(All groaning)

And immediately I'm seeing

(Laughter)

Just take the closest thing

My first thought was that

they were rose,

and rose is my favourite wine.

I realized the mistake that

I've made because now

I'm put right in the spotlight

on the very first day.

I did see the rose, but the

excitement with Paul in front of

us, it didn't even

cross my mind.

I was not going to grab

one of those.

That's too easy,

can't trick me there.

I think I scanned what

other people had, and I did see

another red, thinking that,

okay, it's a mix,

there's red and there's white.

So I grabbed the red.

Then it sort of dawned on me,

it hit me, I looked around and

went, I'm the only one,

plus this lovely lady

down the lane here.

This is going to be bad news.

with a bunch of people.

I was a police officer for 25

years in the UK, only 25 years.

And I think I can

New Zealand police, and the

Royal New Zealand Navy.

That will make me a threat.

Depends if you are a good

liar, I guess, and whether you

can be bare faced to people,

and that's quite

a difficult thing to do.

It is hard to lie.

Look at the panic on your

face just thinking about it.

I never hide it,

I might try.

Paul: How would it change

your life?

My dream would be to have

a nice piece of land in

Central Otago, with my cash,

and we can just live in peace.

my wife and daughter can do

I think I might've done a little

my behaviour.

I think my biggest strength

in this game is that I can

be relatable.

bad guy so it's just like...

I think I have an ability to

adapt to any conversation,

any situation.

The idea of being the bad guy

would be fun, but I was sort of

relieved that it was all over.

the place a little.

He was sort of segregating

himself from the group,

and he's not a team player.

Yeah.

And then when he said

to Paul, "Oh, will you take

a substitute?"

(Andrew chuckles)

You know, we can look at that

and go, hang on a minute...

Andrew: A lot of people are

talking about Mark, but I don't

want to be part of group think.

Just because he can seem

a little bit villainous.

So that's why you've latched

so quickly onto Mark.
