- [Paul Henry] Previously.
- Gonna throw a crazy, crazy spanner
in the works here. - Yeah.
- [Paul Henry] The most treacherous of plans.
- Robbie.
The perfect seduction.
Almost sure that she's gonna get voted out.
(Robbie gaps) - Oh, so happy it's you guys.
- [Paul Henry] Looked to be unstoppable.
- [Contestant] Robbie has a new confidence about her.
- Hands up if you're a traitor.
(contestant laughs) Oh.
(contestants laugh)
- Oh sorry, I was getting a coffee.
- [Paul Henry] But the traitor's latest victim.
- Robbie.
- I'm so sorry.
- I am authentic, 100 percent.
But is a traitor.
(contestants gasp and cheer)
- [Paul Henry] Left with a sting in her tail.
- I'm sitting right opposite her eye line,
so she was staring him down.
- Not just that,
she looked at me and winked at me.
- [Paul Henry] That could expose everything.
- Dan Sing is like
in everyone's sight.
(knocking)
Oh God.
(dramatic music)
(Justine laughs)
- Oh, how lonely.
After the departure of Robbie,
we're all so pleased
that we got another traitor.
11.
Her level of playing was
(kiss) chefs kiss, man.
Here's a space full.
- What's up girl?
- Hey.
- There you go.
- Oh I'm so glad to see someone.
- Yeah, yeah.
- [Justine] So it still 11 plates.
- Oh gosh. - I know.
- During the round table last night,
Anna had my name on the chalkboard.
Otherwise it was a clear slate for Robbie.
I didn't defend myself well enough.
So tonight I gotta do it again.
- I never thought I'd make it this far.
- No, me either.
A part of me is like, "Yay, I'm here."
But another part of me is like, "Am I--"
- Is it because I'm a cabbage? - Yeah is it because
I'm messing up?
- Sometimes I think the reason
Kings has had a bit of a struggle
would be because he's a sweetheart.
And lying to people won't come naturally to him.
- Got any thoughts on anyone?
- I'm suspicious of Vanda,
but then I worry that it's because she's so sweet and quiet.
- She is quiet. - And not robust and
talking like the rest of us.
I just feel something's a bit off with her.
She's a bit slow coming forth
and I'm wondering if that's because she's hiding something.
When there's suspicion on people, there's a reason.
- Yeah.
- Yay. (Clapping)
- Hah!
- What a twosome.
- Way to go.
- I'm so glad to see you.
- And there's 11 plates again.
- Yeah.
- Oh.
- Hello Darling. - Call it seduction.
- It's a seduction. - Hello.
I think there's been a seduction overnight.
So I'm keeping an eye on Jazzie.
- I was worried about you actually.
- Yeah uh, I was worried about me too.
- I trust her outside of this game with my life.
Inside of this game, all bets are off.
- And while we are here,
let's think about who would be
a great seduction. - Good, we have been.
- Okay, Dylan. - Dylan.
(Colin laughs)
- I don't think Dylan's demeanour would change that much
because he's quite measured.
- Yeah. - At the same time
that's what I've been saying
about Dan is that, he's very careful.
He never speaks up.
- Anna said that she saw him and Robbie
having a bit of an eye battle.
- Yeah. - At the--
- Oh. - Yeah.
- So he said that to me as well.
He said, "Man, I knew it was Robbie
because she went to me."
- So I hope you're a traitor.
(dramatic music)
- He said it was like a,
"Yeah, you got me."
- Ah, okay. - Yeah, he did say that.
I know that-- - But it might be
a wink to say.
- Yeah, like up to you now. - Saying Sayonara.
- Yeah, up to you now.
Yeah, fully.
- See you traitor. - See you fellow traitor.
- Yeah. - Man.
- I think Dan could be a great traitor.
He's intelligent, he's sharp.
He laughs at my jokes.
To make someone like you, you know.
- Last night when we got Robbie right,
Dan leapt up off his seat
and I leapt off of my seat and we hugged.
And that felt genuine from Dan.
- Okay.
- He's just a very thoughtful, measured dude.
And it would be full respect to him if he is a traitor,
because no one's really brought his name up.
- Yeah. - Yay!
- Yes.
- [Dan] Seduction once more.
- [Sam] Shield?
- No. - Oh.
Robbie knows better.
- It was Robbie. - Twice.
- After the back of last night,
I'm definitely feeling more on the back foot.
And I've got to play more of a
defensive type strategy versus one of,
let's find the traitor.
- How are you guys feeling about last night?
- That woman could hatch.
- I know, eh. - That was so--
- Impressive though, I like-- - Oh yeah.
Oh my God, yeah, legend.
- Her and I had this you know,
oh I got your back,
you got my back thing going. - Yeah.
- I was like, oh.
But the whole time.
(Dan laughs)
But the whole time-- - She's looking at your back
to work out where to stick the knife.
(Colin laughs) - [Vanda] Yeah, yes.
- I'd be really foolish not to be worried.
I'll be spending a lot of today
running defence and thinking how I can
play, work, talk my way out of it.
- Did you ever pick her?
- [Dan] Any idea?
- [Kings] Oh, What the--
- What? - Oh wait.
- [Kings] Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.
- Am I early?
- [Kings] Wait.
- Rest assured I'm not here to clear the table.
(Kings gasps)
- They've been murdered.
These people are all gone,
it's just us.
- Right now, there are still four players
missing from breakfast.
Anna,
Brooke,
Dylan,
Julia.
One has been murdered,
(Justine gasps)
but which one?
You see the others have been selected
by the traitors and kidnapped.
(dramatic music)
- That's scary.
But also, I was a bit jealous.
While I'd been tied up before,
I'd never ever been kidnapped.
- Before you leap to any conclusions,
that doesn't mean that the traitors are all here,
or
all there, wherever there is.
(dramatic music)
- I keep thinking that it's a poker game, right?
(knocking) Oh no.
Oh no, there's never a dull day.
- Good evening. - Oh wow.
- Well done traitors.
Taking out one of your own
in a well executed act of skullduggery.
Now, tomorrow's mission,
we are upping the ante.
- Oh. - I'm abducting three players.
So at breakfast,
not one person will be missing,
but four.
Can open,
worms everywhere. (Brooke laughs)
- What? - Oh this is pretty good.
- [Brooke] Are you serious?
- I know you have a murder to commit tonight,
but you also have to decide
right now which three will be kidnapped.
(dramatic music)
- [Dan] This is a particularly important mission
because we have control.
- Mind blowing, oh my God.
Right, do we throw one of us in there is the first question?
- Definitely. - Okay,
so throw me in there.
Dan has a lot of work to do tomorrow,
he's just not getting involved enough
and not forming the alliances he needs to.
You'll be able to be able to defend yourself
during the day because you're gonna need to do that.
If we can get through this next little storm with Dan,
I think it's gonna be really hard for them to win.
Anna has clearly said to me, I think Dan is the guy.
- Okay, so why don't you take Anna with you.
- Yep.
- And Julia, yep.
- Me, Anna, Julia?
- Yeah.
- I like that.
- I will make arrangements.
- Oh boy.
- The two people that really
suspect that it's me are Anna and Julia.
We throw in Brooke,
Brooke can spend the day trying to clear
my name without making it too obvious.
- Those two out of the faithful tomorrow
is gonna mean that you are able to work the others.
- Okay.
- So, what does that mean for you all today?
You need to find your abducted comrades.
You will have one hour to do so.
And if you succeed,
how does an extra 8,000 dollars sound?
- Yes.
- You'll need to divide yourselves into two teams.
The first team to find your missing comrades
will win a trip to my armoury.
You are welcome to finish breakfast if you wish,
but your time starts now.
- I think we just divide. - Yeah,
down the middle. - Just
three and three. - Easy.
- Yeah. - Let's go find our friends.
- Run Vanda, run.
- I'm gonna run and get a gin and tonic.
- We have to go find our kidnapped friends.
We dunno where they are.
One might be murdered.
It's damn crazy, man.
- Oh guys look, there's a map.
- We did orienteering at school.
- I didn't, but I'm a good phone guy.
We're thrown in a car.
We get a map, a couple pens,
a pad and a cell phone,
and we're told good luck.
- Let's find our friends and not our murdered friend.
(dramatic music)
- Now, something that Paul Henry said
was that the traitors could be at the table
or they could have kidnapped themselves.
- Yeah, that's right, that's right.
- Keep in mind-- - We're not assuming that--
- Everyone that we're saving
is good. - Yeah.
(dramatic music) (clock ticking)
- So I'm thinking karma is a real thing.
I've got a hood over my head a blindfold on,
and I asked for this.
- [Contestant] That was brutal.
I'm completely disorientated.
I just know that I have to keep calm.
- I hear doors shutting and chains wrapping.
It's nerve wracking
because I know that I'm
being lead off to be murdered.
(dramatic sound)
(dramatic music)
- [Paul Henry] Early this morning,
three players were kidnapped from the lodge
and taken to this isolated location.
They don't know where they are,
who they're with,
and most importantly,
how to escape.
- Ah.
- What the?
My God.
- Oh my God.
There were chains, it's like freaking me out.
Hi, good morning.
- Good morning. (Anna laughs)
- [Anna] So it's a relief to see other people
and a phone with some coins
and some notepads in front of us.
- [Julia] We've gotta get focused.
We've gotta get into it.
- Okay.
(chime)
- Mmm.
You've been kidnapped.
- Oh. - And in order to be found,
you need to help your teammates out.
Around you, you'll see a list of questions.
You'll need to call your teammates
for the answers to those questions,
which will in turn unlock the
coordinates of your location.
If you can lead a team to your location within one hour,
they will win prize money for the pool.
And the successful team wins a trip to the armoury.
Your time starts now.
(chime) - Oh shit.
Okay, I wasn't really ready to be solving puzzles.
- Yeah.
- So are these the phone numbers
for each team? - So there's,
this must be, there's two teams.
- I see.
- Looking at the phone, I noticed there's
a slot there for the coins to go in.
So surely there must be a limited amount
of phone calls that we can make to get our freedom.
- Always good to have someone from law enforcement.
Seven, three, six, nine. - Seven, three, six, nine.
- What is the fourth letter of Julia's middle name?
On the wall, we all notice that there are a list of clues.
The first one is pretty easy, it's my middle name, Margaret.
And the first clue is G.
- [Vanda] How are we feeling about Julia?
- I'm fairly confident that Julia is faithful.
I think the person I trust most of all is probably Julia.
She talks like a cop and she sees things straight and--
- What I love with Julia is that she's
finding her feet in her place here.
And now we're getting to see Julia--
- In action. - Like,
her insights into the policing side of things.
- Isn't it brilliant?
Yeah, and we haven't really been using it.
She believes that Dan and Kings are traitors.
And I think it's worth pursuing it
because it does add up.
- I have to say I'm pretty happy that we are
the hunters and not the--
- Yeah me too. - Actually--
- And not the kidnappered.
Strategy for today with the remaining players
that I'm gonna be interacting with is,
act like nothing really happened.
- I'm imagining Dylan standing weirdly under a big tree.
(Justine laughs)
- If I focus around the Robbie thing too much,
it's too obvious that I'm defending myself.
I don't have any reason to defend myself
because I'm 100 percent faithful.
That is the mindset,
that is the strategy for today.
- [Julia] So should we strategically start working through--
- I'm assuming we have to talk to them, right?
We have to-- - Yeah--
- We have to talk to them. - We'll talk to them
on the phone. Perhaps we go with that,
that could be a clue.
The G straightaway. - The G, yeah.
And we need to give them the coordinates
because all of that will make a coordinate.
- I think this is probably important
to give on the get go too.
- [Anna] Yeah, seven, three, six, nine.
Okay, so we'll call one first, right?
- [Julia] Yeah.
- [Dan] And then, yeah literally.
(phone chimes)
- Oh, here we go.
- Oh my God, it works.
Hello? - Hold up, hold up,
hold up, hold up, hold up.
- Is that Kings?
- Hello. - Oh, hey Kings.
We've been kidnapped and we have to
ask you questions to give you the things.
What's your star sign?
- My star sign is Leo.
- [Anna] Leo?
- [Kings] Yes.
- [Brooke] Okay, so three letters in Leo, times by three.
That's nine,
that's nine.
- And how tall is Colin?
- How tall is Colin?
- Probably about-- - Yeah.
- 109. - Is he with you?
- No. - No.
- Okay, if he's not with you,
have you got Sam with you?
- No.
- Okay, oh it's just,
does the number 7369 mean anything to anyone?
- I can't hear.
(beeping)
Aw fuck. - 7369.
- It's cut out from them.
- Oh shit. - Oh, we've run outta money.
- Oh, oh right okay.
The line would go dead, you wouldn't hear anything.
We only had a certain amount of coins
that we could actually use.
We didn't get them G, dude.
- Oh, we were supposed to give them G.
- [Anna] But what does, does that matter?
- [Brooke] Best thing that we can do now
is help the teams get the map coordinates.
(phone chiming)
- Oh, is that this?
- That's them. - Hello?
- Hi Sam, it's Anna.
We've been kidnapped.
- Oh, hello.
Hello-- - Anna,
that's Anna.
- What colour was your childhood toy Zugaballantyne Sam?
- What, it was blue. - Blue, it was blue.
- Shout out Zugaballantyne.
I've had that for 37 years.
- How tall is Colin?
We need in centimetres,
how tall in centimetres?
- [Sam] 181 or two.
- [Anna] 182.
- [Brooke] One plus eight,
plus two, minus two.
Hey, start again.
- Does the number 736--
(beeping)
- Did the some,
you said did the number 736.
- They're gone.
- [Brooke] Well, here are the clues that we have so far.
- [Anna] Yeah.
- We have a G, we have a nine,
a B and another nine.
As someone that's really old,
before they had maps-- - No, no, we had,
Before they had maps,
before that map.
- I can tell you there's-- - It's the side.
- There's a letter and a number.
- Yeah, there is. - G nine, G nine.
- [Anna] I remember it too, okay.
Let's call these guys. - Okay let's call these guys
and give them G nine, B nine.
- Yeah, thank God for that.
- Yo, hi Kings.
We've got G nine, B nine if that means anything.
And the-- - G nine. B nine.
- Yeah and then, what are you using to find us?
- All we have is a map.
On our map, the map is of the North Auckland area
with only main roads. - Pages,
do you have pages of the map?
What, is there any numbers?
There's letters running down the side of maps usually.
And then there's numbers that run across the top.
And usually that means-- - Yeah, no.
They don't match,
they don't match. - They don't match?
- No. - They don't match.
- [Dan] No.
(beeping)
- Oh my god.
- Bro, this is starting to get real frustrating.
Every time we talk,
she gets about 10 seconds and then it's gone again.
- That was Anna and Brooke talking.
So we know, we know who's dead, 50-50.
- Yeah, yeah.
- [Colin] That's what you say to them.
There's a map that we have--
(phone chimes) - Yeah cool, here it goes.
- Hey, we've got a map
and the map has a grid on it.
On one side it goes from 79 through to 100,
through to 119.
And then down the other side
it's be to B-E to B-D.
- And then B-E to B-D on the grid?
(beeping)
- Bad time.
- So we got that.
We got that information, so hopefully that's enough.
- [Brooke] Well if they're saying two numbers,
then our 99 fits in between those numbers.
- [Anna] Yep, it does.
- [Brooke] And if they're saying BG, 99 BG.
I think that's it guys.
- [Anna] 99 BG?
- Yeah, yeah. - Nice work guys.
- Wow, Brooke.
- [Brooke] Fingers crossed.
(phone chimes) - Okay, here we go.
- Come on, come on.
- This is hard.
- Hey. - BG 99 on the map,
where does that pinpoint you to?
Does it point you to somewhere?
- It points us to Lee Road.
Yep. - To Lee Road.
- That's good. - That's quite a long way.
That's good he said, that's good.
- [Dan] My team, Justine and Kings.
I think I have a really good amount of trust there.
- They've cut us out,
let's call the other team to tell them.
Hi
BG
99 on the map.
- BG 99.
- Bro. - Good work.
- It would've been more beneficial for me
to have been in a car with other players
that I could try to move towards trusting me more.
- Can I just point out, Dan has won every shield challenge.
- I know. - And not won one shield.
- I've had my eye on Dan all the time.
Smiling, Assassin.
He'd make a magnificent, brilliant traitor.
- I think,
we should potentially target him over Kings.
(dramatic music)
(no audio)
(upbeat music)
- [Paul Henry] Both teams have now received
their final coordinates.
These coordinates will lead them to the location
where three of their missing comrades are being held.
The fourth has been mercilessly murdered overnight.
But just who that is, the players are yet to discover.
- This is worrying me,
but maybe this is something for
when we get,
when they get here. - Is it, what about--
- Like a code?
- 7369 - A code.
There might be a lock.
There was chains, there was chains when we got in here.
- That's exactly right. - Yes, it's chains.
- What's that, Birdsville road?
I think that's it.
- Oh, what are these guys doing?
Birdsville Road. - No, Birdsville.
(Colin gasps)
Wait, sorry.
Am I getting distracted?
Birdsville is there.
- Were we supposed to take that road?
- I don't know.
- But we're in the grid, right?
We're in the box?
- No, now we're going out of the box.
- We are out the box? - Oh are we?
- Yeah, we're going out.
Yeah, let's go back bros.
This is too far.
- So that's, fuck it is us.
(Vanda laughs)
- Make a U-turn,
and as we make the U-turn,
the other team is crossing.
We actually cross each other.
- Okay, don't talk to them.
- Yeah.
Just keep going.
- See you later.
(Colin and Vanda laugh)
- Bastards.
(Dan laughs)
- I said back up and then to the right, bro.
- I'm sure they know they have an hour.
An hour, let's not a waste of call
because they could get here.
Actually let's-- - And there could be
a puzzle to solve. - And there could be
way more to do.
- [Julia] Yeah.
- Here, that's right.
That's where I was thinking.
Okay. - You fucking (indistinct).
- Wait, what,
what's the name of that wharf?
- Just go. - So it'll be out the left
as we drive past.
You'll see that there's a boat shed.
(Julia gasps) - Cars.
Cars, cars, cars, cars, cars, cars.
- There's a building. - Yeah right there.
- [Kings] The boat sheds.
Go, go, go.
Ugh.
- Damn it.
- Guys. - Guys we're in here.
- [Brooke] We're in here.
Yes, yes, yes.
Come here.
- [Anna] What?
- Chain 7369, that's the code for the chain probably.
- Ah, that's it.
Yep we have it. - Ah.
- Hey!
(group cheers)
- I was so relieved to see those doors open
and have the sun shining through
and happy faces so stoked to see us.
- I'm feeling pretty good about myself.
I've definitely helped contribute to
8,000 dollars coming our way.
And that takes a total over
35,000 dollars in silver.
- But it was awesome, here we go.
- Hey guys, the other team are here and have rescued us.
You're meant to turn around and
go straight back to the lodge.
- Suck it. - Sorry, oh.
- Okay, we'll go back to the lodge.
We'll see you there. - Okay,
See you guys there. - Bye-Bye.
- [Anna] Bye-bye.
- Guys, That means Dylan was murdered.
This means that Dylan-- - Yeah, we were just
wondering that because who's in the cars?
- Dylan's not with you guys? - Dylan's not with us.
- Oh wow.
(dramatic music)
- Dylan brought my name up
as suspicious in a conversation with you.
- Yeah and every time he looks at me
I can tell he is looking at me with like,
like lazer focus.
- So the first person that I'm sure noticed
the Robbie death stare and possibly the wink,
is Dylan.
He's now put me to the top of his list,
he has to be murdered.
We take out the brains.
Dylan, let's go.
- Honestly, I believe he's gonna get us eventually
if we keep him. - I totally agree.
- Yeah.
Big brain Dylan had to go.
So sorry mate, but you're just too smart.
(dramatic music concludes)
(gentle music)
- Dear Dylan,
You have hereby been murdered.
Yours faithfully, The Traitors.
Traitors if you're watching this,
I would've rather joined you
than been murdered by you.
That's a bit late.
(gentle music)
- Think we should take a moment.
RIP Dylan, you know? - Yeah, Dylan.
- Yeah, it's a massive loss.
I reckon he was warming up more and more into it.
He was getting better
and better, right? - He was so,
like yesterday you could just see him thinking, right?
- [Justine] Yeah.
- Dylan to me was like our intelligence.
He was like the most analytical in the whole game.
- Poor guy.
- So, the game's gonna be
a lot harder without him I think.
- I'm tired. - Yeah but what was the chat
you had this morning at breakfast.
Did we miss anything?
- (indistinct). - I recon,
Vanda still for me.
- Hey.
- Do any of you guys think
you've got to know her well?
- No. - No.
- I don't know. - No.
- You know.
- I've tried with her too, like chick to chick.
I just get nothing back. - Yeah.
- I'm fairly sure Justine trusts me and I trust her.
Kings feels vulnerable
that he's also on the block.
So he's on board with the more of us
that just stick with the same person.
- Because my radar's been off her for ages.
But why?
- Why?
- Why, I mean I don't have any reason to
have not had her on my radar.
- We had, we got hit with the
crocodile tears with Vanda on, was it day one?
- Yeah.
I'm almost definitely sure you're a faithful now.
- [Julia] Aw.
- So the tears,
we kind of all laid off her.
- We did, eh?
- Similar with Robbie.
- Same thing. - The same with Robbie.
- Do you guys think Vanda
is a waste of a,
of something at the table?
- Not if she's a traitor.
(group laughs)
- Brooke is doing a good enough job
keeping Vanda's name in conversation.
- Good point, Justine.
- But I don't think he's got a huge influence.
Not over Anna,
not over Julia,
definitely not over Colin.
- Car's coming.
- [Dan] And those are the only three people.
I don't believe that I have truly won their trust.
- There's the lot eh? - No matter how grumpy
they are, they'll be happy you guys got 8,000 dollars.
- Who's alive, who's alive, who's alive?
- No, no, no, there's happy.
- No, no, (indistinct), turn around.
- Who is it, it's Brooke.
- Oh man.
Dylan-- - Dylan's gone,
Dylan's not here.
- [Vanda] Oh my God.
- I think that whenever someone is murdered,
it's a mix of
tragedy and shock.
We've gotta discover why a traitor
would pick Dylan.
- Blindfold. - Bad at all,
(indistinct) to us.
There's no hard evidence on one person at the moment.
Still doubts about Kings,
but also questions about Dan.
He's been very quiet, reserved,
but we recognise that he is an observer.
That's his nature, he's super smart, very astute.
- Someone said that they saw Robbie giving him like
burning laser beams through his body
all last night when he put her name down.
He said that.
- He said that?
- And then there was the wink at the end.
- Who winked at, sorry?
- [Brooke] Dan said that Robbie winked at him.
- [Colin] Yeah.
- I feel so hot on Dan right now.
You don't do that if you're a faithful.
- Yeah. - You don't go.
- [Colin] At the person.
- I think it's a good move to take him out now
because he knows that I'm onto him and he's gonna crack.
- So what are your thoughts?
I know you're very close with Dan.
He is one of your best friends.
- If we get it wrong, you're actually losing a,
you're talking about a guy--
- Very true. - That's won every mission.
He's a great leader, he's a lovely person,
all of those things.
He's a good thinker.
So we need to make sure we got it right.
It is very dangerous for me to be leading
that redirection of intention.
But the problem is that I'm not gonna double cross Dan.
- Dan is very articulate.
- Yeah. - You know,
and so we have to like think--
- Watch that.
- You know,
through the poetry of his words.
- Well he could probably talk his way out of anything.
- Yeah. - Yeah.
- I don't think the traitors has ever seen
a team as good as Dan and I.
So hopefully fingers crossed,
we can dispel this kind of rumour pretty quickly.
- [Paul Henry] The winners of today's mission
have been given permission to access my armoury
in the hope of unveiling the coveted shield.
The lucky player who discovers the shield
will be protected from murder tonight.
(gentle music)
- Good Teamwork. - Good work, good work,
good work. - We're a really
good team together, I thought.
- Finally I get to go into the armoury.
I'm a part of the cool club now.
It would be cool to have the shield
so I can actually have like a decent sleep,
but I could still be banished so.
it's a 50-50.
We still have the plan for the Vanda things.
- Yes we do. - Yeah,
We just stick to that complete,
unless
we communicate otherwise. - Unless something
outrageous happens.
- My number one suspect for tonight is Vanda.
There's no real reason other than,
she cried one time.
So I'm just throwing my pin out in the air at this point.
All right, see you guys soon.
- Good luck. - Good luck.
(dramatic music)
- Ah, okay.
Hmm.
So we've all agreed myself,
Justine, and Dan,
that we aren't gonna share
who gets a shield.
Eeny, Meeny, Miny, Moe.
- I am trying really hard to stay calm and collected,
and I really wanna win that shield.
- I didn't get it,
so it's outta Dan and Justine.
- This is my fourth trip to the Armoury.
(Dan laughs)
- And for the first time, I actually pick up the shield.
- No (indistinct).
I don't have the shield,
but no one knows that.
So I think I'll sleep pretty good tonight.
- Getting the shield,
that's such a huge advantage as a traitor.
But at the moment I think it is really important
that I shift the focus to tonight's round table.
I'm trying to count off the people
that I feel confident will vote for me
versus the ones that could be swayed to
move the vote to Vanda.
I reckon you've kind of got the best,
next best knowledge on the actual game.
- Yeah.
- Sam. - I don't know about that.
- Once again, Sam has no idea who he is voting for.
So it's really crucial at this point
that we get Sam on our side.
- If I'm a traitor,
I will give everyone here 50,000 dollars.
- So we have to sell them the idea
of voting for Vanda without overselling it
to make him suspicious.
- [Sam] Do you guys have any thoughts?
- [Kings] Sure, we got to briefly speak on Vanda.
- [Sam] Yeah?
- At the moment Vanda's our best guess.
And,
that's it, that's all we got.
- The goal in the game if you are a traitor, is to lie
and to cause some confusion.
- This game is hard and it hurts my brain.
- Yeah. - Yeah.
- That's what Dan and I are trying to do.
Right, so do you think there'll be tears tonight?
- From who?
- If we went Vanda,
I think she would. - Ah, yeah.
- I think-- - Vanda's at which,
one, two or three? - One, three probably.
- She's a three?
- She's a three for me as Well.
- Yeah so and then
Kings and Dan. - Yeah,
yeah. - Yeah.
- I don't trust Colin, but I've gotta get Julia on side
because we need this group to suddenly be in disarray again.
- He's too smart, you gotta cut him off.
- What about this then,
tonight we hit all three of them up,
and then we go from there.
I feel like as long as we don't split the vote too much,
we're gonna get rid of one of them.
And we're gonna get a sense of where they actually rank.
- I know tonight is gonna be a tight vote
between Vanda and Dan.
Strategically I can actually play both.
So I've got a lot of really big decisions
to make for tonight's round table.
- [Dan] I am not 100 percent confident
that I'll get through tonight's round table.
It is really important that I defend myself early,
proclaim my faithfulness,
and let them decide.
- This could be my last time sitting in this space.
Everyone on this table has to make a decision.
God, I hope we get it right.
- So here we are again.
Well done on today's mission,
you did make 8,000 dollars.
The total now,
37,100.
But have you actually imagined yourself winning this game?
It's late in the game to be making decisions
based on personal relationships.
It's late in the game to be wallowing
in self-congratulation.
It's time to bear your souls.
Who would like to begin?
(dramatic music)
(dramatic music)
It is time to bear your souls.
It's time to eviscerate the competition.
Who would like to begin?
- There are two names I'm tossing up between.
I know it's a bad reason
that the people would make a great traitor,
but Vanda, I'm just,
because you are quite quiet and hard to read,
your name has come up again.
So have you got anything?
- Well, I'll start by categorically saying I'm faithful
and
I'm surprised.
I do put my head above the parapet a little bit
and I have made some calls,
some of which I highly regret, like Fili.
When the heat is on and the pressure is on you,
it is really hard to defend yourself.
You're damned if you do and you're damned if you don't.
- There's a big dent for me.
And also in my head, you'd be the perfect
person to seduce.
- See, I see me as the unperfect person to seduce
because I wear my heart on my sleeve
and I just don't think I could carry it to be frank.
(dramatic music)
- Well yeah, well let's just move it forward.
You know the other name that came up Dan, was yours.
Which is really tough after our cool day together today.
- Yeah, I totally-- - But,
it's just the old, you'd make a great traitor,
which is really flimsy.
- I mean I think it's more than that.
You guys have mentioned, I mean,
the Robbie thing or whatever.
Did anyone see her wink at me yesterday?
- I didn't see her wink at you, I saw her stare at you.
- I think Dylan May have seen it, but he is not here.
And so, it's a little hard to defend.
When I put her name down and she just kinda looked at me,
and winked at me.
I thought it meant that she was telling me
straight away that she was one.
And she didn't feel bad that we had had this pact.
- [Justine] Yeah.
- There's no flies on Robbie.
She did that to take him down
because he voted for her.
- Some of you know that Robbie and I
formed a bit of an alliance.
Like we kind of got closer.
I think I was probably the only person
who went to her after she got attacked.
Because I could see,
like, I thought if that was me,
that would suck.
Her and I had this,
you know, you've got my back, I've got your back.
- Robbie was kind of like the most overt
traitor that we had come across.
It was almost like, is this like for real?
And I wonder when she did wink at you,
if that was like she did a Robbie.
- I mean.
- It's strange for you to bring it up if it's like,
it's such an unbelievable like.
- Yeah, I'm not gonna make up
that she winked at me if I think
that's what you would've thought.
You know, like-- - Yeah, well,
I don't know.
- I am so worried because I don't want Dan to go right now,
but I can see that he's really struggling.
Come on Dan.
- It's so hard for me,
especially knowing how close we are outside of this game.
You're probably the person,
one of the people I trust the most in the world.
I agree that
there's 37,000 up there.
There's another 30,000 dollars
over the next couple of days
that are gonna be in big challenges
and we want strong people in those missions.
- You guys you know,
vote for me, you'll be losing,
you know, a really strong player
who's helping complete these missions.
I can categorically say I'm 100 percent faithful.
I was really surprised when my name came up.
I was like, you know and then
you mentioned to me that you know the wrong--
- Enough talking.
- Oh my gosh.
- It's time to vote.
Who would you like to banish from the game forever?
Please write one name on your slate.
(dramatic music)
Has everyone locked in their vote?
It's time to reveal who you've decided
to banish from the game forever.
Justine, would you please like to reveal
the name of the person you've chosen and tell us why?
- Okay, I came in here tonight
quite torn between two people.
Vanda, I'm just stuck on you babes, I'm so sorry.
I just can't get a read on you
and that's why I'm voting you tonight.
- [Paul Henry] Dan.
- Vanda, I've also voted for you
for the factual reasons that I stated before,
but also as it is the best defence for me today
given that I'm on the block.
Respectfully.
- So two votes in a row for you Vanda.
Anna.
- Dan, I vote for you today.
I
noticed a lot of, yeah,
staring between you and Robbie as you sat at the table,
and it could be just because you were friends.
Or it could be a Robbie-ism.
- I don't know.
- [Paul Henry] Brooke.
- Dan, you and I have a tight group of friends,
that said,
we are nearing the end game here
and there's a lot of money to be won.
I think it's better the devil I know.
It is not to say you're not on notice.
- So three votes for you Vanda,
and one vote for you Dan.
Sam, who have you voted for and why?
- I'm sorry Dan, I love you a lot.
- [Paul Henry] So that's three votes for Vanda,
two votes for Dan.
Kings.
- I can't help but feel like I might've made a mistake,
you know.
I put you down Vanda but,
I got a weird feeling I screwed up.
- [Paul Henry] It's a two horse race.
Four votes for Vanda,
two votes for Dan.
Vanda.
- So there's a saying that goes
where there is smoke, there is fire.
So I voted for Dan.
- [Paul Henry] Colin, who have you voted for and why?
- My honest directive was
the loss of Dylan who's a very intelligent player.
And the only reason a traitor
would take out someone so intelligent
is because they are also formidably intelligent.
Dan.
- And so Julia,
with four votes for Dan
and four votes for Vanda.
Would you like to reveal who you voted for and why?
(dramatic music)
(dramatic music)
And so Julia,
with four votes for Dan
and four votes for Vanda.
Would you like to reveal who you voted for and why?
- Dude, it sucks being last.
Robbie made some very overt mistakes.
Many, many, many helped them
and all I've got Dan
is the wink.
I'm really sorry,
I've voted for you.
- All the votes are in.
Dan, you have received the most votes.
You are banished from the game forever.
Please come and join me.
Dan before you leave the game for good,
would you like to tell us
whether you are a faithful or a traitor?
- Everything I've shared with you guys has been true.
We've had really good chats.
Everything you know about me is true.
I guess a couple things you dunno about me
is that I'm a really experienced actor
and I'm one of the best poker players in New Zealand.
And I'm a Traitor.
(group cheers)
- [Julia] Yes!
- Oh, thank God. - Knew it.
- Dan, Dan, Dan, and he is a traitor.
He's really intelligent.
So I think it's good to have got him now.
- [Paul Henry] You dodged a bullet tonight Vanda.
- I feel like I've been through the ringer.
- Two banishments in a row.
It seems to me you faithfuls have the traitors on the run.
- Yes.
- How many remain in their blood thirsty coterie?
And how deadly will be their revenge?
Night-night.
- Congratulations.
Congratulations team.
Seeing Dan go was a bit of a shock
because like I didn't peg him.
It probably makes me and
Justine look pretty bad.
As well as Brooke.
- He's the head of the snake man,
he's the head of the snake.
- Brooke also put Vanda's name down.
- He's the planner, the leader,
always has been, always will be.
So that's, yeah.
- Shoot man we've got
Dylan and Dan in one day is like--
- It's right, the average IQ just plummeted.
(Brooke laughs)
- I can't, but you know what, a stroke.
They took out our intelligence, we took their masks.
- That's exactly right.
Oh man, that is so amazing.
Looking around the room
and there's like all of these faces,
I suddenly realised I'm like the sole traitor
there to take down the faithful.
Yeah.
If I could leave--
- [Sam] It is really luck.
- I would just gap it outta here in a second.
It's really hard.
It's awful.
(dramatic music)
Bloody hell.
- Hello Brooke.
- I know that if he's up that late at night,
there must be real trouble.
- You are the last man standing
and it's lonely at the top.
To me, it's also an untenable position.
So tonight, Brooke,
you must blackmail another player to join you.
If they choose not to accept your offer,
the alternative is their murder.
You'll need to write their name
on that parchment.
Tonight, there will be blood on the floor.
Because if they accept your offer,
they will join you, and together you will commit a murder.
- I do need some help.
Okay,
right.
But I just have no idea who it's gonna be.
I think everyone wants to see
Colin Mathura-Jeffree as a traitor
at least for one day.
Justine is so good,
she's kind of on the fence between
sitting back and being involved and super intelligent.
And Kings,
I think he gets served up tomorrow,
meaning that I get one step closer
to that final day and the 70,000 dollars.
So it's either Colin,
Justine,
or Kings.
- Write the name on the parchment.
- I'm about to write down Kings's name
when I decide
this game is
all about curiosity, killing the cat.
- They will join you shortly.
- And I was just too curious about what it would be like
to be in a traitorous duo
with Colin Mathura-Jeffree.
(dramatic music)
- Dear Collin, your presence is
required at a secret meeting.
Please make your way to the conclave immediately.
(dramatic music)
- Welcome to my conclave Colin Mathura-Jeffree.
(Brooke laughs)
- I knew it.
- That's why you were here now.
Time for celebration is over.
Yes, you're so smart.
You've got a very big decision to make.
Join me and this conclave or die.
- My entire life.
People have said if there's trouble, I'm amongst it.
And I rolled into Faithful and really enjoyed that position
and I thought this is fun and mysterious.
Oh please, of course I'm joining you.
(Brooke laughs) - Perfect, perfect, perfect.
I'm hoping you like Forest Green.
- The game has gone up a level.
I'm the traitor.
Even Brooke doesn't know what's hit him.
- [Paul Henry] Next time.
- Tonight my friend, I'm gonna vote for you.
- [Paul Henry] It's every player for themselves.
- [Colin] I'm just going to allow Brooke.
- I mean, I wanted to eat some breakfast
before we got into this.
- What? - To dig his own hole.
- [Paul Henry] As the game gets personal.
- You said something that is crazy.
- [Julia] Yeah.
- You said that you bet on your children's life
that you are a faithful.
- [Paul Henry] And no one is safe.
- This was a change in your character tonight.
Looked like you've come to war.
