verbal distractions while my assistant

the curtain.

And then as the coffin magically rises
into the air, she makes her way to the

wings and ultimately reappears in the
audience.

But we could see her in the coffin when
it was going up.

What you saw was a projection and a
precisely synchronized, pre -taped

movie, if you will, is...

projected onto the side of the coffin as
it rises.

You remember that little wave of
farewell she gave?

That's on tape, too.

So the question is, why didn't Mrs. Ford
get out of the coffin and into the

compartment like she was supposed to?

Well, Mr.

Mason, because this plant wasn't open,
that's why.

You see, this wand was jamming it shut,
and once Miss Ford got in the scarf and

she was trapped, there was no place else
for her to go but down.
