Pursued by Akasa, once the master's
student, now sworn to kill him.

But we knew Akasa would be behind us, in
the shadows, ready to strike again.

The guy in the jungle is an old friend
of the master, Leo Fairchild.

We were on our way to Hawaii at his
request.

He needed our help.

Unfortunately, we got there too late.

degrees from the previous noted banyan

tree, about 700 meters. I believe I am
at the entrance of the Kahani cave.

is that the chief placed the statue in a
cave, a kind of shrine on

Halakai, and Palmer made a map of it.
