have arrived at this isolated lodge

to play the game of a lifetime,

with the ultimate aim of winning up to $70,000.

Hidden amongst them, though, are the traitors,

who will each night secretly murder their fellow players

eliminating them from the game.

It's up to the surviving players

to work out who the traitors are.

- I really trust that guy.

- I'm not making this up.

- [Paul] And banish them.

(contestants screaming)

- [Paul] Because if a traitor remains undetected,

they take home all the money.

because I don't think I'm gonna get another opportunity.

- [Paul] A new traitor emerged.

- We think someone's been seduced.

- [Paul] And quickly spun a web of deceit.

like ten people against someone that's really likeable.

I'm trying to slow it down a bit,

just to see if it's stoppable.

- [Paul] As a bitter feud between Faithfuls-

- I heard something that led me to you, Robbie.

- [Paul] And the faithful banished another traitor.

no such words came close to exiting her mouth.

That got me close to writing Fili's name

on the board last night. - Yeah.

It was the only time

we've seen someone accuse someone of something

that they straight-up deny.

There was just something I wasn't landing on

that felt comfortable with me.

I have felt like it's been a bit of a beat up on me.

If you guys are thinking that we're gonna play a game here

and we're gonna try to democratically sort out

who wins each of the missions' armouries. You're crazy.

- I felt like Brooke really shit the bed on that. Eh?

He just didn't go with the plan that everyone had agreed to.

- Well, thank God for that. Supplies were really dwindling.

- So that it was automatically forgotten was a bit shit.

He was trying to be like, "Oh, did I agree?"

- Sam. A hundred percent.

- Before, Brooke was clearly a faithful,

but now that, that sort of changes, it's one

of those weird things that he's done

that now makes me feel strange about

him.

That's why they're not here.

- Oh. (laughs) - Five others.

- So Anna, Fili, Dan, Colin, Brooke were the five

that crossed the line first.

We could have had a sixth person in there as well. Which-

- I think it's evident that people are

like playing for themselves.

I'm worried that I could be murdered by the traitors.

So I wanna have that level of protection

and I need the shield so I can sleep peacefully tonight.

I really wanted that.

There's nothing in there.

- Yeah. Fili's probably feeling nervous as well. Yeah.

- I was a little bit selfish in today's mission

and I feel like I'm gonna have a big X on my back tonight.

- Round table's gonna be coming up very, very shortly-

- and today's probably confused matters more than anything

- I think we have to honestly this, we have

to stick together, no matter. I think it's important for us.

- It's now separated us into a group

of five and a group of seven.

So we now have the numerical advantage over those people

who we feel a little bit cheated by.

(string music builds)

- We've really lost a lot of cohesion in the group.

I couldn't help but notice some disenchantment

amongst your number at today's mission.

The problem with preconceived plans

is preconceived expectation.

And when you add human nature into the mix,

things can quickly go awry.

But perhaps, players, you saw things differently to me,

the floor is yours.

You know, well done. This was hard.

And we really collectively joined together,

used our strengths and our intelligence to team up.

And I saw lots of compassion for each other.

I was impressed. So congratulations.

- Let's be honest though. It was a bit

of a hot mess at the end.

There was a lot of shouting, a lot of accusations,

a lot of people thought they hadn't been heard.

A lot of people had different plans.

I don't think any mission is a huge success if there's heaps

of shouting and anger and disappointment at the end of it.

- And I've taken, I've said I wanna take the heat for it.

Even the sense that when Fili

and Anna were approaching the line, I said, go for it.

I wanna apologise.

I really wish there were ways that

I knew we were all safe tonight.

Especially Sam and Kings

and everyone that slogged their guts out there.

- I get that it's an advantage going to the armoury.

Some of you got it, some of us didn't.

But I think there's a sense

of unfairness if we feel we've agreed to do it one way.

And even though you feel you didn't

agree to do that as-

- I, yeah, I've I've taken that.

I just think there's something

ugly about the way it was done.

because Paul said we took full

advantage of the challenge and we did.

We got all $5,000, but what we didn't get was all six-

what happened there because you crossed the line twice

and there was an opportunity for someone else to have

a slot to the armoury.

And you've said you got confused by the rules

- Were caught up in the heat of the moment.

- Yeah. So, you know, even crossing the line

with the first barrel was like a confusion.

- And, but the second one was like that,

that was like a no brainer.

And I was just in the heat of the game.

I saw Colin nearest person there and I saw another 750

and all I wanted to do was get

as many buckets over the line as possible.

I looked selfish, you know, going over twice.

But, you know, what was the-

- And I think anyone that saw Fili on the day would know

that, that his motivation was just, how do I get

as much across the line?

- Well, all of our motivations, that's the thing.

Come on. The majority of noise seems

to be coming out of Brooke.

I think you're a master communicator. Communicate.

There's a pattern to make us miscommunication

and to confuse us.

- Again, I'll go back to the, the fact that, you know,

Fili crossed the line twice and there's a part of me

that's like, it is in the traitors interests

to have fewer people in play potentially holding the shield.

And the thing that happened at the round table last night,

which was wild and unexpected,

that almost had me writing your name down last night.

Those two things are weighing on me as I sit here now.

- Do you remember what you said to me when we went over the

line and you went, we went back?

- Well, today was a, an interesting day

because we were in a very

competitive environment.

The only thing that caught me was the double armoury.

but you took that opportunity away from lots

of people that deserved that.

And whether or not that was a slip up,

- This person does act really different during the day

as they speculate on the fate of the remaining faithfuls.

And as the game kind of progresses,

we can move in different ways

- It was a hard day, but it didn't work out bad for us.

People were pissed off with me and it started coming my way.

- But they, it fit perfectly within your character

and persona and your inability to kind of, you know,

manage the chat.

This needs to be something creative,
