I would like to share my personal views

I was against any form of gun control
whatsoever. I thought that abolishing

or limiting possession might be an
infringement on people's rights.

They might be vulnerable without them or
certainly be impossible to implement

the government laws there.

man, an employee that worked there in
the daytime, went to school at night.

Some of us were trying to get him a
scholarship to college, you know, and I

in there one day and he wasn't there.

It seems that he'd worked the previous
weekend late at night and

he was shot to death by some gunman who
stole $23.

He was shot eight times.

And that changed your mind about gun
control?

I know I may lose some votes.

But I say this, my political advisors
have all warned me against talking about

gun control on either side.

They feel it may cost me the election,
and I have a tendency to agree with
