That doesn't mean Sam wasn't having some
kind of trouble.

There'd be traces of oil all over this

Might have had a plugged fuel line. He

Boy, the closest I ever got to a plane
in Vietnam was when they flew us over

there. Yeah, I know. But sometimes when
you're dealing with somebody you think

might be a horse thief, it's a good idea
to try to convince him that you know a

thing or two about horses.

Now, why would a pilot light a smoke
flare if he's already landed?

that the pilot could gauge his wind

I ran into him at the plane.

paid to smuggle something or someone
