the brutal shooting of a New York State
policeman who was able to describe his

assailant before lapsing into a coma.

The assailant's car was discovered
abandoned on a secondary road in

Pennsylvania. Because the gunman had
driven the stolen car across state

the FBI entered the case.

Agents arrived at the scene and
immediately joined state police officers

search of the area.

After he abandoned the car, he had me go
into the woods with him.

He said he was going to keep me as a
hostage.
