When I first heard of this 2012 conspiracy, it sounded like a bunch of

mumbo jumbo.

But then we got a tip from a guy named Jim Higgins.

He edits books on conspiracies.

He said this could be the one to end all.

He wasn't kidding.

The clock could be ticking on this one.

Governor, I think there's a real serious problem that I think you are the person

who can look into. There is.

Something that's going to be happening in the next couple of years. Scientists

have reported that there is going to be solar flare activity that's going to be

much, much more furious than what we've seen in the past. And this puts major

repercussions for people in this country.

Wait, in a couple of years? You mean we're talking the Mayan calendar here?

The governor has reason to be skeptical.

Many fears about 2012 are based on an ancient Mayan calendar that happens to

on December 21st of that year.

But even that so -called end -of -days prophecy has been subject to debate.

Whether you believe in the Mayan calendar prophecies or not is actually

beside the point. There are some actual scientific facts that have been reported

by NASA.

In about two years, the sun is going to go through a very unusual series of

solar flares. The radiation that comes out from that solar flare, that

electromagnetic energy, is going to hit the Earth.

What they're talking about is something major. How bad do they think this is

going to be? Well, it can be bad enough that our crumbling electric grid could

be hit in a major way. Now, we're not talking about a few cities losing power,

even. We're talking about it could be half the country. It could be more than

that. The whole country and the government's not concerned about this?

these underground places while the rest of us are left to deal with the chaos

Well, my anniversary was a couple months ago. What are you talking about?

We all had an anniversary a couple days ago. It was the 150th anniversary of the

greatest solar storm ever to belch out and hit the Earth.

Back then, didn't do much.

Made the northern lights sparkle plenty and made telegraph wires burn a little

bit. But today, if we were hit by that same size solar storm, the entire

electrical power grid would be knocked out. Of the United States? Of the United

States, at least.

According to the National Academy of Sciences, not just me, Governor, the

National Academy of Sciences, which is the closest thing we have to a Supreme

Court, a scientific opinion in this world, up to 130 million people would be

without electricity for months or years. We would lose basic security, emergency

telecommunications, fresh water, because the pumps are electric. And we are

vulnerable. And you're predicting that that is going to happen at what point in

time? 2012.

Lawrence Joseph is not exaggerating.

Incredibly, NASA's own studies are in line with ancient Mayan predictions.

It includes opinions from experts around the world. It concludes that solar

storms could lead to a cascade of catastrophe.

Well, if this is such a threat, then, and it's only a couple years away, why

When the National Academy of Sciences report came out, it did get a little bit

of buzz and a little bit of press. But it's even more than that. The next

NASA discovered something that makes the why now more urgent than ever. And that

is? A squadron of five NASA satellites called Themis, T -H -E -M -I -S, flew

through a hole in the Earth's magnetic field that goes from the pole to

NASA reports its Themis spacecraft have discovered a giant breach in the

magnetosphere, ten times larger than any thought to exist.

And that's the Earth situation right now? The shields are down?

-Sar Pong, finds those predictions are actually fairly tame.

to build their own city, which he says will protect them from this huge

catastrophe that's going to take place in 2012.

Yeah, and I'm sure in return for your safety, he'll take all of your life

savings. Hold on, hold on. Some of this is actually coming from our own

government. So where are we on these bunkers we're talking about here?

Well, we've been doing some research and we found some satellite imagery that

shows what could be entrances to deep underground military bases. When we call

the companies who supposedly operate these bases, they deny that these

facilities even exist.

They deny that they even exist.

Look at the size of that thing. How can you not have a record of that?

And why would they be denying them? That raises the old flag up again. If it's

above board, why do you deny it? It's one thing to be looking at it from a

satellite, though. We've got to go up and see what these things look like from

Everybody seems to know where this facility is. Let's say that there's a

event, a terrible crisis like 2012.

What would happen in the event that hundreds of thousands of people storm

gates and want to get in?

That would be a problem. We would have to control that kind of an entourage

coming up to the facility.

Are your security forces prepared to fire on American citizens to protect the

facility?

They're trained to protect this facility.

And they'll do what it takes. And they'll do what it takes.

Jesse isn't far from the terminal when he sees something that's almost as

shocking.

Clearly there's a lot of construction still going on when you look at this

because these aren't abandoned places out here.

It's a surprise that we're even here without getting arrested.

There's also excavation. Clear evidence they're still digging beneath the

airport property.

See that pile of dirt over there? Way over there?

That's not a mountain. That's dirt. This is completely flat here. This is the

Great Plains. That dirt came from somewhere.

Look at the massive quantity of rock.

And then, the reason all the earth is being moved, like statues in the desert,

tunnels, structures waiting to be placed underground.

What in the hell are those?

Those are absolutely for a tunnel. There's no doubt about that.

We've heard that there are tunnels that connect this facility to the Denver

airport. And we've heard that there is an underground city that dwarfs this.

It's four or five times the size of this, built under the Denver airport.

I am not aware of any kind of facility like that in Denver.

Let's say there is a crisis in 2012.

Is this facility equipped to withstand it?

We're very well protected, obviously.

Can I come back if something terrible happens?

We probably will have the blast pores closed by the time you get here.

So knocking on them will do me no good?

You can knock all day long.

They're still working.

Yeah, there's a lot of construction here.

They're refurbishing and rebuilding their underground city.

They made their worst -case scenario escape hatch.

You firmly believe there's an underground facility underneath this new

area? I've had drywallers, I've had painters, I've had mechanics tell me it.

would they lie?

I believe them. Too many people tell me the same story, and they're just regular

folks. They don't have an agenda.

It's part of a plan to save their butts when the end of the world comes.

And they've got all the money in the world so they can do anything they want.

It's as simple as that. That's all it is.

More than a dozen contractors refused to speak with the governor about

underground bunkers beneath the airport.

Put all the ancient prophecies and myths aside.

Experts tell us there's scientific evidence that 2012 could mean big

old Mother Earth.

And no one in the government is even warning us to set aside a flashlight.

A lot of people are already making their own plans.

I never thought I'd see the day when people traded their homes for condos and

missile silos.

But they are.

And government bunkers?

They're no secret. The only thing we don't know is how many and where.
