Today's episode is Nicodemus. That's our sixth episode. Very interesting
episode. And the drink for episode six is Santina's Pousse Cafe.
Pousse? Pousse.
That's right. First we start with a third cup brandy or cognac. What are you
going with? Brandy? Is that brandy or cognac? Yeah, that's brandy. Okay. Third
cup brandy.
Excellent.
Okay, that's a large, that's a heavy. A third of a cup. Of this cup. Okay, yes
it is.
A third cup of Maraschino liqueur. That's the sweet cherry liqueur, not the
Kurschwaffe.

Kurschwaffe. Scary.

cutie little bottle you have.
All right.
Yeah. Now that is a drink that is going to take you out.
But it looks pretty tasty, actually. Oh, you're putting a little maraschino
cherry in there.
Oh,
just to get the cherry juice out?

from a recipe by Santina, the proprietor of Santina's Saloon, a celebrated
Spanish cafe in New Orleans in 1860.
All right, let's bring in our taste tester, Deputy Eli Brocious.
Now, you've tasted every drink. I have tasted every drink.
This one is one of the sweeter ones.
It's sweet. It's a sweet poos.
It's a good sweet poos with a lot of alcohol in it. And a broken cherry in
bottom. Uh -huh. You broke the cherry in your poos. Yeah. All right.
On that note, here, maybe you should keep holding that. Sorry about that.
got to take care of the poos. Yeah. You handle your own. I shouldn't be touching
his poos. Yeah. Well, I apologize.
You get your hands all over another man's poos. You're going to marry that
All right. On that note, by the way, we're going to have a drinking game
time you hear that word.
You put your lips on your poos and tilt it back.
Enjoy.
If all of America's hammered while you watch our shows, we're going to be a
