well started out domestically New York

Atlanta Mount Rushmore then Canada

Mexico but things started to take off so

Europe was next but really all over I'm

just scratching the surface there's lots

of places to visit well you must travel

frequently too any favorites not really

I don't get to really enjoy it well how

come it's work so much to do deadlines

expectations you know well that's no

fun

so what do you do to make the most of it

I make plans um explore go on some

Adventures

you don't strike me as one to uh

appreciate Adventure okay I brought

shorts so what does a non vacation on a

peaceful Island look like for

you uh meetings with prospective clients

phone calls and emails with my boss and

office back home dinner for one that

sounds exciting yeah pretty pitiful

toes in the ocean at least

much there's kaying snorkeling swimming

with stingrays and

sharks uh horseback riding hiking boat

charters ATV okay all right all right I

get it there's there's lots to

do so are you going to be doing any of

jealous can't be in meetings and typing

emails all day you must have a second to

break away and do something fun knowing

my luck I don't think I could risk

unfortunately it's ice season and

everything is booked but I have a very

nice room in my home clean quiet no air

conditioning but the breeze is cool this

time of year so who would like to

four and they're spread out I saw that

two are separate from the house down by

the pool so we'd each have our own space

you're suggesting that we both stay here

I think you find the exposure we can

bring to this island is worth it your

expensive really hell so I'm familiar

with the other Publications and their

marketing terms are more expensive than

ours I'm not talking travel magazines no

one needs I'm afraid I don't follow what

you're saying then the tourism board can

pay for someone of real influence to

come here visit and share experiences

online for far less than even one page

in your magazine well we have an online

division too and social media that's not

real everyone knows they're fake paid

for you're referring to bloggers and

influencers but those are hardly any

more real for tourists that want to

visit it's close enough and easy to

relate to so I must decline but thank

Mosby we've already had better results

with much less than you propose

work really as a as a business well I I

just started off by going wherever I

could afford to go but now I'm lucky

enough that different organizations ask

me to come out and write about them a

country City Resort Airline Etc with

some incentives of course

if you don't mind me asking what brought

you out here oh no it was the tourism

department so do you choose where to go

uh yeah but I have to be excited about

where I'm going you know if not it's

hard to be invested enough to make it

fun to talk about and show plus it's not

fair to whoever is bringing me out well

how often do you

travel too often

that's got to be hard though I know I

get tired of traveling although my

friends think it's exotic it can be hard

on family life I'm sure but you know you

can always bring family along ah no it's

just me and there is no way I'm bringing

my parents or my brother

alone do you have family back home no

but my friend who helps run the blog she

comes along

crunchy numbers trying to find the right

cost the client will go for don't you
