Research Corporation, was arrested by
the FBI on charges of espionage.

Malloy, a special assistant to DeSales
Corporation director Frederick Oliver

Scott, had been identified as a member
of a communist espionage ring. But what

the FBI was about to learn was that the
penetration of the DeSales Corporation

had reached even higher levels.

The arrest of Malloy became the first
link in a chain of events which would

launch the FBI into one of the most
extensive and important espionage

investigations ever conducted in Bureau
history.

I have to view this whole thing as an
attack on the scientific community.
