miles down the road.

Mr. Jones, I couldn't have killed that
girl.

I don't think I could kill anyone.

Well, I'm not sure I can go along with
lying to the police.

there'd be no questions, no more

investigation. They'd throw me back in
that hospital probably for the rest of

Doctor, Tim tells me that in spite of a
series of exhaustive tests, you were

never... able to determine exactly what
causes blackouts, either physically or

emotionally. Well, that's true as far as
it goes.

You have to remember that much of Tim's
life has been like one long emotional

ping -pong match. First of all, his
mother dies, after which his father

Alicia's mother, a woman that Tim
actively hated.

Then his father and his stepmother are
both killed in a light airplane

This woman that Tim hated, that was
Alicia's mother. That's right.

But there is no blood relationship

Now, that didn't stop Alicia from being
devoted to Tim the two years that he was

here. I don't think she missed one day
for visiting.

The point I was trying to make is that
while we couldn't find any specific

fertile ground for trouble.
