Forensic Pathology Demonstration Lecture

in your annual San Diego police
procedure.

This morning we'll be discussing basic
autopsy techniques and how they apply to

police investigation methods.

Now then, we make the frontal incision
here, just below the sternum, and move

down through the abdomen like this.

It would, of course, be necessary to
break the sternum if we wanted to

Recreating the scene of the crime. When
confronted with the actual surroundings

of a crime scene, witnesses are often
able to recall with startling accuracy

details which were foggy before.
