[Fernanda] I'm heading back to my shelter.
God.
Oh, my God.
No!
What the [bleep] happened?
[groans]
[bleep]
I'm [bleep] homeless.
No!
I'm just not sure anybody can survive here for 21 days.
-Oh, my gosh. -[yells]
[narrator] Two strangers.
-[yells] Run. Go, go, go. -Oh, God.
[narrator] No food.
-[groans] -[grunts]
[narrator] No water.
[yells]
[narrator] Twenty one days.
-Don't tap. -[man roars]
Die first.
[narrator] Naked and Afraid.
I am anxious.
This is definitely a dense forest.
It's humid and it's cold.
It doesn't look like home at all.
I come from the Sonoran Desert.
I'm used to really wide open areas, cacti.
I am a marine biologist
and one of the few women in Latin America
that practiced survivalism and bush craft skills.
I hiked the Sonoran Desert by myself.
I'm comfortable in nature.
This is not my first challenge on Naked and Afraid.
Three years ago, I survived for 21 days in the Colombian jungle.
Yay. In Supervencia Al Desnudo which is aked and Afraid the Latin American version
[speaking Spanish]
[Fernanda] My partner, he tapped out on day eight.
[man speaking]
[Fernanda] And I was alone for the first of the challenge.
[speaking Spanish]
This time, I just want a partner that can handle this very hard environment.
The only thing that I need to prove here
is that it doesn't matter where I am from.
I can survive here for 21 days.
I don't think this is going to be hard both mentally and physically.
And I'm excited to see how much weight I'm going to be losing
for the next 21 days.
My name is Iver. I'm from Meraker, Norway.
As one of the last true Vikings,
I've been battling this cold Norwegian environment all my life.
I'm a hunter. laughs]
Fisherman.
On top of that, I'm a kickboxer.
I feel like I owe it to myself to prove that I am the badass I think I am,
and also the badass that other people think I am.
Whoo!
[thunder rumbling]
Oh, [bleep].
It looks like this is it.
[narrator] As Iver prepares to enter the American wild for the first time,
he earns a primitive survival rating or PSR of 6.4 out of 10.
Time to go. Whoo hoo!
This is my stop.
[narrator] Based on her previous 21-day challenge in Colombia,
Fernanda begins this challenge with a PSR of 7.2
[Fernanda] This is really happening again.
Let's go.
-Hey. -[Fernanda] Hey there, partner.
-Hi. -[Iver] How you doing?
-What's your name? -Iver. Nice to meet you.
-Hi, I'm Fernanda -Fernanda.
-Yeah, I'm from Mexico. -Oh, cool.
-Where are you from? -Norway.
-Norway. I got a Viking. That's awesome. -Yeah.
-[chuckles] -You're safe. You're safe. Don't worry.
This is your first challenge?
No, actually, I already had another challenge
-in Colombia three years ago. -Oh, you did?
I survived for 21 days with a partner who tapped out.
-Oh, [bleep]. -Yeah.
[Iver] Well, my original Viking blood doesn't quit.
[Fernanda] I'm happy that I got a Viking.
I'm not sure how experienced he is as a survivalist,
but he's from Norway which I guess is good.
Let's see how we get along.
-Is this your first time in the US? -It is. Exciting.
-Yep. Let's get our bags. -[Fernanda] Okay.
-Guess this is yours. -Thank you.
What did you bring?
-Okay, I brought a machete. -[Iver] Ooh.
I used this in my last challenge.
-It would definitely give us good luck. -Oh, you did.
Awesome. We're gonna need it.
I brought fishing gear.
-Awesome. Yeah. -Yeah, where we can catch some food, hopefully.
[narrator] In addition to their blade and fishing gear,
the survivalists have been given a pot and a fire starter.
[Fernanda] Okay. This is our map.
[Iver] See where we're headed.
We're here.
[Iver] Yeah. This gray area must be the rock wall.
Probably headed north for some water.
-But we've got to get across this beast first. -[Fernanda] Yeah.
So we have to go around because we don't have any rope.
[Iver] Yep.
[narrator] Rising more than 1,000 feet from the Ohio River Valley
in Southern Illinois,
the steep limestone cliffs of Shawnee Ridge
create a perilous maze of sharp, rocky inclines
infested with ticks, brown recluse spiders
and deadly timber rattlesnakes,
one of North America's most venomous pit vipers,
which can reach up to seven feet in length.
During the summer season, the dense surrounding forest
is covered in thorns and poison ivy
and patrolled by territorial black bears and rogue mountain lions.
Here, massive rainstorms strike quickly
and can last for days at a time,
sending temperatures plummeting
and threatening the area with dangerous flash floods.
So at the base of this cliff right here,
as you can see...
...very steep and we've got to head north, which is that way.
So we've got to head around, try to find some water,
build a shelter.
Let's go.
[Fernanda] There's a lot of thorns.
-I think we should go down there. -Mmm.
-It looks like much clearer. -Yeah, I think so, too.
Yeah. [grunts]
[Iver] Yeah, that's a lot of thorns.
[Fernanda] Ow, ow, ow, ow, ow.
Thorny bitches.
So what do you do in your day-to-day life back in Mexico?
Well, I am a marine biologist
-dedicated to sustainable fisheries and stuff. -[Iver] Okay.
-And what about you? -I'm a fisherman.
-Oh, you're a fisherman. -You know, we Norwegians, we pride ourselves
of being great fishermen.
-[Fernanda] Oh, that's great. It's gonna come very handy. -[Iver] Yeah.
[Fernanda] Does this look like anything that you have back there in Norway?
[Iver] The nature here is totally different.
What about Mexico?
[Fernanda] Well, I am from the Sonoran Desert.
So this is nothing like what I have back home.
I'm being careful not to step onto poison ivy,
but I guess that's going to be very difficult.
It's like everywhere.
[narrator] Poison ivy is an allergenic plant
native to Asia and North America
that contains the toxin urushiol which causes a painful rash when touched.
The vines can grow over 20 feet each season and live more than 50 years.
[Iver] We don't have poison ivy.
Okay. We do, but people call them mala mujer which means, like, evil woman.
-Oh, [bleep]. -[both laugh]
So me and my partner Fernanda we're communicating very good,
which needs to happen if this challenge is going to be all 21 days.
She's got the knowledge. She's got the grit.
I'm excited what's to come.
Yeah, we can walk up here, it looks like.
[Fernanda] Just, uh, let's watch out for any--
-[Iver] Mala mujer. -[both laughing]
[Iver exhales]
-[Fernanda sighs] It's just a big rock wall. -[Iver] Yeah.
-And behind that rock wall, there's our water source. -[Iver] Mmm-hmm.
[Fernanda] I don't know if we could walk like this through here. It's getting late.
We need to build a shelter, and it's the only way that I see.
[groans]
-Damn, these spiders are everywhere. -[Fernanda] Yeah.
-I think the best way would be to the left here. -[Fernanda] Okay.
We got to this labyrinth that we had to squeeze in.
And I'm worried that we're gonna get trapped in there.
The only way to get out of here is to push through them.
Okay.
There's water.
-Look at this. -[Fernanda] Oh, we have water.
-[Iver] Oh, yeah. -[Fernanda] Whoo!
-We got water. -[Iver] Look at this.
-[Fernanda] See this? Yeah. -Here we are.
[exhales]
-Let's get to surviving. -[Fernanda] Okay.
This looks like a good a place to make a shelter, I think.
-It's protected. -Yeah.
-We have running water here. -[Iver] Yeah.
-We do have some really straight trees. -[Iver] Mmm-hmm.
Yeah, I mean, this one and this one.
-It could be a lean to. -[Iver] Mmm-hmm.
-Sounds good. I'll get to chopping. -Okay.
[narrator] Using two trees for support,
Fernanda and Iver will fashion two logs
that extend diagonally to the ground
with branches placed over the beams horizontally
and covered in leaves to create a watertight roof.
This is heavy.
I really like this survival area.
As you can see, we have a pond.
And there's a creek going a couple... of few hundred meters down.
So the fishing opportunities are going to be very good.
And I just think that overall, we're gonna thrive in this place.
It is important to have a shelter here.
There.
Yeah, I think that works perfectly.
Because first of all, it might rain.
There's mountain lions,
and also because it's gonna get cold,
the temperature is gonna drop at dawn,
so we need to be protected.
Yeah, burn, burn, burn.
-[Iver] Awesome. Badass. -Yeah, we got fire.
[Iver] I feel like with the bed, we're going to sleep a lot better,
and it will keep the bugs that roams the ground from us.
-[Fernanda] Really simple cot, basically. -Yeah.
I think it's very nice to have a great partner that has your back.
Iver is adaptive.
He's supportive, and I believe that we're going to get to day 21.
-I'm gonna cut down some trees, okay? -[Iver] Yeah.
-[Fernanda] Oh. [bleep]. -What happened?
[Fernanda] Could you come?
-[Iver] You good? -No. No way.
[Iver] Oh, [bleep].
-Oh, [bleep]. -What happened?
[Fernanda] Could you come?
-You good? -No.
-No way. -[Iver] Oh, [bleep].
Right when I saw it, I knew it was a bad cut
'cause there was a lot of blood,
and it appears that she has cut like an inch under her tendon.
-What happened? -I was just cutting some branches,
and I hit it this way and it just slipped.
And it hit me right there.
[Katrina] Let's find you somewhere to sit.
Yeah, this is a pretty deep cut.
[Iver] I instantly get anxious because I know a cut like that
can definitely take you out of this challenge.
-I can put two or three stitches in it. -[Fernanda] mmm-hmm.
[Katrina] But I can't guarantee that it's not going to get infected.
[Iver] I'm definitely worried about Fernanda.
[exhales]
[Katrina] Okay. So those stitches are going to help you,
but you really have to help yourself and try to rest.
I don't want you bending that leg,
and I just need you to understand how serious this could be.
And that it could lead to an infection
that could be to a medical tapout.
-Do you understand that? -Yeah.
Okay.
-Good luck. Feel better. -Thank you.
-[Iver] How you doing? -I feel bad because I don't want
to do this to you, but I want to stay in.
You are gonna stay in this challenge.
So I'm gonna do a lot of things until you get better.
I'm gonna do everything in my power to make you see this through.
-Thank you so much. Thank you. -Yeah. Don't worry.
-So sorry to put you in this situation. -Don't be sorry.
We got each other, okay?
[Fernanda speaking]
So this is the bed for the night.
-I just hope no snakes. -[Fernanda] Yeah.
Yeah, we have a good fire.
I have a good partner.
We're gonna see this through until day 21.
[Fernanda] Yeah.
Uh...
I heard something just like go that way.
Uh, but it's just like... like something was walking by.
[Iver] Yep.
[bleep]
[Fernanda] Like something heavy.
-[Iver speaking] -[Fernanda speaking]
[Iver] What the [bleep] was that sound?
Mountain lion!
[bleep]
[Fernanda] Oh, [bleep]
[bleep]
[Iver] We should stick to the fire.
[Fernanda speaking]
[Iver speaking]
-How did you sleep? -Yeah, I must be honest.
I slept very little.
It's like still very conscious
-about what's going on. -[Iver] Our surroundings, the noises.
If you're going to stay here for 21 days, you need good sleep.
And there's mountain lions, which we might not see.
But it's a threat.
[Iver] I was thinking about maybe heading up the hill,
making... just taking a look.
-[Fernanda] Yeah. -See what I can find.
So I'm gonna explore the forest. See what I can gather.
There are spider webs everywhere.
So every five seconds, I'm eating a spiderweb.
Oh, that's interesting.
Ooh.
Oh, this is moss.
It's going to be great for bedding.
[Fernanda grunts]
I need to stand up.
I need to not bend my knee.
So I'm gonna need to make a splint.
I mean, I'm not useless.
I'm not just sitting down just like being lazy.
I don't like that feeling.
I'm gonna try to make some rope out of tree bark.
I do this to break the fibers and make it easier to use.
I'm just gonna grab this tree bark.
I split it in half.
Let's see if this works.
This is going to help me a lot.
[Iver] It's a little bit softer than the sticks I was sleeping on last night,
but I got to collect a lot of it for both me and my partner.
If I'm not able to get the right amount of sleep that I need,
I don't see myself finishing this, like, cognitively and mentally,
it's going to tear me down.
The goal is not to just survive but to thrive.
We're gonna sleep like angels tonight.
[thunder rumbling]
[Fernanda speaking]
[Iver speaking]
[Fernanda speaking]
[Iver speaking]
Yep, everything is so wet.
We do have a fire.
We just don't want to lose it.
Oh, [bleep].
Oh, man.
It's pouring down here. We're getting all wet.
I mean, our shelter is good, but not for this rain, I think.
Yeah, that's the priority.
We're gonna go back to our shelter and make it more waterproof.
Because the rain is gonna come every day,
and we got to be ready for that.
-[Iver] Looks like it's stopped raining. -Yeah.
[Iver] So, priorities for today.
-Shelter? -[Fernanda] Yeah.
-Start with the shelter and then try to fish later. -[Iver] Yep.
We've got to do what we can to reinforce the roof.
Maybe building, like, not a complete A frame,
-but maybe like a half one. -[Fernanda] Yeah.
My leg is still healing,
but if you want to survive, you need to adapt to change.
You need to have your best attitude
and just make it work with what you have.
[Iver] Really starting to feel the effects of not having a proper meal.
Starting to feel hungry and a little bit dehydrated. Dry mouth.
Yesterday, I have a little bit of a headache.
I definitely feel like I'm losing a lot of weight day by day,
and I've been working as hard as a Viking.
I've been busting my nuts out there, like, really working my ass off.
And I have to pick up for Fernanda.
We want it to go like this.
The more inclination it has, the more water repellant it is going to be.
-[Iver] Yeah. -We don't want to get wet again the whole night.
So what we're gonna do, we're just gonna make
another part of the roof with a little inclination so that the water might slide.
And we get much more coverage.
[narrator] To complete their A-frame shelter, Fernanda and Iver
have extended the roof in front of their lean to
in order to protect themselves and their fire from the rain.
[Iver] Yeah, this is gonna be good.
And hopefully, this shelter holds up.
[Iver] It's starting to rain.
Goddamn.
[Fernanda] It stopped raining.
Yeah, it's slowing down.
It rained all night and it was dry.
I mean, the floor was dry there, so it was so relieving.
But we definitely have to find some food here.
We haven't eaten anything.
So what we're going to do
is we're gonna finally gonna be able to fish in the pond.
[Iver] Oh, [bleep].
[Fernanda] It's all muddy.
We cannot fish. Just look at this.
I mean, the water has been pouring, all the sediments are up,
and the waterfall is just falling.
Oh, Goddamn.
There's a lot of mud in here.
So in my experience, fish never usually bite when it's muddy,
so we can't fish.
I'm really struggling out here because sources of food are scarce here,
and I am really starting to feel sluggish.
I am skinny. I am tired.
I'm even more beat down now.
Yeah.
We need to find something else.
So it's... it's kind of frustrating.
[Fernanda] How are you feeling?
[groans]
-Dizzy. Very dizzy. -[Fernanda] Yeah.
[Iver] Yeah, definitely feeling tired.
I mean, it's normal.
-We haven't eaten in days. -Yeah.
[Iver] Right now, I'm just gonna rest.
[Fernanda] Yeah, get some rest.
If one falls, the other can help.
Okay.
Yeah.
This challenge is the hardest challenge in the world.
I did not expect to be starving this much.
I can start to feel my body tearing itself down.
And, uh...
...right now I'm a beaten man.
What can I say?
Man, it's hard
[Fernanda] Iver's feeling dizzy.
He's feeling weak, so I'm gonna do the fishing.
I can do other stuff so that he can recover his strength.
What I'm going to do here is just make like an enclosure,
because maybe some of the fish are just swimming down the stream.
And just catch them here.
And they will get trapped.
So maybe I can just go from here.
But the other resources in that water, and we need to catch them
however we can.
And we need food.
So I hope this works.
[exhales]
Hey, Fernanda, you got a minute?
Uh, hold on.
[Iver] I could definitely come and help you.
But I don't have any energy for this, right?
No, don't worry. Don't worry. We're a team.
Yeah.
If you feel with energy tomorrow,
maybe you can just help me stacking rocks.
But for today, it's fine.
Um,
so I've been thinking, this challenge has really been an honor to be a part of,
but, um...
...I'm really concerned that if I continue in this challenge any further,
I'm going to risk getting injured
and, uh,
you know, I got to do what's best for me,
and I hope you can understand that.
I don't expect you to.
But, um,
this sucks, but I'm gonna have to tap.
Sorry.
Um,
I know that I can't control your decision.
Yeah.
It sucks.
Doing this task alone is... is tough.
Yeah.
[Fernanda] I'm speechless.
This kind of pisses me off.
I mean, having a partner out here.
I mean, you're dividing the responsibilities,
and now I am gonna have to do all of these things just by myself.
Yeah, this sucks.
This first week is your body is changing the metabolism.
-Your mind is going to play tricks on you. -Yeah, definitely.
But this is a well-considered choice that I'm doing.
I'm bummed.
I got to stick with it.
See you.
[Fernanda] Having had two partners leave the challenge,
I mean, I understand his decision,
but, uh, I totally imagined that we were gonna finish this challenge together.
I came in here with a big ego, thinking it would be a piece of cake,
and now I'm tapping out.
I did not expect that.
This sucks.
I would have never imagined that I would be here doing this alone again.
I just would love to have someone who doesn't quit.
So this is my first night by myself here,
and, uh, I'm still in shock, really.
I wasn't expecting this.
I came here to survive for 21 days, with or without a partner.
I'm alone in this.
I need to find how to survive.
[thunder rumbling]
The worst storm.
I mean, it's just, uh...
The lightning is just getting stronger.
The rain is getting stronger.
Oh, [bleep].
And I'm just trying to get my fire going.
But I just keep blowing and blowing and blowing,
and, uh...
Can you hear that?
It's pretty cold out here. It's just that...
The worst [bleep] storm.
Oh, [bleep].
I just had the worst night of my life.
It was just...
...hard rain for hours and hours.
Thunder and lightning striking everywhere.
It really sucked.
I don't want to tap out.
I definitely need to do this.
This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
I came here with a lot of skills,
but ones that I lacked that are really important is fishing and hunting.
And right now I need food.
I mean, I'm starving, honestly.
Oh.
I see something here.
What's that?
Oh, [bleep].
It's a grub.
I mean, I don't know how they taste.
I hope they taste good, but, uh,
sometimes in survival you have to eat really gross stuff.
But, uh, i mean, it's food.
Um, I'm getting mentally ready.
Okay.
Uno, dos, tres.
It's just disgusting at very little calories.
Just terrible.
I'm gonna go to the stream to do some fishing.
I need to find something bigger than grubs.
Something with more substance,
and I need to get some food.
I mean, I just feel like [bleep].
What is that?
It's a crawfish.
There's a crawfish in there.
[bleep]
Oh, you're too fast.
I am a marine biologist, and I've noticed that the big crawfish
are shelling,
which means that they're shedding their exoskeleton
in order to grow.
Since the big ones are shelling, they stay like hidden.
It's going to be a challenge because only the little ones are the ones coming out.
I can see you there.
[groans]
The little ones are really hard to get.
They slip right through your hand.
I'm gonna try fishing.
There's not a lot of options around of what to eat.
Well, I'm just running low in this place.
I mean, in order to survive here, I need to get some protein.
I don't think there's a single fish in this pond.
Oh, [bleep].
I need to find something to eat.
Can you hear that?
Tomorrow, I am going to go bullfrog hunting.
There's no other way but adapting and just changing the strategy.
I haven't had anything to eat in three days.
Just the grub.
So today, I am going bullfrog hunting.
[bleep]
Those [bleep] can see you from behind.
Maybe I need to move faster to get them.
It's been two days since I've been dreaming
that I hunt a full bullfrog, so I think I deserve it.
And it's over there.
I can see it, frog, but it's on the other side of the pond.
I don't know. I think that throwing my spear at it,
it's just, like, wait until it gets into a better position.
You cannot leave Illinois without catching [bleep] frog.
It's getting kind of late,
and at this hour frogs start to come out.
So I'm just gonna check around if I see one.
I didn't know how Illinois was going to be.
I wasn't expecting it to be this hard.
Uh, there's one, and I'm gonna get it.
[bleep]
The bullfrog hunting was a total failure.
I've been hunting with the spear in the morning, at noon, in the evening.
I mean, in different hours,
They just... they're so quick and they detect you.
I don't know if I'm gonna make it to the end.
Right now, I feel very tired.
The resources have been very scarce,
so that is a detriment of my energy right now.
I'm just worried.
I don't want to say that I won't be able to make it.
I'm just being realistic.
I feel very weak.
So, yeah, I'm really not sure.
Today, I just feel like [bleep], honestly.
I haven't slept in two days, so,
and ate anything.
[sighs] [bleep]
But, uh, just don't want to stay crawled up inside my shelter
doing nothing.
I'm here to stay and I'm just... I'm gonna make it
because this is what I came for.
So, yeah, I'm gonna do this.
I know that frogs are cold blooded.
So at night, since it's very cold out here,
they're gonna be slower and easier to spear.
But for that, I'm gonna need to make a torch
to be able to walk at night and see.
I'm just making it approximately the length of my spear.
And I'm doing this to stick it in the ground if I need to.
And I'm just gonna put four-point spear on top
so that I can hold the material that can burn.
Okay, there it is.
There's a frog here, and the moment has come.
I'm gonna have to kill it.
I'm coming for you.
I see a bullfrog.
[bleep]
[groans] [bleep]
Did I get you?
[bleep]
Did I get you?
[groans]
Yes, [bleep], got it.
Yes!
Do you know how important this is?
Oh, my God, I want to kiss you, stupid frog.
Mwah.
I'm [bleep] gonna eat tonight!
I'm gonna eat tonight a frog.
My God! I can't believe this just happened!
Yes! This is one of the the freaking coolest nights of my life.
I'm heading back to my shelter and eating it.
Whoo!
God.
Oh, [bleep].
No!
Look at that. I think that I just hit a metal jackpot.
I am gathering some metal
and I am going to make metal tea.
It's going to be very good for my stomach,
uh, for my headache,
and also it's going to be warm so I can be able to sleep faster.
[bleep] It's not good. [chuckles]
They were all bitter and just burned.
It's like medicine, yucky, and you want to throw up.
It has like a sour taste on your tongue.
This sucks.
Sometimes you gotta eat yucky stuff.
Ew.
God.
Oh, [bleep].
I've been keeping the fire low for this not to happen.
[bleep]
It was just like a minute of success, like a happiness.
And then I turned around and the freaking shelter is on fire.
I'm [bleep] homeless.
[sighs] [bleep]
Damn.
This was a good shelter.
[exhales] I'm just so sad that that happened.
Oh, man.
[sighs]
The only option that I have is just to set a fire under the big rock
and just boil some water and eat my frog.
I mean, I don't want to think about anything else.
I just want to enjoy my frog.
I'll just manage for tonight.
[sighs]
Mmm. Mmm.
I don't think that I can sleep in here at all.
Day 21.
[sighs]
Yeah, I didn't sleep at all last night. I'm really tired.
Wow.
It's good that it didn't start a fire.
[sighs]
I have very little energy left.
Honestly, there's like 5% of energy in my battery.
But I have to think about my extraction.
So I'm here.
And I need to walk all the way to here.
I mean, this is like a big rock wall.
So that is like a big question mark that is in my mind right now.
[narrator] To complete her challenge, Fernando will trek northeast,
traversing four miles of dense forest and thorn-filled woodlands
to a rocky gorge that she must descend to reach the extraction site.
[Fernanda] I am really grateful for this place, for this forest,
for providing to us,
for being my home and allowing me to survive in here.
Adios.
Just gonna stop a little bit.
I get a little bit dizzy.
In my condition,
that could be very dangerous, especially since I'm by myself.
I could fall down and crack my head open on something.
It's risky. But it's worth the risk.
Ow, ow, ow, ow, ow.
I need to be very careful because I don't know if I might
step into a poisonous snake or something.
[grunts]
There's thorns here.
[speaking Spanish] [bleep].
That's Spanish for what? A beautiful plant.
Yeah, there's a lot of thorns in here.
They're everywhere.
My poor feet.
There's some big rocks here.
Could this be the rock wall?
I've got to be very careful.
If I break an ankle or whatever injury that I might have
can just, like, take me out of the challenge.
So I got to be smart.
I gotta find a way down.
I see that there's a way down through a crevice.
It's the only way down that I see.
So I'm just gonna give it a try.
I hope that I don't...
I hope that I don't wake any bears.
Threw a rock and nothing moved.
I think it's clear.
Tiny spaces. Tiny spaces. I'm okay.
A lot of spider webs.
Holy [bleep].
[groans] But I'm on the other [bleep] side.
Jesus.
[exhales]
[exhales]
Oh, my God. Oh, my God. Oh, my God.
There's an open field.
[exhales]
Whoo!
[bleep], yeah!
Whoo!
[grunts]
Twenty one days!
Yeah!
I did it by myself for 13 days.
Honestly,
sometimes I didn't think I could do it, but, uh...
...I've made it. I'm so proud of myself.
[narrator] Over the course of 21 days, Fernanda lost 18 pounds.
Her Primitive Survival Rating rises from 7.2 to 7.8.
Two Naked and Afraid challenges complete.
Most of the time by myself.
Take that, Illinois.
Viva Mexico. [speaking Spanish]
Yeah!
