But the least Tripp can do is be a little more understanding,

considering how much he's asked of her.

After everything Claire did--I mean she practically tried every

trick in the book to keep you and Tripp apart.

she's hurting. And I just--I want to put it

past us. Plus, you know, Claire actually

ended up doing me a favor. Because obviously Tripp and I

were not meant to be.

You know, the recording where he admitted that his marriage to

So he then told Tripp that that was the only reason Haley

confessed, and Tripp got very suspicious.

Then he confronted me. >> Eve: Well, then you deny,

All right, and he just kept pushing and pushing!

I told him that I only did it because I loved him and I didn't

wanna lose him! And then he was just so angry,

and he kept saying that I destroyed Haley's life and that

that he never wanted to be with me again.

'cause you promised me that these recordings would be the

answer to our prayers, but they weren't.
