercept an asteroid

headed for Earth.

Recently, he disappeared without a trace.

And now weird stuff has begun to happen.

My only clue is a graphic novel he was working on called Mission Dawn.

It's up to me and my friends to use Mission Dawn to uncover the truth and

my dad.

Brady Turner was a hero.

Captain Brady Turner was put in command to intercept the asteroid that was on a

collision course with Earth.

I get it. My dad was a hero. You and everyone else. These last few years, he

wrote those comic books and he was obsessed.

How can this be your dad's space suit? It was all charred up. Are we going to

ask Lucy why her dad is your dad's ship?

If you ever try to deceive me again, I will make it my mission to destroy you.

They're aliens, dude.

They're big aliens.

What did I do to deserve the royal treatment?

Well, I thought given the day it is.

The anniversary of Miss Tunga.

With everything going on recently, I'd almost forgotten to.

Yeah, almost.

You know, with your father gone, it's even more important that we put on a

face.

Sit, honey, eat.

More reporters.

They've been calling all morning. Just ignore it. What if we don't?

Hmm?

The reporters, what if we use them and try and find Dad?

Ever since the cops called their investigation, maybe they'll turn up

new. I don't think it's a good idea.

I don't get it, Mom.

It's not like we've had any opportunity like this.

Don't you want to find Dad?

I said I don't think it's a good idea, Cameron.

We don't know they would do anything but exploit our family for a story.

Seems like you care more about hanging out with Hugh Condon, searching for Dad

lately. That's not fair.

Hugh has been very good to us since your father... Left?

Did he?

We have to find Dad, Mom.

I have to.

I'll think about it.

Man, what a morning, huh?

Don't worry, I don't believe a word of it.

A total smear job.

What are you talking about, Boris?

You mean you guys didn't see?

Yikes.

Here.

Tunguska Mission.

A cover -up of a global proportion?

What does it say, Boris?

Well, it says that the astronomical charts that NASA used were doctored to

it look like Earth was in danger, when in fact the asteroid was going to miss

entirely, even without our intervention.

That's ridiculous.

Those men your father led died up there.

Astronauts Higgins, Dawkins, Pleskin, Turner.

If what they're saying is even true, then why would they go up there in the

first place?

This is Ruby Turner.

I've seen the paper, and I'd like to issue a statement.

Mrs. Turner! Mrs. Turner! Mrs. Turner, over here! Mrs. Turner! Mrs. Turner!

Because of the recent circumstances surrounding my husband, he's not here

today to rebut these ridiculous claims.

Mrs. Turner! Mrs. Turner! Can you confirm that the Tunguska mission was

No, I certainly cannot.

Mrs. Turner, where's your husband now? If you'll let me finish.

These rumors are insults to the men and women who lost their lives. Why isn't he

here to defend against these allegations himself?

I can't watch. I don't know where my husband is. These animals.

Isn't Captain Turner's very absence today as good as an admission of guilt?

All right, listen. Listen, everyone.

Now, the only reason we're having this press conference is because we don't

where he is either.

Now, maybe...

If you all actually did something useful for once, you could help us find him.

And then you could ask him these questions instead of interrogating his

his son. The sons of Orion demand justice!

Leave Miss Turner alone.

Dude, that's the Bobo guy from the Olivine House.

I'll get back to my Bobo.

Maybe he knows where my dad is.

Let's go.

Mrs.

Turner! Mrs. Turner!

My job's a ninja!

I got him.

What? What does it say?

Robert Higgins, engineer, M44.

He's an astronaut from my dad's mission.

Yeah, but Higgins died on the Tunguska mission.

I guess we're looking at a ghost, Boris.

I'd like those back, kid.

Those are really yours? You're really Astronaut Higgins?

That's something I check.

And I have to check a lot these days.

Well, don't you remember us?

I mean, we've met before. The online house?

I remember he's not what he used to be.

This guy's still one bird short of the cuckoo's nest. Yeah, I'm damaged good.

So what?

You're back at the press conference.

You stopped that protester.

Why'd you run?

Press conference?

That doesn't ring a bell.

But if I ran, it was for a good reason, because I don't like being followed.

We just want to ask you a few questions about my dad.

How would I know anything about your dad?

You knew about him at all of mine, huh?

I'm Brady Turner's son.

Captain Turner?

Do you remember your mission?

Yeah, what was the real reason why you were sent to the Tunguska asteroid? I

keep telling you.

I don't know. My memory, it's shot.

Maybe we could refresh it for you. Or paint him a picture.

Check this out. The Tunguska 2 mission was sent to stop an asteroid from

the Earth.

It was going to blow us to bits.

But then, the mission succeeded.

You were heroes.

You said everyone but my dad died up there.

They say we died up there.

Because we did.

Wait, you mean you're... You're a ghost?

Because of what we really saw on that asteroid.

They couldn't risk us being released back into the public.

Do you remember?

Just before launch, our mission objectives changed.

If you say so, Mission Control.

Don't worry, Captain Turner.

You're in my hands now.

You can trust me.

What was your new mission?

They wanted us to recover something from the asteroid.

It must have been the aliens.

What is that?

They're everywhere.

Is that why they made you disappear?

Because you knew too much.

Why did my father get to go free?

Brady Turner was the face of the mission.

He walked away a hero and alive.

But he walked through the same nightmare we all did first.

All of our house.

We knew too much.

They wanted to take it from us. Who? Who sent you there? The most manipulative,

self -serving man I ever had the misfortune to trust.

Hugh Condon.

Don't worry, man.

I've got you.

You want more answers about your father? You better follow me. Where are we

going? To find my Bobo.

You're a teddy bear. You never come between a man and a stuffed animal cam,

okay? Mr. Fuzzy and I were best friends when I was younger.

You got issues, man.

No, I don't. Yeah, you do.

How'd you know?

Crazy guy thinks you have issues.

20 minutes till deadline.

If this stuff is anything like those star charts, my bosses are going to make

you a very rich man.

So to speak.

Because this, this is gold.

I know. These kind of places give me indigestion.

This is an awful long way to go just for your teddy bear, man.

Shh. He might actually know something about your dad, okay?

My barometric observation sensor.

This is Bobo.

Oh, it's an acronym!

See, we just thought you were crazy.

Barometric observation, you mean like weather? One of the surest signs that

aliens have breached the atmosphere is weather phenomena.

Sudden downpours, solar flares, atypical eclipses. My machine tracks them.

Then, mate, what's the other B -O in Bobo stand for?

Barometric observation.

I named it twice, so I wouldn't forget.

So, what, you think aliens figure into my dad's disappearance?

He was searching for something, and it won't stop until they find it.

Your dad didn't realize it, but he was searching for it, too.

How do you know that thing's really going to work?

Well, his other machine tracked the aliens, remember?

The first time he met Stella?

There they are!

Aliens!

Don't remind me. Wait, I built another machine?

Mabobo?

Mabobo?

Mabobo! Take it easy.

Just relax, man. I'm just fumbling in the dark.

What did you say?

Where do you come up with all this stuff, Dad?

It's so cool.

I don't really know, son. I mean, these images and symbols just sort of come to

me when I sit down to work.

Which is a good thing, because I'm mostly just fumbling in the dark.

Just like my dad.

When you start working, you remember.

Yeah, I guess I do.

Maybe your memories are trying to come out through your subconscious.

You know what that means?

It means all the clues that my dad put in the graphic novel were really just

locked away in memory.

And when he would draw, it'd be like turning the key.

You know, he wasn't putting them in there intentionally, just trying to find

answers. They stole something from us.

We just want it back.

Hold on.

I'm picking up something big headed our way.

A huge atmospheric pressure shift.

What is it?

You better cross your fingers, kid.

This might be just the break we were looking for.

Well, gang.

Looks like he went back on the menu.

Stella?

Remembered. I'm touched.

And your little friend Bobo, too.

Actually, it's Boris.

Wasn't talking about you, sweetie.

That machine.

They've been tracking us.

Fascinating.

Destroy it and get rid of the humans.

Get behind me, boys.

Oh, what, is your crazy friend gonna protect you now?

He's not crazy.

He knew who you were all along.

It's too bad you have to go. Wait, Gabriel.

Think about what you're doing.

Don't tell me you've become attached to them now.

I just think that the small ones could make a good bed.

Well, I think they'd be better as snacks.

Aren't you coming?

Whose daughter are you on anyway?

Hey, E .T., go home!

Next one, Brady.

I'm out.

Okay.

Get away from him.

Well, well, well.

If it isn't Hugh Condon.

Try not to move. You're going to need medical attention.

Get him over to the medical bay.

Now.

Wait, wait!

Look, it's done.

He'll be fine.

Find Brady, and you'll find the truth.

All right, easy now. Easy, easy.

Have you seen my Bobo?

I miss my Bobo. Where are you taking him? Somewhere safe.

You mean like Olivine House?

You mean like that plea that you swore didn't exist?

That man is a danger to himself and to others.

We know that you had Higgins the astronaut committed.

Look, you don't know what you're talking about.

The mission changed them. Anything he's told you is from some twisted reality.

Higgins belonged there for his own good.

Like my dad?

Yeah. We know that you sent him there, too.

Your father was a very good friend of mine. He's not dead.

No.

He's not.

You know where he is.

Look, you are not thinking clearly.

You're a liar.

I wouldn't believe you even if you told me.

Come on, Boris, let's go.

Let's go.

Come on, man.

You know I'm all for telling Hugh Connan to stick it, but do you really have a

plan?

Look, Hugh had all the astronauts committed to Olivine House, so there'd

evidence, right? But he forgot about one person, himself, dude.

He knows the real reason behind the Tunguska mission, and he knows the truth

about where to find my dad, I'm sure of it.

Yeah, but how are we going to find that out? My dad may have drawn his memories

into Mission Dawn, but it's been up to us to figure them out.

Everything that we've uncovered has led us to this point.

We just need to figure out why.

We know that the mission wasn't about stopping an asteroid, so... So why were

they sent up there?

And what was so important that you kind of literally wiped their minds to keep

them from talking?

Whatever those aliens are trying to find now, my dad knows how to stop them.

Find my dad, stop the alien invaders.

It's gravy.

You with me, dude?

To the moon and back, brother. Yeah.

Let's go.

Let's do this.

I'm sorry I asked you to come so late. It's fine.

What's your concern?

I can't have this in my home anymore.

It's too dangerous.

I thought it was destroyed.

How did you recover it?

I didn't. Cameron did.

Cameron?

Is he aware of its power?

No, and it's crucial it stay that way.

Do you know where he is?

My husband?

No.

I'm afraid I don't.

There's a problem with these files.

You gave me everything.

They're too good.

If anybody ever found out that you're the leak, your life would be in

My life.

If you will roll with this ball, I've got a dozen other media outlets who

And I can take care of myself just fine, thanks.
