And in the morning,
I dug his grave.

And then I rode and I found the closest sheriff
I could and I confessed to what I'd done.

They damn near laughed me
out of the office.

Said I hadn't done anything wrong.
Go back to work.

But I had done something wrong.

A man's wrongs matter.

But there's nothing as important

as what he does next.
