What's it been like watching her host

her favorite show?

When you stop and think about it,

it's so crazy because we both love this show so much.

She's the one that introduced me.

- Is Ariana as big as a fan as she claims to be?

"Love Island" language, for sure.

That was -- that was, like, how we spoke.

- Yeah, it became our entire personality.

No, it was like literally my first piece of "Love Island,"

you know, lore was from Katie.

- Yeah. Katie, what do you make of this year's islanders?

- Everyone is so attractive. Like, I was just watching them.

Just like, "Wow. Stunning, gorgeous, handsome," you know.

The men have disappointed, but I'm used to that.

I think we all are.

- Men are disappointing, no matter what.

Men are a disappointment.

- But the women, I'm so proud of them.

And I want to just hug them.

I want to be friends with all of them.

I see myself in so many of them,

watching them all bond and become friends.

It's so much of why I got interested in the show

and why it hooked me.

And I just, I'm deeply obsessed.

- I mean, yeah, you can get hooked so quick.

- We need to talk about Movie Night.

- Well, we came, and we watched it.

- Yeah, we had a little movie night ourselves watching,

screaming at the TV.

- Yeah. So, we saw all of it.

I always wish that more could be shown

because obviously we've seen episode after episode,

like full episodes,

and it would be great to just let them see all of that.

Yeah.

- Um, I think that Aaron could not just sit there

and understand that he did these things, and then he stormed out.

And just, like, so dramatic.

Like, she should be the one storming out.

- Exactly! - What are you storming out for?

- I don't remember what it was, but he told her.

He's like, "I know you're smarter than this"

to, like, respond this way,

as if, like, to invalidate her true, real emotions

- What are highlights from Movie Night?

- You know, at first I felt like, you know,

when all of this stuff about with Leah and Liv

came up, and the girls were going at it again, you know,

of course,

felt, like, really sad because they are such good friends.

But the fact that they work it out every time,

and right afterwards they're standing up for each other

against anything that any of the boys have done.

- It feels very familiar. - It does.

But I'm the same as you.

I love how they all just come back together

stronger than ever, all the time.

- Yeah, all the time. They're like sisters.

- Yeah. Do you think Movie Night was good for the Villa to see?

Like, because now they can, like, get past that, resolve it?

- I think in a lot of ways, it can be therapeutic.

It's hurtful.

But if you can get past it, you can heal.

- I always feel like it's better to have all the information

and then be able to move accordingly.

- Yeah. - I think the key is the honesty.

Yeah, that's true.

- Because even someone like Miguel,

who did go to Casa, did bring someone back.

I feel like he was very up front with,

like, what he was here to do the entire time.

And obviously now he's in a couple with Leah again.

But I think that because he was very honest the whole time,

you can't be mad at him.

That's true.

- Yeah, it's not like he lied about anything.

- Right. - Yeah.

Ariana, you dropped a surprise recoupling

on the islanders on Thursday.

Oh, look at ya! Jesus!

- Oh, that was fun, sneaking into the Villa.

Who was the most shocked?

- You know, when Liv was stood up there,

all the OG girls were crying.

They were shook because this is the first time

I think that the girls have lost one of the girls

that they are that close with, and she's just -- I feel

like she's such an important part of that friend group.

- Well, you delivered a hot bombshell to the Villa,

- Harrison. - Yes.

- Who was most surprised to see him, most excited?

- Oh, you know, the girls were all very excited.

- JaNa recognized him right away. - Immediately.

- The boys, I think they were intimidated.

And then, of course,

And I was so proud of her

for getting all of that inner turmoil worked out.

The Hideaway finally opened. They got to spend a night there.

I feel like there's sexual tension there

And I'm so happy that they're back together.

And Kendall's grown on me over the last couple of weeks,

and I'm just so happy for the both of them.

I feel like they're in a good position,

and I feel like the Hideaway, whenever you go in there,

it just amplifies what you already got.

- What do we actually make of Miguel and Leah as a couple?

- I love them. I just love them.

what do you feel you've learned from "Love Island"?

Like, there's a time and a place to yell.

And I don't get that at the start,

but I definitely have learned a lot about myself.

I think I've learned, also,

that some people need to go through their own journey,

and you don't always need to fight their battles.

As much as, like, I would not change that about myself,

but sometimes someone has to experience

and stand up for themselves to really work out,

and you can't always be the one doing that.

I miss them so much.

I think we might have been a little naive

to think it was rainbows and unicorns

on the other side of coming back from Casa.

I don't know what I expected.

But I didn't definitely expect JaNa

to be standing there, waiting for Kenny.

So when I walked in, I was kind of like, "Oh, shit!"

Very much so. It's like, "Ugh."

I think you can see my face. I was like, very shocked.

- And he disrespected you immediately.

Looking back now, do you wish

you had said something in that moment?

- Yes and no, because at the same time,

we had so many conversations

about how JaNa was such a wonderful woman

and how he had a really strong connection with her.

So at the end of it, like, I kind of knew.

But later on, me and JaNa had so many conversations.

She was like an older sister,

and she told me, like, she thought that I went about it

the classiest way.

I really much appreciate that.

And so I feel really happy about that. So it was really nice.

Were you surprised by how well you and Kordell got on?

I told him this from the beginning.

Like, watching them before I went in,

I can tell that they had a really strong friendship,

but I wasn't seeing, like, the romantic connection for them.

And going in, I don't regret, like,

not talking to any of the other boys.

Like, I genuinely liked Kordell for who he was.

So we just got on really well just based on the fact

that we were pretty similar in a lot of ways.

- That's the thing. I feel like with Casa,

if you had more time with him,

I feel like things would have progressed even more.

Where, like, I didn't see much of you guys

talking at all in the Villa after Casa.

- Yeah. - But in Casa, you, were,

like, joined at the hip. Do you know what I mean?

So it's hard to progress something if it's just

all this noise and smoke happening in the background.

but there was one comment mentioned

- Obviously, when I got out of the Villa

and I saw what they were talking about,

under his brother's photo 27 weeks ago,

when I was literally living in Australia.

So yeah, like, I think it's Photoshopped.

It's not true. Like, do you think the best way

for me to get to his brother

is to go kiss and, like, dry-hump Kordell?

What's one big thing

that's just flooding into DMs right now,

The fans, I think, are overwhelmingly passionate

- And I think they're seeing Rob and Aaron

as somehow able to kind of get away with things.

And I think that they're coming from it

from a place of obviously love and concern,

and we love our girls in that Villa, of course.

I mean, when you were --

Well, all of you guys, when you were in,

how did you feel about stuff like that?

You know, when you came out,

was there anything that you saw maybe online

that in a similar vein?

When you first come out,

like, it's obviously very, very different.

Luckily, there's people there to help you with that

and, like, a full support team

like, which all of these islanders

are gonna be getting when they leave the show.

But I just feel like you're gonna get negative --

Like, not everyone's gonna like you.

- Mm-hmm. - That's right. Yeah.

- Yeah. I just feel like at the beginning,

it's obviously hard, because it's a new life,

and, like, everyone knows who you are,

and it can be scary.

- There's a shock factor to that. Yeah.

- And I think people need to remember that,

that these people are real people

and they all have feelings.

Just because you've watched them on a TV show

does not mean that you know these people inside out.

- Mm-hmm. Exactly. - And be kind always.

That's what I say,

- Leaving any sort of hate comment on anyone's page,

regardless of how you feel about them on a show.

Like, they all have families,

like, reading those comments and stuff.

Just, like, there's just no need for it.

- Yeah. And I feel like the islanders are so good

about, like, they're going through things in there

and living it at their 100%.

And they're so good about, like, moving on

after something crazy has happened

or even just communicating like how they feel in that moment,

like, even the moment with, like, Leah and Rob and stuff.

Like, they talk about it, and then they move on.

And, like, Leah is doing great with Miguel now.

Like, you know, they understand,

like, they're here to live their lives to the fullest

and to share that with people.

So it's just like let's have some -- I don't know.

- Love and support. - Yeah. That's it.

- I second exactly what you said.

Like, you know, you can have an argument with somebody,

and within, like, the hour or two,

you could make up with that person and be good as gold

and have the best time of your life in that environment.

- It's an incredible show. - It is.

- Even sitting up here on this panel

having as much fun as I am here,

I look down there, I'm thinking, "Oh, I'd love

- to go down there again!" - A bit jealous.

- Yeah. And everyone wants to look back at this experience

but you're gonna learn so much about yourself.

I mean, I don't know what it's like

to, like, live that experience.

We have kind of a parallel, similar experience

of, like, putting your life out there

for public consumption.

You got to build that tough, thick skin.

But they'll get there, you know?

But I can't imagine going from, like, living

in this, like, sort of, like, vacuum to, like, coming out.

And it is just an entirely different world.

- Yeah. And seeing all that stuff on social media, as well.

- Yeah. - Like, that's so daunting.

- It's better just to not look at it,

because -- I don't know.

If I don't fuck with something, the last thing I'm doing

is, like, going and interacting with it.

- But, you know, obviously, I do think it is cool,

you know, we have such a passionate audience

and an audience that is loving this season and loving the show.

And I just hope people are being nice.
