1800s, historically correct, that you can enjoy during an episode of Quick

The episode this week's drink is Badminton.

Not named after the game with the shuttlecock.

which is my nickname in college.

You are to imbibe this drink, if you wish, for our seventh episode, Honey's

which is one of my favorites. So I hope you enjoy it. A lot of sex.

Nice. Get ready, everybody.

All right. I'm ready.

Yeah. All right.

All right. Let's get to the badminton.

Now, the badminton, it's not named after the game. As I said, it's named after

the English fox hunt. Apparently, there was an English fox hunt in the 1800s

named badminton. All right. So, first thing, peel half of a middle -sized

cucumber, which you've already done. Done. So phallic. Something just dripped

me. I think he just... They do that.

I think that, yeah, they sure do.

I think he shot his load.

All right.

Let's put that. And then you put it into a silver cup. And when they said cup,

they meant bowl. There's actually an asterisk here. It says, note, cup in

case would seem to mean a large loving cup -sized vessel.

With four ounces. That bowl doesn't even know it's in there. Uh -huh. Look at

that big old bowl.

It's like a seventh grader and a lady of the evening. All right. Now.

Four ounces of powdered sugar. And you don't use anything to measure. You just

know. I just go by. You don't weigh it.

Yeah. Okay.

Okay. All right. Does that feel like four ounces to you? That's how I like

All right. A little nutmeg. Always with the nutmeg. These people were nuts about

the nutmeg. Or we're nuts about it. I'm not sure what time we're in right now.

And a bottle of claret.

Or claret.

So here we go.

Mmm. What is that? Just wine. It's red.

Yeah, it's wine. Okay, I don't know. I don't drink that stuff.

I drink Boone's Farm.

You pour it in like the way a man pees on a urinal when he doesn't want anybody

to hear him. You hit the side.

Right. And you come in.

Flash guard. Mm -hmm.

Flip it around a couple of times. Catch it in the air.

You just do that. That's fine, too. All right.

And then, when the sugar is thoroughly dissolved, and we'll just assume that,

pour in a bottle of soda water.

And how they got soda water back then, how do you think they made soda water?

How do we make soda water?

You put bubbles in it.

Absolutely right. Isn't that right? Yeah, absolutely.

Now it says, and it is fit for use. I love the way these recipes read.
