Hey, Michael Carbonaro here. You're like
me. You're spending the holiday season

sitting alone on a bench.

Some reason people don't invite me into
their home.

Yes, the holiday season is upon us. A
time of warmth, good cheer, and hidden

cameras. I've decided to help you
navigate the upcoming weeks with a

episode of never -before -seen bits of
craziness that I'm going to call the

Carbonaro Effect Holiday Survival Guide.

Let's start off with a look at
everyone's number one holiday concern,

the masses.

You want to make a beautiful
Thanksgiving dinner for your family, but

want to exert any effort.

Have I got the product for you.

This is a new product called Canicopia.

It's for Thanksgiving, and it's
supposedly really tasty. I haven't

just saw the video on how to open it.
It's like all of Thanksgiving?

The next layer spans underneath it a
little bit, and there's the turkey.

So you get both the turkey and the
cranberry.

And the potatoes are in there, too.

that. That's the stuffing.

So, yeah, that's the potatoes, the
cranberry, the stuffing, the turkey, and

this one.

Oh, yeah, the beans with the crispies in
it, you know? You get those nice

crispies in there.

So it's all in there, yeah.

Yeah, I didn't even know there was corn
at the bottom there, yeah.

I think it just released.

Yeah, see how it's wet?

So the wet products come out. Oh, my
God, that's whole dinner.

And here we go, a little... Oh, ha!

It comes with, like, a little turkey for
your, like, turkey dinner. Oh, my God.

That's funny.

And then one more, maybe.

Or separate is dessert, apple pie.

Oh, there we go. We live in the future
now.

Yeah. The other thing they did on this,
once it's all out of the way, the label

can peel off like that.

And then that you can lay down like
this.

It's kind of flattened, and you have to
kind of pop the edges out of each one

like that.

Yeah, and the label actually is the
tablecloth, see?

Oh, wow.

Okay.

So you can have the tablecloth, too, for
your meal.

Whole Thanksgiving.

That is wildly expensive.

Nice stuff, right?

Yeah. How much are these cans?

These are, you know, they're like, I
think it's like $39 .99 a can. But

a special today. Let me check the
coupon. I think we have a special.

We also sell New Year's Eve in a can. It
comes with champagne, a noisemaker, and

someone whose name you can't remember in
the morning.

Of course, holiday cooking can be
exhausting, unless you use the latest in

-saving kitchen aids.

Here are a couple of people who will not
only believe anything, they'll

apparently eat anything.

This is our squid ink pasta pen.

It's a pre -mix inside of a pen, so it's
made just like a pen. It's got the tip

of a pen on it.

and that has the squid ink inside it. So
you just draw into your bowl a little

swirl like that.

Try and coil it. The shape doesn't
really matter, but I like to keep it in

connected long swirl.

And then you add a little bit of water,
and you can see it expands under the

water. You know, a squid's ink expands
to...

So that'll expand inside the water. And
you just want to start to dance. You

kind of want to swirl it around a little
bit.

And they start to stick to each other.

And then you pick up.

Look at that.

Holy cow. Just like that, a little bit.

And, yeah, so it's like drawing dinner.

So a little bit of broth for you.

Look at that.

You can give that a try.

Yeah. Sure, thank you.

Who came up with that?

Well, they've been writing with squid
ink for years.

Someone wrote a recipe with squid ink on
a card and it got wet and the ink

started lifting off the card. And that's
when he noticed it had the same

consistency when it gets transformed to
pasta. So they just added a little bit

of pasta flour.

That's amazing.

And you can draw dinner.

How many dinners? Yeah, this will serve
a

family of four for a month.

How does it taste?

Great. Great.

Yes,

only the finest foods come from writing
implements.

Are you ready for dessert?

Who doesn't love chocolate?

Have you tasted our chocolate that we do
with absorption?

Oh, it's really good. It's really good.

Do you want to take one home? Oh, great.

Okay. It's just a basic sponge cake and
just a regular vanilla buttercream

frosting.

And we do each one individually, so we
do this at a party, too, if you want.

Okay. And we put the cupcake inside
there like that.

It just gets a little bit of chocolate
right directly on top of it. Oh, my

goodness. Oops.

Yeah.

The lid's a little loose there.

And because, you know, sponge cake is
called sponge cake for a reason, you

It'll soak it up. Yeah, it'll soak it
up, and it absorbs it.

And then I just tap it inside like that
a little.

Okay. Agitation.

So when you, like if I ordered them, do
you put the chocolate syrup on here or I

do it when I get home? You can do it
when you get home. A lot of people like

do it themselves. Like I was going to
serve it later. Because it tastes the

fresh.

Oh my.

When it happens instantly.

That is so amazing.

Yeah.

That is so cool.

Yeah. When you bake chocolate, it sort
of loses its flavor a little bit.

So it's best to do all of the baking
first.

How do you not get any, like, in the
box? It sucks it all right up.

Unbelievable. Yeah, it absorbs it.
That's so cool.

Yeah, and it's, I mean, you can smell
how potent that is, right?

I love that idea. But you take that
home, and I would eat it within the next

hours. Oh, okay. Yeah.

It's the best that way.
