Hidden power.

Secrets. Cover -ups.

Corruption.

You think you know the whole story?

Think again.

I've been governor.

A Navy SEAL.

A fighter.

I've heard things that'll blow your mind. And now I think it's time you get

whole story.

Now.

The biggest conspiracy America's ever seen. The JFK assassination.

Oswald was a pest.

No question about it. You thought the case was closed.

But Jesse Ventura tears it wide open. You were literally 10 to 15 feet away

from the fatal headshot and the Warren Commission never even called to have you

testify? New evidence.

And new suspects who still pose a threat today.

I sleep with a gun under my pillow.

Should I?

Maybe. Maybe.

Did Lee Harvey Oswald act alone?

Did Lee Harvey Oswald act at all?

Were four future presidents involved in the plot?

I came across the astounding fact that he had been unable to remember where he

was on November 22, 1963.

And what's the connection to Watergate?

Newly discovered documents.

An exclusive deathbed confession.

I was brought in for a big event.

The more exposure I get in telling my story puts me in a greater level of

danger. All new Declassified.

How much do I fear for my life?

The JFK Conspiracy.

I'm Jesse Ventura and this is Conspiracy Theory.

Jesse Ventura's investigation into the JFK conspiracy has led to a motel on a

seedy stretch of Hollywood Boulevard.

He's here to meet a man who claims to hold evidence that could crack the

government conspiracy of our time.

The man is afraid.

Very afraid.

For good reason.

What is it?

The evidence this man is holding just might be the smoking gun.

He confessed that he participated in the murder of John Kennedy, do you? That's

exactly true.

The assassination of John F. Kennedy.

When it comes to conspiracies, it's the granddaddy of them all.

If you can get away with killing a president, You can get away with

When I was a teenager back in the 60s, I believed the Warren Commission when

they said Lee Harvey Oswald did it by himself.

But too much didn't add up. The government couldn't wait to close the

the case.

Me, I never let it go.

I've done my own research from Dallas to Havana, and I still haven't found all

the answers.

That's how I wound up on this bridge. A guy named Ron said he had some new

evidence. I have some very classified papers here that I've held on for years.

But my health won't let me do that anymore.

So I wanted your team to investigate.

Okay.

They deal with the assassination of President Kennedy.

Ron didn't want to give his last name.

He did want to give me those papers, classified CIA papers.

He said he was developing a movie about the assassination when someone gave them

to him.

He took one look and locked them away until he decided to hand them to me.

You know, I've always followed the Kennedy killing and studied it. Is there

something new here I'm going to learn?

It tells a lot of different stories.

The CIA is at the top of the list and Nixon.

Nixon. Nixon.

Richard Nixon.

The assassination of one president leads to another president.

This story needs to be told to the people. They need the truth because

has ever told the truth.

Where did you get these?

I got them from a CIA agent.

Now, that's a little bizarre.

CIA agents don't normally start handing out classified documents.

No, but this young man wanted to see this story told.

Where is he today?

I think he's dead.

You seem frightened a little, are you?

I've been frightened during... Because you have these?

Yes, sir.

And I sleep with a gun under my pillow.

Well, now that I have them, should I?

Maybe. Maybe.

He sleeps with a gun under his pillow.

After all this time.

The forces behind the conspiracy are still out there.

These CIA documents might give a clue who they are.

I had some reading.

Turns out those papers set out a motive for JFK's murder in black and white.

And sure enough, Richard Nixon is in the middle.

It goes back to 1959.

when Vice President Nixon oversaw Operation 40, a CIA hit squad out to

Fidel Castro, who just seized power in Cuba.

After JFK was elected, Operation 40 agents joined a failed invasion of Cuba

at the Bay of Pigs.

According to these papers, JFK refused to try again.

So the Operation 40 gang decided to kill JFK.

They figured they'd point the finger at Castro and get rid of him for good.

This gets even wilder, people. These documents link the killing of JFK to

Watergate. How's that?

Well, there was this Operation 40 back in the 50s that Richard Nixon was in

charge of.

that had E. Howard Hunt, Frank Sturgis, all of the same cast of characters that

ended up being involved in the Watergate break -in. These guys are working for

the committee to re -elect the president. In those days, the aptly

They were an assassination team back in the 50s. Nixon leaves offices in the

private sector for eight years, but these guys kept on operating.

Comes 1972,

up comes Watergate. I think Nixon was set up on Watergate.

by these same people that these documents now link to JFK. But why would

want to do that to Nixon? Nixon had asked the CIA for all documents

dealing with the Kennedy murder, and I think that these rogues in the CIA did

not want Nixon sticking his nose into the JFK murder eight years after it

happened. But, Governor, where do we start on this?

Well, I'm going to go talk to somebody that knows a lot about it, but

unfortunately he's dead.

Not that that would stop you.

The man who knew more than anyone about the forces behind the JFK assassination

was Air Force Colonel L. Fletcher Prouty.

Prouty worked in the Pentagon as a military liaison to the CIA.

He died in 2001.

But he left his secrets with a man named Len Osanic.

Osanic got Prouty to record hundreds of hours of testimony on video.

I need to know about the CIA, the Secret Service, the Pentagon, the Russians, as

well as the Cubans.

The murder was a carefully planned job. Remove the protection.

You're going to have somebody assassinated.

And it was evident in the area of Dallas that the Secret Service coverage either

didn't exist or was at a minimum. It was a major, controlled coup d 'etat that

was absolutely effective.

Letcher Prouty backed those CIA documents, but he also took the

another direction, back to Lee Harvey Oswald.

Which means that he had been with the CIA.

Oswald was a patsy, no question about it.

And that the murderers were professionals that I knew existed.

He said it flat out.

Oswald was framed.

I'd heard enough.

Yeah, there are a lot of different ways to go in this case, but there was only

one way for me to go.

I was headed to Dallas.

Coming up. Fire in the hole.

Dealey Pleasure.

Jesse Ventura finds shocking new evidence at the JFK crime scene.

You were literally.

10 to 15 feet away from the fatal headshot, and the Warren Commission

called to have him testify?

Then, a surprise admission at a place built to support the Warren Commission's

lone gunman theory.

Well, I go home. I think there's more to it than Lee Harvey Awful.

And later.

Jesse confronts the man who thought he'd put all the conspiracy theories to

rest. You won't let me talk because I want to interject some stuff here. I'm

sorry, Vince, but... Jesse

Ventura

has touched down in dollars to reopen the investigation into the assassination

of President John F. Kennedy.

Dealey Plaza.

This is where the president was murdered on November 22nd, 1963.

The questions are, who fired the shots and where did they come from?

Several police officers are rushing up the hill at this time.

This is the event that inspired my work with conspiracies.

This is why I always question authority.

This is where it happened.

There's the turn in the road where the motorcade slowed down as Kennedy's

convertible approached.

Up there, that's the Texas Book Depository, sixth floor.

That's where Oswald supposedly fired the shots.

But over there, that's the grassy knoll.

That's where a lot of witnesses thought the shots came from.

That's where the conspiracy theories were born.

And that's Bill Newman.

He was standing right there on that terrible day.

He's one of the few witnesses who survived to tell his story.

Many others died mysteriously.

Bill may be alive today because he slipped through the cracks.

Well, Bill, this is about the spot right here that you and your family were

standing at? That's correct.

and my two children, Bill, who was four at the time, and Clayton, who was two.

President Kennedy came down just about the center lane. He was out from the

probably some 10 or 12 feet.

But you were this close.

As the president's car turned left onto Elm Street, probably some 100 feet or

less from us, the first two shots rang out. And it was a boom, boom like that,

just as the car got straight in front of us.

Third shot rang out.

The side of President Kennedy's head blew off.

You could see the brain matter and the blood fly up.

Mrs. Kennedy, she screamed out, oh my God, no, they've shot Jack.

I turned to Gail and I said, that's it, hit the ground and we threw our children

down and covered them on the ground.

I thought the shot had come from directly behind.

Directly behind? Shot down from behind.

Did you see anything in the book depository building or anything?

No.

No, I mean, I had no reason to look at the book depository.

I read the report you were interviewed by the FBI, a one -page report.

Your wife, about, what, two -thirds of a page report?

You have it. I have it.

There's yours and there's your wife. That was the only, I would say, the

official contact that we had with her.

Any authorities.

You were literally 10 to 15 feet away from the fatal headshot, and the Warren

Commission never even called to have you testify or talk to you?

No, Governor, we were never contacted by the Warren Commission, and I question

that because others like yourself would ask that same question.

The Warren Commission.

The new president, Lyndon Johnson, set it up a week after the assassination to

investigate the killing.

The report concluded Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone.

But before he died, commission member Gerald Ford admitted that the CIA had

destroyed or withheld critical evidence.

A Warren commission didn't even talk to you. Never interviewed.

No.

It seems to me like they had the answer before they asked the questions. They

already knew the conclusion.

The Warren Commission's lone gunman theory relies on something called the

bullet. One bullet would have caused all the non -fatal wounds to JFK and Texas

Governor John Connally sitting in front of him.

Warren Commission staffer Arlen Specter came up with that one.

What do you know?

He wound up a sinner.

Gerald Ford later admitted that he'd changed the description of JFK's wounds

make the theory sound more plausible.

He wound up president.

You help the Warren Commission in the cover -up, good things can happen.

So the fatal shot, as far as you're concerned. Fatal shot came from right

Remember, Kennedy said went back and to the left.

Back and to the left, all right?

Back and left.

The sixth floor of the Texas School Book Depository, where Oswald allegedly

fired the shots, is now a museum.

The museum presents the Warren Commission's version of events.

How come we can't ever get into the real shooter nest?

Preservation. The wood floor is the same way it was back then. Even the markings

on the floor, which are visible on the crime scene photos, are still there.

Preservation is the only reason that they do that and keep it the way it is.

Yeah, see, I have a difficult time with him making these shots.

I think that it's virtually next to impossible. The guy was not a very good

to begin with because in the military, when you only qualify as a marksman,

that's the lowest you can be.

I had a chance to test the same type of rifle, same ammunition, and try to

recreate Oswald's shooting sequence.

Assassination expert Jim Fetzer warned me about the weapon.

The Mannlicher Carcano, the bolt action was so difficult that when you side in

with the telescopic sight, after you work the bolt, you're thrown off the

and you have to re -side again.

We got the crate.

It's supposed to be 190!

to recreate the elevation and distance of Oswald's perch.

Those hay bales represent the spots where JFK was hit.

Oswald supposedly got off three shots in 6 .3 seconds.

He had to shoot through trees, too, and his target was moving.

Just for the record, I was an expert marksman in both pistol and rifle.

When I was governor of Minnesota, I amazingly still qualified as an expert

years old.

All right, weapons going hot.

Go ahead.

Sure.

Stand by, fire in the hole.

Yeah, slam it.

Slam it? Yeah.

Stand by, fire in the hole.

Then take the rest out.

How fast?

117.

Well, let's go again.

The Mannlicher is so cheap and hard to work, there's no way Oswald could get

three shots that fast.

How much?

884. Fire in the hole.

I hit the target a few times and even got in a head shot.

But nowhere near the time Oswald supposedly pulled it off.

And he did it in six.

This is impossible.

And I'm not the only one. In the past, a lot of reenactments by expert marksmen

failed, including ones by CBS News and even the Warren Commission.

I told the sixth floor museum curator, Gary Mack, about our little test.

You're the curator of this museum, so naturally you have to follow museum

policy.

Let's pretend we're not here.

Okay. Let's pretend you and I are sitting out having a cold one. Okay.

good. What's your position at that point?

Personally. Personally. Personal position.

Well, I go home.

I think there's more to it than Lee Harvey Oswald.

Even the guy who's paid to spout the party line doesn't buy the official

I can't prove it.

I have some bits and pieces that to me say there's got to be more to it than

Oswald. But I can't prove it.

And there are a lot more questions about Lee Harvey Oswald's actions that day.

Evidence that Lee Harvey Oswald was set up.

I submit to you that Lee Harvey Oswald was a low -level agent of the federal

government of the United States. Then, hiding in plain sight, Oswald's widow

meets the governor.

He asked me a very brutal question.

Would you sacrifice your children for the truth?

And later, yet another U .S. president is linked to the assassination

conspiracy. He had been unable to remember where he was on November 22,

Jesse Ventura and investigator Alex Piper are in Dallas, Texas, tracing the

route taken by Lee Harvey Oswald after he allegedly shot President John F.

Kennedy. His path from the book depository.

would lead to his death two days later when he was shot by Jack Ruby in the

basement of Dallas police headquarters.

After the assassination, Lee Harvey Oswald had plenty of chances to

but he didn't. He hopped a bus, but didn't make it to the Greyhound station.

He got out in traffic and took a taxi cab past the train station and over the

bridge to his rooming house a couple of miles away.

And when he gets here, he went inside, he changed his clothes, supposedly,

obviously picked up the revolver and gun.

And then the lady who owned this place said to him, you know, the president's

been shot, you know, because, of course, it was all on television and all that.

And then he just went out the door. At this point, Oswald supposedly took off

foot. He'd walked three quarters of a mile when he was stopped on this

residential street by a cop named J .D. Tippett.

There you see 10th and Patton.

Oswald supposedly fit a Dallas police radio description of a JFK suspect, a

white male, around 30 years old, about 5 '10". That description was based on a

single witness in Dealey Plaza who said he saw someone in a book depository

window. How could he tell the guy's height six floors up?

Tippett is coming the same direction and pulls, you know, and then confronts

Oswald right here. They have a conversation out the window.

Tippett gets out of the car and starts to walk around, and that's when he's

shot. And that's when Oswald shot him about four or five times with a

and yet they found shell casings on the ground.

Why would he leave the evidence of shell casings lying next to the body?

You know, too pat, too easy, you know, is what it says to me. It's too perfect.

After the shooting, Oswald continued his walk.

Is this location on the way? Well, it's in the general direction, but it is a

slight detour. And this is where the official story gets even more dicey.

Because the next thing Lee Harvey Oswald did was go to the movies.

Jim Mars was waiting for us outside the Texas theater where Lee Harvey Oswald

was arrested.

Mars is a major figure in the JFK conspiracy world. His book was a source

Oliver Stone's JFK movie.

I always found it kind of strange that.

Here the guy has just murdered the president, allegedly shoots a police

and ends up here.

Now, why Oswald was in the theater opens up a whole other area of investigation.

So I think he was here to try to make some kind of contact to find out what's

going on, what's happened here. So you're saying he came here to meet a

and then whoever it was that he was working for or working with cut him

I think that's what happened. And called the cops on him.

So who was the contact?

Jim Mars says Oswald worked for the CIA.

I submit to you that Lee Harvey Oswald was a low -level agent of the federal

government of the United States.

Other evidence backs Jim Mars and Fletcher Prouty's claim that Oswald was

CIA.

Oswald was a U .S. Marine stationed at the CIA base in Atsugi, Japan.

At 20, the ex -Marine defected to the Soviet Union, then returned to Texas two

years later without a hitch, but with a new wife.

Then he struck up an unlikely friendship with an educated older man named George

DeMorenschild. A lot of experts think DeMorenschild was Oswald's CIA handler.

If anyone would know if Oswald was CIA, it's his widow Marina.

We did some digging.

We found that after all these years, she still lives in the Dallas area.

I got her on the phone.

I think that Lee worked for the government. I think that he was an

operative.

How much do I fear for my life?

Do you know what the Navy SEALs are?

Well, I'm one of them. I don't carry that type of fear.

All right, bye -bye.

Her great fears for her children.

And I can't blame her in light of what she's lived through and what she knows.

She asked me a very brutal question.

She said, would you sacrifice your children for the truth?

Marina Oswald agreed to meet with me. I had a lot of questions to ask.

Coming up, Jesse Ventura meets Marina Oswald, the widow of JFK's alleged

assassin. She said that she initially believed Lee did it because all she

learned was the government side of it.

Then, confrontation with the man who's tried to kill off the JFK conspiracy

theories. Okay, off.

And later.

Let's listen to it.

Exclusive. A bombshell confession from one of the conspirators.

Jesse Ventura is breaking new ground in the JFK conspiracy.

Evidence suggests clear connections between the alleged assassin and the

Now the governor is headed off to meet Lee Harvey Oswald's widow.

Marina Prusakova was 19 and living with her uncle, a prominent KGB officer, when

she met the U .S. defector in Minsk in 1961.

She and Oswald married six weeks later.

Marina Oswald met me in a public place just outside Dallas.

She brought along her second husband, Kenneth.

We talked for two and a half hours, but she refused to speak on camera.

She said she didn't want to put her daughters in jeopardy. Nearly 50 years

later, she's still afraid.

Asked her point blank, were you a Russian agent?

And she said, absolutely not.

She also felt that Lee was at some level working with the CIA.

She did feel also that George DeMorenshield was a CIA agent.

She felt that George had came onto the scene out of nowhere. Like he said, why

would this rich guy, George DeMorenshield, take any interest in us?

poor.

She said that she initially believed Lee did it because all she learned was the

government side.

But she said today she unequivocally feels he did not do it.

I did get this totally verified.

She took the famous photograph of Lee Harvey Oswald holding the gun and the

communist paper. She looked me right in the eye. She said, yes, I took that

photograph. It's not doctored. It's not anything.

I said, why?

She said, I don't know why. Lee wanted it done.

I got the impression that Lee was under instruction to get those photos taken.

And I believe it was all part of creating the setup, you know, to create

photos of him with the gun.

I found an investigator who linked George H .W.

Bush to the plot.

Russ Baker was his name.

He dug up a lot of secrets about the Bush family for a new book.

I want to meet this guy.

I knew you would.

I expected another CIA connection, even another president.

But Russ Baker was about to tell me secret history.

Nobody really thinks of George H .W. Bush being part of the JFK

I came across the astounding fact that he had been unable to remember where he

was on November 22, 1963.

And of course, anyone over the age of five. I remember where I was. I was in

seventh grade and junior high. They announced it, dismissed us and sent us

George H .W. Bush was actually in Dallas the night before. He stayed overnight

in Dallas, and that day he was there in the morning. We only know that the next

shows up after the shooting in Tyler, Texas, which is a short plane flight

there. And he gets up at a Kiwanis Club meeting and is about to deliver his

speech. And then he says, I've just learned that the president has died. And

then he goes to a public phone and he calls the FBI and he identifies himself

name. And he says, I may have some idea who shot the president.

What he was doing was creating a reason to put a document into the government

records showing that he was trying to be helpful and that he was in a place

other than Dallas around the time of the assassination.

This move by George H .W. just adds to suspicions he was involved with the CIA

long before he was appointed CIA director by President Gerald Ford in

Warren Commissioner Gerald Ford.

Is there documentation that backs this up? There are two key documents, both

declassified FBI documents.

This is an FBI document stating that George H .W. Bush reported that a young

Republican in Houston had threatened to kill the president the day before the

assassination.

Moreover, an old friend of his, a fellow by the name of George DeMorenchild, was

essentially the handler for Lee Harvey Oswald.

George DeMorenchild.

Most every person agreed he was the CIA connection to Oswald. We didn't know his

other connections.

He's a good friend of George H .W. Bush? George H .W. Bush was a roommate in

prep school with his nephew.

Really? And then there's a connection there, naturally, because George H .W.

Bush was CIA, and so was George DeMorenchild.

Well, that's right.

Oswald's handler, this George DeMorenchild, whatever happened to him?

Well, fascinating thing, Jesse. In 1976, when George Bush was the head of the

CIA, he received a letter.

from George DeMorenchild, and he says, Dear George, congratulations.

I need your help.

I'm in trouble. There's some kind of a net closing in on me. Perhaps I've been

indiscreet and talking too much about Lee Harvey Oswald. Six months later,

George DeMorenchild is dead from a shotgun blast to the head.

They called it a suicide.

So we got another connection to a president.

It seems a little tenuous to me.

Well, check this out. This is also from Russ Baker. This was taken outside the

school book depository just after the assassination. Just after it. Does this

man look familiar to you?

Man, I don't know.

That looks a lot like George H .W. Bush to me. Oh, come on. That could be

anyone. Well, a lot of people seem to think it. That does bear resemblance.

Then there's the famous picture of the three tramps that were arrested in

Plaza right after the shooting.

Now, there they are being marched across Dealey Plaza.

Many experts say they were dressed too good to be tramps. And you see the short

tramp in the back, the old man tramp right there?

A lot of experts think that that is E. Howard Hunt, the CIA agent.

Operation Bodyguard?

The water knee burglar?

Yep.

The one and only.

Coming up, Vincent Bugliosi put Charles Manson behind bars, but he's not willing

to confront JFK's real killers. Tell me he had no connection to the CIA.

I'm sorry, Vince. And later, the tramp's photos lead to a startling confession

and make the conspiracy very real.

Do you feel fear today in speaking out?

Jesse Ventura's investigation into the JFK conspiracy has taken him to Los

Angeles. His next stop is at the home of a very influential friend.

Vincent Bugliosi was the DA who put away Charles Manson.

He's the prosecutor who wants to charge George W. Bush with murder, religiously

lying to take us to war in Iraq.

And he's author of the latest, most comprehensive book on the JFK

More than 1 ,600 pages.

concluding that Oswald did it on his own.

Vince, in a nutshell, why do you think Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone and killed

President Kennedy?

Jesse, Lee Harvey Oswald, everything, everything pointed to this guy's guilt.

Let's assume for the sake of argument that the CIA or the mob said, let's kill

Kennedy. Oswald would have been just the type of guy that the CIA or mob would

want to rely upon to commit the biggest murder.

in American history. I'm being sarcastic now.

Okay, then let me be sarcastic back. Just the type of guy you'd set up to be

patsy. You haven't read about... I've read a lot.

All right, let me ask you this question, okay? You're going to get some tight

-lipped assassin that's got a track record for you that you know is going to

the job done.

You'd hire the good guy that can shoot that will get the job done. That's

And you'll set up the crazy guy. That's the answer. And you'll set up the crazy

guy to take the fall. Okay.

There's no evidence that Lee Harvey Oswald ever had any association of any

whatsoever with these groups believed to be behind the assassination.

Okay. You won't let me talk. No, wait a while. You got your... Wait a while.

Wait a while now. Are you going to let me interrupt you when you're talking?

But when you tell me he had no connection to the CIA, who's George

Shield? That was his handbook.

George DeMoren was not CIA.

Absolutely not.

Absolutely not.

Vince. Absolutely not. Both the House Select Committee and... The Warren

Commission. And those I should... The Warren Commission I definitely should

believe. Wait a minute. Turn the camera off.

Vince is a friend, but that's what we're up against.

You can pile up all the evidence in the world and they don't want to listen.

Why hasn't anything leaked out in close to 47 years from all these

conspiratorial groups? Because there's nothing to leak out.

Well, something did leak out.

I got a lead on that photo of the three tramps.

A guy said he had firsthand evidence about that and a lot more.

He told me to show up at a motel on Hollywood Boulevard.

This wasn't the walk of fame.

This guy was lying low.

Who's that?

Jesse Ventura.

Saint John Hunt is the son of E. Howard Hunt, the CIA spook who ran Vice

President Nixon's hit squad, Operation 40, who reunited the old gang to break

the law for President Nixon.

He went to prison for masterminding the Watergate break -in.

Hunt died in 2007, and he took his secrets with him. Well, not all of them.

Your father, E. Howard Hunt, he was involved, obviously, he was a CIA

his whole life. 27 years in the CIA.

And there's many tie -ins with the murder of John Kennedy as well as

Certainly you have the Cuban faction that was involved in Watergate and can

traced back to the Cuban Revolution and to the overthrow of the Castro regime.

St. John, let me ask you this. Do you feel fear today in speaking out? It's a

more sunlight that comes onto this. The more exposure I get.

in telling my story, puts me in a greater level of danger.

St. John Hunt's story provided some dangerous answers.

First off, there was that photo of the three tramps at Dealey Plaza, the ones

who looked too clean -cut to be hobos.

You know, my gut has always told me that that old tramp has just...

So much of a resemblance to my dad. He had very unique looks. He had a very

long, thin nostrils, you know, pointed face.

He had this kind of jowl thing going on here.

Well, if it's any consolation, I've looked at both your father's photo and I

agree with you. Yeah, I was aware of all these things, but, you know, I just

didn't know what to think. And, of course, my dad would never talk about it

until he brought me down to his bedside in Miami, Florida, when it was thought

that he was going to live. much more than another few weeks.

That's when a father was about to make a startling confession to his son. St.

John Hunt wanted me to hear some tapes he'd recorded in his father's final

E. Howard Hunt's deathbed confessions about who really killed JFK.

He was getting old, and you sat with him, and he confessed that he

in the murder of John Kennedy to you? That's exactly true. That was stunning

information.

Shocking.

He said that there was, in fact, a plot, that the plot was to have been carried

out in Miami, and it was changed to Dallas.

Well, rather than saying anything more, let's listen to it. All right, here we

go.

Coming up, the first time on television, a JFK conspirator confesses and names

names. I was a bench warmer for the big event.

Jesse Ventura is with the son of CIA operative E. Howard Hunt, about to hear

Hunt's deathbed confession of his role in the JFK murder conspiracy.

He admitted what to you? Exactly. He admitted that the code name for the

operation to assassinate President Kennedy was called the Big Event.

And he was proud of it.

How is one proud of that? I mean, they really felt that determined that Kennedy

was so bad for the country?

Well, not for the country, for the interests.

Operation 40 took people out. That was their job. That was their mission.

And it was the same bunch of guys.

that were trying to assassinate Castro.

David Morales, Frank Sturgis, who would have done anything to avenge the failure

at the Bay of Pigs.

Well, rather than saying anything more, let's listen to it. All right, here we

go.

Sturgis and Morales and people of that yoke stayed in

apartment houses during preparations for the big event.

Their addresses were very subject to change.

I was a benchwarmer on it.

We backtracked the chain of command during the run -up for the big

event.

There it was, all spelled out, E. Howard Hunt admitting a plot.

And it verified the information I'd gotten from old Ron.

Let's go beyond Kennedy and let's go to Watergate. What were they there to find

when they burglarized this place?

My father told me that there was a safe that they were to get into, and that

safe was evidence linking President Nixon to Operation 40.

The information that

was in that safe.

Would that have also led to Kennedy? It very much would have led to Kennedy. Do

you have any idea why those notebooks disappeared? What was in them that would

cause them to be that sensitive?

These guys were an intact, ready -to -go group of assassins. They were sent

worldwide to eliminate foreign leaders, diplomats, anybody that was unfriendly

to the United States government.

And at that time, many people believed Kennedy.

was unfavorable to the United States government. Absolutely, absolutely. So

they had to do was take this Operation 40 and send it to Dallas. And just point

it in that direction. These guys were queued up and ready to go. They were

locked, loaded, and ready to rumble.

The tapes added one more element.

Another future president pulled into the plot.

First Richard Nixon.

Then Gerald Ford.

Then George H .W. Bush.

Now... LBK.

He, in my opinion, had an almost maniacal urge to

become president.

He regarded JFK as an obstacle to achieving that.

Lyndon Baines Johnson, the vice president who became president.

Now, this is a person that my dad implicated in the plot directly.

Looks like it took a dying man to finally get to the truth.

All these years later, people are still afraid to tell what they know.

Maybe that's why our leaders talk about change while everything seems to stay

the same.

Maybe they know something we don't.

This is where JFK was laid to rest.

The eternal flame marks his grave.

I came here to shoot this final statement, but the Army wouldn't let me.

A guy named Ken Hawes from their public affairs office told us, they don't like

our show and what we've got to say.

So I got my congresswoman on the case.

All she got was more runaround, more bull, and no answers.

Almost 50 years later, it's still the same old military industrial complex.

The same power still calling the shots, still threatening, still trying to keep

us from the truth.

A lone gunman, a magic bullet. Wake up.

I'm Jesse Ventura, and this is Conspiracy Theory.
