can be accounted for
in only two possible ways.

One: that I am being got at.

And two: that I am genuinely suffering
from some mental aberration.

So I want to try and analyse
what's happened.

But first of all,
I want to make it perfectly clear

that I don't think that you, Steed,
of all people,

are suffering from delusions
or a mental breakdown.

I believe you did see a girl
go into that house.

And that can only mean one thing:

that the house is being used
as a front for someone.

If the man at the house
on Fitzherbert Street was genuine,

I must accept
the second alternative.

There's only one way
to be quite sure about the house,

and that's to go inside.

You probably won't like that,
but that's what I intend to do.

For my own peace of mind,
I have to see inside that house.
