And I escaped. So basically, my

Now, which ruler of Egypt did you start
doing your show under?

I did it under something called the
Military Council. And then Morsi, who

representative of the Muslim
Brotherhood, Islamist.

And then Abdel Fattah al -Sisi, who is a
military guy. So we went back.

Sisi. Yeah, yeah, you met him.

I love Sisi. Oh, I know.

I love Al -Sisi. You know, when you met
him for the first time in my life, we

see an American president who's being
envious about his Egyptian counterpart.

Oh, absolutely. I know. I mean, you're
looking at him. Oh, my God, you're

jailing all of these people. You're
oppressing all of these people. You're

putting them in jail and you're shutting
down media. How could you do that? I

know. You're giving me a job. I know.

Americans say, I'm an authoritarian.

But what's it like to live under a real
authoritarian regime?

You want the details.

Yes, so I can make it more like that.

Well, just the last two weeks, our
Egyptian president closed down more than

or 50 websites.

He's putting a lot of people in jail.
Anybody who is speaking against the

government is being put in jail.

There is no real opposition.

The court's under his control. The media
is bought by the military. I just got

gorgeous.

Gorgeous? Gorgeous.

Gorgeous. He's this guy in the Supreme
Court. I totally got the court. Yes,

Gorgeous. Yes.

Now this, like everywhere.

Gorgeous everywhere? Everywhere, yes.

And here's the thing. Just like, imagine
if you're waking up in the morning.

Okay. I'm naked. Yes. And I'm covered in
crust. Exactly.

And you find your president giving away
a piece of your land to another country.

This happened exactly in Egypt. What?
Our Egyptian president woke up and he

our two islands that we fought for,
thousands of people were killed for it

wars, and he gave it to another country.
And anybody who objected and said these

countries are Egyptian were being called
a traitor and being put to jail. Hold

on. This is what...

totalitarian regimes look like. I love
it. That's brilliant. I know. So if you,

for example, you wake up and give
Massachusetts, for example, to England.

It's been English the whole time. And
anybody who says, oh, they're American,

you put them in jail. Totally. Then
what's Pocahontas going to do?

What's she going to do then?

In Egypt, what is the complexity, the
makeup of both religious and ethnic

that makes it both a diverse...

but also it's had a steadfast
relationship with the United States for

even longer, maybe 100 years. What is
the special relationship between Egypt

the United States? And by that, I mean,
why do we prop up dictators?

Because for decades, American presidents
just gave money to whoever dictators

who will give them either oil, security,
or buy their weapons.

I mean, just the other day, you accused
Qatar of being a terrorist nation.

I hate Qatar.

And then the next day, you sold them $12
billion in weapons. I love Qatar. I

know.

I hate them, but I love them. I mean,
just the other day, you say, like, Islam

is in war with us, and then you went to
Saudi Arabia, and you took their money.

Yeah. Amazing. Exactly. How do you do
it? I'll tell you, by having absolutely

moral center whatsoever.
